perfect place for a coffee to start the day, no matter what time your day starts, they have a selection of light bites but it is the coffee that's the main thing, they also sell bags of different varieties to take away ground or beans. all coronavirus safety checks were in place plenty of space and felt secure

My friend and I went here recently before the cinema and had wanted to go here for ages so were pleased when we got a table and a decent one outside. I hadn’t planned to eat but had to when I heard of espresso soaked banana bread on the menu! My friend had smashed avo on toast and it looked delicious and mine was amazing - I can still taste how incredible it was! The coffee was great and the service friendly and efficient. Can’t wait to return!

As the title suggests, this was the best coffee I’ve possibly drank in my time in London, it was sweet creamy and delicious. I also had a toasted cheese and ham croissant and the smashed avocado toast. Both were tasty and very reasonably priced. If there was some Tabasco sauce on the table for the avo that would’ve been the perfect meal!

My knee sometimes just gives way , i get shooting pains . I stopped for a short time to have a coffee here to sit down for a second and wanted the coffee in a takeaway cup as I wouldn’t be staying long but instead I was met with you can’t do that and we will give it in a cup or you have it for takeaway even though I offered to pay any cover charge for having coffee in the shop . The problem with gentrified places like this is that they don’t use their common sense or any compassion to ask. Simply they are saving the environment with my one cup but don’t see they the very problem with polluting the seas. They should get off their high horse and see the person they have in front of them. Pretty limited with coffee shops in the village so just go around the corner to Caya better coffee and better SERVICE!

Staff are friendly. But music played so ear splittingly loud that it's impossible to talk - or think. Seems to be pitched at MacBook warriors sitting in corner who don't talk but want music loud. There are lots of better alternatives so best avoided. A few tables inside for the din but can sit outside if you like the cold until spring.

I go there very often for breakfast/brunch! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good teas and coffee and very tasty food! The almond croissants in particular are divine!! Very flaky and crispy, with a melting filling inside.... I keep coming back for them! I've also tried their banana bread, carrot cake and cheese toasties, everything so far has been delicious! Service can be a bit slow at times, but acceptable as they're very busy. Arrive there early to get a table and almond croissants (they tend to be sold out early!)

Nice atmosphere in this compact little cafe within the Brixton Village Market. In addition to seating inside, the outside of the shop (within the confines of the market itself) is surrounded by tables and chairs and I didn't have to wait very long with my group of 6 to find a table inside. I had an iced black coffee which was just what I needed at the time. Disappointingly there were no vegan sandwich options at the time and opted for a cheese toasty as I'm vegetarian but try to go for vegan options when possible. The coffee and sandwich was nice, the service was pretty quick especially given it was a busy Saturday afternoon, and the music & atmosphere was lively.
