Came here, and got food poisoning not a pleasant experience. Been here few times was very nice but on this occasion horrible. Won't be coming here anymore

This is a very beautiful place, if you visit this place, you will feel good.

The food tasted nice. The steak was juicy and tender. The chicken sizzler was very tasty. I had sweet potato fries and enjoyed these. The peri-peri chicken was also tasty.

Amazing food best lamb chops I’ve had. The staff was very accommodating spoke to the manager Hamzah as we came in nice and friendly atmosphere helped us get a private table due to my sister being a niqabi was serviced by Renu such an amazing girl made the experience way better. 10/10 food

Recently been travelling a lot and have been eating every single day. Farros Birmingham by far has been the best experience in my recent travels, food and atmosphere absolutely fantastic and to top it all off they even have separate prayer rooms and Wudu facilities for ladies and gents Thank you to Humza and the team

Food was spot on went with my whole family very cratering towards my needs such as a high chair for my little one and the staff keeping him busy while’s we eat it was an amazing experience and would recommend anyone thinking to go on a family outing downside it is self service however as long as the staff wasn’t to busy they were accommodating would definitely come again excellent from hamzah great recommendation all round

Management and team poor service. Need mature staff not young students that don't know how to communicate with customers. My son Ordered a steak that was cold and was told by a young girl (waiter) that the manager will come to speak to me but the NO he didn't either he tried to avoid me or disappeared....poor service all round.

Went here for Iftaar. Booked a table and was told that we had to wait 15 mins. No issue with that. To then see a group of 8 men just walk in and sit on a table with no reservation. Raised with manager and he just said leave it with me. Nothing more was done. Shocking service. If you dont challenge ppl like this whats the point of having a booking system. There were families waiting to open Iftaar but as the group had nore numbers it was clearly a money priority no principle. Have some courage manager saab otherwise they will walk over you all the time.

Good food good service recommended

We visited for iftaar last week. Ordered 30 minutes prior to Breaking our fast and the food came out pretty much on time, except for my sisters which was delayed by five minutes. The food tasted nice, however, my Meal of the peri chicken, rice and fries was not very warm. However, our other meals were fine. I have visited this restaurant previously and didn’t have this issue so I can only put it down to the fact that we came at a very busy period being Ramadan. However, I do feel they need to remedy this issue. Their milkshakes are in my opinion overpriced At £8, however it did taste nice. The service was great and waiters, friendly and attentive.

Came in around 6 PM and placed our order. We waited for 45 minutes before realising the food was taking much longer than expected. When we asked a staff member, they told us that the chefs misplaced our order but assured us it would be out in 10 minutes—not exactly the service you expect when dining out. When the food finally arrived, my steak was not cooked medium-well as requested and my friend's chicken was pink inside—completely unacceptable and unsafe to serve. She took it back and after some back and forth, they offered a refund for her whole meal. To make things worse, this was supposed to be my birthday meal and our other friend was fasting, so the whole experience was already off to a terrible start. They then tried to make up for it by offering us free dessert. We placed an order for a birthday waffle, cookie dough and a brownie, thinking at least that would be a decent ending to the night. We waited until closing time and the desserts never arrived. When we asked a staff member, he said that he would check up on it and after we said no, we’re just gonna leave he just said okay. At that point, we just left. The service was also shocking, they only had four waiters/waitresses for the whole night. The one person who actually tried helping us (who I believe was the manager or someone in charge) completely disappeared by the end of the night so we couldn’t even speak to her again. To top it all off, it's been over a week, and the refund still hasn’t appeared in my account. Clearly, they don’t care about customer service, food safety or even basic decency. Overall, this was a terrible experience. The food was overpriced, the service was incompetent and the entire night was ruined. Would not recommend at all.

