Popped into get a takeaway sandwich to take to the beach. Lovely helpful lady , told me about a local walk. Fabulous sandwich .

The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely and friendly environment, and great with my kids (whom sat eating ice cream from another shop whilst I had my cream tea!!! Thank you for helping us make amazing family memories with excellent service!!

Went to Fat Jacks as a “ too good to go bag” was ordered and paid for I was given the time of 4.30pm to collect the paid for bag so I traveled 30 minutes only to find the shop closed early and completely ignored by the owner who was getting into her car , no explanation from her what so ever even though she knew I was stood there waiting , she got someone else to come tell me to get a refund from the good to go app absolutely terrible customer service in her part with no consideration for her customers .In all they years I have visited the village I have never come across such rudeness, the least that she could of done is talked to me herself personally instead of sitting in her car ignoring me an explanation and apology would of been nice it seems she wasn’t prepared to fulfil her commitment to the “too good to go “ policy which is there to help people who are struggling right now with the cost of living shame on you

Ordered a too good to go bag, and the store was closed when I got there. Staff ignored me, and ran past me to her car. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Will completely avoid.

Nipped here for a couple of Cornish pasties as it’s just got to be done as they say when in Rome! They were delicious and very filling after our walk around lizard point, would definitely come back here! We even took one back to our cottage which will make for a nice snack after writing this review!

Amazing food and super quick service! I had the lotus biscoff waffle and it was only 5.50 for 2 waffles,ice cream and sauces with whipped cream! Very generous and great service!

Would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for a member of staff sat outside smoking when we were sat there. With a young family (inc a 18 month old) I would rather them not exposed to other peoples smoke. The pasties and kiddies pack lunches were lovely. Well worth a visit. Just a-shame it was spoilt by a staff member smoking.

Had a wonderful lunch here, both ladies were lovely and accommodating. Made a special lunch for my picky 2 year old. Pasty was amazing and sandwiches very fresh and tasty! Can't recommend enough 👌

Called in here on the off chance after a walk to Lizard's Point. Girls were friendly and polite. Hubby had a cornish pasty which he said was good, I had a prawn sandwich, I had the option of salad with it but due to to recent surgery salads and veg are off the cards for a while. My sandwich was large, bread was very fresh and packed with prawns so I didn't miss the salad, I would go so far as to say it was the best prawn and Marie rose sandwich I have ever eaten.

Went today into Lizard whilst on holiday. Made a trip for a coffee, came out with two waffles and a dog ice cream. The waffles were some of the best things I've ever experienced, in both quality and value for money. Even though we are only down here for a couple days, we will be back! Fantastic place, would recommend highly.

I love a good Latte and I've never been disappointed here when I visit Cornwall on holiday from Scotland. Great service, well priced and fantastic Latte.

Best vegan pasty. Staff were really helpful about ingrediants and were clear about the veg ones having a milk wash and cegan ones didnt! Would definately go back and actually we did!

Staff are lovely and pasties are the best in Cornwall! Had a Lovely girl serve me and the family, she had the prettiest makeup and finally some professional attire as to some other places I have seen in the village! Lovely to see women working together as such a wonderful team! The girl at the front brought a lovely welcome to us at the door and seemed so put together! I have come across a lot of rude people in the village but everyone was so kind and polite to us to also help us with directions. The lady who handed us the pasties where kind to let us know that they are nice and hot! makes a change to some of the lovely cold pasties we have eaten around Cornwall ! Thank you Fatjacks! You made our holiday! yummy!

We visited Fat Jacks today to grab a bit of food for the family on our way to Lizard Point. The staff were really friendly, and helpful. The food was great, we had Cornish pasties, one of my sons had a sausage roll and my wife a vegetarian pastor.. we all enjoyed our food. Fast service with a smile on their faces.

The staff were abrupt. Despite leaving an understandable distance between themselves and the mask-wearing customer the service-lead was badgering when they couldn’t hear our order. This is a not unusual circumstance to have to deal with, for both the customer and the order-taker, and patience...

We stopped here after a walk on the South West Coast Path. We were ready for lunch & grabbed a pasty & coffee out of the window service point, before carrying on with our walk. Really nice food

Had a pasty from here today a long with my family. I have to admit, we were disappointed with the lack of choice (traditional, veg, cheese and onion or sausage roll). Although the pasty was hot and tasty. The lady serving didn't crack a smile...

Feeling a bit peckish led us to the Lizard on the hunt for an Anne's Pasty, sadly and for a second time Anne's had frustatingly sold out and closed early.  After a few choice words and a growing hunger we set off into the village...

Stopped here for a traditional pasty and there was a vegan option! It was so delicious and really reasonably priced. My meat eating friends also said their pasties were great! Would definitely recommend.

Love Fat Jack's, nice pasties, cream teas and very friendly. Sadly this year they've changed the ice cream. We always came for the moomaid. We shall still come for the lovely coffee and other tasty treats just miss out ice cream.

