Two bits of brown toast for £5.25 what a rip off. Not even hand cut bread just cheap economy bread and served as photo. Come on you can do better than this at least do thick cut bread and nice jam. Sounded lovely on menu board was not expecting this

We ate both breakfast and lunch there since it was close to the hop on hop off bus stop and the Titanic Boat Tours. Pancake and bacon for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch. Staff were very nice. Was looking forward to sampling a nice Ulster fry, and whilst it was nice enough, it was far too small and dainty. A single sausage, rasher, mushroom, fried egg, black pud, half a tomato, and a bit of soda bread. I could have easily eaten another, but didn't have time (I'm not a fatty either!)

Dropped in for a late breakfast. Sandwiches and cakes looked good but then foolishly opted for the cooked breakfast (Ulster fry). The advertised white pudding was omitted which is strange because I'd read the same in an earlier review. I'm not sure if the cook is aware that an Irish breakfast without white pudding is, in fact, an English breakfast and therefore in breach of trades descriptions! Moving on...black pudding cremated (only on one side) to (literally) charcoal, dried out sausage 'set' soft-fried egg... just very poor considering there were half a dozen people running the place and the same number of customers. I hope the owners of this stylish looking chain can up their game and preserve the jobs of their staff or at least the the (bearded) male server who appears to be running the whole place. Sorry to go on but the establishment publishes a wifi password which was declared 'inncorrect' 7 times across 3 different devices...annoying.

My partner and I fancied a coffee during our visit to the tall ships today and went into Fed & Watered. I'm a collector of Harland and Wolff/ White Star line memorabilia so I went into the shop linked to the cafe before getting our coffee. After having a look through the items, I came across an item of interest but it wasn't priced. I asked a female member of staff if it was for sale and was shocked at her response. After being asked if the item was for sale, she replied "yeah..... but it's eighty quid".I have spent a lot more than £80 on items within my collection and in actual fact, I would have had no problem what so ever with spending £80 on this particular item. I was offended that she felt the need to state the price in a manner which posed the assumption that I could not afford it/ would have been deterred by the cost. After this I asked if some Harland and Wolff cheques were for sale because they also did not have a price attached. She replied with a blunt attitude, said "yeah" and turned away. I then had to ask how much they were and she replied "three quid", and again turned away for the second time. Her attitude completely put me off the other items on sale and also the coffee we initially went in for. We will not be back due to this experience.

My business partner and I eat regularly at the fed and watered beside the big blue fish. It is always a pleasure. We often take our clients there for the full Irish breakfast and they have also enjoyed very positive experiences. The staff are very friendly and efficient and nothing is too much trouble. There is a great choice of food available and veggies are well catered for. I very much like the choice of dining options with a good mix of relaxed seating and the more traditional table and chair , my personal favourite or that or my iffy back ! Good weather allows you to eat outside in a sheltered area and watch the world go by as you eat which is a pleasure in this bustling tourist area. The restaurant and facilities are always very clean and despite the volume of patrons always has a relaxed ambience. The soups in particular are always varied, very tasty and much appreciated on cooler days and the sinful, scrumptious , ever beckoning homemade shortbread is not to be missed , except by your hips. We really love this place and would never go past it when in the area and we look forward to many more visits to come in the future.

I am in Fed and Watered every other day. Food is delicious, staff are pleasant and there is always a nice atmosphere in the place. A few minor suggestions for improvement: although i understand that the quality of food is high, the price verges extortion sometimes. for example, paninis are over five pounds. Also, sandwiches are decent, but are stored in a fridge; i feel a fresh deli counter would be a massive improvement. Apart from this, i would recommend anyone to go there for lunch. it is in a lovely location in belfast and i am sure you wouldn't leave feeling unsatisfied!

Cooked to perfection and served by the most amazing staff who could not have been more helpful. Now, to treat ourselves we got a cookie, a "fifteen" and a beautiful appley, custard flakey pasty with sliced almonds on top (the name of which escaped me at the moment). the best part is we had our 15 month son with us and manouvering the pram around was no problem at all.the food was out of this world, and the service was even better! my mum has already said to me about going next week and we will most certainly be back! cannot reccomend highly enough!

My wife and i went here for Breakfast. We had never heard of this place until we were offered a deal on groupon. I expected a pokey wee dump of a place at the docks but was delighted to find an Ultra Modern cafe near "The Big Fish". On entry we sat at a table and after a few minutes wondered why the staff had been ignoring us and i thought the worst. She then nodded for us to come up to the counter and place our order. The two girls behind the counter could not have been more friendly and helpful and gave us a buzzer which when sounded indicated that we should return to collect our breakfast at the main counter. We did not have to do so as the waitress kindly brought both our frys to the table but the idea behind it is a good and one i have never come across before. The fry itself was excellent and freshly prepared in no time at all with plenty of bread and a top up of our pots of tea was offered. We both came out fully satisfied with our breakfast and will definately return when in the Area. It was nice to be served by such well mannered and pleasant staff.

We eat breakfast here a lot. The eggs are great! Nice quiet venue and a little titanic souvenir shop joined to it.Lovely. We will go back . :)

Volvere.

Service was ok, we sat outside and you can order through the phone. We both had a steak, I clicked the 'rare' option and my friend 'medium rare'. They were both more than well done, very dry. The beer smelled like wet dog for some reason. Onion rings and chips were nice tho. The table was also really gross, we were sitting outside but these tables looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks.

Went for a morning coffee in district this weekend, terrible experience. The girl making the coffee was exceptionally rude from the beginning - ordered us to stand at the till when we accidentally stood by the coffee machine. No hello / please etc basic manners. Have to collect your own coffee even when you are sitting in - which is left to be collected beside other dirty cups and dishes because no staff were lifting dirty items from any customers tables they then had to leave them back themselves, really quite lazy and unhygienic. The toilets in the cafe look like they have never been cleaned, blood and dirt and toilet roll all over the place absolutely disgraceful. Will not be back

This place has gone done hill terribly, the food used to be reliably good but i wouldn't recommend it anymore. There are a lot of better places to eat in Belfast at a similar price range.