Had to come 2nd time within a week to check how good the service was and it was outstanding. You see lots of you youngsters and expect service to be bad however these guys are all amazing with quick service and warm welcome as well as checking up on the food. Team consisting of Mizan, Hamza, Amina, Maliha, Mushlima, Junaid and Ahsan as well as the kitchen boys make the experience solid and would reccomend to anyone. Brilliant job guys all deserve a raise 👌

We recently passed through Birmingham and ate at Farro's I was really impressed with their excellent customer service, an employee named Hamza cooked my steak for me at my table he was so sweer and entertaining, he communicated through out, kept asking how i wouldlike the steak even cut the steak into bitesize pieces for me as I had a newborn baby and was eating with one hand, there was a small issue with one of the sauces which was kindly reaolved immediately. I will definitely be visiting again whenever i pass through Birmingham on a journey, might even come just for the food it was that good, not sure who reads the reviews but would like to give a special shoutout to Hamza for making our experience really enjoyable.

My sisters and I recently visited this restaurant for the first time, and we had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety that suited all our tastes. Every dish was prepared to perfection, and we especially appreciated the fresh ingredients. What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly hospitable and went out of their way to assist us when we had trouble finding parking. They not only gave us helpful directions but also made sure we felt comfortable throughout our visit. We left feeling truly valued as guests, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food and a warm, inviting environment!

Been meaning to try this place, so finally managed to pay a visit yesterday for the first time. We ordered the beef sizzler with chips, nachos, and calazone. For my daughter I ordered the chicken strips which she enjoyed. The nachos were a disappointment as you would expect the basic tortilla chips however theirs was more like samosa pastry if that makes sense. Beef sizzler was traditional curry taste which again was a disappointment. I must say though the calazone I really enjoyed and would probably only go back for that. We complained about the nachos and the manager let us swap for another item instead for the same price so we ended up getting a dessert which was the ferrero rocher waffle. We enjoyed it however it comes with milk chocolate not nutella. Giving 4 stars because of the service received by the lovely Eliyah (I think thats how you spell her name). Her service was outstanding she was ever so polite and such a lovely girl. We gave her a £10 tip to which she refused and told me to spend it on my daughter (how thoughtful), but we still gave it her. Thank you again Eliyah for your wonderful service if you get round to reading this. The atmosphere was really nice, they also have a prayer room separate for men and women. It is all self serve, and drinks are refillable. Overall had a lovely evening with the siblings.

Ahsaan who I can only imagine must be the manager has gone above and beyond. He clearly takes so much pride in working alongside his team thus providing an amazing dining experience. There were 12 of us in total and everyone has left saying they will definitely be returning. Thank you so much to you all....oh and not forgetting the huge portions and delicious Karak chai 🙂

I came here years ago with my family, when it first opened and we did not have a good experience then. So, years later I thought I’ll give it another go … OMG my steak was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing too! The service was quick and my server, named Murad was a great host. Well done guys this will now be my regular place to dine in when I’m in Birmingham!

The service was fast and friendly. My mixed patty (lamb and beef) burger was great. Unable to fault my first experience at this large establishment. Highly recommended and will return with no hesitation.

Farro's on Stratford Road delivers! The Sizzler Burger is a must-try, packed with flavor and the Butterfly Chicken is perfectly cooked. A great spot for a satisfying and tasty dinner.

Came here on a friend's recommendation and was not disappointed. Ordered sizzler burger, again on their recommendation. They also do bottomless drinks, so that's a plus. They have a small car park at the rear, but the place is very spacious inside.

I had a great experience at Farros! While the chips were a bit cold when they first arrived, but the steak was good. The service was fantastic, which tops it all up as you don’t get good service everywhere you go. I’ll definitely be back!

If I could give zero stars I would… the food was diabolical me and my brother had the filet steak that’s on the menu and they were both stone cold. When i told the staff they apologised and took them away to warm up. Firstly who re heats steak? When we got the food back honestly it was as if they just took it to the kitchen for show it wasn’t even warmed up. Then the waitress bought my chips after 5 mins. My food was cold and then we had it all at different times lol. It was my brothers birthday meal and it was ruined. NEVER AGAIN!!!

