Bueno, ¿qué más puedes pedir? No puedo entender las malas críticas. Debo admitir que estaba preocupado y casi cancelado. Tan contento que no lo hice. En la noche que fui, el personal me pareció excelente, amable y eficiente. Los pedidos llegaron a tiempo. La comida estaba por encima del promedio; muy fresco y muy bueno en verdad. No es un lugar romántico, pero sus mesas simples de madera son funcionales, al igual que muchos otros bares de sushi. Este tiene muy buena comida y servicio. Good sushi at realistic prices<br />Feng Sushi is handily placed by Chalk farm tube station and offers a good option for Camden japanese food. The menu is not particularly adventurous but the usual sushi and sashimi options are there and the quality is good and fits the no-nonsense natural wood ambience. A nice bonus is a decent selection of sake, including a taster combination set - what could possibly go wrong?!

This was a rushed birthday celebration for my where the celebratee had demanded sushi and this was the closest sushi restaurant to where he is studying. <br /><br />The food was excellent and as I&#039;d eaten in a Feng Sushi restaurant before I knew what to expect, relaxed Japanese dining. Firstly, I would like to point out that I used to waitress and have much empathy with restaurant staff as I’ve been there. It is tough. But this place has NO EXCUSE for my complaint. I was a waitress for years and know exactly what it’s like. I can record this place as the WORST place I have ever been to. I read the reviews on the day as I decided to pre-book (I have a tastecard). They were mostly bad but still gave it a chance, it’s down the road and I have 50% off. It is a Wednesday evening- only a handful of people in the restaurant excl. myself and my boyfriend. I will break it down chronologically: - Walked in- waiter didn’t acknowledge our booking but told us to sit where we wanted so we did. - Waited more than 5 minutes just to be given a menu though this is the first thing someone does when you’re seated. He says sorry I thought my colleague was going to give it (what colleague? This place is tiny and there is a handful of people). Just making excuses. - Then waited another 10 mins to order where again I had to call him over to take our order. Used the same excuse about thinking his colleague took the order. Bad excuse- if you did think that, communicate with her and ask her if we have been served. The FUNNIEST THING IS, when he took gave us our menus he genuinely said “Here is the food menu, here’s the drinks menu and I’ll be back in 3 minutes to take your order” I am not stirring words, this is 100% truth and exactly what he said. - Food comes over- average food. I get 50% off so I’m not as fussed. One main is brought over after having starters. Mine is missing but I thought let’s give it a few minutes. They should bring it out at the same time unless stated otherwise but ok let’s wait. 15 mins later we ask about my main and feel stupid for even waiting this long. They should have done a check back within 2 minutes anyway to see if everything was ok. When I ask another colleague (I’m assuming manager) and call her over, she walks over but then literally puts her back to me and starts to clean a table in front of her and over her shoulder goes “talk to me talk to me”- it was so rude. When I tell her I am missing my main which 100 million % we asked for- she checks the order and it’s not there. As if to say, your fault you didn’t ask, your mistake. The waiter has clearly forgotten. She hands over the situation to him rudely because of her mannerisms I actually felt bad for him. I don’t want him to get into trouble, we’re all human we all make mistakes. Then he apologises and offers a glass of wine and if I want to reorder and I said no simply because I didn’t feel like it. We ended up sharing the main that was given. IT GETS WORSE…. - We ask for ketchup- would’ve taken 10 secs, the kitchen is directly behind us. He walks to the kitchen (several steps away) and starts chatting to the chiefs and decides to forget about the ketchup. At this point we were laughing at how ridiculous this was getting. Asked the woman (who was previously rude) for ketchup and got it right away (did something right!) - When I go to ask the women for my bill, I see her being rude to her staff in the kitchen waving her arm in anger. Bearing in mind this kitchen is open and you can see everything. I go up to the cashier to pay as I think this evening I went grey already with the amount of waiting… The menus, taking the order, the food and then the ketchup… I don’t expect ‘customer service’ and contest this term as I think genuine, general kindness goes such a long way and you should not be working in hospitality/customer facing roles if you look like you hate people. She didn’t charge service charge (obviously) and when I have the card in my hand waiting for her to either take it off me or to actually pass the card reader, she so rudely and with a sarcastic face goes “YES?!” Even just looking back now, really I should have walked out of that door. Until this point I was being entertained at how bad this was but that was the cherry on the cake. Not once was I ever rude with any of them yet she spoke to me as if she literally hated me. It was so disrespectful and it ruined my night. FORGET the fact that she’s working at the restaurant, that is her job to be nice etc. NO, just as a normal human being, you should never be like that with another person. And you DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT BE IN THAT JOB. Where people pay money to have a pleasant time and you deliberately ruined it right at the end when they went to pay for absolutely no reason at all. I’ll stop there but both my boyfriend and I walked out in utter shock at how awful she was. At least the ‘forgetful’ waiter attempted to be polite. It is also a manager’s responsibility to manage their staff, tell them simple procedures about serving, assigning tables etc. I know that the staff review trip advisor comments and I will be glad to speak to senior management to take this complaint even further. They know exactly who I am and I regret not having raised this at the restaurant last night. You can still have a nice dinner without the service being amazing but this was just a whole other level of disappointing so please spare it, don’t go. NOT WORTH EVEN 50% OFF. Not worth anything at all!

