Always great food lovely fresh fish and chips today served up by friendly staff. Axel always pleasant and brought the food out promptly and with a smile. Great service!!

Not a great service from the start to be honest! Asked the barman for a cocktail got tutted at then told it was not in stock! Which is fine but no need to tut! Was not shown to our table just told where to Go. Ordered our food to be told a delay on food again this was fine we were in no rush. Recieved our food, we asked for extra potatoes and gravy were told this was fine (we were having roasts) our roast dinners were cold!the meat was like rubber Barely any veg on a meal that costs £15 broccoli was raw not even cooked! When I chased up the extra gravy and potatoes I was advised we should have ordered extra at the start (not something we were told) meal stated unlimited potatoes Yorkshire and gravy! I managed to speak with the manager who said he would look into it and come back to us which he did slammed my full refund on the table and said sorry about that and walked off! As much as I appreciated the full refund they way it was handled was terrible! We will not be returning!

This is not a place I would have considered for a cream tea but a friend booked us in as a birthday treat and we were blown away by the great quality and delicious food! I would seriously recommend it. Great service from Axel and Pav, great food by chefs Ricky and Kirsty and generous amounts of yumminess 😊

Went there for my birthday with family, the barman who served us was great, friendly and helpful. However was disappointed with the attitude of the manager (I assume he was the manager) we all got our food but my daughter didn't. I hold my hands up to this in some part, I forgot to order her food but we ordered within 2 minutes of realisingt this. We all finished our food and still my daughter hadn't received her food, we asked where it was, to only be told another 10-15 minutes. Surely as they would have realised that the food needed to come at the same time. No apology given, just took off her order paid and left. Food was pretty OK, but with a manager like that we won't be going back in a hurry.

The food is always really good the only thing that I would note would be to have more non-alcoholic wines especially rose and strawberry and lime cider, The bar staff Axel and Igee are always friendly and attentive and the chefs Kirsty and Ricky always produce good food.

Consistently great service from Axel and Dan. Fabulous food from Ramona in the kitchen. Highly recommend Fish and Chips, sausage and mash and Mushroom Wellington. Great atmosphere for children too. They always make us very welcome

Having booked a holiday home nearby and being in a pub in UK for the first time in my live I felt happy to find friendly staff that helped me to get food and drinks. We enjoyed the nice atmosphere and can recommend this place. The food was excellent and we will for sure go there again before we have to get back home. Special thanks to Lenny who took care for us and made sure that we enjoyed the evening. Herdi and Kirsty were further colleagues and they all made it to the great evening it was. Thank you!

Haven't stayed there, but eaten a few times. Food is excellent, chef Romana cooks the perfect Rib Eye steak, but all the chefs are very good. Sunday lunch a fav of course. Daniel is a warm and welcoming manager and outstanding service from servers like Iza make this a No 1 choice in the area. Tremendous atmosphere (loud but friendly!) watching England v Switzerland. All round great pub.

Stopped jn for a quick bite after a day if shopping the food was superb. Service was quick with a big smile. Bathrooms smelt fresh and we're clean and there was loads of toilet paper. I would definitely recommend.

Beware: Brands on Just Eat - K-Town Chicken, Locked ‘n’ Loaded, Sin City Burgers, 88th Street Burgers and Chik Box - all claim to operate from this location. All appear to use fictitious reviewers - Pawel, Joel, Paul, Lorna, etc. This has been reported, but please be cautious. Real customer reviews paint a very different picture to Pawel et al who, like clockwork, post 5 stars every few weeks without comment. Really hope this has nothing to do with The Feathers. Update: Food Standards Authority says it is the Feathers operating these brands.

The pub greatly benefits from being the only half decent pub in the area but does not take full advantage of it's position. The Feathers is NOT a hotel, that side of the business stopped some time ago, it's a pub that's sells food and drink, provides the occasional live band entertainment/karaoke, has outside seating (front & rear) with parking at the back too. It's resently installed a large Monitor in the rear garden to cater the Euro's football, with additional large monitors inside for those that want to watch the footie.

