Ordered pot of tea. Americano. Spanish eggs. Jacket spud and tuna with salad and homemade coleslaw. Ate outside . Pot of tea and Americana luke warm . Salad looked lovely jacket was not even hot had it replaced with hot jacket and 3 leaves of sald with a tiny bit of coleslaw . Complete rip off

What a great place. Kitchen made me lunch despite the lunch service finishing at 3pm. After a difficult morning, it was a haven of kindness and the lunch was great too.

Absolutely brilliant service and food. They were very accommodating for 17people, as we booked for a breakfast party. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

went here a few weeks back ad hoc (been here before). ordered 2 breakfasts and 2 mugs of coffee. coffee came and was a very small cup and was charged £2.80 for it! then along came the breakfast. first something was missing, then when it came it was not very hot and then the bill - £38! i wanted 2 breakfasts, not shares in the place. it was never that expensive there before. I know the food is usually nice and good quality, but surely they cannot justify tht price for 2 breakfasts and a sample cup of coffee. I know a lovely place not far from there that do endless refills that are included in the breakfasts and are not half that dear, so sorry you lost a customer. I also think you lost another customer too while we were there, because a grandmother came in with her young granddaughter and asked the lady behind the counter if it wasnt too much trouble, could they make a banana sandwich. the response wasnt very professional and after the lady walked out they started mocking her. this day and age its good to keep business not push it away albeit a banana sandwich or a over priced breakfast.

We stopped off here on a cold December morning touring the garden centres in this area. To be honest, the centre here is not the best but being hungry and ready for lunch we decided to try farmer and friends for the first time. Special of the day was hot pork sandwich with all the trimmings. When they arrived, oh dear lord !!. The bread was thick - VERY thick - and soft, the shredded pork wonderfully tasty and the stuffing, gravy and pot of apple sauce completed the plate. Not so sure about the coleslaw, whilst very nice for me a handful of crisps or a few chips would have been better. Service was speedy and friendly, the food and drinks arrived swiftly and we were still full gone teatime !. Looking at the rest of the menu the breakfast looked particularly good. We might just be back to try that !. Excellent first visit.

We stopped off for breakfast as we were driving past. The surroundings are pleasant. The lady greeting us was very friendly and bubbly. To top it all, the breakfast was excellent. All of the ingredients were high quality and well cooked. There was also a good choice of different breakfasts.

Took our grandchildren(aged 7-9) for a most pleasant outdoor lunch. Our hot sandwiches were cooked to perfection and the portions were generous , served on tasty bread. Our tea and coffee were also top notch and the welcome/service from the staff was polite, amiable and genuine. This was our first visit but we've agreed to go back soon. Highly recommended!

£12.00 + £1.50 for black pudding; £13.50 for a large breakfast that was by no means large.. Parts of the food was cold & 1 piece of toast. Staff were friendly when we arrived; however nobody checked or asked if food was ok. Will not return..

Very nice food and good portion sizes. Despite being busy didn't take too long to come out. Delicious sausages! Friendly staff.

The breakfast was tasty and the welcome warm. We were a group of 5 having full English breakfast and all throughly enjoyed it. The sausages were fat and tasty and the eggs were perfect. The most important thing was that none of it was greasy! Thanks to all that were working so hard!

Arrived 2.55pm refused hot food, menu said served until 3pm, they open until 4pm. They obviously didn't want my money.

So within 5 minutes of being here we ordered our food, 50 minutes later it finally arrived after complaining and having to watch people arrive after us and get their orders before us! Staff attitudes are something to be desired, dirty looks and whispering about customers is a big no no in any industry. It’s safe to say we will not be back!

we were a party of 8, service was first class, Food Excellent!!..we ordered 8 meals they came speedily and piping hot, the food was way above average I personally had eggs benedict is was so tasty ate every bite, Fabulous!! A lovely place to go for breakfast, staff were nothing short of exceptional and the look and feel of the place was great. The only reason i couldn't give a 5 star was because it would have been nice to see some nice farmhouse sausages instead of what came out. I think more and more people are looking at the ingredients of the foods and they want quality and traceability.

