I ate the chicken and was delicious.

[ENG] I went to Feijão do Luís as soon as I arrived in London, and his feijoada is absolutely delicious. It's that kind of tasty home-cooked meal you can only find in Brazil. Luís gave me a very warm welcome, even though it was a really busy day. Claudete, who was helping with the dishes, was also incredibly friendly. We had a lovely chat afterwards, and it was wonderful to experience a bit of Brazilian hospitality. If you're missing Brazil, this is the perfect place to come. I'll be back soon to try the famous carne de panela and stroganoff. -- [ENG] I went to Feijão do Luís as soon as I arrived in London, and his feijoada is delicious. It's that dish of delicious homemade food that you only find in Brazil. I was very well received by Luís, even on a very busy day. Claudete, who was helping to assemble the dishes on the day, was super friendly too. We talked for a long time after that, and I was able to satisfy some of my longing for Brazilian hospitality. If you miss Brazil, this is the right place to come. I'll be back soon to try the famous beef and stroganoff.

Best Brazilian food in London for a great price.

Quality Brazilian food, feijoada (light version, only with short ribs and sausage) well served and with a homemade taste. It saved my hunger after days of eating only sandwiches and hamburgers!

Such good food in a hidden place! The service was great and the food was so well prepared and true to the good Brazilian cuisine that it surprised me. The atmosphere of the place is very underground, which might be a good or a bad thing, up to you. I brought a few colleagues from work with me and they loved it! World recommend

Terrible, I went there today, and it doesn't match the advertised images. The food had no flavor and the place didn't even have heating, a terrible experience and not worth the money.

Lovely place, really recommended. I had a feijoada, for 18 pounds. Very friendly, if you want to speak Portuguese, this is your place. Authentic, lovely food and service. The window was opened so could be cold for some. I stayed with my jacket as it was worth it. Brazilian music background, just the right volume. Just try it and see by yourself! (I'm gluten free).

Wonderful and very Brazilian shirt, in the middle of the chaos in the center of London there is this very Brazilian and wonderful corner.

The food was very good. But what doesn't allow me to give it 5 stars is the fact that there was very little food (and I'm not a big eater) and I thought the price was quite high. What saved it was the service and the food was still good.

It is closed, they have shut and didn't have anything stating that. Wasted trip

O atendimento do Luís e da equipe é maravilhoso, quando chegamos já somos recebidos pelo maravilhoso cheiro de comida brasileira. Entre coxinha, carne de panela e brigadeiro eu saí de lá satisfeito e consegui matar um pouco da saudade do tempero do Brasil. A decoração é linda, vale muito a pena passar por lá, sempre que vinher a Londres visitarei o Feijão do Luís.

Fui ao feijão do Luiz e definitivamente não volto e não recomendo a ninguém, pedi um frango a parmegiana e adicionais de purê de batata e feijão tropeiro. O frango tinha gosto de requentado no microondas assim como o feijão, o purê de batatas tinha vários pedaços enormes de batata porque não havia sido amassado direito. A sensação de sair de um restaurante com fome porque a comida estava pessima é terrível. Definitivamente não recomendo

100% reccomend this place when seeking a delicious hearty and filling feijão. Forget the lure of an all you can eat preto franchise in London and instead experience the non-assuming and non-descript but hard hitting and flavourful feijoada from Seu Luis. Start off with a couple of mouthwatering Coxinha de frango with a side of chilli if extra hungry and wanting that spice kick, plenty of mains (preto) to choose from, washing it down with Guarana. One will not ever regret coming here as I know I will be back here to try their other mains.

Tucked away out of sight on top of a vapehut shop with no store front of its own, this is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it opportunity to enjoy a decent meal in Oxford Street. A cosy place that caters to the Brazilian community (so much so that they'll greet you in Portuguese when you enter), you'll find traditional meals and snacks. Included on the menu are feijoada (the traditional stew made from several different meats and black beans, served with rice and all the traditional accompaniments), delicious and supersized coxinha do frango (delicious chicken croquettes), and (my personal favourite) the chewy pao de quiejo, traditional cheese bread. Everything was deliciously, served quickly and filling. The service is prompt and friendly, with a casual atmosphere, so you can be in and out and back to bagging bargains in less than 45mins, with a bellyful of delicious brazilian food to fuel you.

Probably one of the best Brazilian Feijoadas in London! Even though it is quite hidden above a classic touristy shop, the food is genuinely good and well worth a visit. The service is very informal, which is marginally okay for me as a Brazilian (as it is inspired by the traditional butecos), but may be a bit unusual for other people. The informality also extends to cleaning as my table was dirty (again, marginally okay for me but may not be the same for others).

