Delicious food as per, but extra delicious and enjoyable this particular time having the extra satisfaction from staff. karl serving the food was very kind and had a great attitude with ourselves and our children especially.

We used to come every week but haven’t been since lockdown. We went in memory of one of our friends. We were greeted by Allan like long lost friends making us feel extremely welcome. Service was quick , waitress was very polite and friendly. Allan went above and beyond to make our Evenwood experience excellent.

Karl the man who works at the carvery was exceptionally helpful with my elderly mum, he helped plate her meal, and advised her on any and all allergy advice. 10/10 customer service, fantastic employee

Impromptu family breakfast. The breakfast was glorious. The best buffet breakfast I’ve had in years!! Hot, fresh and plentiful. Venue was clean and well presented. Staff were pleasant. I will be back

Average . There was no meet and greet even though was a sign to wait to be seated , after 7-8 minutes of waiting decided to take matters in my own hands and ask at the bar . Managed to sort out a table and to place my order . Not too many types of beer , just like 4 or 5 on draft , ordered for lunch one of their 3 course menu listed . Soup was flavourless completely, same with the gravy and cauliflower with cheese. The roast beef was delicious, the mashed potatoes were puffy/creamy delicious. Very nice display of deserts , great atmosphere inside , lovely setup of the roast area .

I have been using Too Good to Go and Evenwood Farm for some time. Recently, I ordered 2 carveries. When I arrived to collect them, there were 2 sealed boxes waiting, each marked "veg". The girl behind the counter asked me what I had ordered, and when I said "2 carveries" she looked confused and said "with meat?" "Yes", said I and showed her my receipt. She then went into the kitchen and came back saying that the waiting meals were mine. Obviously, when I got them home, there was no meat. I tried calling Evenwood Farm, but there was no answer. If I'd wanted a plate of (mainly potatoes) vegetables, I'd have got them out of my freezer and it wouldn't have cost me £9.50! UPDATE: Despite the public answer and despite my having done, as requested and contacted them direct, the Evenwood Farm has not responded to either of my TWO messages. Absolutely terrible customer service. FURTHER UPDATE Finally got a response from Evenwood Farm offering 2 free carvery boxes. I replied saying I would rather have a refund and, guess what? No reply. Shocking. FURTHER UPDATE I had the pleasure of speaking with Charlotte, the manager. She was very apologetic and could not have been more helpful. Faith in humanity restored!

Good pub/restaurant. They have an all you can eat breakfast of a morning and also carvery later on in the day both of which is very nice and the prices are also good. They have a great selection of cakes/deserts which will be a big hit for anyone with a sweet tooth. The place is a descent size and there is plenty of parking but does get busy especially for the carvery so might be worth booking in advance.

Missing salad and coleslaw and cold. Tried contacting restaurant but no answer

Went for lunch for mum's birthday staff were lovely Helen in particular and helped to make the dessert special, nothing was to much Helen was happy to help and the carvery was lovely

This place is the pits. Noisy kids running around everywhere.Long Queues for food and drink and the food ( carvery) is slop! Chef who serves the meat is a right misery guts and is also mean with the meat. Why dont they have a distinctive and orderly dedicated line for food and also one for drink? Is it too hard to implement?????

The service I had this morning was impeccable, I'll start there. We turned up late for the breakfast window, but Carol was having none of that being a problem (legend). She grabbed a menu, and pointed at a table and said that tables yours! To the order point! We had 5 mins to get an order in, and paid for to still hit the last of the breakfast window so off we went and got ordered. Cue Julie in the kitchen! (Legend #2), Julie was due on her break before the lunch session and we said there was no rush and to enjoy her break... but no! Not Julie! This legend comes back from break to smash out some lovely breakfasts before resuming her break. If that isn't epic service, I dunno what is! So here's me, with two fed mini humans, and a chilled Monday afternoon ahead of us... Well played Carol and Julie, keep doing what you're doing, you're amazing!