Lovely light lunches. I had a thick cauliflower cheese soup with granary bread, my husband had scrambled egg on toast and our granddaughter had BLT. All lovely, served by nice staff in a great café with a lovely feel.

My family and I enjoy the breakfasts in particular. The staff are very friendly and there is a nice selection of cakes. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is the tea! I am not sure if it is the tea itself or the use of an urn with water that is not fresh but it really tastes unpleasant.

Popped in for lunch and was able to sit outside which was great with our dog. Lovely, friendly atmosphere and excellent customers service. Food was delicious and arrived quickly …. Compliments to the chef and front of house! Would definitely recommend.

We arrived at farmer and friends on 20th august as a group of 10 along with 5 small children, they accommodated us quickly with such short notice and large table, the staff were amazing and extremely friendly and the food was phenomenal I can’t wait to go back! Very impressed with this lovely cafe. After trying 3 previous local places in the area, they accommodated our extended family of 12 with a wonderful service and exceptional breakfasts. The food was beautiful and the skinny fry was a lovely start to the day. Lovely place definitely recommended for breakfast or a coffee date. Can’t wait to return 😃

Delicious breakfast, as usual. We’ve visited Farmer and Friends on many occasions and it never disappoints. Our meals were all very tasty - 2 full English breakfasts, a smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and also a bacon sandwich. Everywhere was spotlessly clean , including the toilets. The staff were very helpful and they checked 3 times that everything was ok.

Ordered for two adults and a child. Place was not in any way busy. Coffee and items for two were delivered to table, but third item was to be hot, so I guessed it may take a little longer. 25 minutes later nothing! Left with a refund. It happens , but it’s not the first time. A few week’s ago as three adults only two of us got our order. Something is not happening in the kitchen. Gordon Ramsey needed.

Fantastic brunch, great value and great service from Evie. Will visit again and highly recommend. I really can’t agree with some of the other reviews here as it was very impressive all round and very COVID friendly! Looking forward to the next visit.

We’ve been to farmer and friends a lot over the years, always found it decent quality if a little pricey. However, they’ve made some massive changes and it’s really not worth the money anymore. Large breakfast now half the size but still the same price, veggie sausages changed to some weird frozen type, swaps not allowed on breakfasts but you can remove ( and be charged the same) or remove and add on for extra cost of a pound per item. At 7.50 a breakfast to begin with, it really is not worth it. Interestingly, It was no where near as busy as it used to be and it was glaringly obvious why. Shame because it used to be one of the best places for breakfast but penny pinching has ruined that.

£4.80 for two bottles of Coke??? Talk about taking the p##s two pints in spoons were less last night and also two large lattes from Mcds this morning 🤯

Waited 30 mins in total, people were being served before us who came in after, no organization, got told 1 minute by three different staff?

Visited today (Saturday late morning) as I needed to get my car valeted at the nearby car wash.I was visiting alone and was impressed to see the COVID changes made; the one way system, the well spaced tables, hand sanitiser on entry, table service, throw away menus, check in details for test and trace and the general advice given by the waitress as to how things worked and the rules to make things run smoothly and safely. The friendly, young and hardworking staff all wore face shields and the cleanliness was reassuring. These things are important to me given the location and that visitors come from all areas including higher risk local areas.The cafe was busy but I was very quickly shown to a table towards the rear of the cafe and provided with a paper menu. I chose the Farmers Fry breakfast and a large cappuccino. My drink was served within about 15 minutes and my food followed shortly after.Even though they were very busy, staff took the time to check whether everything was okay and if I had everything I needed a couple of times which was great, as you are asked to remain seated to keep the floor space clear.The food and drink was of a very high standard. All fresh, hot and perfectly cooked and presented. I feel this cafe has adapted very well to suit the current circumstances and I’d be very happy to return in the near future.If I could give a small tip to make it perfect, it would be for the staff to sanitise the backs of the chairs as from what I observed these were not done and for customers who visit the toilet facilities and when leaving to be actively encouraged to wear masks as some were ignoring this rule even though it was expressly advised on entry.

