Greta experience we went there for a date to try sushi for our first time. The man who served us was so nice and helpful and was accommodating to our first experience giving lots of info. He seemed very knowledgeable about the culture and was good to get some genuine insight

the best vegetarian sushi. I recommend the vegetarian curry .... vegetarian sushi (all rolls are delicious) .. West Hampstead is the best Japanese restaurant I highly recommend

I tried to order from its website, since there was a promotion code for it. However, the website is a scam, it DEDUCTED MY MONEY FOR 3 TIMES!!! AND THE ORDER DIDNT EVEN GO THROUGH!! When I called the shop, they asked me to send an email to the customer service without solving the problem! Totally ruin my mood.

I first tried Feng Sushi at the recommendation of a friend a couple of years ago. My expectations were completely exceeded and then some. Since then I’ve become a regular and the food has always remained excellent. Pairing with a Tastecard, this is definitely one of the best value meals around London. Keep up the good work!

We are regulars at Feng Sushi and our family love it. The food is fresh and presented beautifully. They can't do enough for my young children and we always look forward to our visits. As a vegan, and children who love fish - there is something for everyone. So before the end of the summer holidays, due to popular request, we shall be returning again for lunch !

Well located restaurant with a varied menu. Unfortunately, even though it wasn’t busy....we sat around waiting for quite a while & then having ordered it took quite some time for our sashimi & sushi to arrive. When the vegetable Katsu curry turned up it was lukewarm at best & had t go back, also the miso soup was just warm. We had good expectations for Feng Sushi.....but the experience didn’t meet our hopes. Must have just been unlucky 😩

We wanted to get some sushi near our university, but I guess that was the last time! AWFUL EXPERIENCE, the waiters are really nice, but the rolls were disgusting, poor quality fish and all the rolls were poorly made

Met up with my BF for lunch at Feng Sushi in West End Lane, yesterday. Unfortunately there was no parking outside the restaurant and I had to park on the side road, up a hill. Normally, this would not be a problem, but I have a lung disease which makes it very difficult to breathe, so it was a bit of a challenge. However, the lure of Feng Sushi's menu kept me on track, although my friend would have been happy for us to move on elsewhere. The food really was worth the struggle.....We had Yellow tail sashimi; tempura rock shrimp, tempura vegetables; Wakame salad and Miso Dengaku. Everything beautifully fresh and delicious. Service with a smile and happy to put what we were unable to finish into a doggy bag for later !

Been for sushi a few times here as I live locally, great little place with good sushi. Service is good, not amazing but suitable for the venue. Sushi is great, I had the salmon selection and used my Taste Card, good find and will certainly be returning :)

Great value sushi and lots of veggie options although obviously at these prices it’s not going to be the freshest stuff you’ve had. Nevertheless we are repeat offenders as it’s easy to fix that sushi craving without breaking the bank. Service can be quite slow as staff seem to be constantly dealing with takeaway orders which is a shame.

The food took ages, it was cold in there, the waitress was clearly new. She was sweet but terrible. She didnt come over once in the 20mins after we had finished our food, and there didnt seem to be anyone there to help her. We had to ask twice, till she did it. The food was nice but nothing special.

Was soo looking forward to it being as it a birthday treat to my girlie who had literally starved herself the whole day & journeyed all the way from Barking. I had reserved well in advance. 1)They couldn't find our reservations. 2) We were offered seating for 2 by the window We couldn't even pull out the chair being as it was hemmed in. My small handbag couldn't even fit in that seat, let alone slide 1 leg in. Perfect for my 2yr old nephew but not a grown adult. There were empty tables that could have been offered but the arrogant waitress was adamant that that was all they had. There were other 2 people dining in 4 table seating. We could have waited for them to finish.. All we wanted was sushi. Instead we got crap customer service. Pity, as they have lost out on a potential customer.

Went there for a family lunch as we were in the neighbourhood - we had a late lunch but still were surprised that only 2 tables (including ours) were taken, service was prompt but somewhat detached. Otherwise, the food is pleasant but with no sparkle, udon portions are massive.

Excellent range of food, fast service and good value overall.

The Udon soup was very sweet and deep fried vegetables (particularly the aubergine) were full of oil. The sushi was nothing special and I wouldn’t go back.

The food is always impeccable and my girlfriend and I love the cosy vibrancy of the restaurant. The staff are always smiling and incredibly hospitable. Thank you for the delicious meal and we shall certainly be back there soon!

Poor service- after telling the waitress I had a tastecard I was immediately told I was required to have a booking and therefore could not dine; baring in mind there was 1 other person in the restaurant at the time. I did however have a booking and showed it and was told it wasn't on the system.. I almost felt as though I was looked down on for this. The food was at a poor standard and did not taste nice. I have been to the Hammersmith branch many times; the food has been beautiful and service has been lovely. I will not be going back not would I recommend this branch to anyone.

Four of my Foodie Group just had the most delicious Japanese meal at Feng Sushi in West Hampstead. Miso soup, followed by Gyoza, salmon spring rolls, King Prawns in Katsu crumb, Aubergine Dengaku, Rock Shrimp tempura; spinach with sesame sauce; seaweed salad and salmon tataki......Four smiling well fed ladies ! I would however mention that ALL the food arrived at the same time, which meant that we rushed through it, rather than taking our time ....next time, I will order bit by bit, to enjoy it in a more leisurely manner.

