We visited the beefeater this evening. Fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Great service and perfect atmosphere. Restaurant was clean and modern. One of the nicest meals out we have had in a long time. Highly recommended

Never leave reviews but this was awful. Paid £5 for some garlic prawns and received two very small prawns. Asked the waitress how much for a squash and she said 30p, which she then added to the bill for £2. The salmon is £19 for one fillet, which the overall quality was poor. Service was also slow. Also asked if I could be seated near the tv, which the waitress said I couldn’t, although there were plenty of other people receiving food there.

Visited on a Saturday evening around 5.30. the met and greet didn't want to seat us as they were fully booked but another member of staff said they had plenty of availability at this time. We ordered and the guys came relatively quickly but my curb ohm the cob was cold, cold to the core. The rest of my meal was like warm but edible. My husband's food again was cold, his steak over dinner and fatty (didn't have a mouthful without chewing fat) his triple cooked chips probably had been triple cooked but not sure when we they were cold. No check back was done. Fortunately I had a 40% of code otherwise we would have queried the bill! We won't be going back here again which is a shame as there's not many choices for did in Farnborough and the restaurant is nice and always clean.

Food portions not great for what we paid... I had to have a dessert to fill up on... Very noisy too ...

Came here for a breakfast, post swimming one morning with the kids while I was solo parenting. Really can't beat £10.99 unlimited breakfast where kids eat free. My two love it here. They have both the continental and a cooked. They are now both fairly independent and go to get their own bits from the selection so it's really great for us.

We stay at premier inn every year for Screwfix live and Jenna our server has been absolutely incredible two years running, despite being super busy she always goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy and have everything we need, the food is lush and Jenna, katie and the rest of the team always look after us and even remembered us from last year! Thank you 😀

Won't be eating there again. Food was shocking and the service was even worse

I ordered the mixed grill, waited 40 minutes for it (not even served the drink before). The quality of the food is really cheap, I was not expecting something wonderful but neither something so bad. The steak was acceptable, the chips average, gammon steak so salty that it had no taste of pork, eggs awful, kitchen not bad as taste but absolutely dry. The steak was served medium well so they had to redo it since I asked for medium rare.

Very neglected I'm afraid from outside looks derelict

Wow, came here with work colleagues and was greeted by a bubbly waitress who was friendly, my colleagues had a great meal but unfortunately my medium steak was well done so I sent it back and ordered another medium rib-eye but yet again this was rare and I refused to eat it. At this point I couldn’t face ordering another so I will be heading to Sainsbury’s opposite for a ready meal so thank you beefeater for ruining my evening. So so disappointed and upset

The outside of this restaurant made me feel that I dident want to eat here. Hundreds of cigarette butt's and lots of weeds were right outside the entrance. Really off-putting.Also a large poster advertising Fathers Day was still on full display outside.(June?) Inside the staff who were very busy gave us really good service and all our meals were excellent. PLEASE can you help yourselves and get the outside cleaned up. It is not helping the reputation of the restaurant

Servers were nice but the food poor Eggs hard and over cooked some items cold even though it had supposedly just cooked

Tried to book a table for three to be told there wasn't any available,even though there was about 15 empty tables,that on coming past an hour later most were still empty

It’s a basic beefeater nothing special. But £5 to add two prawns 🍤 to a steak 🥩 is taking the mick.

The service was good, the food ok, and the toilets filthy.

Was very quiet however the lunch menu is fantastic value - choice of 8 meals under £8. Good choices too for a nice freshly cooked meal.

Sadly seemed incredibly understaffed, busy on father's day and only 3 waiting staff, took ages to get served, lots from the fathers day menu had sold out so restricted to what we could have. Staff all pleasant but just very slow

Our family LOVE this place, head chef Nadine is amazing, food was hot, tasty and plentiful, she really is the only 1 in town to be able to do chicken breast that's not dry! Katie and the dining room staff are lovely and nothing is ever to much trouble!