Situated right by the road with tables outside it’s very convenient to stop in for lunch. Good selection of pasty’s and sandwiches which are freshly made. Bacon, Brie and red onion chutney sandwich is a must.

My daughter actually queried whether the Vegan Pastie we'd bought her wasn't a Steak one, she said it was delicious. It's a very small place, but always busy. Great service too

We had traditional pasties and they had very small amount of chewy meat and plenty of potatoes . Rather to pay more for better quality . Staff was very friendly .

Went here after visiting the point I had coffee and sausage roll wife had the cream tea all freshly cooked two scones big bowl of jam and clotted cream and pot of tea I think it’s the cheapest in the village.staff very friendly well worth a visit but can get crowded.

My partner had a really tasty vegan pastie here and I had delicious ice cream. It has seating outside and a great place to stop on the way back from Lizard Point. Accepts card.

Found this place walking up from the cliff path. its right next to the Witchball pub. Good food reasonable price will go there again

I visited in a family group of 6 on a gloriously sunny day, and sat having coffee in the sun on the terrace, until the younger members of the group joined me for lunch after walking the coastal paths. The fish and chips were sensational.

Called in for a pasty lunch, great coffees and milkshakes too. Excellent friendly service. Would love to visit again.

I ordered 1 slice of lemon drizzle cake and it was the best lemon drizzle cake I have ever tried and really kind welcoming staff!

Ordered 2 brie and bacon sandwiches for our lunch, we were asked if we wanted salad with the sandwich, we said 'ok'. When you are going to charge around £6 for a sandwich it should be a good sandwich! One slice of bacon and the tiniest piece of brie then stuffed with salad leaves does not constitute a good sandwich. If we had said no salad would we have got more of the main ingredients? The salad is to accompany the sandwich not take over!

Order a ham and mushroom pizza that was quickly made from scratch an cooked in about 15 minutes. The large pizza was served up in a cardboard transport box ready for my short walk home to enjoy.

After enjoying a walk along the cliffs and back, we were looking forward to a nice bowl of soup at Fat Jacks. Our friends we were travelling with visited there two years ago, and had said what a find it was, and would highly recommend it.

My husband and I visited here today and had a fantastic bacon Brie and red onion marmalade sandwich and a Cornish cream tea to wash it down . Superb sandwich with lovely doorstep slices of Brie , loads of freshly cooked bacon with fresh salad and very tasty marmalade . The fresh warm scones in the cream tea were a delightful desert too . Excellent value for money with very friendly service we would definitely recommend it and will be back again . A must if your in the lizard area

I enjoyed a fantastic giant steak pasty with a good Americano coffee. Good service and a nice location, close to Lizard Point.

Went whilst beer festival on and the café was doing a barbeque and it was excellent Had the lobster personally with a huge salad very good value for money

We stopped in here for a bite to eat for lunch... My other half had a ham sandwich, my daughter had a cheese sandwich and I had cheese salad one. The sandwiches were huge, and very good value for money, very filling and my other half took half of his back with him as he couldn't finish it! The ice cream was to die for and my daughter loved hers so much she wanted to take it with her lol - she rarely finishes an ice cream!

The only rainy day of the week so we popped in here for shelter. What a surprise. It was fantastic. I wasn't very hungry but who can resist another cornish pasty, not me. It was the very best. Follow this with an ice cream for all and you have a perfect meal. The staff were so friendly. I really enjoyed it here. Stayed longer than we thought and then the sun came back out. Highly recommend.

Fat Jacks is advertised as a Sandwich and Ice Cream parlour. Dont be fooled, its way more than that. Fat Jacks has a very comfortable atmosphere with pleasant staff We had tea and a pasty that had just come out of the oven!! One of the beat I had ever eaten. Dont miss this little gem.

Lovely little cafe , cakes and scones looked great but we were here for the Moomaid of Zennor ice cream. Love moomaid, even better and more silky than Roskillys!

Lunch for 7. A mixture of sandwiches and pasties. The sandwiches were made to order so were very fresh and substantial. The pasties hot and tasty, and all served by a very friendly lady in the outside area. All good value for money and sensibly priced.

We went every day on our weeks break at the LIzard whilst the weather was wild and windy with our ten month old and were warmly welcomed and received great service from friendly knowledgable staff, good coffee and hot chocolate with the home baked cakes a highlight

We have visited Fat Jacks twice and enjoyed superb sandwiches. The sandwiches are not cheap but they were packed with filling and still decent value. Service with a smile too!!

Popped in here when out and about in Cornwall for a sandwich and a cold drink.

Visited Fat Jacks on a two day camping / walking trip to The Lizard & will definitely be returning next year. Good coffee and tasty bacon and egg bagels served by genuinely friendly and hospitable people. We also grabbed a couple of pasties (traditional steak and a nice and spicy, beef madras) for our walk and these were equally delicious. The cakes, scones and ice creams looked good too and popular with the tourists and locals like. Overall, if you are at The Lizard and are peckish then look no further than Fat Jacks, you won't be disappointed. The neighbouring pub, the most southerly in Britain, is also well worth a look on an eve with an equally warm welcome, great beers and food. Keep up the great work guys - it is appreciated - and see you next year!