Me and my family visited for breakfast, breakfast was nice as you would expect for £7.50. additional black pudding was average for £1 extra. All in all pretty average for the price.

We used to enjoy a drive out for lunch here but have been really disappointed the last couple of times we’ve been. Our food arrived before the drinks, the omelette was the worst I’ve tasted I’m afraid and the chips were poor too. Very pricey for below standard food. Won’t be visiting again anytime soon

I understand current climate is difficult for everyone and we're all learning to adjust. But the service is awful, slow , very slow , I was in farmer and friends Saturday just gone and the wait was ridiculous I know they haven't done table service before but it still took them 30 mins to get our coffee out!! Then the food arrived 20 mins after that , the bread was awful , the eggs were wet and soggy I paid for extra cheese and it come with the smallest sprinkle , four meals and four drinks was nearly £50!!! Extortionate for a small run of the mill cafe on a garden centre! Awful will not be returning

Really gone downhill. Been for breakfast this morning with my husband and granddaughter. Waited an hour for 2 breakfasts and an omelette. Terrible breakfast eggs were undercooked and sent back they were very pale yellow. Will not be returning. Very expensive nearly £30. There were lots of staff but was not busy but everyone seemed to wait along time for food.

My Husband needed urgently use the bathroom.Staff in the cafe said I quote " The toilets are out of order" She sent my husband outside to a disgusting set of portable toilets.My husband had no alternative to use them because of his condition Farmers Market toilet might have been out of order but to send people to a dirty disgusting filthy facility is not acceptable.

We’ve been here twice, both times 3 months apart staff have been stood about on mobile phones texting and chatting while our drinks were sat on the side going cold. We almost went and asked for a refund today. Won’t come again and certainly won’t be recommending you to anyone!

Really gone down hill, normally come here to meet my mom for brunch, past few visits can’t seem to get our order correct and today a few people were complaining about wrong or missed orders. Food comes before drinks as well which is a big pet hate of mine especially when you only order a coke and latte, not a complicated order. I ordered the veggie breakfast without beans, came with beans (simple mistake) but when they bought me another breakfast out which they had only replated the breakfast which was still covered in beans after id mentioned to a member of staff (lady with pink hair) how much I hated beans. Always busy but lots of dirty tables for the amount of staff they have It’s a shame, will give our custom to other local businesses

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for coffee and cakes! The staff were friendly but the place was a mess! Dirty, sticky tables and the one toilet was awful! We did have to wait a while for just two drinks and a slice of cake! Needs improvement!

It's a popular haunt so be prepared for a bit of noise at weekends, but it's good fresh local food so that's a bonus. Farmers fry up is a good portion and the cakes are yummy too. Ideal location for a browse at the garden centre and independent huts

Visited this place for breakfast and it was very busy. Some people popping in for coffee and cake and others tucking in to a full english. We were a party of two and had breakfasts, poached eggs, toast, tea etc, Everything was lovely. The order was taken quickly and delivered to our table in about 10 minutes. We stayed longer than expected and tried some coffees etc as it was so pleasant.

Staff were friendly polite nice place ordered a jacket potato with tuna the jacket was not the best definitely not baked In a oven for £7.50i would have expected better no taste at all to the meal

first time in here for a quick coffee and snack coffee was lovely and the sausage roll was very tasty it looked homemade very busy but the service was quick and the added bonus was you can take your dog in there

Went for some lunch with my family. The service wasnt great.

Stopped here on the way to see a client in Bridgnorth and had their full English breakfast which was superb absolutely faultless. Only reason 4 out of 5 stars was because the table of dirty dishes behind me remained uncleared for the duration of my visit.

Both had broccoli and stilton quiche which was a bit dry and not terribly tasty. The slaw was delicious though. Nice cup of tea and the service was quite quick. Staff weren't very welcoming. A smile would have gone a long way to provide a friendly welcome. Won't go again.

Arrived at Lunch time and ordered their large breakfast .There was a mix up with meals but got sorted quickly and was given complimentary pieces of cake to make up for delay.

We regularly treat ourselves to what is undoubtedly the best English Breakfast in the region.... not only are the ingredients cooked to perfection but the staff are always friendly and smiling.

