Omg best food ever amazing atmosphere friendly amazing place . Family friendly Children friendly but also a good place for you an your friends to chill out as well as that special someone . Love Love the decor very stylish an elegant top class. They have live music sometimes, a dj and just an awsome place with really good food . Best 👌 👍 😍

Went to a party tonight to celebrate my niece’s birthday. She had paid a lot of money to hire this venue. And we were having a fantastic party with music and dancing. However the management at the venue had lied to my niece she had booked this until midnight for a party with music and they took her money and ruined our night. Shame on you!!! Don’t book a party here as they are liars!!!!

Food was absolutely amazing and delicious. The atmosphere and staff energy and vibe was fantastic. The place is lovely too, we really enjoyed it and will most certainly be back.

Went in November for son’s birthday. Had a warm welcome. Lovely decor all blues and golds. Delicious cocktails. Quick service. Enjoyed all the food and it was nicely presented. The restaurant was freezing though as heating was broken. Manager took time to talk to us. A pleasant evening however felt a bit letdown as on booking on phone said to manager it was son’s birthday could they do a candle in a dessert and sing happy birthday she said yes. On the evening we ate I went up to the same lady at the bar and said we not having dessert could you still do a candle for us, she said yes is in an ice cream ok, yes I said. We waited and waited, got fed up, paid the bill and left. We were only one of two tables in there so not busy. Would I recommend? Well food was nice so why not but for a special occasion for us we will go elsewhere.

My friend and I had such a lovely time at Fethŕ this afternoon, enjoying the succulent breakfast burgers and indulging in dessert too...the Baileys Creme Brulee was a joy! A special thank you to Demi and the team for their excellent customer service and attention to detail, it was A+5⭐️.

Wow wow what an absolute stunning venue elegant sophisticated classy everyone here was very welcoming. The drink made by the barman went down really smoothly and I'm not even a gin drinker but the food was next level you . Flavoursome . Definitely the place to go its children and family orientated too. The owners came an introduced themselves . It was a perfect night atmosphere was social chill vibes the staff was friendly an went out there way to make you feel welcome .

Amazing hospitality, from the minute you walk in the door, you are made to feel welcome Would highly recommend this to anyone in the area. Look out for some of their events coming up.

We went on a Saturday evening with my son and daughter. At first all seemed good We ordered food which came out at a reasonable time but my sons dish was stone cold my granddaughter had paella which looked nothing like paella. It was evident that the waiting staff knew some of the table guests and seemed to spend more time looking after them, it was very noisy in there too. What did it for us that it took 25 mins to clear the table. In the end we couldn’t wait to get out. Would I recommend this place I’d say no I won’t be back such a shame as it’s local to me!

Family travelled from near and far to be part of a surprise party. Fethr were generous in allowing me time to decorate. Some pre orders were put in but with a party of 22 all food arrived on time. Food was delicious agreed by all attending, service was courteous- nothing was too much. Thank you for a great afternoon of good food, company and celebration.

Lovely service - great food and reasonably priced. Waitress was informative and happy (very important). It was a quiet evening but we were treated fantastically. We had a range of tapas - the beef strips were perfect!

We are new to the area and this was our first visit we will definitely revisit. Great tapas, lovely food, fantastic atmosphere and felt welcome by the owner & staff.

Excellent food as usual in this brilliant restaurant. The service was exemplary, the menu choices great. We had another fantastic evening for our family and a wonderful time. In particular the lamb chops were succulent and perfectly cooked, the tapas prawns were so tasty and delicious and everyone’s expectations were fully met, and all at a very reasonable price. We’ll all be back very soon.

Just had the best time at Fethr for a belated birthday lunch. Birthday fell in lockdown unfortunately. Sandis so welcoming as always. He is just the best host we’ve ever known. Always goes the extra mile and beyond. Tapas was so delicious - calamari, patatas bravas, meatballs, garlic mushrooms, spanish omelette... and cheese, biscuits and chutney to finish, all washed down with a very nice Malbec! Lovely ambience, great music and first time we’ve eaten there and it didn’t disappoint! Charming waitresses too! Well done Fethr!

