Tried this takeaway restaurant for the first time, never again, probably one of the worst Chinese takeaway meals we’ve ever had, the chow mein had hardly any vegetables, thin cheap noodles in a watery sauce, special fried rice was anything but special, no complementary prawn crackers - we won’t be returning.

Such a lovely environment to order and collect from. All very kind and well aware of dietary requirements. Really nice food too obviously.

Very poor dish got chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce, this has no changes from.a carton to a sample pot as main dish. The egg fried rice had no egg and was grey in colour and sticky

Ordered by phone, ready in 15 minutes for collection. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Not eaten in as only ever had takeaways, but can highly recommend the food.

Food was really lovely and super quick service and value for money. Would recommend this chinese, no delivery but easy parking for collection

Haven't been to Felicity's for a while the portion of chips was small and the food was bland and heavily salted even the dog didn't want the left over chicken. Won't return sad as new owners.

Don’t eat here ! Gave me and my family food poisoning, been ill for days- only meal we all ate together and all became sick at the same time.

Just moved to the area and was told by a friend that there aren’t really any good Chinese takeaways in Flitwick. But we’d gone past Felicity a few times and were keen to try it out, so thought we’d give it a go, but didn’t have high hopes, especially having looked at reviews. But it was excellent! Much better than expected from the reviews I’d seen. We ordered on a Saturday evening and they were clearly busy. The food was tasty, fresh and very nice. The only reason for not 5 stars is that the sweet and sour sauce was a bit more runny than were used to, but that’s just personal preference. Everything else was nice and it was quite good value for money. Give them a go!

First time and last time, absolute disastrous meal! The food was so bad if we could have taken it back we would have. It’s the worst Chinese takeaway we’ve ever had. Some sauces were like lumpy gloop and others running in oil, the whole meal was absolutely tasteless. We were looking forward to a lovely meal, such a waste of money and food, we had to bin it, £46 down the drain! I never do reviews but I just had to do this one. I’ve even had to rate a 1 star to do this review, but ignore that, it’s a ZERO score.

Food was very bland but worse they broke the disabilities laws, so obviously we will never use them again

we love it here best chinese we ha e found in a long time love everything they do. Get one at least once every 3 months as a little treat. Brilliant prices and amazing food.

We last ordered Chinese from Felicity a couple of years ago. The food wasn't good then, but we thought we would try again in case things had changed. They have not. One of the dishes ordered was Chicken & pineapple. Some of the chicken pieces were actually RAW!!. I mean pink flesh raw! As for the other dish (Chili Beef), zero taste, zero chili. Nothing had any taste. If I closed my eyes and took a bite of anything off my plate, I couldn't even guess what it was. I had to wait 45 minutes for this meal to be ready to collect. This is not Chinese. The food has no flavor. You could make better Chinese at home, even if you are not Chinese yourself. Honest.

Only the second time in over 25 years in the area. Definitely not disappointed . Not over expensive reasonable service but very tasty grub. Go trying out.

This Chinese is probably one of the best places I've ever ordered from. Rang up and made my order and decided to walk down the road to collect my order (only a 15 minute walk from my Dad's house). By the time I got there, my food was already made. Also had the choice to eat in the restaurant, which was a lovely little place to sit down and eat. Food was lovely and at a reasonable price. Recommend!

We’ve just had our chinese from here for the first ever time due to our normal one being closed. We will defiantly be returning due to the great, fast service and lovely food. Well done!

Had a meal from here a few weeks ago and the order was wrong and most of it luke warm, thought i would give them another chance so ordered again last night, spent most of the night being ill and am still in bed with abdo pain, gave my dog a couple of prawns from the sweet and sour king prawn balls (no batter) and he was sick aswell. Once again some of the meal like the soup was luke warm.

The food is average, we have definitely had much better elsewhere. Service was terrible, didn’t feel welcome. Won’t be going back.