I used my Taste Card and received 50% off the sushi which tasted good but the bill still seemed a lot for some reason. The evening we visited, it wasn't particularly bust but the waitress was clearly over worked and struggled to keep up with orders. We waited a very long time for food, some of which didn't arrive at all. Will probably give it another chance although my Taste Card has now expired so may wait till pay day :-)

Delicious and fresh sushi!!! Very nice and polite stuff. Great booking policy. The only thing is that they have a poor choice of alcohol. So if you want to have your tasty sushi with vodka or vodka based cocktail you can’t have it there I am afraid.

Tasteless imitation of Japanese cuisine in a dull dining room.

The food arrived early which was great. However the hot dish was stone cold. I heated it up in the microwave which unfortunately changed the texture / ruined the dish. As I love less that 100 metres from the restaurant there really is no excuse for this.

Nothing was really wrong but the quality of food is poor and the service is bad. Basically is a waste of money as time.

Having moved nearby to Feng Sushi I have become a regular for delivery...the food always arrives well presented and is always delicious. The vegan brown rice rolls are great, and the rock shrimp tempura is a great dish for kids too..Tonight's delivery was extra special..free bottle of wine for Valentines!! Thank you..

Came here with a few friends and the food was decent but the service was poor. We waited a while to order and no one bothered to clear our dirty dishes until we asked. Pretty much the same commentary as the reviews below. Would have also been nice to have actually had truffle oil on the dirty fries (as they’re detailed as being made with it) instead of needing to request it on the side!

Been several times - reliable sushi in a lovely part of NW London. The brown rice sushi (a speciality of Feng Sushi as far as I'm aware) is perhaps insulting to purists but delicious - sticky brown rice with crunchy poppy seeds provide a modest foil for whatever fishy (or veg) filling you have picked. It was particularly good this visit, and I'll definitely be back for more.

Food quality was excellent although I would say it was lukewarm rather than hot. Delivery was 10 minutes earlier and I had instructed to call mobile which was not followed.

Slow and poor service, we felt like we were forgotten. Food was alright but not made with love. Luckily they made a mistake and thought we had some local loyalty card so the food was half price which eased the disappointment.

My three kids loved the kids menu. Went at lunchtime there was only one waitress but she managed all the her covers well. Food was good quality, restaurant was clean and decor cool.

We went for lunch as we were attracted by the idea of a Japanese meal. The place itself is fine, pleasant and welcoming, but we waited too long for the food even if there were hardly any other guests (maybe they were serving take-out orders ?). The quality of the food was mediocre, and the tempura was not very tasteful. The waitress was nice, but overall we were disappointed. The bill for the three of us was £ 62, including the "discretionary" service charge that we asked to be removed from the bill - she took it well and was gracious about it. I doubt we will go back, too expensive for what we got.

Ate in tonight at the restaurant. Food was OK: not great not terrible. But the service was pretty awful. It took long to take the order and then they had no idea what had been delivered and what we were still waiting for. Finally told some of what we'd ordered was off. May be better off ordering take away but not certain you'd receive everything you'd ordered.

Visited on a Friday evening. First issue was that they couldn't find my reservation I had made on Open Table for 2 people at 7.30pm which just shouldn't have been a problem as there were multiple free tables but communication was poor. Once we were eventually seated it took a while to order a drink. Then the food that we ordered was generally nice except the prawn gyoza which were distinctly lacking in prawn. The manager apologised and took them off our bill then we ordered one additional item from the menu, which 30 mins later still hadn't appeared so we told them to forget it and just bring the bill. Luckily we had a taste card so didn't feel hardly done to.

Should be a takeaway restaurant, as they were more interested in fulfilling takeaway orders than serving seated customers.

I have just one complaint - they should organise their takeaway better as there were so many takeaway orders on Saturday night that we were kept waiting for over 1 hour for our food without being informed of that. Possibly they should improve on this point - but food wise it's been great as usual.

I ve been waiting for more than an hour my delivery, called, head office answered me and apologized cause of some issues and promised me to be refund.. Called 45 minutes after the first call cause nothing came... Finally the food has been delivered after 2 hours...and after a couple of days i haven't been refunded but i ve definitely been charged. Unfortunately there was a glitch in the system and they didn't receive my order this time, but offered to refund me the full amount as well as send me a discount promotion for future orders. Never had this problem w them before and was impressed they were proactive with the refund etc and still delivered delicious food. Shows they have solid head office behind them.

Good for weekday dining - it’s a bit quiet so ideal for chatting but can lack atmosphere. Food is fairly reliable and is quality fresh sushi.

Comida cara y poco apetecible. Llegó con 3 plato de salmón pequeñas piezas de recocido, secos y fríos, no salsa de salmón, en arroz blanco - caro a £12. Ramen de pollo tenía trozos de pechuga de pollo, pero estos estaban secas y fibrosas. La sopa ramen era muy sosa y olía a pescado que mi hijo, que normalmente ama a todos difícil comer ramen. Normalmente nos entrega de orden y las bandejas de sushi están bien. Quizás el comer de la calidad de la comida no es su prioridad. Sin duda no comer de nuevo. Comida horrible y cara. El servicio era desinteresado.

Been twice, and it was very good. The first time was way better though, so can't vouch for it's consistency.Overall very nice. I think it would be overpriced without a tastecard.

The Nippon 'Mock Duck" is served cold which would have been nice to know in advance but it was still taste. The Chicken Kastu Curry was great and I would definitely order it again. Delivery was very quick and the Delivery man was polite and courteous.

Feng sushi normally has amazing food. But due to the food being delivered 20minutes after their predicted time, my Mizo soup was cold and so was the chicken katsu curry! So more a reflection on delivery!

Very rude staff, was turned away for wanting to use TastecardThey showed us the door as soon as it was mentioned and made us feel like beggars. Extremely disappointed as came all the way for this. Would not recommend.