Camped on the Lizard with my mate Gava & we went here TWICE for breakfast! Cracking breakfast bagel & lovely coffee, just what the doctor ordered after a night under canvas. Also grabbed a couple of top pasties to go, these too were awesome. Really friendly staff, excellent service, relaxed, laid back & in a great spot on this fabulous peninsula. Will deffo be returning when me & Gava are on our next annual trek around the area. Job's a good un!

I stopped here after a walk along the coastal path. I tried my first crab sandwich. For a very reasonable price £7.50) we got two big sandwiches (white and brown bread) and side salad. Very tasty and filled with crab. I would definitely recommend this nice café!

Stopped off here after a walk down to Lizard Point. I had a lovely spicy Korean beef cornish pastie, and my wife had a tuna salad sandwich, which was huge, but really fresh bread. Nice hot pot of tea too. I also succumbed to a bit of lemon drizzle cake as well. Really light and lemony. The staff were very welcoming too. Worth a try if you make it this far south.

Stopped off here between lizard and kynance. Had a cornish pasty, scone and cream and coffees each and it was lush. Really nice guy who served us and a really welcome little stop. Would recommend for a laid back but tasty treat!

Went here today as this was the only place we could find open in The Lizard. What a pleasant surprise. We ate some toasted bagels with coffee. The cafe was lovely, clean and with very friendly staff. Definitely reccommend and will visit again.

What a lovely place with lovely people! Following a terrible experience at a neighboring cafe we sought refuge at fat jacks. Where we should've gone in the first place! The bacon sandwiches and amazing Victoria sponge were a massive hit! Welcoming staff and fab food should make this place top of any visitors list!

We visited fat jacks today for a coffee, and I fancied something to eat that was not on the menu,I spoke to the gentleman that was running the place and asked if they did jacket potatoes and he said sorry they didn't, they only did what was on the menu, he also replied that if I wanted a salad with any of the fillings they did for the sandwiches he would do that for me as I had explained i don't eat bread. I ended up with a beautiful ham salad, all freshly prepared .the service and food were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely use fat jacks again.

The food was of a very high standard. Staff very friendly and helpful. The premisies is a little small but worth the wait to get a table. Ideal venue for a lunch time eat or cream tea. Very reasonable prices also.

Stopped here for lunch and an ice cream. The pasties were quite nice, the sausage roll wasn't that great but the ice cream was lovely. A bit cramped but luckily wasn't busy. Size of selection reflected size of cafe. Lovely couple of lads serving. Very polite and friendly.

Tiny shop part of the pub set further back. We ordered 4 pasties, one being the 'smuggled' in pasty. 'Steak and Doom Bar'. All were delicious and really reasonably priced at £2.80 each. I also had a cream tea which was equally lovely. I did get in trouble for not ordering the super dupe hot chocolate for my husband. We saw it arrive for another customer, it looked amazing! Two young boys served us and were very polite and helpful. Really very good service and food. High recommend bobbing in.

Fat Jacks is fabulous with one of the best Cornish Cream Teas I've had in the week I've been in Cornwall, beautifully presented and very tasty. Great value and certainly the friendliest service we have experienced in Lizard.

We have been going to Lizard for years and we know all the places to eat there. Fat Jacks is new and bucks the trend of high prices and indifferent service. We were impressed by the friendly staff, sensible prices, quick service and good choice. Our lunch was served quickly and with a bit of humorous banter. Others have commented about the staff at back of house, and we agree, couldn't have been more helpful. Our new favourite place to eat lunch in Lizard.

Stopped here for a small bite to eat after a walk around the Lizard peninsula. Dog friendly, which is always a bonus for us as we had our 2 small dogs with us. It is only small, with seating for about 10-12 inside and maybe the same outside. I had a fresh crab sandwich and my wife had a tuna mayo sandwich. Both were very tasty, the only (very) minor disappointment is that on the stand in the cafe window they had some lovely looking artisan breads, which we thought the sandwiches would be made with. However, our sandwiches were made with normal supermarket white bread! They were good though. My wife, who like strong coffee, was impressed with the double americano that she had and I can thoroughly recommend the FJ's famous hot chocolate with whipped cream, marshmallows and a flake..lovely! We finished off with an ice cream each....go for the "shipwrecked" flavour....lots of caramel gooiness! Would recommend this cafe if you are in The Lizard village

Really enjoyed popping in here with my partner for a coffee. The lady behind the counter was a credit, she engaged with us and even gave us 2 scones free!

Lovely little coffee shop. Coffee cake looked lush. Very friendly lady served us who made us feel welcome. Coffee and pasty on point.

We thought before we left we would grab a quick snack. There were places that looked a little expensive and probably a bit more than what we were looking for. I must say, I have not been to the those places at Lizard Point so I have no idea if they are good or not. However, we decided to pop into Fat Jacks and it was just what we were looking for.