The starters we had were very good (grilled dumpling and spare ribs in spicy salt and chilli) but mains and rice were average. We did get free prawn crackers. The service was very good and they confirmed our order over the telephone and twice on collection. Parking is easy but the restaurant does look dated. No delivery on Friday or Saturday but will deliver for £1 on other days (they are closed on Mondays).

Very disappointing food tastes like it has been cooked hours before being serve . Asked for cashew nuts to be added to a curry which I was charge £2 extra for and got 3 nuts ! Better of using medou in ampthill far better .

If you visit this place, be prepared for appalling customer service from “the grandmother”. She would not allow my friend to charge up her mobile phone (3 pence worth of electric vs a £50 restaurant bill...) This woman looks at you as though everything is an inconvenience- she is definitely not restaurant material. No wonder the place is always empty. Thankfully the chap serving with her was a lot friendlier, otherwise I would probably have thinned out. The food is about average and the prices are reasonable, still can’t get over the appalling attitude of the “grandmother” though. She looks as though she wants to kill you if you dare ask for another drink. Doubt I’ll be going back. Looking for service with a smile? Go elsewhere!

I have been to this restaurant regularly over the past year and Ive always had great food with friendly service. The restaurant itself is a bit dated but comfortable.

Food was amazing. Very tasty and good size portions. My only criticism was the skewers in the Chicken snapped easily making them tricky to eat. The battered salt and chilli prawns and prawn toast were fantastic!

Used the restaurant here recently. We had set menu D which was very nice. Mixed hors d'oeuvres - spare rib, chicken ball, spring roll, chicken on a stick with peanut sauce and prawn toast. This was followed by an acceptable crispy duck, then an assortment of dishes. My wine was pretty nice as well. All seemed reasonably priced. I shall return at some point.

You can usually rely on restaurants that also do takeaways. Felicity’s is no different. Going to felicity for about a year now and really consistently good takeaway. Always hot and great tasting food, quite expensive but u pay for the better quality. Always taste clean and not like some of the other Chinese’s in the area that taste can be a bit

Absolutely standard fare as far as Chinese takeaways go. Everything you'd expect. Nothing flash, but everything cooked competently. Staff perfectly civil.

Nunca amable por teléfono. Comida, para ser sincero, es normal, pero es el único Chino que proporciona en y alrededor de flitwick. China es el mejor y con un gran servicio.

Excelente ubicación y zona para comer, pero necesita un poco de cuidado, podría ser mucho mejor y mas clientes probablemente atraer para comer en si fue renovado. Más que comer en llevar por desgracia. Comida razonable si un poco 'apresurado' en cuanto a servicio. Pueden sentir que están de 'a veces. econdary Curry de carne podría ser mejor si la carne era marinado. Fideos de arroz/es relativamente bueno. Cerveza bastante caro comer en. Comimos en el restaurante, aunque la decoración es muy mal estado, la comida estaba muy buena. El satay salsa era preciosa y tenía un plato de alubias dulce y agria y Szechuan y amarillo, todo muy bien. El servicio fue un poco irregular, pero en general fue una buena experiencia.

I have used this resturant many times over the years and had even recommended it to my friends. After today I can't see me going there again. I called for a takeaway and was told 15 minutes which given where I called from would be ok. I arrived early and my wife collected the food. We live approximately 4 mins from the resturant and so was looking forward to a hot meal. No such luck my wife put the food on heated plates only to be presented with special fried rice ??? It was warm just about and was very mushy and wet which had to be pulled apart just to get it on a fork. The sweet and sour prawn balls were reheated rubbish. We threw the food away as it was not edible. What a waste of money. Never again I will go to ampthill at least the food is freshly cooked and hot and tasty.