Food was up to feng standards but service was lacking, our waitress forgot to bring 3 items to our table and was confused when we asked for them. At the end of the meal she offered to rectify the situation by removing items off the bill which never arrived, and took off service (which was discretionary). Had we not had a taste card/been in a rush for the next part of our evening we would&#039;ve kicked up a fuss. Even though we'd booked we were greeted as though we were completely unexpected. The small venue was made smaller by the presence of several motorbike couriers, who came and went throughout the evening - making food deliveries presumably. The focus on the staff seemed to be on these individuals rather than serving us as it took a long time for our order to be taken, and then our edamame were forgotten about. Food wasn't bad but not great. Miso soup was good. Gyoza was unusual (no pork option!?). Sushi was ok, but didn't try any with raw fish. Tempura vegetables dish was good. Edamame fine. Sake fine. Quiet on a saturday night but service slow and inattentive and didn't notice when we left. All I can say is I'm very glad I got 50% off with my taste card or I would have had very poor value for money.

I returned to the Chalk Farm Feng Sushi with a friend after a gap of 4 months or so and was looking forward to the excellent standards I had had previously. Certainly, the sashimi and miso soup were excellent, but the aubergine dengaku was a bit too oily and the tempura batter on both the rock shrimp and the squid was too thick. The service, however, was first rate and when I told them the Tempura was not as good as previously, they promised to take it up with the kitchen, so hopefully it will improve before my next visit.

Awful meal. I don&#039;t normally feel compelled to write a review but we were so disappointed with the food that we cancelled the remainder of our orders halfway through and went to the Thai down the road.<br /><br />Gyoza bore no resemblance to anything I have had before. More like a prawn wonton in a hard stale pastry. The sushi roll was memorable only for the lack of any discernible flavour whatsoever. The fish could have been cardboard and even the wasabi had no kick and could have been plasticine.<br /><br />No fault with the service but the food ruined the meal. It was a surprise as we have enjoyed meals at other Feng Sushis before. You don&#039;t expect an earth shattering meal but it&#039;s normally a tasty and reasonably priced feed. In this case the food seemed all to be have been frozen and assembled with very little care at the expense of all freshness and flavour

I usually order from elsewhere, and certainly wont order here again! Dread to think of the cross-contamination if they go as far as to hand over chicken to a vegetarian customer, with a big label on the bag stating VEGETARIAN TOFU.

I do love the food here and have been many times. It&#039;s always slow service but this was so bad we almost missed our gig at The Roundhouse. It took 30 mins before we got a drink and an hour for our food. We had to keep asking for service too. And my chosen food I was told had run out, but I was told this half an hour after I&#039;d ordered it. Not impressed and no one seemed very bothered. Not even an apology as we walked out after an hour and a half. Shame as this is such good food. They seemed more busy with take away delivery orders.

The sushi rolls were small and bland, really tasteless and did not seem fresh, the rice was all compacted, the tempura and nori was soggy, the avocado was mushy. The sushi ginger was warm and not crunchy.

This is a nice little sushi bar in Borough Market, we were welcome by a lovely lady and then seated. We chose salmon dragon roll which was yummy, then mean spicy tuna maki and hand roll which weren't as spicy as we expected it to be and maybe needed a bit more mayo (the Maki). Maybe a little overpriced for that sort of place but nice.

Feng Sushi is an average sushi. Some dishes are served well and others aren't to my liking. In general it's a stable, know what you are going to get, dependable chain restaurant. It's not outstanding and neither is it bad. The restaurant is in a great location for the Roundhouse and I have found myself there before a gig on a number of occasions.