My first visit here and I wasn't expecting much from the lunch menu, but when the food arrived I was shocked at the quality and delicate flavours I'd expect in a Michelin restaurant. Highly recommended.

Another stunning meal from Fethr today.Started with a refreshing sangriaThen our table was complimented with dish after dish coming out to enjoy altogether.The mussels are so big and juicy in a bread soaking white wine sauce.The crab was lovely and fresh!Oysters - delicious!Always served with a smile and left feeling satisfied.Thank you Fethr!

You can rely on Sandis, the patron and his chef for their good humour and their excellent food. On Sunday, Father's Day it was no exception. The food was ready for collection on time . Authentic Paella and a selection of steak, vegetable dishes, and calamari were packed in practical containers and this excellent meal was enjoyed by all. The food was to the usual very high restaurant standard. We highly recommend. Thanks from David

Just had the gambas, mussels, padron peppers and paella as a takeaway, not quite the same as eating it on a beach in Spain but a bloody good 2nd,the whole meal was excellent, my wife recons its the best takeaway she's had

Had takeaway paella from Fethr on Sunday may 24th. It was excellent. Very fresh and tasty and a good portion. I highly recommend!

Five dishes ordered for our daughter’s 23rd birthday. Lockdown wasn’t going to stop us celebrating. Meatballs, prawns, calamari, patatas, whole sea bass. Oh and some extra cold Estrella beers.Just perfect, delicious sauces with the meatballs and prawns. Crispy calamari. The sea bass fell off the bone and I loved the pickled carrot. Fethr was well set up for social distancing, hand sanitiser. Great packaging made it easy to transport home and enjoy sitting out in the garden. We felt we were in Ibiza. Thank you Sandis - we shall return your wooden fish platter, love Ali & Dave x

Adrian was the friendliest bar tender! Very hard to come by in beckenham! Even with the busy crowd he was attentive and kind.. thank you Fethr for employing him!

We had booked a table for 4 of us here, as we had liked the 'Taste of Cyprus' restaurant which had stood on the same spot, and wanted to see how this measured up. My partner and I arrived 10 mins before our 7.15 booking, having to weave our way through a group of 'dubious characters', who were loudly jostling and larking about outside. We stood ignored at the bar until I caught a barmaids attention, to be told "I'll find the waitress for you". As we stood waiting to be seated, we were aware that this half of the restaurant had been set up as a bar/diner, and there were balloons with '30th' on them. The clientele in this section were clearly just 'here for the beer', and gave no consideration to people in the 'restaurant half' of the premises. The music was certainly not 'in the background' and would have spoilt the dining experience. As we had still not even been booked in, we decided to take a chance on getting a table next door at 'Zi Theresa's', which we've visited many times before. Luckily we were given a table by the lovely people there and the evening was saved! By the way we are in our mid 30's, so not 'old fogy's'. This is what you get when you try and be all things to all people. Avoid this place if you want a relaxed dining experience!!

Visited with a few close friends for dinner. It’s split 50:50 bar/restaurant...Bar was busy, restaurant less so.Positives: Staff really friendly. Main course of cod was delicious, but very small, by contrast to the chicken - which was a significant sized portion. Negatives: As I was still hungry I ordered cheese board but requested no goats cheese... received 4 small slithers of Brie and goats cheese! This was accompanied by some dry melon slices and half a strawberry... I sent it back and although another board was provided with an apology - it arrived as before with four slices of hard, cold Brie and a couple of tiny pieces of cheddar, both of which were not good to be fair. No choice of cheese, no grapes, no chutney, no flavour....Additionally, whilst we were there at least 4 ladies complained there was no toilet roll to the staff, and were promised it would be replaced... And two complaints at the bar about the flat tonic water which was blamed on a bad ‘batch’ but someone would pop out and get some more...Such a shame - it has potential to be a great local restaurant, but spectacularly falls down on some essential points...

This is now a regular restaurant venue for us. The menu is small but creative and the food is beautifully presented and represents excellent value, the same with the wine, something for all tastes. The icing on the cake is the staff who offer a personalised friendly service. We will be back.