The food is always good here, service is quite quick in terms of collection, i probably wouldn't eat in though its very tired looking and has dim lighting

We stayed at Woburn centerparcs and asked staff which is the closest Chinese and they advised the felicityThey were right just a 2 mile drive and bingo we were there This is a working men's club with chinease above Upon entry looks a bit crabby but we thought if food and service good that's all what matters We were the only ones in there and my daughter placed her teddy on a chair on next table and pulled chair to her Some grumpy old lady proberally the grandmother asked for the chair to be moved backWe were going to walk out at this but were starving It did not get any better we asked for sauce for prawn crackers and it's as thou it was too much trouble I ordered another bowl of crackers with about 5 in a bowl and was charged 1.50 I find this shocking after spending for a meal of 4 I also collected the bowls together and dropped a fork and very Rudley the grandmother said "Leasve it to me " as thou I was four Food ok nothing special We eat up and left sharpish I would drive to the next one from center parcs There is meant to be a good one in amphill but they had a gas supply cut off

Used to use quite regularly then had couple disappointing meals but tonight thought would give it another go. Sadly wasted £26, the sweet & sour chicken balls were extremely overlooked & to ' hard & crunchy ' to eat ( never experienced this ever before), over cooked noodles & only part of them were flavoured ?, then had Chinese roast chicken which if hadn't of been in a sauce would have been to dry to eat. Curry sauce cold & too thick , just basics were poor. So sad as we like to support local business but we won't be going back for a while if at all.

We've used Felicity for years , unfortunately things are getting worse every time we order, and tonight was no exception, only had a small takeaway order of Bang bang chickenKing prawn currySpecial fried riceThe peanut sauce on the bang bang was tasteless hard to distinguish peanut in it at all.The chicken was fineAnd well you can't really go wrong with cucumber but there wasn't much of it.King prawn curry ..more like onion curry...only 6 small king prawns...and very very watery sauce.When we have eaten in the restaurant we have noticed that the sweet chilli sauce is also very watered down compared to how it used to be.It seems that they are trying to cut costs using cheaper and inferior ingredients .The decor is also not very inspiring and badly needs updating.It is a shame as we used to enjoy visiting regularly. We will start looking for an alternative Chinese, unfortunately there aren't any good alternatives locally......those wishing to open a good Chinese please note we need you .

Went on a Saturday night and was sadly disappointed. Expensive and small portions. I understand that a small town Chinese restaurant is unlikely to set the world on fire but this was largely inedible.Not a single dish was freshly prepared. All made from frozen packet ingredients and jars of ready made sauces. I'm surprised this place manages to keep any business even on its takeaway side. Guess customer expectation levels must be seriously low in Flitwick! Save yourself a lot of money and buy yourself a Tesco Chinese ready meal - it will at least be edible.

Went to the restaurant to order a takeout . We were greeted by the an elderly woman at the bar, who was incredibly rude. She was so unpleasant that we abandoned our order, walked out and went to another Chinese restaurant around the corner. I am sure they were delighted as our order was for eight people and came to over £120.Felicities is an establishment we will not be going back to again. Apart from the rudeness of a staff member , the place looks grubby and in my opinion could do with a good clean. If the reception area looks unhygienic , heaven knows what horrors lurk in the kitchen !!!!!

Another visit to Felicity, no need to book, surroundings not fancy but the food is great, great portion sizes and a nice selection on the menu. They also have a nice selection of wine. Cannot beat this chinese.

We chose Felicitys as we don't get out much and didn't really know of anywhere else. It was our 'date night' out away from our toddler so we were really looking forward to it. I shouldn't have bothered to glam up and make an effort as I would have fitted in with the decor in old tracksuit bottoms and a t shirt, maybe from the 80's, as that was obviously when it was last decorated and cleaned!!!The staff were very friendly and the service was very quick, we didn't have to wait long for our food or drinks even tho it was a Saturday night.The food was ok, nothing special. If anything I would say pretty bland apart from my 'Grilled chicken with garlic in wine sauce, Beijing style' with wasn't as describe, it was chicken in batter which was so salty I couldn't eat it!We had in total 3 small diet cokes between us, costing £7.20!!Unbelievable!Grand total of our mixed hors d'oeuvres, rice, chow mien, chilli beef, veg dish and my chicken £46.50!!I was shocked, we spend normally half that on a much larger portion sized take away!! ( from another establishment)We definitely won't be going there again. Think I'll have a look on trip advisor before we decide on our next date night!