Went to this restaurant after travelling from south east London only to be rejected and turned away at 9pm on a Sunday evening due to the restaurant being "fully" booked. We looked around and there was only about 4 tables of people eating. With all the remaining empty seats I really doubt they had bookings so late on a Sunday evening. Absolute waste of time would never ever go here now.

This is becoming my favourite Japanese restaurant....excellent food, great service, incredibly reasonable prices....I love this place. I took my Foodie Group there this evening and they were also bowled over. Do try the crispy salmon skin inside out rolls, the rock shrimp tempura, Miso Dengaku (aubergine, yum!), crispy salmon, tuna and Tamago in tempura, the chicken Katsu curry and oh, so much more ! Haven't had a dish that wasn't out of this world in the half dozen times I've visited this restaurant and am drawn back again and again!

My friend and i decided to return for Sunday lunch at the Feng Sushi in Chalk Farm. We were not wrong ! The staff were as lovely and attentive as ever, the food delicious with very generous portions (I ended up with a very smart doggy bag, together with chopsticks and napkins!) I would heartily recommend the crispy salmon skin inside out roll with spring onions and teriyaki sauce ....sublime...the skin gave texture to the sushi...a definite "must-try" ! We then had our favourite Tempura Rock Shrimp and baby squid. Oh yes...we also found a little space for Teriyaki chicken wings to start ! Great place - already planning my next visit. Also, if you have a Tastecard, they give you a 50% discount on the food.

Although Feng Sushi isn&#039;t the purveyor of the best sushi in London, it is certainly a reasonably priced reliable place to go for decent fresh sushi, especially without the guilt of contributing to environmentally unsustainable fishing hanging over your head. We were there for an early quiet Thursday dinner, which made for a very quiet meal somewhat lacking in atmosphere. Service was affable and efficient, and food came out fairly quickly too. Salmon and tuna was fresh, although the maki rolls lacked the finesse of a sushi master&#039;s touch - you can tell by the quantity of rice they&#039;ve used (too much in this case) and the firmness of the rice grains (individual grains should be tangible but the roll shouldn&#039;t fall apart). The miso soup was okay but rather salty. Gyoza was hot and freshly prepared. Overall a great place for a mid-week sushi meal but nothing to shout home about unless you&#039;re normally deprived of good sushi wherever you live.

I went to Feng Sushi with a friend for Sunday lunch and had a great time. The staff were friendly, efficient and professional and the food was delicious. The fact that I also received 50% discount on the food with my Tastecard made our experience even better !The only small problem was that we were seated near the door, which didn't close automatically, so that every time someone arrived or left, we had to jump up and close it, as a chill wind swept in! We are informed by the staff that will be rectified today and I have therefore had no hesitation in making another booking for 4 for dinner in a few days' time. I know all my friends will love it.

I went to this place because I noticed it is now available on taste card - 50% off all food so it was really a bargain! Food was great and there was a nice selection of wines which ranged in price and a small but enticing cocktail menu. I will be back :)

Popped in after roundhouse theatre at 9.40 to be greeted by "if you want to eat in you're too late". No offer of what they could do despite her clearly standing there with nothing to do. Plenty of other descent welcoming places in the vicinity that you should go to instead. Send staff on customer service course or treat the business to new ones or expect to go under.

I ate at another branch of Feng Sushi a few years ago which was pretty good. Times have changed. The food this time was really poor- probably the worst sushi/japanese meal I have had. Food was bland, over-salted and fish (tuna) smelled funny to the point of inedible.

I walked in just for a light lunch few days ago and I was very happy with what I got. I don't remember the japanese names of the sushi I got, but I had the rice rolls with the cucumber inside, and a seaweed salad. Everything was nice. The service guys were so kind and nice. I enjoyed this place as it was silent and quiet, just what I need sometimes. Will surely return.

This "Feng Sushi" place used to be the best place for sushi in london for me. It was my first choice. I have been ordering twice a week for three or four years, BUT now it's really disgusting. The ikura is displeasing and poor, the basic miso soup is half the size than it used to be, the chilly edamame stinks of Tesco's and so on.This is for you, dear Feng Sushi: please come back as you were or just forget us forever.The delivery guys and service in the restaurant are really nice though.

Hi I am so disappointed by my delivery. I absolutely love sushi and didn't have high expectations in this one, but it was even worse than expected. I've had the family sushi platter, chicken teriyaki and the fish soup. The sushi tasted all the same (no joke), the edamame was the worst I've ever had- no taste at all, and the chicken teriyaki was the same. I am so disappointed and angry by this experience that I wanna share it with everybody and warn you not to order here.

