First time having something to eat,no complaints at all, value for money....

Lovely food and friendly staff.

We had a lovely lunch today and want to bring our grandchildren later in the week beacuse our visit was so excellent. The girl who chatted to us when we came in was very nice and helped us decide what we wanted by recommending the soup of the day which my husband had. He loved his little cup of soup and said his sandwich was crunchy and tasty. He's not a fan of spice so this was the best meal for him. I decided to treat myself with eggs benedict with mushrooms and spinach which is now my new favourite way to eat spinach. The waitress who had been serving us was funny and kind. She made sure we were having a good meal when she brought us some water so I could have my medication. Bless her. They got busy a few times while we sat and enjoyed the atmosphere but the staff were always smiling. She said we could leave a review using something on the table but I don't like all them code things so I said I'd write a review on my computer. She also gave us a paper with her name on so we could mention her but we've lost it.

A fantastic place for breakfast in the middle of barnsley. Can't recommend it enough!

First visit to Barnsley since market reopened, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was complemented nicely with the lunch special of soup and a half panini. A great deal . The service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing. Thank you .

As it was a family birthday, for once we had more than a drink at this dog friendly bar lounge. As a light lunch; We had the Skakshuka, Flatbread with Beetroot and Feta, Lounge Eggs. All were good and were washed down with Elderflower Spritzer, Merlot and Diet Tonic (for the driver). Add in friendly staff and it was a pleasant experience.

Great place, lovely food, separate gluten-free menu, lots of precautions for food sensitivities/allergies - big thumbs up for that!

We absolutely love coming here as a family. Food Is good, prices are fair and atmosphere is lovely. Our go-to restaurant when we're out in Barnsley centre.

Brilliant vegan menu. Quirky place and friendly staff.

The food was great. We decided to eat here because the vegan and gluten free options were good. We were in town for the national kickboxing tournament and it seemed like a great option. The problem was when the food was brought up to the loud announcement of "WHO IS THE VEGAN????", maybe a bit of banter? When I said it was me he said that he hated vegans. He proceeded to try and joke about vegans with the other 6 members of our party and he ended up just seeming like a clown without an audience. One of my friends told him he should probably watch himself but he continued anyway. He compared vegans to people who drink decaff, while a poor attempt at humour he's basically admitting he hasn't the slightest idea what veganism is. I don't pay for food and expect a berating from the staff who have no idea what they are trying to even joke about. Just very poor boomer humour. Would have been 5 stars all round otherwise. The food was great. Everyone was friendly until the weird vegan bashing started. I wouldn't be in the mood for it on a regular day, let alone hours before my fight. Do better next time. Hate people who try to make ethical choices all you want but keep that childish behaviour to yourself.

Always have a good time at Falco, an excellent burger and an excellent gluten free menu, would that all the places intarn were as good, or interested.

Such a cool place to have a coffee with someone.

Really nice pub restaurant in the centre of town. Relaxed atmosphere, great food & drink, quirky decor & lovely service from friendly staff make it the perfect place to visit any time of day.

I come here once every couple of months and the service and atmosphere is always good. The veggie / vegan menu is great with done really good choices. This time I visited, I had bang bang cauliflower and it was delicious. I like that you can order from the table. Nice place to eat in town.

A lovely glass of wine and 3 Tapas. Took me from humble Barnsley to the costa del sol. Just a shame the Falco lounge couldn’t have provided the sunshine. Absolutely superb. 6/5

Food was lovely it just was pretty busy so the drinks service was quite slow. Hopefully this was a one off and we would enjoy visiting again!

First visit here today. Lovely clean surroundings, and efficient staff. However, I was rather underwhelmed by the food. I had a cumberland sausage sandwich which consisted of two nice sausages, but on two thin slices of basic white bread which was past it's best and going hard. Also ordered a portion of fries, these were okay, although a bit cold and not very plentiful. I would go again for a drink but probably would not order food.

New Year’s Day we ordered food which was delicious the service was fantastic and really quick. Would definitely recommend eating here or even a drink.

Wouldn't recommend. Food wasn't good quality and tasted like it had been cooked in old fat. Pricing was expensive too Floor is divided between different levels making access for anyone with mobility issues awkward. *Edit* Forgot to mention that our party was also accused of not having paid for meals that were ordered, an accusation that was continued despite proof of payment (Google Pay transaction receipt) being provided.

Not impressed with the company's management. 3 staff front of house running around like loons, one person taking orders and making drinks at the same time, all while huge queue waiting to get in and then to be served. Dread to think what it's like in the kitchen!! This happens all the time on my visits so obviously cost cutting method.Poor staff. Also soft drink for our children consisted a glass FULL of ice for £3 and dripple of pop, another cost cutting method. The food was only average, which is understandable considering the pressure they must be under. The sweet corn & cheese friters on the veggie breakfast were far too spicy for children and some adults to eat, with no reference to spices and chillies on menu, tried to discuss this with the overrun member of staff but just got waffle. Overall disappointed. Falco management company do better!!