I'd asked for a beancurd dish and was told what I wanted didn't exist and that they wouldn't and had never made that dish, it was only beancurd with yellow bean sauce and cashew nuts and I had this dish from this restaurant two weeks before!!! They told me that they would never make that dish because it would be disgusting - wonderful customer service! Still I was hungry as was my partner so I tried another beancurd dish - when we got it home a) it wasn't beancurd it was tofu (which I hate and had asked about) b) it was watery c) it tasted of nothing d) it was cold. Will not be going there again

Heading to Flitwick at the end of a long day and the staff at Felicity were really helpful. They took our order by telephone and were willing to time the pickup to coincide with our train getting in.Worked a treat, picked up the meal on our way from the station, no waiting or leaving the food to get cold, their timing was perfect.Good value and tasty food. Particularly liked the spicy soup and the very nutty satay.Definitely one to try again.

Absolutely awful experience! ! Rude staff, dirty, dusty decor and given our dirty cutlery back for our next course, 2 late teenage siblings on their phones behind bar whilst obvious parents run around trying to give some kind of service to the customers, the most attention we got was when we walked out!!

We normally get take away but we decided to sit in at this time as we had guests. We were very promptly shown to our seat and our drinks arrived within 5 minutes. The food arrived very promptly, no sales pitch or badgering for sides or extra bits either. The portion sizes were on the small side though compared to other places, we also got the same amount of prawn crackers between 4 of us as did the couple sitting near us. Overall it was an enjoyable evening but if we were really hungry we would stick to take away next time.

I've lived in Flitwick for 5 years and only once have I had what I suppose could be considered a "bad" takeaway from here. The only reason I can even call it bad is because the flavour of the dish was off somehow. They sometimes don't deliver when they are extremely busy, which is disappointing to say the least, but that just goes to prove how popular they are! On one occasion the delivery driver forgot our prawn crackers and despite having other deliveries, went back to the restaurant to get them and brought them to us in minutes. I am a really fussy eater but this is the only takeaway within miles that I trust to deliver fresh, hot, delicious food.

My Niece and me had a takeaway meal last night ,I know chips aren't really Chinese food but teenagers like them, she put them on a plate, They were definitely reheated ,shrivelled and dried ! ,and tasted as bad as they looked . its unusual that with lots of other people about the chips were not eaten ! , not impressed , its not difficult to fry some chips freshly with your order .

There are not many Chinese takeaways in the local Flitwick area, so you are to an extent stuck with Felicities if you don't want to travel! However, the food quality is nice and the service acceptable. It is not the best appointed restaurant around and is in need of décor upgrade. I would personally suggest a takeaway over sitting in and eating.

Went out for a family meal. The atmosphere and service were very good. The food was good, but the size of the portions a little disappointing. Having said that, the banana fritters were a generous portion and were the best we had ever tasted. The sauce was delicious. We noticed the takeaway orders going out from the kitchen and they looked much larger, so may do the meal as a takeaway next time. Also, I would agree with other reviewers and say that the decor could do with a little brightening up.

Shockingly bad. Rude, unfriendly staff who repeatedly stopped taking our restaurant order to allow them to answer phone and obtain a takeaway orders. Food ranged from poor (extremely greasy) to adequate at best. Buffet for four adults, but male member of staff ranted about how long the restaurant had been there for , 10 years (how?!), when asked for an order of chips for toddler who was with us. Apparently if anyone person wants to order from buffet no one else can order away from that menu. Bizarre. Hunger & tiredness were the only things that encouraged us to stay. Don't waste time or money here

Advewrtise that they deliver. Planned a night in with the family …Apparently Felicity's decide they wont deliver when they are busy. Ruined our evening. Aviod this restaurant, perhaps they wont be so fussy when they have no customers left. The easiest solution would be to not advertise they deliver or employ a delivery driver.

