Great portion size, food is brilliant - vegetarian and vegan options - it is a quick takeout place and filling portions of food. It is great to walk-in and take away, service is very quick and friendly. No parking is available, perfect to walk and grab your falafel wraps or salad bowls. Food felt fresh and I'd love to back there again for a quick lunch

Just the best falafel in London. I was gutted when the branch on Cannon Street closed, but delighted to discover that the Carter Lane branch near St Paul’s remains open. The falafel is second to none, and the range of lovely salads to go with it is what makes it so wonderful. At £5.75 for falafel in pitta, this is a bargain lunch, and one that I’m prepared to walk 15 minutes each way for. Go now.

Me encantó.

Good falafel place next to St Pauls. There is normally a queue at lunchtimes, but that is because the food is good and the queue moves quickly anyway. The quality was fantastic and I was really impressed with my food - it tasted like the ingredients were fresh. I'd recommend.

Gran comida a la hora del almuerzo, siempre ocupada pero la cola se va rápidamente. A un precio razonable para Londres. Mi única crítica sería dejar de usar los platos de plástico y comenzar a usar cartón.

Absolutely amazing - smashes other options out of the park (for example, the peppers here are big and juicy). Ingredients are fresh AND good quality. Service is fast, friendly and personal. Had 10 brown pita falafels over a period of a few months now and every one has been demolished in a seconds. I would advise only a touch of the chilli/hot sauce as it's too spicy for my liking and can ruin an otherwise perfect product - but hey if you like it hot.... They accept credit/debit contactless cards too and have a few seats. They could do with adding a nicer area to sit and eat but prices are cheap (under a fiver) I guess so makes up for it.

I've been getting falafel pittas from here for about 2 years. They are consistently excellent. Great tahini, hummus a nice spicy chilli sauce. The salad is always fresh and crunchy - I love the lentil salad and the falafel are perfect. Can't really fault it and the staff are always friendly, and prepare the pitta perfectly, making it fairly easy to eat.

A small falafel shop serving salad and stuffed pita at lunchtime in central London. If you want in on the action expect to queue a while at peak times and make sure you watch the servers make your lunch (as they always get my order wrong) but it's completely worth it. The salad boxes are large and the pittas well stuffed - both options equally delicious. I'd highly recommend a lunch time treat from falafel house.

Visited here on a recommendation, I had the falafels in pitta with everything. Portion was huge, so much so I struggle to believe it's only 500 calories as stated on the wall but I'm not complaining it was delicious. Because it's so full the sauce is all on the bottom so it takes a while to get this, they really need to add this all through the pitta. Only other complaint is that the service is so quick, if you haven't been before and don't know what / how to order it can be a bit overwhelming. I went for what the guy in front of me had as I felt I'd be holding people up if I didn't order immediately!

Super rude staff, the food is great but these guys just literally ruined my day. They are under trained, impatient and they don't understand what the customer wants. The salads are lovely and the service is really fast but the experience of today was dreadful, I'm really disappointed and even though I'm vegan and I loved their food, I will not be returning unless they give a better customer service to their daily recurrent customers. 9 stars for food, no stars for staff.

The falafel here is great, I've tried another falafel place in the same area and this one probably wins it for me on competitive pricing and being nearer to the office. Always feel full after and the falafels were delicious and warm with a lovely colourful range of salad.

I picked Falafel House at random, not being from London and only being here for an afternoon work meeting. So glad I did! The salad bowls have a little bit of numerous fresh salads, plus hummus, falafel, a choice of topping (I had olives and feta) and fresh pitta bread. All topped off with chilli and tahini sauce. It was amazingly tasty. It also is a good price for being fresh, high quality and located in an upmarket part of central London. If this place was in Birmingham I'd eat here at least once a week.

The obvious comparison would be Pilpel (which I love) and so I was expecting to be disappointed. There was a queue out the door when I went for lunch around 1:15 which I thought was a good sign – the service isn’t slick like Pilpel, the premises seemed a little grotty, and you won’t be given a free falafel while you order BUT, it is a little bit cheaper and I didn’t notice any compromise on taste or quantity – If I wanted to show a falafel virgin how it should be done, I’d probably take them to Pilpel, but for a satisfying and reasonably priced lunch for myself, I’d go back to Falafel House.

Good food ruined by sarcastic staff member. With a menu that does not seem straightforward on first sight, the staff I member dealt with had a cynical rude tone throughout the time she explained it. She was similarly rude to other people that walked in so I didn't take it personally. However when it came to a customer she liked she made a point of giving him extra stamps on his loyalty card. She also used swear words to another staff member throughout the time I was eating.

The food is really nice, I went with a Groupon voucher to the store on Cannon Street and my voucher was quickly accepted. The lady serving me however had a problem with me asking for more lettuce and said she'll come back to it after Ive selected the other salads I wanted but she never did, didn't even ask again. Im not sure I'd spend a fiver for a falafel pitta all the time though. Other than that it was good food!

The City, and in particular the area around Blackfriars, St Pauls and Ludgate Circus has literally hundreds of options for lunch – lots of office workers needing cheap grub makes it a really competitive market. A sure sign that somewhere is good is when there is a queue outside and the Falafel House – tucked away off Ludgate Hill on a quiet road – always has a queue. The reason for the long line is that, at £5.50 for a big salad box, falafel and fresh pitta this place provides exactly what you need. The queue does move but the five-minute wait is worthwhile. Great food, quickly served and reasonably priced
