Lovely little pub very friendly locals. Debbie behind the bar gave us lots of tips about our new Mazda Bongo camper and made us feel very welcome 😊

A friendly pub with good quality drinks at very reasonable prices.We had a good bit of banter with a few of the locals.Nice service from the young lady behind the bar.Good pint of Merlin cask too.

Really enjoyed are first visit will definitely be going back. Great staff drinks and atmosphere.

Good selection of beers and lovely atmosphere

One of the few remaining true British pubs. Great beers, good atmosphere and regulars with a tale or two. There's a small car park with a cosy beer garden which doubles up as a sun trap on hot days. Inside the real ales are top notch, most notably the Merlin brewery beers. Sports TV features prominently during the week with customers enjoying both Sky and BT and for those who seek shaking a leg there's a disco on Saturday evening featuring drag queen Stella Black. So something for everyone really you can even get a game of 9 card don. Well done everyone this gem is definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic wee boozer! Good selection of beers, especially a real ale or three, lol. Locals aren't too bad, even though a few are ex-Pongoes, lol. Definitely a good place to enjoy a drink and great banter. Not a place for those of the Woke variety, lol!

Music was excellent. Could have done with some kind of muffler on the gents toilet door. I put a stool to jam it but it kept getting moved!! According to the singer it was the same last year !!!! It needs sorting before next jazz n blues festival.

New manager is really making an effort to turn the place round. Music at weekends and well kept beers.