If you’re searching for a steakhouse for all the family this place is perfect. A small car park at the rear but quite large inside with decent seating and sections. The staff were attentive without being overbearing but it was not too busy on our visit and it seemed only one section of the restaurant was being used. Thankfully kids had a decent amount of space to run around in a small area as it wasn’t too busy and staff didn’t seem to mind, which was absolutely brilliant! I wanted the sirloin combo meal but the sirloin was not available so opted for the lamb steak combo, my wife opted for the chicken steak combo , I have to say both did not disappoint. This is the kind of place where you can celebrate a special occasion or family meal. The noise level was moderate, allowing for conversation without feeling intrusive. Expect to spend around £20-30 per person, including drinks and dessert potentially more depending on the main order. This place nice atmosphere. Don’t hesitate to make a reservation you won’t regret it! Staff were friendly kids had a great time family all enjoyed the food no complaints here. Most likely will probably visit again at some point!

First of all, we were extremely surprised how good the service was here, considering most of the staff were young, 18-22, but the standard of service was that of someone with many years of experience. Food was good, very generous portions and tasty too, seasoned and cooked well. Lots of families were present, which although it was quite loud, it made the place feel very alive. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

We have been to this place a few times and everytime the food and service don’t disappoint. The food is on point and the waiters are super friendly especially Aaliyah who always goes over and beyond in her role. she is super friendly and helpful. A great asset to the team. The restaurant is a little cold but I guess that can’t be helped as it is an old building with high ceilings. I would highly recommend this place, there is so much variety of food for eveyone of all ages.

Second time coming here, the food is amazing! Great prices but it’s probably the best service I have ever received in a restaurant. The girls who served me both times were Maisah and Muslimah. The service is what’s bought me back, and I will definitely be back again, & for sure will be telling everyone about the great service & food!!

Excellent food and good size portions. Our food was slightly delayed but that was ok but while waiting the kitchen sent a huge plate of freshly made nachos. Great service. Staff were very attentive. Very clean. Were visiting from London and had lunch here. Definitely recommend and would go back.

Visited Farros Birmingham on the weekend as a party of 14, we called ahead and a table was ready, absolutely delightful setting with amazing staff, we had a mixed age group and ordered a wide spread of food, the team were most accommodating and the service was prompt, a complete 10/10 without hesitation. Everything about this place is spot on from the service on arrival in the carpark, the happy chappy welcoming in guests, the kitchen staff, waiting team, and the rest... full marks all round. Will be back time and time again, keep up the fabulousness. Another visit to this lovely restaurant, really hammered the kitchen with lots of different things from the menu, food came out in around 15mins and was of the usual high standards a few pictures added from this visit. Full marks on the parking arrangement also, many thanks to the chap in the car park taking care of things. Farro’s visited again whilst in town, as usual we greeted by the cheerful parking attendant who ushered us into lovely wide spaces. At the restaurant we were given a table for 10 straight away (we weren’t booked), food was served with 12 minutes of ordering, we attended to by a very attentive waiter named Hassan, who was clearly very happy to be at work, thank you to all the team, I’ll be back next week with a team of 20, see you then. Farros B’ham is my go to place when in town five stars every time, keep it up guys. Having our original favourite Farros in our home town Nottingham i was very wary of coming to the bham branch as have always felt the service in Birmingham restaurants is generally not good. However I was pleasantly surprised! Location is amazing but the service was absoluteley amazing. Staff were considerate and constantly checking up on us. Attentive and service with a smile! Well done to the training and management which are obviously motivating staff to do so well! My siste wearing a niqab was politely asked if she she would feel more confortae sitting in a quieter corner of the resteraunt. We haven't had a better experience of service anywhere in Birmingham but the staff are really doing the name of Farros proud! Food was exactly how we have experience in Nottingham so no disappointment there either! Will definitely be recommending and coming back with whole family soon!