I've been a few times just for drinks and had a lovely time with the atmosphere. Today I went in for food with my partner and dog. The food was amazing and great value. They also went out of their way to cook my dog some plain chicken, put it in a dog bowl and serve it with our food. When I thanked the lady she said "it's the least I could do", which made me feel even my most ridiculous request (a meal with my dog) was nothing! I cannot recommend enough

I ordered 'Rosie's Truffle Chicken' which was quite tasty, but I had to really search to find any chicken in it. In the end I found three very miniscule pieces. The name of the dish and the description are extremely misleading and at over £12 it is very overpriced for what is basically potatoes in a mushroom sauce. I was offered an alternative dish, but was short of time so didn't take up the offer.

Always a relaxed atmosphere in this chain and Barnsley is no different. Location is great and always welcoming. We regularly stop for tapas to share, which is tasty and a drink. Could be considered a little pricey, but I guess everywhere is at the moment!?

First visit with my 1 year old grandson. The staff were very friendly and welcoming which I appriciated.

DIRT EVERYDAY!!! And everywhere! On the tables, on the floors ! STUFF ARE RUDE AND THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO TALK WITH PEOPLE Expecially that Fat woman who don't know how to dress. It's so hard to wipe it off some tables?! After people go ?! Very difficult or disinterested!

I went into the Falco Lounge this morning for a coffee. I had my 4kg mini dachshund with me. I sat indoors with Walter my dog, he was sat on my knee when a worker approached me and said "all 4 paws must be on the ground" I replied "okay I will sit oudoors". I went outside and waited for the coffee. A man brought out the coffee, I asked for sugar, he just tutted and walked off....so rude. My little dog jumped on my knee, then the woman who spoke to me indoors about Walter came out and said "all 4 paws must also be on the floor outdoors due to allergies"(nobody was sat within 10 feet of me, Walter had an arran jumper on with just his head on show....so no hairs going anywhere, plus he does not malt). Then to Cap it all the coffee was FREEZING cold!!! This is not a dog friendly place....in fact not anything friendly place. I will not be visiting there again....definitely the 5 star Old George for us next time.

I usually really enjoy my visits here but I went this lunchtime and was disappointed by the experience. I loved the sesame chicken noodle salad but the portion was so small! I probably had 5 pieces of chicken the size of a ten pence piece. The whole salad was way smaller than one of the salads from any of the supermarkets. At £12.50 that was definitely not good value for money. What a shame........

I love it here. The decor is quirky and interesting, the staff are friendly and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. They also have a great range of GF options.

Went to a sip and create class. Found it good that I could order from my seat while I continued with the watercolour class

Nice atmosphere. They had a small area for kids to play. I appreciate that because my daughter let me enjoy my coffee in peace.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Good setting on the square. We ate outside on a warm day. The service was excellent and the food - a mezze salad bowl and a chicken noodle salad - very enjoyable.

Really good experience at Falco Lounge this morning. We reserved a table for 10 people, staff were friendly and positive, food was delicious and some of the portion sizes were very generous! Thanks so much, as my nephew said 'best pancakes he had ever had'

Friendly service good food, As soon as I clicked my order, They came with side plates. Within 5/10 mins our Tapas was served very well cooked and very tasty just what we needed.

Had a seat upstairs in the lounge, it was packed downstairs as it was raining, seating outside for when its dry. Decent food but slightly pricey.

This place has never let me down when I've gone with friends or family for something to eat or just called in for a drink. The staff are always pleasant and meets you with a smile and a warm hello.

Last time I went in this was the new year and I haven't been in since. Member of staff was rude when I asked about the cocktails as they had changed since last time I had been in. After ordering and she took the money she blately rolled her eyes and this was a member of management! Used to like going in here but never again. I'll spend my money at places with better hospitality.

We went to Falco lounge this evening as family of 5 (myself being Gluten Free). First things first, nowhere I have ever eaten has had such a amazing choice of gluten free options. Most other places offer less than an A5 side of GF options but here I got a full A3 menu with loads of options and they are clearly very clued up on how allergies should be dealt with! I chose the pulled brisket chilli with chorizo and it was beautiful. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and the kids meals came with a free drink and a little starter of carrots cucumber and hummus which was a nice touch. The atmosphere was calm and the decor was quirky and unique. We will definitely be returning here and I've heard they do takeaway too which I'll definitely use given the limited GF choices from other takeaways. Thanks for a nice family meal!!

Excellent food and great service but I really object to being asked for a tip when ordering online (but at the table), before the food is served. Let's not end up like the USA!

Called in for a few drinks, abit retro but service, staff and drinks were spot on.