Absolutely terribly, went here for breakfast, was shown a table sat down waited ages for service, decided to leave staff opposite seemed more interested cleaning the table, that said this company is awful and is clearly running it's staff to the ground two people to run the floor is ridiculous, awful.

Tonight, 3 May 2024, my family and I dined at the Beefeater Farnborough. I have been to Beefeater Farnborough on three other occasions on a Friday night and each time I think the service and food will be better, the waitress staff on duty keep disappointing us. The staff on duty seemed very keen as they always do on Friday night to close and clear up. Whilst diners are eating, staff were so busy cleaning to lock up. They even turned away a woman who came in requesting a table advising that they close at 9pm. The Beefeater website clearly states that closing time is 11pm. The sirloin steak that I ordered arrived at my table luke warm. It tasted rubbery. My first bite was so unpleasant that I opted to politely call the waitress to ask for my steak to be redone. The waitress obliged and replaced my steak. The new steak was much warmer than its predecessor but tasted rancid, pretty much the same taste as the previous steak. After only having a few bites, my family and I decided that we have had enough. Both my husband and me are professional people and we are happy to spend any amount of money for good food on our Friday night evening dinners. My husband decided to pay for the bill and even paid for my rancid steak which was sent back unfinished. In summary, Beefeater Farnborough has appalling service and serves appalling food. ( the other members of my family seemed to find their food acceptable). We have taken a decision as a family never to eat at any of your Beefeater branches again and would gladly spend more money with your competitors knowing that we would get better quality of food and great service, not a rushed service. It will not surprise me if you note a decline in your sales performance at your Farnborough outlet over time.

Food is very average here breakfast is ok but evening meals are a big let down. Food is hot but that's it really not worth the money and would not recommend it at all

Will definitely go back there, staff very friendly and welcoming food delicious 😋 The man had an amazing memory he took our order in his mind. The toilets are also very well decorated and clean and plenty of them.

Banging services spot on can't fault it

Really very disappointing. The standard of food for cost was extremely poor. Triple cooked chips were no different to that you could do at home, genuinely nothing special. Portion size was poor and inconsistent. Don't let the picture deceive you. Had to send one of the meals back as it was inedible. The decor at this restaurant is dilapidated with the staff struggling to use the blinds which looked mostly broken. Plus side was the staff as they were very polite and helpful hence the higher score. Value for money below average. Definitely one of the poorest Beefeater chains I have used and will not frequent again until things change.

The quality of the food did not relate to the price. Same for the service.

Food was absolutely disgusting. Cocktails 2 for1 were not brilliant either. Ask for a jug of tap water but never got it. Got chips instead of ordered rice. Not somewhere I would come back for a meal

Service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious our server Lindsey was lovely. The restaurant was nice and clean.

Took 25 minutes before they took our order for food, didn't get our food for 1 hour, small potion sizes too, wilted salad and rocket. Very dirty carpets and chairs and dirty walls. Not a great experience at all. Have to pay for parking too and it's very hard to find a space.

The breakfast is really great you can have

First and last visit..... What a place, rude staff, they don't even say hi or greet you when you walk in. the lady at the door with short hair is one of a kind. There was around 25 empty tables and she look at me in eye and say she don't have any tables available till next two hours and she walked away. I was amazed of how rude and unpleasant she was. NOT RECOMMEND at all.

Even though we were 15 minutes early we were seated straight away Katie was serving us today and she was amazing. Really attentive even though the restaurant was busy due to event happening this weekend. It was our daughter’s birthday and they surprised us with putting a candle in her dessert. We love coming to the beefeater and will be back again.

Had a lovely lunch today, our server Leslie was great, very helpful. Food was with us quickly and tasted great. Would recommend to friends.

Myself and my mum came in for lunch, we sat in the bar side, Lesley took our drink order, she was so polite and caring, made conversation with us which is lovely. The food came out quickly, was lovely and hot. Altogether is was a lovely relaxed lunch. Will definitely be going back.