Visited with family for fathers day. They were busy so there was a bit of a wait for food but they kept us informed. They gave us a timescale, kept to it and looked after us while we waited. Special thanks to Lenny who looked after us and was very friendly and entertaining.

Went for pub food on a Friday lunch, was really yummy and Axel and Dan were fabulous. Great food, quiet. Recommend the spicy chicken burger.

Took my 11 month old nephew out to lunch with his mum and nan. The service given by Axel was superb, very friendly and helpful. The pub was very spacious, the rooms and tables comfortable and the music playing was just at the right volume. The food was excellent, very tasty and generous portions. Compliments to the chefs Conan and Harley. Would definitely go again

Came here after a hike with family, the service was exceptional. Lenny is the most caring, handsome and engaging, gave us all great tips for local and national site-seeing across the UK. The beer was amazing and We're told the food is amazing - we'll try it on our next visit. Connah, Ben and Jack were also amazing too!

Lovely old pub, near to monument claiming to be the site of the World's first public railway. I enjoyed a fishcake, which came very quickly.

Booked a table for 18 of us on Friday night. The bar staff were incredible and every single meal was lovely. Special mention to George & Kirsty in the kitchen. The food came out together, hot and perfectly cooked. Had a great night and would highly recommend xx

Best food i’ve ever had from a pub in a long time!

On our walking tour along the North Downs Way we made a stop for Sunday Roast at the Feathers. Axel, Iza and Cohan (hope I got the names right...): thank you! So friendly, so good and tasty, nice and strong coffee...And we loved the jazzy music! /Karin, Hanna, Pernilla from Uppsala, Sweden

Came in today after visiting family in the area and got a warm welcome from the team. Definitely Dan and Huw. We also ordered food and was really good and Kirsty the chef came out and even asked how our food was what was extra nice and unaccepted would definitely be back

Came to the feathers to watch MU vs Arsenal. It was a good amtosphere with great service from bar staff: Lenny, Herdi and Iza. With special mention of George, Conah and course Kirsty in the kitchen. 10/10

Came with a few family and friends to the Feathers on Friday night for a 30th and what a great time we had. Playlist was on point and all the staff were great - Lenny and Connor were specifically brilliant.

By chance we came across the garden of this cozy restaurant. Axel was super friendly. There was a special children's menu for the children. We had a delicious meal.

A truly great pub with lovely staff and even better punters, fully stocked bar with a great chef, very nice large dining room/function room, great menu good disabled entrance and disabled toilet/ baby change. Wide screen tv that shows most of the games. Dan the landlord and Em his wife are very nice people that with the staff will make you feel very welcome. Great pub to have a drink in and watch the football. Or the dinning room is perfect for a big family Sunday lunch then in the evening the function room is perfect for wedding party’s, birthdays, adversaries, wakes, work doo’s. Large sheltered garden. 5 minute drive from Redhill’s main line station. Best Guinness I have found outside of Dublin. Came here with friends for an evening drink, ordered special sharer and truffle tiger fries. Very good food and presented well... A-class truffle fries, would recommend. Axel was our server at the bar and was very personable and more than happy to help out!

It was my first time visiting the UK, and WOW! I stumbled across Feathers Pub by accident, and safe to say that was the best accident of my life! The food made by Kirsty was fenomenal! I didn't know lamb could have such an amazing flavor! The service was amazing as well! Pav and Igee and Dan all helped me out around the Pub, creating such a wonderful atmosphere for a newcomer like myself. If you're ever visiting Merstham, make sure to add Feathers Redhill to your activity list. You'll have a blast!

Came here for a karaoke night and it was absolutely fantastic, was so eventful! Had the pleasure to meet their fantastic new general manager Daniel who was amazing and very kind. The bar staff were incredible and Axel in particular is a standout! Whilst here I had a delicious steak with a beautiful accompaniment of sides. Extremely well cooked, seasoned and presented by their chef who I believe is called Ramona.