Been here a good few times now and will keep returning. Super friendly staff and a great place to have a drink with friends. Had some of the bar food in the past and really recommend it. Definitely worth a visit

We were welcomed by the owner who is great fun and so friendly as are all the staff. Lovely meal with fantastic steaks cooked as requested. The two birthday girls were treated to a desert with candles and a free shot and drink was offered to all 9 of us. Great evening.

Turned up at about 4pm on a Sunday for an early-ish dinner as they close at 6 on Sundays. It was quite quiet and we had a couple of drinks at the bar first; they do a very nice G&T! Ordered food at about 5, and it came promptly. We started with some plump juicy fresh oysters with a very tasty chimmichurri sauce (suggested by the chef) and then a massive slab of rib-eye steak, perfectly cooked on a proper flame-grill, served with roast baby potatoes, wilted spinach, celeriac remoulade and salad with a lovely dressing, all perfectly seasoned, full of flavour. The only downside... I was way too full to try a desert!It was quite pricey, but then we had ordered one of the most expensive dishes on the menu. It was however worth every penny, top marks for quality and quantity. It was quiet in the bar and restaurant that evening, but the staff were really friendly, and the chef is really passionate about his food!

We booked a table for 6pm on Saturday, we had a drink at the bar first and we were shown to our table. We were the only customers in the restaurant area. We went for tiger prawns and butternut squash soup followed by chateaubriand for two with sides, all excellent. Surprisingly we still managed to have a lovely cheesecake. Pleasent but slow service.

Visited on a Saturday evening for a few drinks but will NEVER EVER visit again.Fethr was only about half full (admittedly busy restaurant) but service (or lack of) throughout the evening was awful. Typically waited about 20' minutes at the bar to order drinks. Other customers were similarly complaining about long waiting times for both food and drink. I heard at least 2 people complain their food had been on order at least 1 hour but still not arrived.This is not the first time we have visited but encountered unreasonable delays for drink, and, to the truthful, the venue doesn't have enough individual style or quality to warrant hanging around to get drinks. It's a very pretentous cocktail bar but lacks the basic requirements to be recommended.Friends who have been there say the food menu is good (but with delays) but there are numerous other quality restaurants and bars in the area to give Fethr a very wide berth.

It took a long time for us to be seated and then the service was extremely slow with no acknowledgement or apology. We had to leave before dessert to get back to our babysitter. Not a great experience.

So as local residents we had been intrigued by this restaurant. We were invited to a party and me and my partner and 11 month old baby were excited to experience the restaurant. On arrival we met our friends and I began to remove my baby’s hat and coat. Before I had a chance a lady appeared and stated in a rather abrupt tone’no Children in the bar after 7’ nothing more was said but she waited by us until we left. On leaving I noticed a man at the bar with a dog! So in short if you have a dog and a child and want to visit this restaurant leave the child at home and take your dog.

Outrageously busy, yet still gave us great service and the food was great. I had rare fillet steak and my wife had the duck breast. Great value for money and will definitely be going back!

Needed a local restaurant for a central meeting place for a quick lunch...it was so comfortable that we stayed about 4 hours. Relaxed and a bottle of wine later, we both chose from the two course lunch menu. Delicious. So much so one of us also had the sweet. Neither of us had been there before. The service was good, staff all friendly, happy, singing along with the chilled music. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and will definitely return!!

This was my fourth visit to Fethr, but my first for lunch. We went for the two courses for £9.90 each which is a brilliant deal, I had the melon and palma ham balsamic salad, this was very tasty. For my second course I had the seafood pasta, it had a few mussels on top but mainly consisted of Squid (I’m not a massive fan of squid) however it’s a seafood pasta so I would expect some squid but some big king prawns would of been lovely, but considering the price of the lunch specials I can see why there wasn’t. My suggestion would be to have in brackets what seafood is in this pasta dish) next time I will go off the usual menu as I would prefer to pay more and get what I want. I will be returning but I wanted to provide feedback on this particular dish as I was disappointed and didn’t eat it.

Fethr Cocktails are so good ! Best amaretto sour ever ! The bartender puts his own twist on the classics recipe & it so works ! Food is delicious staff are so friendly , fun & down to Earth! We always feel welcome can’t wait to come back with my daughters and Friends .We tried the 3 course set menu & really enjoyed. I highly recommend this restaurant.......