After waiting an age to be served 2 leg wines and a pint cost nearly 39 pounds how is that justifiable!!!! Good mind to inform trading standards

We were welcomed warmly by a young female member of staff and seated in the lower dining area with open doors out onto the main plaza. We were told that we could order via the QR code app and found a system to be effective in user friendly. I will drinks arrived fairly quickly and we were glad to see the range of food on the menu and the prices were very reasonable. I opted for the three Tapas meal deal and my partner had a buttermilk chicken burger. In all honesty, we waited a little more than we would’ve liked (30 minutes) however, just as we were about to ask food came out with an apology from the waitress. All in all a lovely Saturday lunch at reasonable prices. The only issue (and this seems to be a thing with most restaurants now) was paying over £3 for a glass of Coke. Not withstanding this, we will certainly be back!

Really chilled atmosphere. Staff friendly. Ordered food at table using QR code - much easier when solo. Opted for buttermilk pancakes with blueberries which were delicious. The coffee was amazing - I had an Americano. Lovely decor, nice to sit and watch the world go by

I've had a few visits here, once for drinks and a few times for food, today was very busy but this did not make my experience bad, infact I was so impressed with the staff and also the quality of our meal we had even though it was so busy, food was excellent and service was too, well done Falco Lounge

Return of the cold burger. How does Falco cook orders? We had Bang Bang Chicken and a Bacon Cheese Burger. Bang Bang Chicken was lovely and piping hot, the burger and fries were slightly warmer than Luke warm. Not the first time it's been this cold. Should we have to ask for it hot when we order? Poor from you, Falco. Definitely not Lounge standard.

Visited recently with a friend. I needed GF options and I was surprised at how much choice was available. GF has to be ordered at the bar to ensure that it’s ordered correctly. Ordered butterfly chicken which had a GF crumb with chips (cooked in a separate fryer). It’s was delicious! Nothing was too difficult, service was brilliant. Will return to try something else.

Two visit within a week both great. First during eater holidays so it was very busy and told it'd be a 30mins wiat on food which was fine. You order at the bar or via a qr code which I couldn't get to work which is my phones issue not the code! So at least you have options. Had halloumi burger and chips both times. Lovely. Chips tasty. Staff friendly. Would come again, always know there's something I can eat here. And they do a decent kids offering. Have to often use the bottom door as there's stairs from bar area down and stairs to toilets upstairs so I don't know how you access toilets if disabled? Do you have to go to library and use the lift?

Lovely food, nice atmosphere, staff helpful, bit pricy for non alcoholic drinks.

This is a great establishment it has it all from inside comfortable seating and clean with good happy smiling staff. The price is relatively cheap, and there are some good seals to be had on the menu. There is an outside seating area and again lots of comfortable seats and lots of them. The food is delicious 😋 and the drinks are from normal to exotic. It is disabled friendly so no issues there. I recommend this establishment and give it credo for the decor and the plants inside and outside. Keep up the good work. You are an asset to Barnsley town centre.

Staff running about, no time for customer services, obviously needs more.. food took quite some time, it did not come together as ordered- and was cold. Lovely looking place, needs a deep clean, shelf’s, chairs, tables, where dirty once you looked beyond the top of the table. Looking up at all the big light fittings and interiors… filthy.. first and last visit

Called in as had heard good reviews - first impressions I wanted to leave as the table we sat at was that sticky the menu ripped as I picked it up - the food and drinks where ok but not anything that would make me want to go back - on a plus note the staff where attentive and pleasant

Staff are friendly and nice. The drinks are nice and have plenty of options but the food lets it down majorly. It is some of worst I’ve had. Steak needs a chainsaw to cut through, halloumi fries are undercooked and rubbery. Everything tastes microwaved

I visited today on my own. I was seated immediately. I ordered a large coke, poached eggs and smoked salmon with sides of bacon and hash browns. Altogether it came to £16.60. The coke alone was £3.10 - very over priced for a coke that isn’t even a full pint. The food was nice enough (hence the 3 stars) but not worth the £13.50 I spent on it. The atmosphere was lacking. It felt like a makeshift cafe and it didn’t help that there were kids running around and screaming. I enjoyed the food but the price and atmosphere has put me off returning.

Called in for breakfast and a drink on the start of my holidays. Staff are always so friendly and chirpy. The food was outstanding. Presentation was perfect as was the quality of everything on the plate . 1st breakfast I've had there but it certainly won't be the last .

Went in for a drink for the first time this afternoon, whilst in tarn shopping and celebrating my birthday. As soon as we walked in, the decor, atmosphere, and staff were brilliant. We randomly met a couple from Sheffield and chatted away and got another drink. In the end we went upstairs and ordered food. Tapas and a burger. The food was lovely and it was quite different looking out of the window as the sky was getting darker and hard to believe all the new buildings and lights were where the old market used to stand. I was even served a gorgeous Happy Birthday doughnut which was stunning. Will definitely be going again and had such a good relaxed, but funny day. Thank you all.
