Favourite Pizza in Worthing

Sorry but I found glass in my pizza when I took my first bite. I couldn’t eat much of it as I was worried I’d find more. I mean… GLASS!! Come on.

When this place originally opened they served the best pizza ever. The filling was creamy and full of flavour. Whenever we had relatives from Scotland visit, Favourite pizza was always requested. Unfortunately after many ownership changes the quality has crashed. Never again. I'll make cheese on toast instead, it'll be better than the rubbish we were sent last time we ordered.

rubbish,i rung the restaurant cos i never received my order and he hung up!! disgusted and we never got the order or refund back

Phoned to place order, very rude man, took the order read it back incorrectly, processed the order took payment, started being very aggressive, I said forget it I don’t want the pizza refund me, told me he wouldn’t took 40 pounds from my account no pizza, and refused to issue me a refund, my advice don’t order from here, such a shame as always used to go here for years Update, called last night again told no refund and put phone down on me, have to wait 15 days to see if they refund then bank will deal with it, I’m utterly shocked at their attitude, they don’t deserve any business at all the way they treat customers …avoid at all cost!

I placed an ordered Thursday and basically the whole order but one item was wrong. I spoke to a lovely lady that evening that explained she’s very sorry and would get a manager to call me Friday. I didn’t hear anything so just gave them a call and I was spoken to by either 1 or 2 different men so rudely! One told me if I’m not ordering food then to get off the phone, and also asked me if I was in a mental hospital! The other answered the phone saying ’hello Sussex police’ (probably new I was calling back) and firstly told me he was the manager, then said he can’t tell me who the manager is or who I was talking to and basically said I was a joke ect! I just said can someone take me seriously and process my refund (only £20 but it’s the principle) and he said by Sussex police and hung up the phone! Usually my favourite place to go for pizza (literally) but I’m disgusted by the way I was spoken too!

We decided to order a pizza deal with some sides after an evening out. We received an email confirmation that the order had been received and would be processed. We waiting an hour and then called to check if it was made. The man picked up the phone and said it was on it's way- Without even asking who made the order. We waiting another 20 mins and decided to call again and this time the line was busy. We kept trying to call again and again and it was just constantly busy. We decided we couldnt wait no longer and went to bed. Woke up the next day and found a miss call on the phone at 2am from a driver and found the food left in the porch. We are not impressed with this service at all! We tried to go to the shop the next day and it was closed even though it said opening time is 11am, as we wanted to get our money back. Absolutely Shocking!!!

Tried to order buy one get one free deal and was told it wasn't available even though its clearly on their menu and website. Sent wrong pizza and when I called to complain they were very rude and hung up. AVOID

S—-E! Used to be good for 30 years, but now run by a bunch of arrogant to—ers! These guys couldn’t organise a p—s up in a brewery!

It's the worst pizza I've ever eaten or seen, there was no bass the cheese wasn't cooked and not even over all the pizza. The employee was extremely rude and arrogant, he had dirty hands. The pizza was unedible. I would not recommend anyone eating there.

We had two pizzas last weekend and I'm afraid some of the other reviews are correct. They have for 20+years been my favourite and in my opinion best pizza takeaway in Worthing unfortunately over the years things have gone down and down. Gone are the crusts you used to get, toppings quality has changed and very worst the base is now just poor, a bog standard base that makes favourite pizza no better than any other takeaway in town. Sad but true. 😒

So tonight we decided we would have pizza from what has been our favourite pizza place for years….on ordering I realised they were in the process of being taken over, I was hoping it was still going to be the same??? Sadly it wasn’t the pizzas bases were undercooked, the Goat buster which has always had sun dried tomatoes, lots of spinach on had fresh tomatoes which was fine but hardly and spinach. They had stopped doing the cheesy garlic dough bread and only do this now as a 10inch pizza apparently, it wasn’t 10inchs and we couldn’t even taste the garlic it was just a cheesy Stodge. Sorry to say we won’t be using them again, they have a very high standard to bet and sadly they haven’t 😡

