The staff are very friendly I had pork ribs they tasted so good and meat was so tender and my wife had shredded lamb which also fantastic I highly recommend plus salad and veggie bar keep up good work

Fantastic meal and service🌟 we have the pork cutlet on the specials board, it was so tender and it melted in your mouth, I definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and a delicious meal.

This was our third visit as a group. This time there were 11 of us for lunch which we had in the undercover dining area outside on 6/1/23. The food was excellent and reasonably priced as usual. Always appreciated is the Exeter Hotel's acceptance of BYO bottled wine (with a corkage charge) as a number of group have excellent wine collections and prefer to BYO. We will be back for sure.

We just returned to the Exeter to catch up with friends, the dining area has been refreshed, new furniture providing a spacious dining experience. Mattea was an excellent host and meals all enjoyed and reasonably priced. We will return again.

Four of us enjoyed lunch yesterday at the Exeter hotel , very pleasant dining room clean bright and comfortable chairs . The food was great and staff bright and friendly a good wine list also , we will be back .

Remembered this pub from about 10 years ago, was good then. Don't get to Adelaide that often, so researched online, seemed to have good reviews, so went there. Friendly staff, good environment. Really wanted a great steak, so ordered a scotch with pepper and was not disappointed at all. Recommended.

II have never had a bad meal at this hotel . The staff are always friendly and helpfull , there rump steak is to die for great work guy and girls

Good old fashion pub with great outdoor space offering some good deals on each week night. Thursday night was 250 gram rump steak with chips and salad very tasty and even bettter with a good red.

Came in for lunch last weekend and the meals were poor quality. Garlic bread (starter) came to our table 15min after our mains. My partner had roast beef that was tough and the veggies were a soggy mess. I had a steak, chips were soggy ,the steak was over cooked and tasteless and the socalled bearnaise sauce was not eatable just tasted like sweet melted butter. I would have felt guilty feeding this food to my dogs.

We had a wonderful lunch with our adopted daughter and her friend on Friday. We sat outside and it was so pleseant. The music was just the right volume. The temperature was wonderful and the food and service were both fantastic. We would personally like to thank Michael and Emma who cleaned the table, bought the food out and also helped with the drinks. What a wonderful lunch in a wonderful settting

Tweaker had been helping me with the yacht. All pretty and clean back in the water. Had been told of the hotel by club members. Not disappointed. Couple of beers and a fillet mignog medium great. Lots of people would not know about the old oval bar. Terrazzo, now called polished concrete. Great venue, good food and service. Cheers Beachy

We had a lovely lunch with our daughter in the beer garden. The food was very good and the company excellent. We seem to have been forgotten in the beer garden. No-one came to clear our plates and to be honest we could have left without even paying for the bill if we were dishonest. We did have a lovely lunch and would deffinately return

Try and find a place that can cater for the whole family, look no further, finally a pub with fantastic normal and vegan meals, highly recommended

Ordered ‘roast if the day’ which was Turkey. It was from a processed turkey roll. They dumped enough gravy on top to serve 4. Salad bar disappointing.

I ordered a medium to medium rare steak with mushroom sauce and chips for $36-. It took a very long time for my food to come, but it was the quality of what I was presented with that left me very disappointed. The steak was cooked beyond well done, resulting in a very dry and tough steak... extremely unpleasant & left half uneaten as a result. My meal had no mushroom sauce or any type of gravy, despite being advertised and ordered. The flavour &moisture of a sauce would’ve helped mask the terrible steak. No explanation or apology was given.

Genuinely friendly customer service. Cosy atmosphere for a pub bistro - nice & light, clean eating area. Food was good with reasonable prices. Salad/veg bar is average but the mains definitely make up for this - enormous portions. Vegan & vegetarian menu has some tasty...

The exeter is a family friendly hotel,with great meals. I have eaten here on many occassions,and have not had a bad meal yet. They have specials which are many to chose from. The menu selection is good along with the prices. Highly recommend

3 adults & 2 kids, the seafood plate was nice, hot & plenty to eat. Kids spag bog wasn’t raved about (pre made pasta sauce according to my 15 yo daughter). Plenty of space to eat & service was good. Will come back!!

Went in on Monday night for our son’s 10th birthday dinner (4 Adults, 2 kids). I wish we went to the Palais as previously planned even though their main bistro was closed. The food is overpriced for what you get, the salad bar needs serious...

Excellent bar and good food at a competitive price. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Worth a visit for those needing good food and good beer.
