These have genuinely got to be some of the best burgers I’ve had….ever!! Genuinely excellent quality, very tasty. Worth giving these guys a go, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed, I also think it’s good value for money.

Been eating here for 20 years, but last time I got food poisoning from here. I told my family and 2 weeks later they did aswell not sure what happened to this place this year but gone downhill.

First time customer recently and were very impressed. Once I got over 'cash only' the service was very good and the wait was explained and worth waiting! Mixed chicken/doner kebab for two was very tasty - hot, well flavoured and good portion size. Would definitely go back.

Salad was missing items not as advertised on the photos.

Pizza was OK, chips were cold and the garlic bread was just one squashed soggy lump. As for the delivery driver well what can say, one ignorant miserable lazy individual,couldn't be bothered to deliver my dreadful food, I had to go out looking for it. I was under the impression that I had paid for delivery. I shall not be bothering again Waste of money.

Been going here about 10yrs. Food is absolutely beautiful from kebabs to burgers it's all 10/10. Its very clean and tasty ALWAYS!!. most of all the staff are the best. very accommodating and friendly order is always spot on so is the food. Can't recommend anuff.

Food was just about eatable, not the best of kababs, meat was hard and pita bread on top was rock hard, chip were good needed more cheese underneath

It’s ruined my overpriced £40 kebab. I will never ever order from them again, it’s double price some kebab shops in Chelmsford & they are useless!

order was late, ordered 3 separate meals and selected sauce for each meal but was given 1 sauce pot.

This used to be the best kebab house in Chelmsford, now it’s average at best. All quality has dropped within the last three orders and they still charge premium price. Gutted that the quality in food has dropped, used to love it from here!

The food was very nice, the kebab was cold when I got it, but I called and it was rectified pretty quick and the second one was very nice I would recommend.

Just had the best chicken Shiah kebab of our lives. Really high quality meat and the Flavour of being cooked on the grill was absolute bliss. Perfect salad and chips As well. Doing good guys! Keep it up!

The only reason I've given a 3 star and not 4 or 5 is all down to delivery. Guys.... we are regular customers of yours. When we discuss takeaways, Favourite Grill used to be top of the list, but now the discussion orientates on if we want our dinner 20-30 minutes late and luke warm so has been less frequent and will stop now as last night was just frustrating. We had guests over who ordered elsewhere and their order arrived hot, on time and looked delicious whilst we sat there hungry awaiting our semi cold late dinner, we ordered before they did in anticipation of our order from you being late and theirs still arrived before and our guests had nearly finished by the time Favourite Grill had arrived. The quality is always good hence our loyal custom for over 6 years, your clearly busy which is great but your now so busy that I'm ringing in every time we order to find out where our food is knowing its NOT going to turn up hot and your staff know this also when I speak to them but they are so used to these phone calls, they hold no empathy and have become robotic. Unfortunately, no more. I've had enough of paying good money for cold food.

Order from here a lot but this time has a disappointing experience with the customer service. Our chicken kebab was meant to come with a salad but the salad was not in the bag. When we called to ask what could be done the member of staff denied that this could be possible and said “I checked and it was in there”. Disappointing that their solution was to suggest we are lying about a salad box. No offer of a refund or any suggested solution.

Lovely bit of grub very well cooked and not very greasy which is good very well priced and big thumbs up from me

If you want a proper kebab in Chelmsford Favourite Grill is the best around!

chicken wings I ordered was not what I ordered spicy

burgers and onion rings were yum, we both enjoyed them.

thought id give this place a try from my usual place, I'm a bit disappointed with the quantity, the garlic breads are quite small compared to my usual and the quantity of Donna meat in a large is approximately half of what of what I'm used to getting, the chicken strips were nice and crunchy which is better than my usual but it was all only warm when I got it, delivery driver had an 11 min journey according to Google maps.

I’ve used this place before many times with no issues. However on this occasion the food was delivered cold and not particularly edible. Very disappointing

Didn't receive our full order, the portion of chips was missing. Tried phoning through to the shop but line permanently busy.

Placed a simple kebab order but they could not even remember to include the sauce and salad which was ordered. Disappointed. Maybe forgot half the order by rushing the delivery.

