Evergreen Fish Bar in Shropshire

Ordered takeaway ,Asalways service 100/00 lots of meat in our dishes beautiful cooked not too much veg.Flavour fabulous piping hot asalways.

Unfortunately the food was terrible. The main dish was tasteless, the starters were deep fried and really dry. We usually just crack on if the food isn’t great but we couldn’t finish it, it was that bad.

I was very disappointed today with the food. Didn't feel it was value for money at all. Fish was dry, flavorless and not coated with enough batter! It's a shame that the chips are not cooked separately, it is not very progressive! Also did not appreciate the young girl being told off in front of customers for not keeping our food separate, everyone is allowed to make mistakes! I live in Canada, and come back to Ludlow every year to visit family. I always use Evergreen for my fish and chips, unfortunately I won't be any more, and neither will my family!

Special Kung po , was OK very small prawns Cantonese chicken was chicken breast on top of a pile of bean sprouts , very little sauce or flavour. Chilli and salt ribs nice and spicy but out of 5 ribs 2 had only half meat Overall poor and won't go again.

Horrendous food poisoning. My friends have been so sick they've had to call 111 . Avoid at all costs this takeaway!

We collected fish and chips around 6.45 this Saturday evening. They were reasonably busy and the fish & chips were cooked fresh. However, I’m afraid the chips were undercooked and, although the fish inside the batter was cooked and tasty, the batter was soggy!

whist staying in ludlow we decided to call in for a fish supper, waited a while freshly cooked,would reconmend and will use again.

Well this place is very popular, for chinese food and fish & chips. Ordered chinese food and did not have to wait long, staff were very friendly. Food was good but not the best I have had, would go again though. Will be trying the fish & chips too

Best chinese takeaway in Ludlow Had a lovely Chinese meal, really quickly prepared and staff very friendly I had the Shredded Chilli Beef, which is one of my favourite meals of all time and this place was one of my best to date. Thanks I will definitely be back.

This is a chip shop come Chinese take away,having tried both of their style of foods i can honestly say that they are both worth sampling,the fish and chips are well cooked and tasty, the chinese was also cooked well and flavorsome.

Evergreen isn't the best takeaway in town, but it seems to be open most of the time which can be very attractive.The food is okay but rarely delicious but the service is generally very quick. Phone your order in and by the time you arrive it is ready for you.A good standard range of Chinese dishes and reasonable fish and chips.

We found this place after it had been recommended by a couple of ladies who we got talking to and they were right. We only wanted a small snack so had chips and peas and they were very good and definitely filled a hole - very nice food and nice, friendly staff.