First time visiting Evenwood Farm, decided on the carvery as it looked really good we (my sister and I) were served by a nice guy named Karl. Took very little time to order at the bar, all the staff in this place were pleasant and had a nice word to say to all. The carvery appeared fresh was plentiful and hot, tasted good too. All in all a very pleasant experience looking forward to next time.

Came in on the 12th July had a carvery which was fresh and lovely. Our sever was Jade who couldn't do enough. Kept out drinks topped up. Took all empty plates etc away once finished. Checked on us to check all was ok and was really friendly. Lovely experience. But definitely a big shout out to Jade

We live in Wales and always pop in here on are way back from visiting the family in Runcorn.. love the food the staff couldn't be more friendly.. ample parking would recommend this to anyone local or just popping over..

Came in yesterday with hubby and kids, our server was jade, she went above and beyond for us. Very friendly and nothing was too much for her. Absolute credit to your team.

Only 3 out of 4 meals have arrived. Rang back and told the other one would arrive asap. That was now a hour ago.

This used to be a lovey places to go for drinks and food, but after my experience to i would not go back even if it was free!! They had no diet drinks no zero drinks, little to non in the zero alcoholic drinks that is disappointing especially when the weather is nice and you fancy something refreshing to drink. I went for the roast and that was just a big disaster as the drinks where there where shrivelled new potatoes, rock hard roast potatoes, when i asked if they where bringing out any more i had to wait 5mins for them and i got give 3 on a plat that had just come out of the fryer so they where chrispy on the out side and concrete on the inside absolutely un eatable, that vegs was disgusting. When they came to clear the table, girl drops all the plats and reminder of what food was left from every ones plats all over the floor, iv been to road side cafes with a better overall food and service. I will not be returning!!

Can't complain about the food, but for a Greene King pub with four handpumps not to have any cask beer is really disappointing.

Thee best carvary I’ve had in ages, was created by the lovely Charlotte at the door who seated me at my table and listened when I requested to be in a quieter area if possible. The food was lovely and fresh and warm. Perfect pre Sunday snooze dinner 🫶🏼

Had a carvery here as a bit of a Sunday treat which was great value,the staff are accommodating and very friendly,got served easily and had a booth.....all in all a great day,will be calling again in the near future.

Called in for a takeaway carvery after being let down in the week by JustEat. Harry and other staff members were fantastic and gave us a free meal. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Evenwood. The food was superb! 😊

Delivery time was fast, not sure how the food arrived just about warm and had to be microwaved, which then ruined the quality of the roast. Didn't read notes left on order and the amout of turkey and ham was pathetic. I normally enjoy my roasts but this was a huge disappointment

Absolutely shocking delivery service! Deivery only picked up 1 of 2 bags and we went without food. Was told after phoning restaurant that the drivers were ‘refusing to deliver’ the food we had already paid for because it was out of their way! Shocking.

Food was excellent but it was to hot indoors to stay after meal .it was cooler in the rain .

Been going here for years, been twice in the last couple of weeks ,first time there was no steak to order and today no mixed grills!. The wife had a carvery last time an the veg was rock hard, I had the burger an it was a let down, dont know whats happened to the place but we wont be returning!!!

Breakfast wasn't anywhere near as good as the other food options here.. Bit disappointed !

Very disappointing We qued for a while and ordered drinks at the bar because previous experience ordering drinks from the app takes too long , to be told we don’t give them at the bar anymore we bring them to the table . We waited 25 minutes and over heard someone asking where their drinks are we heard the woman behind the bar saying we do them in order of order . So we went and got our carvery which also took awhile while waiting for someone to give the. Plates . After returning with the food we could see 3 members of staff at the bar talking not making any drinks so we my husband went and asked how long will our drinks be we’ve waited over half hour . To be told the slips are jamming up . Then why do them that way ? I wouldn’t mind it was bank holiday and was half as busy as a usual Sunday . We then over heard a few people asking where there drinks were that were sat outside. Only then anyone seems to move and make drinks . Needless to say we didn’t order anymore drinks it’s not worth the waiting time .