I found the feathers staff very helpful and polite. We were served by a server called axel she was very curtious and helpful her attitude was very helpful and polite. The food was beyond amazing and if I had any questions remona the chef she would come out and explain any questions I was unsure about. The bar staff were also very nice and curtious as I am a diabetic and can not have sugary drinks and suggested an alternative. I would personally recommend the feathers to anyone who have children due to the atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant.

5 stars to Kirsty for preparing our delicious food and paying so much attention to presentation- even my bowl of chips look so fancy! All staff is so attentive and friendly, a special shout out goes to Dan & Pawel- excellent customer service from these two legends - we’ll be back :)

Fairly quiet when we went in but a great pub

Me and my partner, plus our dog Bruce visited The Feathers for the first time last week. My first impressions was it is very spacious, well looked after and nice decor, which gave it a homely and relaxing feel. We instantly felt welcomed by the friendly bar staff and our dog Bruce also had a nice welcome, with lots of cuddles. We decided to have a Sunday roast dinner and it was the best decision, as it was so delicious. 5 stars, to the chief! We look forward to returning soon to enjoy another roast dinner.

Absolutely fantastic service from Lenny and Connor, a great pub with plenty of space and they keep the beer very well. It's close to the station and gas a great garden for when the suns out.

We are house hunting in the area and wanted to what amenities there is we saw the feathers and thought we would see what it's like, the pub was really lovely and welcoming we ordered some food which was excellent good portions and cooked brilliantly I'm glad we met the chef when she came for a drink her name was kirsty and we told her we think her food is top marks,overall the pub was excellent and more and will definitely be back when we move in the area .

We live across from the feathers pub and regularly visit for dinner as a family or with friends. Everyone in my family loves the food - the chef Ramona - is the best they have had at the Feathers and we have been visiting for a while! She has really improved the menu. Also the staff are very friendly and the pub itself is very cosy yet with plenty of space. I highly recommend the food which is fresh, well prepared and the menu offers a good variety so even with fussy children!

Been here a few times as its round the corner from my aunts house , must say definitely an improvement from the last time I visited, I'm terrible at remembering to leave reviews but felt I had to as the improvement really stood out, the food was amazing, the service was quick, the staff were really friendly , even managed to thank the chef I'm sure her name was kirsty , apologies if i got it wrong, will definitely visit again when next at my aunts , I'm glad I gave it another try as did say last time I would not go back, but so glad I did , can't leave a review on the hotel as did not stay

Banging Sunday roast Only popped in here as on a day trip with the other half (got to tick the boxes lol) And got to say they helped me tick them it's been a while since I have been here By the looks of what I was seeing the pub has had a change of management and back area had a brief conversation with 1 of the barman explaining how much the pub seems to has changed and how lovely the Sunday roast was then this lovely lady come out who is the new kitchen manager think her name was Kirsty or kerry but I did tell her how lovely her roast was could tell she liked being told how much its improved and thanked me for my feed back Well done you all I know now where I am taking the other half when I got to tick that box Oh and the Guinness was the best I have had in a while Good price for an exceptional roast and service 👌 See you guys soon

I was invited for a Friends birthday lunch and I must say, superb customer service and lovely food. I had the pleasure of meeting the Chef (Kirsty) who was a breath of fresh air and Also The manager Dan who was very welcoming. I will be returning in the near future.

Stumbled upon this belter last week, Kirsty's got them kitchen skills top-notch, whipping up some proper tasty scran. Unbelievable, I tell ya. And Dan & Pav are absolute legends with the Guinness. It's a proper gem, this place. Seriously good vibes, like. If you're about, gotta check it out!

I recently revisited The Feathers after a long absence, and I must say, the food has improved significantly. I think they've changed kitchen manager, as I had the pleasure of meeting Kirtsy, a lovely girl who really knows her stuff. Daniel and Pavel provided excellent customer service, with great enthusiasm and creating a brilliant atmosphere. My husband and I felt truly welcome. We'll definitely be back, and I'll be recommending all my friends to do the same!