No information on their website as it is not complete, so read the reviews and thought why not! Here is why not:1. An hour and forty minutes from entering the restaurant to getting any food2. Only one waitress with the very occasional interjection from the male owner3 No oysters but only told this forty minutes after ordering them4 One round of drinks and then ignored for a further fifty minutes5 Mussels served, very good, but no finger bowls or wet cloths to clean up6 No additional plates to put main course eaten ribs onto so plates were overcrowded7 White wine not properly chilled and sticking the bottle into a cooler doesnt help8 Roast beef was stone cold and returned for hot - came back having been put into a microwave and was then tough, grey, awful, owner tried to convince me that it had not been put in a microwave, well I don't know any other way of getting any meat that colour and that texture except in a microwave!9 Sirloin steak was untrimmed and had too much gristle left in it making it difficult to eat10 Never never add the contents of your citrus fruit bowl to a gin. Never serve a single gin in a large balloon with ten ice cubes and then top it up with tonic, you cannot taste the gin at all. Certainly never do it to quality gins.Sorry to say unless this restaurant pulls up its socks it will suffer and disappear.eat. The owners are willing and very amiable, but let down by poor staff especially the kitchen.

Fethr has a real buzz and we were given a warm welcome from the owners. Decor is crisp and contemporary and there is a bar area and a restaurant area. Service was excellent in an informal and friendly way. The menu is straightforward a with good selection and our food was really good.We will definitely return and would recommend Fethr for a meal or bar snacks or just for drinks

We have been to Fethr a couple of times before just for drinks as they have a lovely bar area which we found it very friendly with a great atmosphere. We have now experienced the restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic.. the food was delicious and the service was very friendly and professional. This really is a great all round place for either drinks or a delicious meal. I would highly recommend it.

Been to this restaurant twice and not been disappointed , we will be going back very soon, the first time we went was midweek and enjoyed the mussels immensely, second time was for the Sunday lunch and enjoyed the roast beef, very good value for money, the wine by the glass was very reasonably priced, the service was great with very friendly staff, I have recommended this restaurant to friends and they too have enjoyed going. Keep you the good work.

Visited this restaurant with our daughter and boyfriend. Slightly disappointed as from the outside it looks like a big restaurant , however there is only about 7/8 table max in the restaurant area. There is a large bar area with tables in it.I would class it more as a bar, there is bar food available. It is a lovely place, a good place to meet for drinks and cocktails with friends or work colleagues. Staff were very helpful. Not a huge menu, not much variety, fairly basic, but pleasant.

Not great dessert though!First visit to Fethr and decided to go for main / dessert combo. Our party had salmon and mussels for main which were both great. Dessert was hit and miss, but 2 were taken off the final bill. Complimentary drinks after. All in all a decent meal, attentive service and reasonably priced

We visited with friends on a Wednesday evening and were welcomed warmly then taken immediately to our pre-booked table with menus provided. Our drinks arrived very quickly and our order was taken promptly. HOWEVER, we then had to wait almost 1.5 hours for the food to arrive with other tables who had been seated after us receiving their meals first. The staff are lovely and when the food did arrive it was delicious. On being asked at the end of our meal if everything was OK we said the food was excellent but mentioned the long wait. We were told that the chef had had an accident in the kitchen resulting in the delay. As we were treating our friends to a birthday meal we didn't wish to make a fuss so didn't bring up the fact that other tables had been served before us. We were treated to a complimentary drink which was a nice touch which is why it is such a shame that a restaurant serving good food is being let down by the service.

We celebrate my wife’s birthday here on Sunday afternoon. We were 25 of us and had the Sunday lunch menu. Everyone really enjoyed the meal we had and the service was spot on too. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful in every way. The roast especially was perfect. I like mine rare and that was not a problem at all. When we were singing all kitchen staff came out to sing for my wife as well and that was a really nice touch. We will use this great venue more and more often. Thanks a lot guys. Highly highly recommend.