Went for a quiet meal on the 9 th of april , thankfully the table of 4 loud sweary women were leaving as we started to eat , the decor is a little tired but the food is always hot and freshly cooked . We will be going back , the hot and sour soup is the best !

went for dinner with the girls to felicity the whole way through are meal both members of staff were extremely rude and we had to keep calling them for service waited 20minutes for a drink and there was only us 4 and a table of 2 in the whole place! at the end of our meal the male member of staff abruptly came over to our table and bellowed that if we werent quite on our next visit not to bother coming back!! now firstly if you have ever been here you will know how closely the tables are seated togther so much so that if you did a silent fart the person at the other table could hear it! he was very aggressive and loud and rude now no alcohol was consumed at all we were just having a girly catch up and a laugh! we will never be returning again totaly disgusted and appalled by this customer service if thats what you can call it.

Bad/ non existent customer service, unwilling to let people with special dietary requirements to order off the main menu when someone else wants the buffet. The fizzy drinks are always flat and you get charged for water. Food is average.

Last minute decision to dine out with friends.. they love Felicity's but havent been fro a while. The freshly cooked food, very tasty and plenty of it. Love the curry dishes and huge spring rolls, king prawns in white wine is to die for, optional chopsticks (nope, can't get to grips with them!) Buffett 'all you can eat' menu is unusual as its not on display but ordered. Very warm welcome, friendly owners, good atmosphere, comfortable seating, love the typically chinese lanterns - just wish they would brighten up the decor a little ... £1 for home delivery... bargain!!

Hadn't been for a bit. Called in on or way home for a take-way, but decided to stay. Had the alst table on a Saturday night. As good as ever - still excellent.

Always have our take aways from Felicitys. By far the best locally. For sit down meals the buffet midweek is hard to beat.

We eat here/get a take away about twice a month. Can never fault the food! Always hot, well priced and the staff are friendly remembering who you are and actually talk to you rather than small talk. Overall I couldn't ask for any more from a Chinese restaurant!

If you are looking for an exclusive and welcoming restaurant in terms of decor, this isn't the place! It's upstairs to what appears to be a working man's club and is far from posh. However, the food is lovely and really if that's all you care about, Felicity's is a great pit stop for a nice chinese. Drinks are reasonable too and, although not the cheapest restaurant in the area, I would strongly recommend it due to the high quality of food.

We were driving around looking for a takeaway, when we spotted Felicity (my name, so we had to try it). We found the staff very friendly and our order was ready in no time. We both agreed the food was the best Chinese we have ever had. Will definitely go back there next time we are in the area.

We don't get to Felicity's that often but when we do it's always a treat. The staff have always been really pleasant to us, remember us and are very friendly - even though it can be months between us going there. The food has always been good, but lately we feel that they've improved it even more and everyone in the group was really impressed. I know that the decor isn't modern and could perhaps do with updating, but we went for good food and good company and Felicity's delivered. We've been asked before, when it's the all-you-can-eat night, not to order too much - to order a dish for everyone for a start and then order more bits and pieces if we want to. I didn't have a problem with this at all as I hate waste. I think that the lady is just being practical and trying to stop people ordering everything off the menu and then leaving it. She's a lovely lady - give her a chance - I think that sometimes the slight language barrier can mean that intentions are misinterpreted.Overall I would recommend Felicitys highly for the food. It would be lovely if it got a makeover, but I'm sure that they're feeling the pinch as much as many of the rest of us.

