Lunch was lovely, friendly staff & clean, bright environment. I did miss the artwork usually on the wall though!

Met friends for Sunday dinner it was fab,the staff are super friendly .

Incredibly friendly, extremely well priced, lived in Sherburn for years and never paid attention to the fact we had a garden centre nevermind a Cafe, absolutely our new place to go.

Sadly twice have had empty tables although only two of us they couldn't take walk ins this smacked of mismanagement and does nothing go show experienced in catering.

Visited this afternoon with my grandchildren. My grandson only likes chocolate cake and we were told that they didn't have couldn't despite one being on display on the back shelf. When I pointed this out I was informed that they were not selling them now! The cakes that were available for the rest of us was a very limited selection unlike previous visits when it has been so difficult to choose.

Went for Sunday lunch today. Didn't appear too busy but,having already waited a while before orders were taken it was almost 40 minutes before the first course arrived. Had to ask a waiter to chase it up. The food itself was fine but the service was slow. Disappointing as reviews are good . Probably won't go there for lunch again.

I visited after seeing their social media posts advertising their breakfasts. It was totally worth the twenty minute drive. I opted for the vegetarian breakfast with extra sausage. The halloumi & spinach was delicious. By far the best breakfast for miles around. The poached egg was perfectly runny. Everything on the plate was piping hot. I loved it so much I took another friend this morning. Second time around and again it absolutely scores ten out of ten! Great service from fun & friendly staff. The coffee was also fabulous. I notice they also do Sunday lunch - will definitely be checking this out soon!

Was recommended to try this place for Sunday Lunch, and so glad we did. It was the best we have had in several years. Perfect (huge) Yorkshire pudding, loads of tender Beef topside, honey glazed parsnip and carrot, roast potatoes, mash, sugar snaps & Broccoli, Cauliflower cheese. Absolutely gorgeous ( we immediately booked again for this week). Great value at £14.95. 5 star all the way !

The food here is excellent and we've never had anything other than great food or service. Perfect for families, couples or just drop-ins - always a pleasant atmosphere and the staff are lovely - it's really a hidden gem and totally recommended

Visited for the first time after being told about it. We booked for Sunday dinner as vegetarians. Sat outside under a shelter with our puppy. The staff were very friendly and obliging. The butternut squash and goats cheese pies were delicious. As was the rest of the meal. We spent a while looking at plants and gifts. A very enjoyable afternoon. We will be back. 😊

First time here and won't be my last. Reasonable sized car park. Trolleys available for your plant purchases. Sells garden and house plants, gifts, bird/pet food and accessories, pots and has a café on site with lovely clean loos. Plants range from little air plants to a topiary elephant (£900). I really enjoyed browsing their plant selection, proffers some more unusual specimens that I hadn't seen elsewhere. Staff were friendly, obliging and knowledgeable and Peter was, I have to say, exceptional - very impressed with standard of service offered, so thank you. I had an 'Earl Grey + orange cake' with a ginger and lemon tea and it was delicious - bit of a long wait for it though, thought I'd been forgotten about. I am definitely revisiting because of Peter!

This has got to be one of the best quality Sunday Lunches in the area. Food really good, for a young waiting staff they do well, give it a try, not cheap but worth the money.

We went for Sunday lunch today and it was THE BEST Sunday lunch we’ve had. Everything was gorgeous that we had and the service was impeccable too from Fergus and Liam.

Just found this little jem. Fantastic customer service. A lovely high quality cafe attached to an exceptional garden centre. Would definitely recommend. The quality & layout of plants is a gardener's dream, with well cared for specimens.

What a brilliant place to meet for a spot of breaky or lunch. Places like this are really valuable to our local community, a good spot to meet up with friends or a bit of lunch. The coffee is great, the food we had was all top notch, they also have a licence if you fancy a cool beer on a hot day, the staff are superb. Particularly Charlotte who gave us a big smile when we entered and found us a table even though we hadn't booked and it was a busy Saturday. Do call here if your in the area, a nice little garden centre and a great little café.

The staff are nice, as is the food. However, we found the menu to be generally overpriced and poor value (especially the pancakes). The menu itself also doesn’t have much variety if you’re vegan. A nice place, but let down by overly expensive menu. Probably wouldn’t visit again as we spent twice what we would have done at a different cafe/eatery.

So lucky to have this place on our doorstep! My friend and I came for a mooch around; Paul was very knowledgeable about the plants and gave us some brilliant advice. The prices were reasonable and they even managed to squeeze us in for Sunday lunch despite being fully booked. Very friendly, warm and welcoming place that I could have stayed at all day. Small garden centre, cafe very good, good menu plus specials, garden centre small but the plants are of very good quality, a more expencive than soon but you do get best quality plants etc, it's worth a visit 😀

Very accommodating to 8 cyclist who turned up while they were fully booked. Sorted out with top quality hot sandwiches, coffee and cake. Not the cheapest place but food worth the extra as quality tasty sausage and bacon. We only ended up here as the cafe in Tadcaster was less accommodating but sure it will be an addition to our club run route .

Visit with family, I'm from Glasgow. Good parking facilities. Staff very attentive with good quality service. Had the beef brisket sandwich and chips, absolutely delicious, certainly will return in the future.

Absolutely gorgeous weather so we sat outside at Fields Garden Centre in Sherburn in Elmet. The lunch we had was absolutely 💯 percent fabulous. I would definitely go again.

Just sat in the sun on the decking and eaten a beautiful fresh salad. Just a perfect day, could not fault it. Well done x

We had some really good advise from Pete on what plants to get that would grow up a wall and be evergreen and flower. Lovely garden centre, very interesting plants....from winter pansies to hugh olive trees. We had breakfast in the restraunt, which l would highly recommend.

I searched Google for restaurants and it did not come up. It should do as it is not just a tea room. Will call again when I am in the area.

Nice garden centre with great little eatery

Hi, had to send this review as my mum moaned all the way home after having lunch with you today . She asked for the braising steak sandwich which she had last time we came and was lovely… this time it was not ! Meat came dry with no gravy ! Two slices of dried bread ( no butter) with a basket of cold fry’s ! Last time it came with side salad and coleslaw as well !! It was dia and for £8 !! Sorry guys but consistency is the key or you will loose your locals ! My cheese and ham was on the other hand very nice and the same as I had last time .

Love Fields for products but find it frustrating that not all trees and shrubs are priced. Sorry to be negative but the pricing indoors is barely visible on most items. I don't want to be constantly asking so I end up buying nothing.x

My family and I all had Sunday lunch at Fields on the 18th July. The children were able to run around. The food was excellent and the service was brilliant. I would recommend Fields for the excellent food and service.