I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant by chance when I saw the Brazilian flag on the window. Although it was a bit tricky to find, tucked away in a small shop on Oxford Street and accessed by stairs to second floor, it was well worth the effort. The restaurant is very cosy and humble, all the staff members including owner were friendly and attentive. The portions are generous and the flavors are outstanding. I particularly enjoyed Feijoada and it was the best Coxinha I've had in London. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back again. It's a great spot for anyone looking for an authentic Brazilian dining experience in the heart of the city.

Estava em intercâmbio em Londres em 2022 procurando um lugar para matar a saudade de casa, subindo as escadas já estava “emocionada” até que dei de cara com o proprietário e a apresentação não foi tão amistosa. O sr. Luís pareceu estar indiferentes com quem chegava, até pareceu que a minha presença estava incomodava… mas como, se eu era cliente ou possivelmente um cliente? Perguntei se podia sentar em qualquer lugar para quebrar o gelo ele respondeu “não né meu amor”. Que forma rude de responder um cliente, hein? Que deboche e ironia sem necessidade. Fiquei parada até que ele arrumasse uma mesa pra mim e a vontade era de ir embora aumentando, mas fiquei, afinal não conhecia, até então, outro lugar com comida brasileira em Londres. A comida é boa, não tenho do que reclamar em relação a sabor entrega o que promete, o único problema que vi foi o atendimento. Não gostei. A decoração também é bonita, a localização é favorável. Não é um lugar ruim, não é uma comida sem sabor nem nada disso… É só o atendimento mesmo. Não gostei, não me senti bem. Porem notei que o tratamento não era assim com todos que estavam ali, o sr era simpático com outros clientes, puxava assunto, ouvia histórias… acho que a cara de estudante faz pensar que “aquele não é o nosso lugar.

Falando dos salgadinhos não dá pra aproveitar nenhum… são aquecidos no microondas então ficam moles e pra completar são bem caros

Very small but bust place tucked away at the top of a shop in Oxford Street. The Feijoada was good but every restaurant makes it in such a different way that is difficult to say what is a great feijoada. The owner was nice and accommodating.

COMIDA BRASILEIRA DE VERDADE! Todos os pratos estavam muito saborosos e vieram bem servidos. Amei o lugar e o atendimento. Achar esse restaurante fez meu dia mais feliz, estava com muita saudade de comer comida brasileira de verdade.

Initially struggled to find the location of the place - you need to go into the money exchange shop and then go up the stairs. The owner was so friendly and welcoming and as someone who has little to no knowledge of Brazilian food, he explained to us the menu and recommended some dishes for us to try. Food and drinks were absolutely fantastic and the portion sizes are very generous. I couldn't believe how cheap the food was with such amazing quality. Highly recommend this place!

Tasty feijoada, good portion size and price as expected for a decent meal in London (12£). If you like spicy, request the homemade pepper oil. Luis is a darling and will definitely spare some time to chat if the restaurant is not busy Only negative point is that it is not super easy to find the entrance to the place - you'll spot the Brazilian flag but which door to take to the 1st floor will take some asking around

Ontem fui almoçar no restaurante com o meu marido. Pedi uma Feijoada Vegana pra mim e nela tinha simplesmente um pedaço de plástico de 1,5cm que infelizmente eu só percebi enquanto estava mastigando. Fui mostrar para o dono do estabelecimento ele me disse que era é um pedaço de Tupperware onde eles armazenam a comida e me pediu desculpas mas foi só isso mesmo. Completamente anti-higiênico! Deu a sessão que não é a primeira vez que isso aconteceu la. E vai saber quanto tempo a comida fica no pote e onde fica. Fora que ainda no final o estabelecimento não me deu desconto, nem nada… Me fez pagar pelo meu almoço com plástico. Nunca tinha passado por isso na vida. Não volto mais lá e quem for para esse restaurante saiba que corre o risco de comer plástico.

This was a very special experience, with hearty Brazilian food and a very warm welcome. Hidden up a staircase inside a Money Exchange shop on Oxford Street, Luis and his staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Everything we tried was full of flavour. I loved the homemade passion fruit juice. This is the sort of restaurant that reminds me how much I love London!

Brilliant Brazilian food tucked away on Oxford Street. Found the place through the Instagram page Caffs Not Cafes, as had another customer before me. The owner was patient and enthusiastic about his menu, and walked me through each item and gave me a little history on them. The interior is old school and has old photos of Brazil and Brazilian footballers. The food was fantastic. Try the Coxinha and add their jarred chillis on. Great flavours and even better service.

regrettably forgot to photograph the pudim but it was absolutely stellar. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming we had a lovely time. A hidden gem for marvellous brazilian food just a minute off of Tottenham Court Road. We had the feijoada and the carne de panella, clean plates from both of us. The passion fruit juice also deserves a shout. Being in london means that visiting Feijao do Luis is a must and so is meeting the lovely Luis in person! Will definitely come back soon！Muito Obrigada!