We should have known better when we entered the building and it was almost empty, as on previous lunchtime visits we had difficulty finding a table.

Consistently good service and a great “Full English Breakfast” guaranteed every time we visit. It’s clean and pleasantly busy with staff who always smile.. well worth a visit if you’re in the area

Good as usual, we often nip here for fry up English breakfast. Not the cheapest but worth it. Nice coffee too, we always ask for it really hot because It has come out a little too cool previously. Kids love the milkshakes too.

Called in for tea and cake. Staff helpful and reasonable selection of food. Accommodating with lemon for tea, scone OK. Comfy sofa although decor is not very inspired.

Came here Saturday morning for breakfast with friends who were visiting from Cyprus. Service and staff were excellent and very attentive but the food wasn’t great. I’m probably more fussy than most as I’m a chef myself but the food was just adequate with the black pudding being over cooked and very dry. Despite this it was very busy just a shame the food wasn’t great

There is a large car park which provided easy access but there appeared to be only one disabled parking spot. Entry to most of the site was easy though some areas had steps. There was a disabled toilet in the cafe. The food was good and filling but of the ‘cafe’ style rather than gourmet.

I really used to love this place. My husband and I go regularly because we love that we can take our very well behaved puppy in for breakfast. He always waits so patiently for his breakfast which is a good thing because the wait can be rather lengthy.

Ordered breakfast and after 25 mins of waiting asked where my food was to be told she forgot to put order through! So we left

My partner and I went for lunch last weekend and was less than impressed by the cafe staff. We ordered our meal which was okay, however, I when I asked for salad dressing to go on our salad, I was met by a feeling of irritation from the staff who reluctantly said they would bring us some. It never arrived. Then as we were eating our meal they started to put the chairs on top of the tables around us, whilst we were eating and blocked the way to the toilets so we couldn’t use them. Not very welcoming or customer friendly, won’t be going back.

The service here is good and quick and I had a Eggs Royale and the egg was supposed to be runny where as it wasn’t too good because it was as if it was boiled, but the rest of the meal was fine all round, but that’s the only time that’s something’s gone wrong for me and I’ve been a lot. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice too because it wasn’t too crowded and it has nice comfy seats and things like sofas that are squishy and made of leather. The staff are pretty kind and are apologetic if they are late in any way. They are kind and the area that they are in also helps if you know it well. The restaurants decoration is also nice because it gives of the vibe of rustic or classic because it’s made of wood and it makes it feel homely.

Popped in with my aunt and had a mini fry breakfast. Perhaps slightly overpriced but a nice little plate of food. Pot of tea that could do with being either slightly bigger or an additional pot of hot water. Overall a pleasant experience.

I was here for a very late lunch and because it was a bank holiday we were told that there would be half and hour wait. Bang on time the food was served and we enjoyed a delicious BLT sandwich with home made coleslaw, a salad garnish and a portion of chips to share. Definitely worth a visit.

I have visited Farmer and friends for both lunch and breakfast. The breakfast is fantastic and I’m sure they only use the best local produce for it to be that nice, lunch was lovely too.

Farmer and friends is a cafe in the Garden centre development in the Bridgnorth Road. We have visited several times and have always enjoyed the food and friendly service. The breakfasts are excellent with sausage bacon and black pudding from the local butcher. Our last visit was just for mid morning coffee and cake but we were not disappointed as the cake was delicious.

This is a friendly establishment with quite a varied menu despite it being on a garden centre site.

Had a visit today to the cafe. It was quite full of people. Not cheap.

We called in on a busy bank holiday.the place was packed but we found a seat and our food came very quickly all freshly cooked and very good. Nice choice of coffee and Tea.

I visited this cafe on the way to seeing friends, was Met by the lovely Naomi who after I explained I was eating healthy accommodated a breakfast to suit my needs, came so beautiful presented and hot. All staff were lovely but most of all Naomi with her excellent customer service skills I work in retail/food myself and was so refreshing to receive these myself. Can’t wait to visit again :) xx

We had a really lovely BLT and the most adorable carrot cake for our lunch. prompt service could not fault it.