Spent over £200 in here for a family meal for substandard food and slow service. Two of our party got a £50 parking ticket as well which Beefeater could help with but refuse to. Won’t spend a penny there again.

Brilliant. Perfect service perfect food

Booked a table for this morning. For 8 people. Had text to confirm. Have got 6 children ready and excited for breakfast. We have been turned away due to it being too busy and overwhelming. 5 very unhappy children a very grumpy partner and now we need to try and find somewhere else to eat which on a Sunday morning is Impossible. When I called to book its a automated service. Didn't actually get to speak to someone so clearly the system isn't working the way they want it to. We also paid for parking so out of pocket there too.

Best steaks in town. Reasonable prices. Perfect service.

It's not the cheapest compared to other similar restaurants in the area, and it was very cold inside. However, the staff were lovely and food nice.

Poor customer service by the waitress. First impressions was bad..never going again.

It was late..9pm and one of the last orders from the kitchen. Just travelled up on a train from Dorset a bit tired and hungry. Several items not available on the menu but understandable. Chose a simple burger nd chips. Really well cooked.. great meal. Thank you. Friendly staff :-)

In the hotel found a bug in our bed. Took it to reception in a glass with tissue. No communication all day! I should not have to call up after issue.

The worst meal I’ve ever eaten! Had the sirloin steak with triple cooked cooked chips and rocket, I asked for no mushrooms. The steak was chewy and nasty, the 12 triple cooked chips were cold and soggy, the rocket was so shrivelled it was completely inedible, half a piece of tomato and there was a hole on the plate where the mushrooms should have been. Literally half a plate of inedible food for £20. Complete rip off!! I never complain but I did on the beefeater website and they couldn’t be bothered to reply. This restaurant is empty for a reason, avoid it like everyone else.

Went in at 7.15pm on a Sunday when staying in the hotel attached. The place was empty. At least 100 seats to fill. Yet we were refused a table as they were 'fully booked' and when the online booking system allowed a slot, I was told this was an error. Appalling service for a hotel-based restaurant. Took our business elsewhere.

The stuff of this restaurant is racist，we went there on Saturday night around 6.45 pm，the reception told us there will be no table for us until 8.30pm because we didn’t book a table. Guess what, when we try to book a table online, we can book 7.15 pm and 7.30 pm, and we can see there are lots of slot before 8.30pm

There was not enough staff to tables serving food one server is nit enough and unfair on that member of staff. I'm sure the food was great but I did mention I had to leave early and we had to wait a considerable time after we sat down for orders to be taken hence I could only eat a starter. Sorry, normally everything is really good.

By far the worst Beefeater in the UK, I've visited this establishment between 10-15 times and every time the same, stand at the bar being ignored then told we're too busy to serve you even though there's 3 tables in the dining room, same 3 lazy staff each time.

Stayed at Premier Inn for a week and had a meal deal with breakfast and dinner everyday. Breakfast: was poor as the hash browns and sausages were burnt and overcooked and clearly just reheated several times. The pastries were also not cooked properly and were soft. Dinner: was okay, both the mains and desserts were tasty and the portions were generous, however the mains always came out lukewarm so there is potential for improvements. Customer Service: it varied each day depending on the staff present. Dale always seemed unhappy and grumpy, despite being the restaurant manager. Never saw a smile on his face. On the flip side Lesley, Jenna and Anna were all great and deserve recognition!

Just disgusting service. Will be writing to the brand complaints too. We booked a table for 7.00 this evening. Arrived with my family of three and a baby - wife's birthday!!! Waited 8 minutes to be even be acknowledged at the service desk. No apology from the assistant who then stated we're busy tonight. Table of 15 just taken their order and you'll have to wait an hour for food.... then she said you might be lucky, still long wait!! My wife stated we weren't a walk in table, we'd booked at 3 this afternoon for 7. She then said ' three other tables now waiting to order too!!! ' I used to work for beefeater in Twickenham and we'd be given the boot if I'd allow my team to talk to our customers like this! Extremely disappointed to say the least. And worse of all the restaurant was not even half full!!! If this is the standard of a once very vibrant brand then I'm very saddened and shocked.

