I enjoy seeing Alonte. She's a perfectionist and always aims/delivers A1 service w/her craft. Also the front desk staff is on top of it! Professional, knowledgeable, informative. I've been a customer of EWC for a few years, visited 4 locations & they are the ONLY ones who hv informed me on how to get points, the app, etc. My fav location is on Grande.

This business is not at all accommodating and does not appreciate their customers. They also don’t treat their workers well. I arrived to my 9am appt literally at 9:09am, after fighting traffic and they told me I could not be serviced due to their 9 min late policy or some such foolishness that is posted on their website. As I was driving away I called the Grand Ave location to request that my money be refunded as I had purchased a package. I was told that there was a $25 fee to cancel my future services and get an in-store credit or a gift card to go to one of their other locations. What a scam! Basically, they keep your money and satisfaction is no guarantee. I don’t even think that it is legal to take your money and deny you service. Don’t go to the European Wax Center, don’t buy their package deals and don’t refer any friends, I regret making all three mistakes. I am reporting this to the attorney general as a scam. Let the buyer beware!!!’

Marissa has been caring for me for some time now. She always does a wonderful job.

My first few waxes there were wonderful but the wax specialist I went to is no longer there. The past two wax appointments I had were horrible. I got a Brazilian and a lower leg wax (lower leg includes knees, feet and toes per the website). The specialist said that I could add on the toes when I asked her to do them for an extra fee and also wasn’t going to do the butt stop that is included in the Brazilian. She had missed a LOT of hair on my lower leg which I pointed out and instead of doing the reverse strips to try to get them and she said no. It was poor service, I would not recommend.

I booked an appointment for a couple services. On the day, they told me that I couldn’t get my lower legs touched up here because I had got them done somewhere else. However, on the phone when she booked my appointment, she assured me that I could do this.

Appointment started 50 minutes late and then the esthetician rushed my service. When I got home the were a lot of long hairs in the “waxed” area.

She was fun and easy to chat with- will definitely book with her again

SERENITY NOW! nicole no longer works at this establishment and the receptionist was not able/allowed to give me any recommendations, so i delayed rebooking. after a week or two,~ i was beginning to look and feel like a yeti. i bit the bullet and rescheduled for earliest available time slot. serenity was my wax specialist, and she IS an absolute pro. the only discomfort was the pain i inflicted on myself for going two weeks over🙄 book now, thank me later

I love this EWC location! I switched to EWC from Wax in the city and I'm glad I did. I go to Eloise and she is the sweetest kindest person. Very friendly and she takes her time and is very thorough. My underarms and lip always come out very smooth when she does it. I would definitely recommend this location if you're looking for a wax.

I initially thought it was a good experience but then I went home and there was a big patch of hair that they just left behind. I didn’t pay $72 for that. I’m beyond disappointed.

Eloise is a gifted wax specialist! She takes time to pay attention to small details that make all the difference. 10/10 recommend asking for her. I wasn’t planning on buying a package when I went in, but I bought one after she was my specialist!

Came home and had to wax myself again. A lot of hair was left behind in easily visible areas. Customer service wasn’t great either.

Alanté made me feel so comfortable while waxing my eye brows. She also educated me on the wax and other products that will be helpful for my skin. Y'all know i had to go buy it. I also decided to get my chin/lips and legs wax. Think I might try arm pit next. Sounds like waxing is the thing to do vs razor. I called in last min and was able to get in with no problem same day

This edit is for the management at EWC St. Paul. I am editing my original 5 star review from over a year ago. I have been a client at this location for well over a year. I saw one particular wax specialist only. She was the best. She had moved on from the company, however I wasn't notified by EWC of the change. The only reason I found out was I had called to change my appointment time and I was told she was no longer there and they already placed me with someone else. The reason I'm upset about this is I'm a bit shy and waxing of any kind is an intimate act. It's important to find someone you like and build that relationship over time. I understand people leave, however I feel EWC should have told clients of that change and given us a choice in how WE wanted to proceed, if we wanted to see another waxer within EWC or not. No one was given that choice, and I'm grateful I found out the way I did. If I had gone in without this knowledge and realized another person scheduled for my service, I would have walked out. No offense at all to who they would have rescheduled me with...I'm sure they're great at what they do, it's just the fact of how this was handled. To put it bluntly, if you had the same person ripping your hair out of your nether-regions for years and then suddenly you walk into a room where you are about to get naked and it's a total stranger who is going to do that for you now and you weren't told anything...how happy would you be about that? I don't know what happened here, but I want to make sure everyone knows the one star is for the management and how this was handled. Everyone in that salon works hard. I've seen exasperated front desk people over the years who try to muddle through when the computer systems go down on a busy Saturday morning. I've seen waxers step in and help with front desk duties because the front desk representatives are overwhelmed. I've also heard of the lack of management and leadership just by sitting in the lobby waiting for service, listening to the employees. I have never seen a manager or supervisor on site to assist or support the staff. Ever. Not in the years I have been a client there. All this is to say it's really a shame. Management, do better. Do better by your employees and do better by the clients who support your business.

Did not leave the room while I disrobed. The tables are very high and feel like a doctor’s visit. Not a relaxing experience at all.

I’ve been twice now since Teegan left and I have been majorly disappointed. My last and final time at this location was yesterday…I literally have two different eyebrows and I don’t think anything was done to the left one…and I have an event tomorrow.

I have been going here for the past 3 years. My favorite wax specialist was Tegan but unfortunately, she isn’t there anymore. The last time I got a wax done was with Eloise. She did a very good job and very detailed with her work. I will be back to see Eloise soon.

Getting wax is strangely an enjoyable experience. I know that I’ll be going in and seeing my dear waxer Eloise who will chat with me and ask me how things have been going. I feel comfortable and safe chatting with her and being waxed by her. The Brazilian and underarm wax she does is impeccable. While I do hate the tweezing part, she gets every little hair. It makes me sure that I am leaving knowing a great service was completed. I also never feel pressured to buy products but she always recommends some great ones. Thanks Eloise for your great work!