This company has clearly been sold to a bunch of amateurs that REALLY struggle with the English language. Placed an uncomplicated order at 17.15 for delivery at 18.30. The concept of pre ordering seems to be completely alien to these people. Order lost then arrived 45 minutes LATE (19.15) Order refused. These people are completely amateur compared to the previous ownership which was EXCELLENT DON’T BOTHER

I finally caught them open at lunch 12pm to 2pm, and I asked why they hadn't been open recently for lunch and their response was "we have", and I said, "No, you haven't"...that was that. I went back a last week again driving 20mins to get there as they were not answering the phone, and surprise surprise, they were closed again. I called them every day all last week and they didn't answer. They are missing out! I have an entire office full of staff that want Pizza for lunch and I've had to take them elsewhere. Favourite Pizza is the best and making Pizzas, but not the best at running a business unfortunately.

Was recommended this place recently. Tried the deep pan Margherita with extra tomato sauce. Was easily the best freshest dough I have eaten in years. Fairly priced at around £9 then then informed us it was by one get one free so had the thin crust vegetarian one. Also yummy. I want another one now. Great food and great value. I'll only order from here now

The menu states buy a burger get a 2nd for a pound so when i was charged full price for both i complained. I was told the offer was no longer on however it was still on all the menu's I complained to the owner who didn't want to listen to me and told me I was no longer welcome there, not a problem as would never go back. I even took a picture with a member of staff holding the menu (see bottom left)

I have been going to Favourite Pizza on and off for about 20 years.During that time it has changed hands a few times, the best was late 90's early 00's.It then went downhill but has started to come back to its best.I think it comes down to the dough and the quality of the toppings. Its worth them spending the extra for a better pizza.Its reasonably priced, i like the guys there.Just need more consistency with the dough and toppings.

It used to be good a long time ago but has gone downhill over the last ten years.the taste wasnt great, not much better than a frozen pizza.

Pizzas are without question my favourite food and last night I persuaded the rest of the family on a big visit to share pizzas. The quality of the toppings the taste and just to look at was fantastic. I have used many different pizza companies in Worthing but never will I bother using another one again after tasting this pizza. After spending a lot of time in Italy I know how they should be and this is the best. Fantastic

Don't use this place. Rude owner, when I ask what was the extra charge was. A change of one topping. Putting that to one side i found two hairs in my food

Good range of choice. Pizzas are freshly cooked and nice range on offer. Delivery can sometimes be a little slow - but worth the wait.

This little place is , without doubt, the best Pizza place in Worthing.. The Pizzas are always hot , with plenty of topping and taste great !!

Ordered my 12inch thin crust Margherita with ham and peppers at 10pm and in 30 min, Leo with a smile was knocking on my door with my pizza. Beautiful crunchy crust plenty of toppings I am happy .... thank you

Great service from this take out. Only ever collect as its more convenient. Can ring and collect normally within 15-20mins. Pizzas are always consistent and taste great. Luigi doing a great job in keeping the traditiions up at Favourite Pizza.

Great price and by far the best pizza in town. I usually have mine delivered and its always hot and yummy.

Took over an hour for food to arrive. Although the food was ok quality, part of the order was missing. Called them up to be told to either have my food or discount off next order. It took nearly an hour and a half for that part of the order to be delivered. Rest assured it was hot to touch, opened up the chicken wrap to find 4 small bits of chicken, 2 small pieces of rubbish unfresh lettuce and 2 bits of soggy tomato.

We have used these guys for years and have NEVER been disappointed.

This has got to be the best takeaway pizza in Worthing, no wonder they have been around for such a long time. Great tasting pizza and the special offer deals are very good

Was recommended this place by a friend so gave it a go. Ordered thin crust meat feast and poppin chicken. The pizza was very fresh tasting and the cheese used seemed better qulaity than most places. The poppin chicken was a massive portion and would go as far as saying its better than KFCs popcorn chicken. Highly recommend this pizza shop which is in the town, they offer a delivery service too and have good deals for collection or delivery