Cant really comment about the food or service as I didn`t get a chance to eat there. We were staying in the adjoining hotel where there were posters and adverts promoting the the establishment. We decided that we wanted to eat there when we booked the hotel as we were not too familiar with the area, we didn`t make a reservation because we were unsure of our arrival time. When we did arrive at the hotel we looked at the Beefeater, it was very quiet so we decided there was no need to reserve a table. After we checked in to the hotel and unpacked, we decided to go to restaurant. We entered the restaurant via the hotel lift and it was very quiet about 75% of the tables were vacant. We asked for a table only to be told that we could not eat there unless we had a reservation, I could understand this if the place was full, but it was almost empty, absolutely shocking treatment, especially as we were staying at the hotel.

Absolutely great made sure we had a highchair for our child. Didn't mind about the mess that was left under the highchair. They also made a suggestion to let us have one of the desserts missing out what we didn't like rather than having something else.

Food was Excellent, staff were VERY helpful although there were only 2 of them. GREAT place 🏆🥇⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food was good if a little cold but service was extremely slow and we were not even given desert menus after being asked if we would like them. A further 20 minutes to get the bill . Restaurant was barely half full and the staff were turning people away in a Saturday night...

Once in had to wait for someone to show us our table then another wait for the meue and another wait for to take our food order seemed as if there was only 2 staff working, as we stayed the night in the hotel breakfast wasn't much better

We stayed at the premier Inn whilst working locally and was really well looked after every night by dale Jenna and Lewis ,the service was superb and to say there was so many of us staying ,it was really well planned .Jenna was lovely ,really pleasant and a real asset to the company Dale went in early to ensure we could all get breakfast at 6 am before heading out to work ,and Lewis worked tirelessly to keep everyone's drinks flowing .thankyou so much

We come here when visiting family. We have a child who is nil by mouth and peg fed. The staff were friendly and so accommodating with warming the blended food we brought with us. This allows us to do more inclusive days out as a family. Food was good quality at the usual prices for pub grub. We ate at around 14:00 and didn't need to book in advance as it wasn't busy on this occasion but I'd still recommend booking in advance. The restaurant and facilities were very clean and well maintained. There is plenty of parking close by, but there is a short walk from the closest car park. Good disability access to the building and the floor is level inside, so there is no need for lifts to toilets, etc. If seen by staff/managers, thank you very much, we had a lovely time.

I had an overall pleasant experience. Although the waitress was apologetic about the waiting time, it did seem like the establishment was understaffed, which resulted in slower service. However, I must commend the kitchen for preparing a delicious and perfectly cooked steak. Unfortunately, the peppercorn sauce we ordered didn't make it to our table, which was a slight disappointment. On the plus side, the prices were quite reasonable. Overall, it was a decent dining experience, and I appreciate the effort put into the food quality.

Attentive and accommodating staff. Beef isn't great though. A bit hard. I was served with no sauce too so I have to ask and wait. The side dish was skinny chips which were just saggy fries. I'm not impressed.

Visited here on the 4th August and was served by Katie team leader who was very accommodating and friendly. Food was excellent and the rest of the team who we spoke to were very pleasant and helpful.Our overall experience was very good and would not hesitate to come back again if we were ever in the area again

Took over half an hour to get drinks and the food came before the drinks, food was ok, feels like prices are higher now so would expect bit better service for what you pay, we were going to stay for some more drinks after but didn't want to wait an hour. Went back after several months Ona Sunday evening and we were turned away as didn't book a table even though restaurando was under a quarter full they said they were understaffed.

