Favorite Chicken Hull in Kingston upon Hull, City of

I ordered packs of chicken, wings chips , burger and poppas for my family and it was a trash. The taste was sour. It really tasted like 3days meals not fresh at all and it gave my family food poison. I didn't get value for my money.

Had a problem with an order having not received it, just eat wouldn't refund us, went to the restaurant and explained everything to them. They remade my order instead which was appreciated, great service and people, I highly recommend this place for good chicken.

Actually vile . They have these in Essex and it’s so good . Here it was cold tasteless and under cooked . Never again . The Mac and cheese balls taste off . The chicken is dry and they send the order on bike not car . Do not order

Night at the lair followed by some fast food en route home. Spicy wings are on par with kfc in their own right. Unique gravey that's beautiful, quite mild but fantastic with the fries (with chip spice of course!). The popping chicken is wholesome but not for me personally (like little cubes of whole chicken, likely far more healthy but I'd prefer processed unhealthy processed popping chicken I'm used to 😅). The best thing I ate from here tonight was the veggie burger, I wanted something other than chicken and I wasn't disappointed! Slight memories of veggie fingers in a burger form, with all the garnish absolutely banging veggie burger! Very friendly staff

Dry burnt chicken and stale breadcakes! don't waste your time with this place

£35 for cold chips, dry chicken and missing a sub. breadcakes were on the border of being stale! this place needs shutting down!

chicken sub missing from the order, rang and spoke to a guy who stated he made the order and tried implying we were lying???? no apologies or offer to send out another one. won't be ordering anymore! absolute bunch of idiots! sent to just eat for a refund

Ain’t nobody paying 11.49 for a burger meal with 2 wings. 14.99? With delivery. Won’t be coming back unless it goes back to normal again. Take of the sides & just do a burger/wing/fries meal. It’s a shame I loved this place!

Honestly the very very best Chicken i have ever tasted - and thats saying something. The chap was super non communicative but i guess thats a cultural thing - but oh my word - the chips chicken gravy and napkin and everything even the packaging was good quality. Very clean inside the entrance spotless - Honestly a full recommendation as they have a really really good attention to detail at this food hub. Just stick a smile on and you would be a 6 out of 5 star rating. WELL DONE

Food tasted really bland, I've never had such bland chicken in my life. I ordered a box of plain wings and a box of bbq wings, but recieved 2 boxes of plain. Had to reheat the food aswel. Definitely not worth the money.

burger buns were old, lettuce was also old instead of it being green it was brown.

It’s an excellent place, the original chicken needs to be better though. It was a bit under-cooked and there was a little bit of blood.

Chicken was really well cooked and the chips were great. Downside, I ordered a meal which included a side or drink. So I ordered coleslaw and then added a can onto my order. When I got home, no coleslaw at all. Baring the amazing service and friendliness of the staff I felt that they had the opportunity to stuff a few leaflets into my bag but forgot coleslaw. Looking at other reviews other people have lost bits in their order. Shame as I really enjoyed the chicken and chips but just missing an item I wanted.

Ordered food via just eat. Half of the order missing, rang up to tell them the lady who answered told us to hold one moment where we could hear her telling her co worker, she forgot the burgers. She then said "can I ring you back real quick?" 16 mins later we decided to ring and explained to another male staff member who said "oh yes I've just ben told about this, its a new online menu, if you live close by I will sort." It felt like he wanted us to pick the food up so I said we ordered meals to be delivered and half of it was missing, no call back and its not very good customer service. I asked for a refund, which was agreed....still waiting for refund. Poor communication, order incorrect and lacking in customer service. Shame because the chicken we did receive was tasty but won't be ordering again as its very inconvenient when things are missing.

Was over in Hull for work and found this quite little chicken shop! Service was great and food was tasty and didn't have to wait long

Ordered £4.99 meal which was one piece chicken, three hot wings, chips and carton gravy. Got home only to find the three hot wings missing and gravy carton less then half filled. Had to microwave what else there was as it was stone cold except the chips. This shop was really nice when it first opened, but since the new three male staff have been serving in it, it has really gone down hill rapidly. Its a shame but we have decided not to use this place again as a family. Really spoils your enjoyment of the meal when one of them are short of what you ordered. Rang them to tell them about the order and was told they would make it up next time but wouldnt take my name or number... Happily the meal was made up from everyone elses orders. If you do still use this place, ask to check your items as they go in and also the fill levels of your sides, beans, gravy etc. As stated, wont be using again.

I ordered a chicken meal over the counter for £4:99. The food was delicious but the guy who served me didn't mention that the meal came with a side or drink of my choice (which I've just confirmed is the case via a posted menu) and being a new customer I never knew!!! So I never got one of either. Says it all!! Crafty owner trying to short change his costumers, the worst kind of thing a business can do. Stay well away, he'll just keep doing it.

Ordered food face to face and when i got home i realised they didn’t put one of the meals in. Overall the food is nice but they miss out meals which is really not acceptable
