Hubby visited here The Girl hesitated after giving one price for the Pint, and said, oh it's gone up £4.50 a Pint. So he had the one and left. Won't be returning, he felt he'd been conned.

Paid a visit to the Arms on the Spinning disk preservation society night (Sundays). Made for a good experience and I highly recommend it. Bit of a spit and sawdust pub but nice to see they still exist.

Lovely pub at the top of the high street, Decent pint and quirky interior.

A small 'proper job' pub that concentrates on good beer with a friendly atmosphere in the tradition of the local, with no frills or expensive menu. There is regular live music that caters for most tastes. Situated at the top of Causeway Head, there's a decent Chinese take away two doors up, a restaurant next door, a car park across the road within a few minutes to other pubs, cinema and food places.

What a find we had a day out in Penzance and thought we would pop in for a quick drink and what a find they do live music on certain evenings and serve real ale to die for it's a traditional pub none of these modern watering holes like weatherspoons this is a traditional pub that seems so much harder to find the more you move up country if I could give it more than 5stars I would

Proper spit and sawdust boozer. Guinness is kept very well. Friendly, great atmosphere, and in the winter the top spot is next to the fire!

Quirky pub on the eclectic Causewayhead Street. A nice pint of Sea Fury was had sat on one of the outside benches in the evening sun. Plenty of colourful characters both at the pub and passing by to keep your attention.

No live music due to this COVID nonsense but still a nice fire lit pub. Hopefully things get bsck to normal soon. Open mic on Sundays 3-7 pm Group/musician on Fri 8-10 pm.

This is a town centre public house, which has some outside seating on the pavement. Clearly popular with locals understandably, don't be put off going in & enjoying a drink the staff are lovely & friendly. It's a small bar two casks Sea Fury was excellent. Multi roomed one set up as a music venue & then some seating in the window & then another room to the side of the it's an old fashioned great to see unaltered pub set-up.

Nigel is a one in a million and the rest of the staff are bloody lovely, I'd pick the farmers over any over pub everyday of the week!

luv the farmers, nigels lovely, jacks a lovely bartender, every other bartender is wonderful, regulars are lovely, love a bit of cheap jager absolutely sloshed thanks to the farmers and quite content about it, cheers now 🍻

A nice proper locals pub in Penzance. Lots of outdoor seating and fair priced drinks. My only criticism is that it's a bit confusing in the current climate in terms of how you can get your next order i.e. can you go to the bar, or will staff eventually come outside? Overall though, everyone here is lovely, and I'd recommend!

Love this pub, always a great atmosphere and an outstanding pint of Guinness, but that also stands for all of the beverages served here, bar staff and licensees are outstanding and always friendly, great clientele that are mainly locals.

Walked into this pub with my wife & young daughter to be told "No kids". I said to the barmaid " This must be the only pub in the whole country that don't allow kids" She thought this was funny. The pub was empty apart from some scruffy, dirty old men who were sat on the tables outside. This place needs to move into the 21st century!!

Walked in on a very wet Sunday afternoon. The pub was empty, bar one couple in the corner. Refused entry as they don’t allow kids. Other reviewers have described this place as family friendly. In my experience, this is clearly not the case. They may dislike kids or maybe they just don’t like people with brown skin. Might be worth considering this when you choose to give your patronage to them. There was a ‘no dogs’ sign on the door but no mention of kids not being allowed in.

One of the pubs I frequent the most in Penzance. Loads of live music on Thur, Fri, Sat - plus an epic open mic on Sunday afternoons. Bit short on ales, but more than made up for in atmosphere and friendliness. The toilets are a throwback to better times, the smoking area is good for just about nothing else - not things that matter that much imo.

Waited for years to go here, it is mentioned on BBC Radio 6 a lot. It totally lived up to my expectations. The group Sirens of Bling were the cherry on top of the cake. One thing Iticked off my bucket list.

Great pub. Good atmos. Great mix of people. Family friendly. Watch out for small bowls of roast potatoes on the bar - they're free but go quickly! Don't go to Penzance without visiting here.

Cosy traditional pub at the top of a quaint shopping street.

Literally found this pub by mistake looking for something to eat which as it happens is next door in the form of a fish and chip shop. On draught was one of my local and favourite beers Timothy Taylor`s Landlord so that was a good start. The pub was busy for a Tuesday and the locals very very friendly and chatty. I enjoyed my evening so much that I made a point of returning the following night to enjoy another good evening of banter with new friends. Nigel runs a great bar and the people I met do the pub proud. A couple of nights to remember, I will definately be back.

Nice selection of real ales and other drinks which are fairly reasonably priced. Quite often lots of fantastic live music on a various times in the week. This is a proper pub not a wine bar, and as such is not for everyone. The staff are very friendly, and the customers generally a very lovely crowd.

It's a rock venue pub. So my review on a quiet lunchtime is clearly incomplete. Perfectly nice pub, lots of music and film stuff on walls. Timothy Taylor Landlord was a bit stale. But it's a lager pub and a music pub... and needs to be judged by that standard.

Just awesome. Attention, Google shows the wrong location here. Just keep walking up the street...
