Simon from Excellar let us know about online wine tastings where you order the wine upfront and then via Instagram video hear from the vineyard owners and drink while you learn! Was a lovely evening ... i could almost imagine i was in SA. I know more evenings are already planned! Highly recommend Excellar for wine and delivery service and their virtual events!

A huge choice of excellent wines and a knowledgeable and friendly owner. Pizzas are also much better than the slop you get out of the van that has recently been pitching up on the pavement directly opposite.

My partner and I ate lunch here today, fantastic pizza and a nice glass of Prosecco! Quirky little shop, fantastic service .... definitely recommend!!!

This did indeed provide excellent pizzas and in fact very good coffee, but from a note I fixed to the door it says they are closing so that appears to be the end of that. what a pity

Yesterday I had the most wonderful pizza here. Accompanied by a cheeky glass of red wine and afterwards a lovely latte.

I am usually there at lunch time when I order a coffee and a pizza. The pizzas are freshly cooked with good quality ingredients and fresh herbs. They are the best that I have ever had.

My go-to place for quality wine in Claygate. A great and eclectic selection. Don't miss the small vineyard Champagne they sell here, it's good value and delicious.

I have been to this Off License several times for a wine tasting. These are hosted by Simon who's exremely knowledgeable on wines. These evenings vary sometimes they are wines of a country sometimes a grape, sometimes a blend. Besides the wines he also serves a single dish which is always taaty. These have always been with an organisation and I don't know whether he holds them for the general public. If not organise one.

We were looking for a spot to have a light lunch. What a nice break from Starbucks! The setting was quaint - small mismatched tables, bookshelves and wine on display. The food seems to be sourced from local providers - I had the chicken and tarragon pie, which came with a small portion of salad, but was quite nice. My husband had the quiche, which was gooey with cheese. Lovely peppermint tea! Relaxed and enjoyable.

Not really a restaurant but a high quality wine shop also offering tea, coffee, cakes and great pizza. A very welcome something different!

Fabulous Pizza, delivery delay managed very professionally by staff, highly recommended.