Great place to come with a big group. The food here is such great value for money. One thing they don’t tell you is just how massive the portions are. It was so hilarious with how much extra food we had in the table, however I won’t fault the staff for not warning us about the portion sizes as I get they want to make money, not lose it haha. I recommend their mixed grill, ceasar salad and pastas. Their Calzones are not really worth it unless you want something novelty. They are happy to accommodate swaps or changes of ingredient in certain meals which is nice.

Went here with some friends, decor was great and no waiting about simple menu order at till and guy at till was very pleasant, prayer room downstairs was nice and clean, unfortunately the food wasn't good at all ordered some sirloin steaks which we sent back as we ordered medium rare they come at as well done waiter was really sorry about it and brought out some medium rare steaks all unevenly cooked and no flavour at all probably worst steak I've ever had, two waitress which was standing literally next to us just watching us eat I asked them very politely if can they bring us some sauces and she said "its not our job" I understand that they want customers to get drinks etc but getting sauces when your doing nothing such a let down went here when it first opened definitely won't be returning.

Nice interior decor. Comfortable seating. Ordered the fillet steak which you obviously pay extra for, I don’t think it was a fillet steak. Whatever piece it was, it was cooked nicely (medium well). Partner ordered rare however was a little more cooked than rare. Chips were really nice. Mash was a little dry. Garlic mushroom and peppercorn sauce I would recommend. Our orders did come mixed up, so we have 4 at our table and our sides and sauces were all on the wrong plates. We were 1 of 3/4 tables at the time. Bottomless drinks were good, they weren’t watered down or anything like you would expect in certain places. Asparagus and tomato was a nice touch, cooked nicely. Just wish I got the fillet I ordered and not get ignored by staff when they ask if you’re food is okay and you tell them that it’s all mixed up.

Total random visit, wanted to treat ourselves, and i was so glad me and my hubby decided to come here instead of going anywhere on ladypool Road. The food was exeptional, piping hot and full of flavour. The service was top notch, beautiful decor, the waiters were attentive and down to earth. I was given free sauces to taste, and I was not disappointed. Will definitely be visiting again. 😊

Very lovely place. Food is great and the device is always excellent. I take my elderly mum. The staff are kind. I have noticed they make a huge effort. The young ladies, unfortunately I do not know their names.They come over and ask if everything is ok. There have been times when I have not been able to leave mum. The waitresses are always pleasant and help. I cannot praise them enough. Even at busy times, the service is very good. Very clean, good is lovely and portions are generous. Thank you.

I ordered a calzone, and it was really delicious, though the portion was huge. I asked to take the rest home, but when I got back, I realised it wasn't the meal I ordered. It was full of vegetables! That was the only disappointment, especially since I paid for mine. But hey, at least someone else will get to enjoy the calzone I ordered!

A trip from London to Birmingham for some shopping was brought to a truly memorable climax by the fantastic team at Farros! Wow, wow, wow – what a restaurant! The food was absolutely superb, and as for the staff, they were nothing short of amazing. Their attention to detail and genuine care for customer satisfaction is exceptional, far beyond the standard “is everything OK with your meal?” routine. It felt like they genuinely cared about making our experience special. The lamb chops were cooked to absolute perfection, and the burger was by far the best I’ve had in years! As for the grills, the meat quality and freshness were simply amazing – generous portions and an explosion of flavours. To top it off, the dessert of waffle and cookie dough with ice cream sealed the deal – a true indulgence of delights! The service was impeccable, and the food – cooked to perfection – surpassed all expectations. The freshness of each dish was remarkable, and the open kitchen provided that extra reassurance. You could see the chefs in action, with no microwave in sight – a true testament to their craft. I salute the entire team for a brilliant evening. I would gladly drive up from London again just to relive the experience. A superb evening from start to finish – highly recommended and absolutely worth the visit!

Fantastic time place, staff are just amazing. Very welcoming and helpful. Good was lovely very well presented and tasted amazing. Kids meals are a very good size too. Definitely get your money worth. We had a young lady who I think said her name was alaya. She was so lovely talking football with my boys. Who may I add are asd and don't usually talk to anyone. She really made there evening. They have even asked to go back. I highly recommend farros.