Great place for pizza, the kebabs look lovely, I met a friend in there he said the kebabs are great, the meal deal is good value for money. Never had a bad experience in there. I have seen them grow and become more busy.

I have been going to the Favourite Grill for quite a few years now, I have seen them getting busier and busier. Their pizzas are so nice, all the food they cook looks good. Very efficient, friendly service.

We order from the grill weekly. Food is very good, delivery time is bad. We ordered today and it arrived 2 hours later. Cold. Shame…

Food was cold and over 30 mins late. Then driver made me go out and get it!

Food did arrive early however was not as ordered. Items. Not complete which is very annoying when that is what you have requested. This is not the cheapest takeaway will not be using again .

Arrived over almost 2 hours and turned up burnt and cold. Spoke to someone and they said it would be sent out again to no avail. Takeaway is the cheap for but this is rediculous

I like this place, food to a good consistent standard, prices good delivery could be better, but if it takes a bit longer to cook it properly then that's acceptable.

The best kebab take out in Chelmsford by far. The quality of the food is fantastic and consistent, quick delivery with friendly drivers! The hot wings are top nosh, highly recommended.

Outstanding food. So flavourful and delicious can’t recommend this take away enough. Never been disappointed with an order from Favourite Grill.

Great food, lovely taste and not too greasy. Chips were nice and crispy and hadn't gone soggy. Generous portion sizes, we had a large doner meat and chips and a chicken kebab to share which between 2 was a large portion and good value for money.

Best kebab in Chelmsford, prehaps the world

Great takeaway. I would say the best kebabs in Chelmsford. Used to be Krazy Chef 20 years ago. Rams is a dive in comparison as their quality varies. Had the 'Kebab Feast 1' today. The quality was great, serving of salad was decent alongide the Turkish pitta and the on-point garlic sauce. Perfect portion for 2 hungry people and priced well. This place used to be overpriced but it's more in line with others now if you order correctly. Obviously, compare it against takeaways, not restaurants and you'll love it. Will be back.

5th time of ordering and its been more than 20 minutes late. Food has been ok, lukewarm due to the lateness.

Food was excellent. However i was told the estimated delivery time was 8:45 to 9:05 and it arrived about 9:25.

Took an hour to come slightly cold. And I payed £4.40 for 4 little chicken dippers …. Not impressed about that.

For the 1st time ever, we were disappointed with the pizza, it was burnt on top and a bit soggy on the bottom. The chicken shish however, was top notch. This still remains my favourite takeaway.

The takeaway food here is excellent. Kebabs are freshly cooked and always piping hot. Salad is fresh. I've tried most of the menu and yet to have anything disappointing.

Decent food, particularly like the pizza's. Had two or three recent visits and been happy will all. minus 1 point for being cash only establishment. Always find that suspicious let alone annoying.

The burger was fine but the meal was badly let down by the chips, they were almost inedible, like eating lukewarm cardboard. I tried to man-up and eat them all but I just couldn't do it - had to throw half of them away they were so bad. I have a feeling they were frozen oven bake chips as well, not freshly prepared deep-fried chips as I would have expected from a takeaway restaurant.

The delivery has been late the last 3 times we have ordered and this resulted in the food being cold.

Long delivery time and rude driver

We got the combination kebab, Shish & Chicken, it was also served with Rice, Pitta and salad. The meat was so good and the rice even had nice flavour! Will definitely be getting again!

Probably the better take away we’ve had since relocating to Chelmsford in September. I ate it all. More chicken would be even better, felt it a little stingey. But over all. Thumbs up. 👍

The food was fine, albeit a little cold. However the order was placed at 18:15 with an estimated delivery time of 60-75 mins (19:15-19:30). At 19:40 I contacted Just eat for an update and was given 19:55 as the new estimated delivery time. Then, at 20:10 I had to call the restaurant AGAIN for an update and after getting hung up on the first time I managed to get someone to tell me that the driver had left over 5 mins ago and would be here any second (the distance is an average 5 minute drive according to google maps), they then hung up on me straight after. At 20:20 the food finally arrived and the chips had gone cold.