From Liverpool visiting our friends who live in Beckenham, we were invited to this new place who's chef, I was told, had been employed by the best French restaurant in the area which we have visited on a number of occasions.On arrival our table wasn’t ready, we had drinks at the bar which seemed extremely noisy. Once sat down it then took a few attempts to get the menus & a few more to have our order taken. The managers seemed to be more interested in a group of people at the bar who could have been friends or relations. It took ages before any foods arrived and then in dribs & drabs..The food is neither French or Med, just a medley of modern cuisine with little taste and poor presentation. The menu is simple and should be easy to execute. This place is mainly a bar trying to serve food. One can get much better grab in all the coffee shops lining Beckenham High Street. No one apologised or acknowledged us when we left, only the barman gave a good bye wave.....

Okay so we decided to book despite a few negative reviews because we do believe in giving every new business a chance and we had heard rave reviews about the restaurant before it had changed hands. Firstly, I want to put this into perspective we went on a Monday night at 7:30 in the evening and there where only 4 tables to deal with. Let me make this clear this restaurant is not Greek in any way, the menu in our opinion was more French and I am now understanding why they had no menu on the website. We were seated and waited 5 minutes for meus (forgivable) after ordering we waited at least 20 minutes for drinks, when they arrived only one guest at our table was poured wine and the other forgotten (still forgivable). After half an hour waiting for food we were informed there was only 1 chicken left so one of our party was unable to have chicken (she chose to have a steak instead) after at least an hour and a half! the food arrived! shocking! so we expected big things as the menu was small. Unfortunately the food was cold! all mash and chips cold and every steak was cooked wrong e.g medium rare arrive well done and so on! All in all the staff were well mannered and fun but unfortunately don't have a clue! service was very slow. To top it off the bill arrived with a 10% service charge! we paid as we felt uncomfortable making a scene, but if I'm honest I'm not surprised as the service was so bad I imagine they wouldn't received any tips without this tactic. My advice don't bother if you want a real authentic Greek meal or just good food in general .. go elsewhere!

Booked for a group on Sat evening. The bar was very busy on arrival and as our table wasn’t ready we had drinks first.. At the table it then took a long time for any menus to arrive and even longer before our order was taken. Olives and bread eventually arrived although we had to request more. 6 slices not being enough for 12 people! We went for main courses only as we could see how long starters and mains would take. Well Over an hour before any mains arrived and then not all together as some took longer than others to appear. No apologies or offer of free drinks. The food was mediocre. A ratatouille being a couple of aubergine slices with some cherry tomatoes scattered over them. Service was disorganised and we were not made welcome but made to feel a nuisance when politely requesting anything. The menu is small and simple but expensive for what it is. This is predominantly a large bar with a small number of tables. We will not be returning.

A fantastic experience at Fethr. We visited here for our office Christmas Party and it was like receiving an early present. It is not often that you dine at a place where the staff and owners make you feel like old friends from the moment you walk in but that is the experience you get at Fethr. The food was outstanding and I am already looking forward to my next visit. Thanks Anna and Sandis!

Where to start. We been for a Sunday lunch as a large family and on a Friday night as a couple. Both occasions food and service been out of the world. Waiters and owners are very attentive in a professional way. Chef came out to see how is our meal and had a drink with us. Decor is very elegant and clean. Toilets are immaculate. Very impressed how clean the place is. They got small touches like outside tables has blankets on them and smokers can use. Such a good idea. Basically this is a great addition to the area and will definitely be going here more often. Highly highly recommend.

Decided to give this venue a try for the first time for our Office Christmas Party lunch. 22 people in attendance and have to say it was absolutely outstanding- the special Christmas menu was excellent and every dish received rave reviews from the team.Amazing and fun service from the owners and hosts Anna and Sandis. And just the look and feel of the whole place was brilliant- very fresh, trendy with a nice open plan feel.Would highly recommend and will be going there for sure very soon for their regular menu.Well done!

Our team Christmas lunch was held at Fethr and the venue was perfect for us! It was warm and very “on trend” interior decoration but cool enough for us to be dressed in our Christmassy best! The team that run the restaurant are definitely a feature of this business as they are fun, friendly and can not do more to ensure you have a great experience.Food was delicious, quantity and quality is 5 star!I will be taking my friends and family there again for sure - I just (very selfishly) hope this little gem doesn’t become so popular we can’t get a table without booking!
