The service!!! had a horrible meal and asked to speak to a manager, they was far too busy to bother themselves to come over and talk to us 😠 there simple answer was just to refund the meals, why is it that this is ment to make it better ? I would prefer to pay for a good meal and leave happy, what can you say things normally follow from the top down and when you have senior staff that can't be bothered to speak to customers what hope have you.

Went in the week, Monday to Friday lunchtime they have a 3 course seniors menu for only £7.99. The menu has choice of a couple of starters, about 4 mains and 3 desserts. Portios are smaller (and cheaper) then the main menu but what great value.

Well we stayed at premier inn this time last year restaurant was being refurbished so had a complimentary carvery when re opened which was delicious and therefore ate there rest of week.bring forward 1year and my previous comments have come true it has not been looked after! Dirty and dust everywhere. Breakfast sausage so overcooked it was hard one end and the bubble and squeak was just mash and onions with no colour and tasted revoulting. Will not eat their again. Such a shame that a lovely friendly refurbished premier inn is let down by this restuarant

Nice staff especially the young lady. She is always interacting with all children and always make sure we have everything we need as well as everyone else. She tries to give the best experience for everyone visiting wacky warehouse. Nice friendly staff. Will recommend this place for young children.

Read poor reviews on trip advisor, but decided to have breakfast here so that we could firm our own opinions. Told on arriving that they were very busy and that the continental buffet would be replenished when they had time... I had to ask for cereal spoons as none left at the buffet. Then later, had to find my own cutlery for the hot food. It took about 45 minutes for someone to take our hot food order, but it did arrive about 15 minutes later (even if the food was not what any of us had asked for). Our food was ok, but we did hear several other people complaining, sending food back to the kitchen and even requesting a refund. Not impressed...

Billing aquadrome is a great location, the pub sits essentially in the lake. The building is one of those wonderful old buildings that the UK is blessed with. The Fayre and Square chain seem to have downsized of late which is probably the result of trying to go all fancy, they have gone back to their old business model, which is making them popular again. The parking is good and free. We enjoyed three great meals at very reasonable prices in this wonderful old pub. On the down side, the old bridge that you cross to park is worryingly rickety, the table was grubby and sticky due to not been cleaned and by the looks of the floor a baby had been flinging food everywhere, but the staff where helpful, attentive and happy to clear up, so overall a good experience

Arrived at 10.15am for a buffet breakfast, which we were informed the day before was being served until 11.30. As we walked in a member of staff came briskly towards us and asked us in an unfavourable attitude 'what do you want?' We told her we were here for the breakfast but she said it was finished and was now being put away because she had to get ready for the pub opening at 11.00am. And we don't allow dogs.' My dog is a fully qualified assistance dog, wearing his working coat and with me who needs walking aids. We turned and left. Very poor performance. Would not go back again. Attitude and discrimination!

We recently started going the The Quays at Billing Aquadrome as we have just recently purchased a holiday home there and, although it is convenient for us, quality and customer service is of the utmost importance to us. Firstly quality; the food is always hot and cooked to perfection, we have been going there since March of this year, and have never had a bad meal yet, secondly, customer service - it is obvious from the service we have always received, that Customer Service is most important to this establishment, namely one server stands out. Her name is Cas, every time we visit we always receive a warm and friendly greeting from all the staff, but Cas is exceptional, as she is always smiling, no matter how busy the restaurant, and always helpful and supportive, I am disabled and have problems walking, Cas is always there to help me to my table and is always keen to please and make sure we have a lovely evening. I would recommend this restaurant to any one, as it is one of the best examples of Customer Service I have seen in a very long time. Well done Cas, and to all who serve at Fayre and Square Billing Aquadrome - Mr and Mrs Galvin - 2/9/17

We go to Fayre and square as we live on the marina.. but yesterday Tuesday was the most awful meal ever... I had deep fried prawns... well they were the smallest prawns I've seen .. they were shrimps...and over cooked as the coating was hard...and the presentation was a bit of iceberg on a plate with the shrimp thrown on ... it's gone down hill the staff look like they can't be bothered.. except caz. Jenny and hilary... that place needs a cook that knows what they are doing... and a cleaner... we have offered to do it.. so in future it's the mill...the food a lot better in there..

Large family oriented pub adjacent to Billing Aquadrome. Mains were quick and hot. Massive queue for puddings only 2 people working behind bar took 20 minutes to order. No real ale on any of 5 pumps. Sat outside not enough staff to clear tables. It is what it is. Deck overlooking marina!

There is a nice fenced-in play area so you can let your children run about freely. The food is inexpensive, but nothing to write home about. Burgers can only be served well-done, so just expect that it's something like a fast food burger. Although the restaurant is low-budget, the staff were unexpectedly pleasant. To be honest, I probably wouldn't go again since my children are older and now capable of sitting through a meal.