Really enjoyed our visit here. It’s been totally revamped since we visited ages back and also extended. Rustic decor, comfy sofas, Warm, comfortable little very food and good service with friendly staff. Perfect for lunch they even sell alcohol. My only criticism is there is only one toilet which isn’t the best plus tables right by the toilets. People never close the door. Looking forward to going again next time we visit the garden centre. I have to say I formed the opinion this place has taken a lot of trade from the expensive cafe at gardenlands. Good for them.

Have visited the cafe many times and always been quite satisfied with the food ( normally ordering "breakfast " themed meals or cakes ) and especially liking the coffee which has always been full of flavour and frothy and creamy . We visited yesterday with my daughter and dad . All of us ordering the special sausage roll and salad , 2 vanilla lattes and a hot chocolate . The drinks were very watery , lattes not frothy or creamy I drank half and ordered a cappuccino in the hope that it would be an improvement but it was just as bad , again I drank about half . The meals arrived , my daughters meal not even placed in front of her , but almost thrown to the side of her by the male waiter . The pastry was dry and hard so we left that , very expensive for essentially a sausage wrapped in pastry and not particularly well presented either . On paying the bill I mentioned the disappointment with the coffees and the young lady on the till did investigate if something different had been used/done but came back saying she was unsure , and no offer of a refund , one other observation worth mentioning is the cakes on offer are not all covered, and are on display where customers queue to place orders , so are open to coughs , sneezes and people touching !

Nos visita este café regularmente y la comida está bien. . . Aunque un poco caro. en porciones a veces puede ser bastante pequeño. No excesivamente entusiasta en el jefe como siempre parece ser que rondan como si conseguimos nada más que ser y nada más que hacer. Una preocupación enorme es que no hay wifi disponible. . . . . . un dolor en el cuello si tienes trabajo que hacer o simplemente quieres tener una nariz en la web aunque tiene un café. La mayoría de los demás cafés, etc. consigue ofrecen WIFI sin demasiados problemas, así que creo que este lugar necesita para ponerse un poco. En general no está mal, supongo, pero nada a destacar. El personal (principalmente jóvenes) ha sido siempre amable y aunque educado.

I took my elderly mother and aunt here for lunch today it was our 1st visit so not sure if it was table service but as I could see a considerable queue at the counter I grabbed some menus made our choice and waited for at least 15 mins while 1 harassed young man attempted to take food orders whilst several other members of staff busied around talking amongst themselves and failing to make eye contact. Eventually my turn came and having had lots of time to watch the food coming from the kitchen I could see that the bread was of the thickly sliced farmhouse variety so I asked if the cheese on toast option was 2 slices he said that it was so I said that in that case as it was a large portion it would be enough for 2 people and for myself I ordered eggs Benedict drinks were 2 coffees an 1 tea this modest order came to £17.50! as I walked away I checked the receipt and could see that it specified cheese on toast 'just one' I approached the till and waited again until I could ask him to clarify if indeed I would be getting 2 slices to which he replied yes. When the order came out 1 slice of cheese on toast and eggs Benedict arrived I told the waitress that I had ordered 2 so she went back to get another in the meantime I started my lunch to say it was poor quality is putting it mildly the muffin was dry the egg watery and the sauce was like wallpaper paste with a slice of hard bacon all plonked on the place with a handful of greenery poor value at £6 when the other slice of cheese on toast came out I said to the waitress that I was not able to eat my lunch told her why and she took it away. She came back 5mins later and placed 6 x £1 coins on the table. Altogether a miserable experience I take my relatives out on a Saturday and it is the highlight of the week as they look forward to a pleasant lunch I'm happy to pay more for good food and service but this is obviously not the place to come its overpriced inadequately staffed with bad food

Having previously visited for coffee and vowed to return to sample the food, my partner and I popped in for breakfast. We weren't disappointed. The extensive brunch menu was excellent - with traditional favourites and something a little different too. I opted for Spanish broken eggs, whilst my partner had a more traditional Full English breakfast. The cafe was busy - but it's roomy and so didn't feel crowded and the wait for food was reasonable. The food was delicious and the portions more than adequate. There were a few naughty children roaming around, which was a shame, but on the whole it was a very positive experience and we will definitely be back again very soon.