Stumbled through the adjoined Premier Inn doors at 20:50 after a manic day. Checked in and Albie at the reception warned that I only had a few minutes for food so if I wanted something I better get my pace on. Crashed through the door and was met by Lewis and Nadine. Explained my situation and pleaded that I’d made it in time. I hadn’t… the kitchen was closed. But that wasn’t a bother. Nadine said she’d happily accommodate me, Lewis took my order and had me seated. Out came a good ol’fashioned cheeseburger and chips. All cooked and prepared to perfection. This trio of wonders managed to turn my chaotic day on its head and chilled me out with some good food in a relaxed atmosphere. The food was no way rushed neither despite the circumstances. Couldn’t fault it. Nadine, Lewis and Albie… all wonderful assets to the Whitbread team.

We walked in on a Sunday evening. The restaurant wasn’t too busy. However, we were turned away due to lack of staff. We had bad experience before too. Walked round the corner to prezzo. The staff, food and service were incredible! Go to Prezzo! Don’t bother with Beefeater! They don’t really want customers…

Although service got a 3 , nothing to do with the individuals was just very standard. As the restaurant had about 8 customers in I would have thought kitchen will pay more attention to food. Had a full rack of ribs , was preheated and dry , only thing that had a bit of taste was the chicken breast . Rice was preheated and taste awful. Coleslaw was spoon sized. Too over priced for the food that I got. Will pay for decent food meal for 1 £40 . Not worth it, there is a place across the road Woodies , 1/3 the price all grilled and made in front of you … first time at a beefeater , last time …

June is a absolute credit to you guys.. Best service iv had ever from a restaurant.. absolute star.. so friendly and nice.. Best service. The food was good too..

Slow service, not attentive. Staff walked past when we had clearly finished. Food was average at best: gammon had a lot of fat and gristle, chips were cold and coleslaw was warm, could see our items on the pass for a few minutes. Tried to mention on check about chips but waitress walked off after I said "well". Mentioned the cold chips on receipt of bill and no discount given, just a acknowledgement that chef will be informed. Won't be back

Usually go here for breakfast. Decent spread of options and tastes pretty fresh. Shame the capacity of the venue isn’t very good as although more than half the venue was empty we still got turned away at 8:30 am for 2 people. We’ve learned to book now.

Leslie provided some of the best customer service I have received in years lovely attitude caring and attentive to customers providing a very welcoming atmosphere could not recommend more, thank you!

Service was a little slow even though restaurant was only about 3rd full, despite requests for service, staff seemed to bent upon laying tables & cutlery on the empty tables rather than serving present customers. Food portions were ok although a side of coleslaw was literally 1 tablespoon. Prices on the higher side

Really great food, the staff who served us called Alfie was attentive and made sure we were ok and if we needed anything else. Also the food was brilliant and was a lovely atmosphere - definitely would come again :)

It's a beefy the big front windows could be a little off-putting but I was tired and hungry. The meal resolved both.

was over from Ireland and went to the Farnborough branch had a party of 9 including 3kids and went into the restrant to see about a table and their was only 3tables occupied to be told no and when asked to speak to the manger who was very abrupt and rude was basically told me no even though we only wanted mains nothing else that she wasn't even going to entertain us on getting a table her attude was so rude i defiantly wouldn't be recommending this place again ended up going some were else also to add that it was only about 6-6.30 pm on a thursday night

Had a Roast dinner. Good portion size, The meat was a bit over cooked. The host was nice and attentive. As for the Atmosphere, it was fairly quiet as we were there early doors. But it did pick up a bit towards end.

Breakfast is a really good value for money. It is made for all really, friends , family, and couples. Staff are friendly and very efficient. Food is good, but sometimes it depends on which chef 👨‍🍳 is on duty. Overall, we go there fairly often.

I know it sounds obvious but would not recommend for vegans. The vegan versions are the same price with half the meal not there.