We had walked all over the south bank after the visit to the shard and we couldn't seem to find something to our taste to snack and but then we saw directly opposite the theatre on the upper level was this place well so glad we went in the tempura vegetables and prawns were a lovely snack really enjoyable and the service was great nothing was to much for the two guys serving us. Really had a nice time will return for a full meal next time.

A great little sushi bar if you're planning to visit the Roundhouse or if you're in Camden and want to get away from the crowds. There's some extra items you don't see at a traditional japanese restaurant, such as the pomegranate, edamame and avocado x-ray salad and the sushi is fresh and tasty. Been a couple of times and have always enjoyed it. A little pricey but a pleasurable way to while away an hour of me time.

Dopo una lunga passeggiata per Camden si arriva verso la stazione undergroond di Chalk Farm e prima di cambiare location si ha fame. come spesso accade passeggiando per Londra. Abbiamo adocchiato questo Ristorante Sushi, una sorta di catena commerciale. Il sushi è accettabile ed il rapporto qualità prezzo buono. fanno anche Take away e consegne a domicilio con un sistema molto efficiente.

I'm a regular client and the food is usually good. No complaints. However, they have this overpriced Ikura that I used to love and for some reason it started to get worse and worse in every order. The last one I had deserves to be exposed here and that's what I'm doing. When I say I'm a regular client, I mean that I order once a week. Approx 50£ per order adds up to £200 a month. 12 months is £2,400. So I have a reason and the right to be totally disappointed.When I complained, they offered a 25% discount. I don't want a discount, I just want the food to be good.

I have ordered form Feng Sushi twice. I wouldn't say that the food was bad, the service however is! I ordered from the Southbank first time and it took over an hour and a half. No apology. The second time was on Valentines day from the Chelsea branch. The food arrived on time however only a salad arrived. They forgot the actual 30 piece sushi platter which then took another 40 minutes to come back to me! No refund or apology again. Very unreliable and not worth the price.

We just received delivery from Chalk Farm Feng sushi and it was one of the worst meals I've ever ordered-we were unable to finish our meal. The salmon skin rolls tasted like they were made from clam shells not salmon skin-you could have broken a tooth on them. We left most of the sushi and even the spinach was inedible. Total rip off and totally inedible. AVOID

If they think they are serving Japanese food, their food is awful and not Japanese food at all.I have never eaten Japanese curry with vinegary rice. It was just wrong. Miso soup tasted like Udon soup.Never go back again.

Flaccid salmon, sickly sweet soup, undercooked soggy leaden 'tempura' batter which you would send back in a chippy, tasteless salad with lumps of dressing... And all arriving at different times. Utterly dreadful and shockingly overpriced. Have now looked at other reviews (wish I had yesterday) and cannot imagine this place will be around for much longer.

Usually I don't like writing reviews but Feng sushi was so terrible I thought I should tell others about it. We ordered about 10 different items and we didn't enjoy any of them. I was so looking forward to this meal but it was just disgusting! The food tasted so bad and I'm almost certain the tuna was not fresh. It costs too much for what you get.

We placed a delivery online and phoned to confirm receipt of order. We were informed that they had run out of white rice thus the order was amended and we were promised a speedy delivery. 1.5hrs later, with no delivery, we called to ask where it was. We were informed it was 'on its way'. 20 minutes later, still no delivery, we have called 4 times and have had no reply. Given that this was their second chance (an order two weeks ago was 45 mins late and cold) I feel I should advise all readers to avoid this place at all costs.

Stopped off before a gig for a 'quick' meal. It was anything but quick. Took 15 minutes for someone to give us a menu, by which time the people at the table next to us had got up and walked out in disgust. The table was filthy, no-one cleaned it during this time. We ordered a drink, then 10 minutes later ordered food. Yes, that took 25 minutes. Our food and drinks then arrived together 20 minutes after that. The rest of the time we were actively ignored.The waiter was 'disinterested' and having a conversation with someone else while taking our order, hence my husband ended up with the vegetable rather than fish option, but we had waited so long we couldn't be bothered to argue.The food was 'OK' nothing special. What put us off was being able to see the kitchen from where we sat. No plastic gloves while handling fresh fish and meat, delivery bike riders wandering around the kitchen in their 'leathers' and delivering food to the tables dressed like this, seemed to be no health and safety around the place at all. The sum total was a £40 sushi (FAST FOOD in Japan), which took over an hour to deliver along with drinks, no apology, no customer service what so ever. Obviously, won't be going back! And having now read the previous write ups, and having seen what we saw, I'd be worried for my life!