We've often walked straight past this café having visited the adjacent pet shop or garden centre (both of which are excellent by the way) but, not realising they allow dogs, haven't ventured in.Last Sunday however we asked ... and were delighted to find we were welcome.Inside the place is large, airy and well laid out ... with some very comfortable sofas and chairs.We only wanted a snack so opted for tea, coffee, a sausage sandwich and eggs benedict.Service was quick, polite and efficient. My only minor gripe was that although the sausages were tasty and of good quality, the bread wasn't buttered and nor was there any on the table, so my sandwich was a little dry.

Had a really lovely tasty breakfast one full breakfast and a farmers rarebit all made with fresh farm produce and very tasty . The staff were all really nice and very friendly and helpful.

Popped in for Sunday morning breakfast. Cold insipid bacon with white fat (never any excuse for that as far as I'm concerned!!) in sandwich & watery poached eggs. All came out very quickly which is never a good sign. Nice building and bread was good but for £11, including one pot of tea for two, won't be rushing back. Shame as had heard good things.

The food and service here today was exceptional thanks to all the staff,The large breakfast was everything you could ask for I had the black pudding I have never seen square black pudding before but I certainly will be eating it again now my favourite place for Breakfast

The staff here make a simple menu special, they are friendly and welcoming giving the feeling that they love their job and want you to return. The food was great, we had a simple brunch but it was well cooked, freshly cooked and hot.

Have stopped of here a few times whilst waiting for car to cleaned. Good coffee and a great range of cakes. Have never eaten a meal there however menu reads well and food coming out of the kitchen looks good. Service is very efficient and friendly.

Service was very good and the cake and drink that we had was very nice would certainly call here again next time we are in the area

Lime and courgette cake was beautiful very moist and full of flavour.Hazelnut mocha cake equally as good demolished within seconds!Always pleasant staff and good service. Good menu, lovely coffee and quirky touches.Love visiting when we go to the garden centres

we have been coming to this lovely place for a few years and each and every time we have had good food, pleasant staff and wonderful tea/coffee/hot cocoaI would recommend making a trip just to try them, but if you are driving by you should definitely stop and partake

I've been coming here for a while now and it is clearly taking off. Food and service are excellent. You see the whole range of Customers which means they have pitched their menu and surroundings/ambience to be attractive to all.

I have been to this establishment on quite a few occasions the staff are always very friendly and very helpful, the food is always good and comes out hot, the cups of tea they serve is the best I've had , I've had the breakfasts and the sandwiches, on different visits, they're all very tasty , this is a good place to lunch or have breakfast and relax, the place is very clean. I will definitely be visiting again.

Came here for breakfast with my son after many recomendations and we were not disapointed. We both had the large breakfast and it had everything on it including home made pigs pudding and lovely fried bread. The sausages were really tasty and everything was cooked to perfection. The cafe has a lovely atmosphere and was obviously popular. The breakfast was not the cheapest around but we both agreed it was the best one we had had and well worth the little bit extra.

Popped in with my wife as we had been to a local concert, great service and top quality food. Very well laid out spacious dining area. Will definitely be back.

Had breakfast here on my daughters birthday recently. The large breakfast was excellent with black pudding, tomatoes, friend bread, eggs, sausage, beans and bacon with a side of toast for £7 with a mug of tea it represented good value. I didn't need to eat again until late afternoon. Kids had bacon and sausage sandwiches on doorstep crusty bread again very nice and filling. If you closeby and you are hungry try Farmer and Friends you won't be disappointed.

Popped in for coffee. The cafe is large and clean and very pleasant. We didn't order food, but we were very tempted as the menu looked lovely and the smell of cooking was nearly irresistible! Excellent coffee and friendly staff - we will be making a return visit soon.

we love going here for breakfasts the staff are so lovely and the foods cooked fresh for you as you wish, the place is spotlessly clean and very spacious so your not all sat on top of each other. its by dolittles pet store and a garden centre would defo recommend