I use this restaurant regularly but never again. The food is always great; hot, fresh and tasty but the customer service was absolutely abysmal on the time that I went on this specific occasion.We ordered the starter from the all you can eat menu and finished everything; it tasted great so we decided to go for the same starter again. I asked for the same dish again but without the prawn toast as we didn't fancy any more of it. The waitress stated in these words, "you tell me exactly what you want because if you waste I charge you double because you waste last time". I can state, categorically, that we left only bones on the spare ribs from the starter. I felt that this was terribly rude and unnecessary, primarily because we left nothing. In the past we have had terrible service where the waiter was rather rude to my group because he didn't understand the menu item but we overlooked this.I've always gave a good tip because this restaurant, does indeed, provides great food however I don't expect to be told I will be charged additionally, specifically double, for ordering another item from the all you can eat menu when we finished everything from the last dish.The staff seem grumpy when ordering food and frankly do not deserve my money. They are very rude and do not seem to have any patience for new comers. If you want great food, then sure come here but if you want an all around good experience where you want to bring your family or a partner then go somewhere else where they seem to welcome your custom. Absolutely terrible service.

When visiting felicitys i was shouted at by the waitress for trying to order more starters, on an eat as much as you like buffet. She made me feel very umcomfortable! The customer service was appalling. I was also charged £1.80 for a glass of tap water and the food wasnt the best wont be returning.

We went to Felicitys for the first time and based our visit on its 4/5 food hygiene rating. I have to say that the place is very untidy and it was not what I expected.The food was average and there was nothing to bring you back. The manager had a filthy apron when serving us and I did not see anything that would warrant a 4/5 hygiene rating.All told I would not bother going here again.

I often go to Felicity, yes partly because it is the only Chinese restaurant in Flitwick but also because I genuinely enjoy the food they serve. The last couple of times I have visited the food has actually stepped up a gear with my most recent visit being last week. I read some reviews saying the staff are a bit rude but to be honest I think they are just a tad reserved and once they recognise you they are really nice people. It isn't a very glamorous restaurant and yes it could do with a lick of paint, but to be honest, when I go to a restaurant I would rather let the food do the talking. Will happily visit again as Felicity is as good if not better than any other Chinese restaurants I have visited in the general area.

Have eaten here on one occasion and had a couple of takeaways the food is pretty average but is the best Chinese I have tasted in Flitwick. Service is not very good and they don't have any draught beer/lager it's all in cans and NOT cheap in need of decoration and needs to feel more like a restaurant rather than a hall.

just has a takeaway. The meat was plentiful but processed and could have been chicken. ..could have been quorn.The sauce was watery and sugary! In a curry! The chicken chow mein was without chicken and the rice was too dry. Far too expensive for a dish that was a questionable Chinese.

Have been going for a while but recently the food has not been as good and the service was also lacking.

Really dated feeling to the restaurant. Staff were to the point, neither rude nor friendly. It wasn't the fastest service I have seen, and for the price I wasn't that impressed by what I received unfortunately. I have friends who really recommend it though, and it was fairly busy, so maybe I went on a bad night, but I don't intend on returning anytime soon to find out.

Tried the 3rd Chinese in Flitwick and this was the best takeaway yet. All tasted fresh and very reasonable price. Free delivery. Will be our first choice in future.

Recently rediscovered this Chinese having not been impressed before (this MANY years ago). It's got so, so much better and is my go to place.In particular, they are very good for vegetarians. The Deep Fried Bean Curd in Spicy Salt & Chilli is great, as is Vegetarian ‘Ma Po’ Bean Curd Szechuan Style. I really like their black bean sauce with chilli too. Thai curries are good, but quite eye-watering. It's also tremendous value. I recently had a takeaway for four which cost me £18.

A great little restaurant for a good feed! The owners are very friendly and hard working and always attentive. They encourage you only to Oder what you can eat because its all cooked to order (not buffet) which is great, but they'll happily cook for you all night long as long as you're not wasting it! Highly recommended