We went in on a Friday for fish and chips around 6 p.m. but was told they were sold out. Not well organised for a Friday night as fish and chips are very popular on that day. Staff was friendly, pub was very noisy and we left spent our money in the local Weatherspoons.

I contacted The Feathers Pub to see if they could accomodate 40 of us for my son's baptism celebrations and I'm so pleased I did! I was originally sceptical as emails were initially intermittent and reviews aren't particularly great, but we were given a nice, private space at the back and staff were very friendly. I was given the option of mixing different buffet menus and food arrived on time, despite a small kitchen and takeaway/restaurant orders also coming in. There was some confusion as food labels didn't come out straight away and desserts came out in the middle of savoury, but everything was quickly rectified and our guests all raved about the food and the atmosphere. Having a large screen, showing football also went down well. I would definitely book again for another event!

Food poisoning- gave me and three other people in my group food poisoning.

Booked a Table for 4 people. Meals came up for 2 people and still waiting 20 minutes later for the other two. I think it’s much better to eat at the same time if it is a social evening. This restaurant obviously doesn’t think that way.

Don't have rooms is a pub now that the business uses it as a traning pub for staff expensive and generally beer etc can be dodgy

20th Jan Shambolic I am stunned Ordered food Forty five minutes later checked on progress to be told another to wait due to staff shortages Pub was empty Worst pub food experience I have ever had. And no apology

Atrocious service. We ordered food, and 45 mins later we enquired where it was, only to be told the kitchen had no staff so we would have to wait another hour before they even started it. No update, no apology, no cares given. Absolutely unacceptable. This is after the barman got our order wrong then got snarky with us about it. Place has gone down hill dramatically. Avoid at all costs. I await the copy and paste response of "sorry you experienced this, please email... Etc" from the owner.

We had a family Christmas meal for 19 people in the function room and it was brilliant. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, everyone loved it.

I'm reviewing the pub and restaurant and NOT the hotel. I popped in here one Saturday evening to meet some friends to watch the football and have some dinner before moving on to the house party nearby. I was getting peckish, so eventually decided to get some food. I chose the bacon and cheese burger with fries (£13), but when I went to order at the bar they told me they were out of bacon...so I asked if they could put something else in it as a replacement or knock some money off of the bill, but they said neither was possible, which in my opinion isn't good enough to be honest. If you can't give me the full product that you're selling, then you have to knock some money off or give me a suitable replacement. I accepted and purchased it just as a cheese burger just so I could write this review! It was an average burger and chips at the end of the day, nothing to write home about, and I thought the drinks were a bit overpriced for where I was too. I also got told by one of my other friends who had been in there earlier that same day, that they didn't even have sausages for the bangers and mash on the menú...something which I find unacceptable especially on a busier weekend day! I'd actually give them 2 stars, but the staff were friendly and apologetic, so they just about get 3. It's worth a visit if ya wanna stop off for a quick drink, in my opinion, and that's about it.

Worse service ever in 20 years Avoid like the plague! Management asks for feedback now. Well, I send them feedback as soon as they asked directly. Did I get a reply or apologise no! How about 11 people who prebooked a table for a family Xmas get together and no staff to serve, no choice of food to serve and no management to come and sort out your mess. Cowboy service and we won’t ever be back.

Ordered a takeaway from here which took 2 hours (1 hour late) when I called and asked if it would be long, they were very dismissive and quite rude. Food arrived and was stone cold. Driver said that the food had been sat for an hour. I'm not too sure why they felt it was acceptable to send stone cold food that had been sat for an hour. Called to ask about this, the manager answered and they hung up. I'd like to add that I am always very polite towards staff, and was this time too. I called back and said, "I think you just hung up after I let you know about my cold food." And.. you guessed it.. the manager hung up again. Annoyed was an understatement. What terrible customer service!

I call into this place on my way home from work quite often. You have to pay to use the car park and you used to get a refund for the car parking off your bill but no longer. I paid for the parking as usual but they won't refund it anymore. Staff didn't give a toss. I won't be coming back. Beware, the car park uses ANPR so you'll get recorded as soon as you enter. Plenty of pubs nearby with free car parks.