We cane here for the indoor play area which our 2yo loved. He loved the little soft play area and a small tv showing children's shows, but he also made friends with another child and they entertained each other the whole time we were there. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful, allowing us to move closer to the play area so we could keep an eye on him. Food was good, we had the carvery and it was lovely, good selection and very reasonably priced. The cakes are absolutely epic and delicious, we took them home as we were too stuffed to eat them but didn't want to miss out!

Waited too long for the meal and drink

Good place to grab a carvery, pity there is a price hike on Sundays but I guess that is to be expected, good choice of accompaniments for the meat. Could be a bit more generous on the meat itself though. Atmosphere is decent enough basically it's a carvery pub.

Booked a table for 19:00hrs on a Sunday, no carvery left, just the main menu. A bit disappointed, but the main menu was good.

Six of us had Carverys all the meals were tasty and well presented,five of us had coffee and one had a vanilla slice it was huge,the staff were pleasant and professional a great meal and a great meet up.

Amazing place. Great food and lovely staff. I visit weekly with my family. Great value for money and a pleasure to visit. Pennie and Harry served us today and we're as always amazing.

Had a lovely experience here at Evenwood, friendly, helpful staff and the food was brilliant, plenty of choice on the carvery and accommodated my friend's food choices when she wanted alternatives for dinner.

Normally carvery is great . This time there was a very poor selection of vegetables. Cauliflower cheese had barely any cheese on & was tasteless. Parsnips were limp . The worst was the roast potatoes which looked odd & I guessed were frozen just by the look of them & when I tasted them I was convinced that they were frozen. I left them all after tasting. People have mentioned staff but no one stood out apart from the girl who took our order who looked like they didn’t want to be there & then talked to a member of staff mid order. We won’t be rushing to go back

Very rude waitress who was constantly huffing at us and snapping at us throughout our duration. She refused to take a picture of myself and my family who were celebrating a birthday and ignored us multiple times and was very snappy. She was bringing food out for the tables and was extremely rude

We visited on Sunday evening. As always the staff were friendly and happy to talk to us. Our meal was served promptly and was of excellent quality. Excellent service

Popped in for food and drinks with family website says open till 11pm Fridays.had a lovely meal and was chatting when they rang the bell for last orders at 9pm then started vacuuming around us whilst we where chatting.then was told we are closing at 10 ?

I am a regular at the Pensioners Parties. They are getting too popular with big queues at the tills and carvery. We have found our way around this problem though thanks to my companion. The meals and entertainment are most enjoyable and Carol puts her all into it running smoothly. Thank you and your staff for making it enjoyable.

Awful. Chips and onion rings were chewy. The whole meal was stone cold as if it had all been pre prepared hours earlier and just left on a side to chill.

The staff are amazing. The food was brilliant and i even had happy birthday sang to me by the staff. Thank you Helen and co.

I came in this morning to charge my car and needed a bite to eat and a coffee. The breakfast team were so accommodating and couldn't have been more approachable. Food was lovely too. Perfect little charging stop!

Always enjoy my food experience, only 1 downside there is never enough custard delivered with the dessert barely 3 tables spoons for all deserts is just not enough for the price you pay.

Fantastic place, great all rounder to suit all occasions. Over 18yrs coming back with the family. Chicken Tikka, Gammon, Pie & Carvery all really tasty and popular in our family. Chips are the best around. Nastasha is lovely, all staff polite & welcoming. My daughter mithers to come at least twice per month for the Gammon. Great place! 👌🏼

Quick service, and pretty good food. A tad pricey for the quality, but overall pretty good! I've been to several of the "Farm" chain restaurants and this one is a good one!

The service was not good the cuing up for meals and to be told they haven't got what won't and have to go back to your table to pick something else and going back in the queue is terrible