I always like to be honest, but this was so bad I could not believe that the kitchen staff took any pride in their work. The restaurant overlooks a canal basin which could be a very pleasant place to eat. This was not. The restaurant needs redecoration. Tables and menus both really grubby. Food was lacking in taste and very tepid. We should have walked out, but after a long drive, just wanted a meal and to get some sleep. We will not be coming back.

A huge barn of a place that's tired, dirty and unloved. It's got a great location but it's just an old naff pub that sells rubbish cheap, deep fried, pub food to the chavs. The brewery owners should hang their heads in shame. Spend some money on celebrating this potentially great spot. You are short changing both yourselves and your customers. Shame on you.

I am surprised by some of the poor reviews. I visited earlier this week and found the staff very friendly , and the food well cooked, well presented , served with a smile and a clear willingness to make the meal enjoyable. Yes , it's part of a chain , and these often fall into a lesser category on reviews , but I ate here with other colleagues , and we were well happy. Last orders are at 10pm, and even eating this late was no bother to the staff who took good care of us. It also has a lovey setting, with a view over the lake and the house-boats moored there. A very relaxing setting if you need to unwind after a rushed day .

Just come home from this cold inviting pub. We ordered our food at the bar from a very accommodating member of staff. Things went wrong from the moment the food arrived. The girl was in such a hurry that she did not ask if we needed any further condiments. IE Mustard. Not enough napkins or forks. My wife went and asked a member of staff. She returned with just the mustard. We helped ourselves from an empty table to make up what we need. The only good thing about the thawed out pudding is that twenty pence from each one sold goes to Macmillan charity.

Be aware, learn from my mistake....I ordered our food at bar, the young man who served me appeared to be new but was very friendly and polite. I didn't take much notice of the amount, it seemed about right so I just swiped my card, took my receipt and returned to my table. Food arrived and was OK, young man came and checked all was well, which it was. Once home I glanced at my receipt only to discover I had been charged for a bottle of wine instead of the glass I had! The food was on offer so that's why the total seemed OK. I'm sure it was a genuine mistake but too late now I'm home to correct the error. So my advice is check your receipt before leaving!!! This oversight cost me £6

We went here twice whilst on holiday at billing aquadrome. The first time was a Monday at about 6pm and it was very busy however the food didn't take long to come at all and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was nice, hot and fresh. The children's meals were really good with a meal deal for £5 of a main meal, icecream and unlimited juice. On our second visit we all had puddings which were also really nice. Highly recommend the children's wraps (jacks wraps) my son loved this and there was plenty of it. :)

Sadly have to say that this pub was disappointing when we went for breakfast last weekend. They didn't have enough staff to clear tables, take orders, serve food and stock the breakfast buffet so we waited ages and ate very little. Please sort out staffing as the pub is in a good venue and we'd like to visit again sometime.

stayed at the premier inn with my partner, ordered food and service was quick with a smile, however my partner took a bite out of his "beef" burger and spat it out it was vile I wouldn't even feed it to my dog, took 15 minuets for someone to come to our table after asking 2 waitresses to be told there is nothing wrong with their burgers! The smile turned into a snotty manager who had no customer service skills and was quick to offer us our money back!

Absolutely horrible place. Now I understand that it is a Morrisons cafe so we really were not expecting high quality food and oh my gosh did we get a disappointment and a half. First of all we order on the machine which was fine we sat down with the number and then a staff member came over to us and told us to wait there he will come with our drinks, not even a mintue later another staff member came over and told us a completely different thing they told us to go get any drinks we want and do it our self’s, well we couldn’t do it ourselves because there was no cups. Next problem we ordered a meatball sub and then we were told they had non well first of all why is it still available on the machine if u don’t have it why offer it and then have to change what u want, they basically said you have to choose something from here but we can’t heat it up even tho what’s why we chose the meatball sub because it was a hot option. The food came and pretty much everything was cold except one dish. They forgot things on our order and didn’t even say sorry for not having things that we ordered. The tables were dirty and they just didn’t seem like they cared or knew what they were doing. DO NOT RECOMMEND to anyone even just for a drink !!!!

Upon arriving there weren’t many people in the restaurant. We ordered 2 portions of mac and cheese, a child’s chicken nuggets and chips and a cold sandwich. All the hot food was stone cold. I spent 10 minutes searching through the utensils pot to try and find a clean set. The hot drinks from the hot machine were cold and the mugs were dirty. The staff were rude and when giving them our dirty plates he slammed them down on the table and walked away. Overall, not worth it, never coming back
