Best kebabs in Clacton! Friendly stuff fast delivery. Very hygienic!

I live in london and love coming to this place for a x large mixed kebab with my Mrs, owner very friendly and loves scottish people plus food plentiful and very very nice, can't recommend enough

Waited 2 hours for chips and kebab turns up freezing cold. thing hehind the counter or answers the phone need learn how tell time wish you could give minus star. Scumy place

Absolutely rubbish the Turk who took my order was a rude incompetent Food rubbish Don’t use trust me How this place is even open is beyond me. There are far better options The could not even cook a burger correctly 😡

Very bad customer service and so rude. No forks for kebab and chips. Ordered doner kebab they put the bread and meat separate. Ordered large kebab they gave us medium. So bad. Please Avoid this kebab shop. The food bad aswell. Bad hygienic.

The food is very poor quality, pita bread was stale. Pizza under cooked and toppings missing, damaged packaging on the cheeses chips so all the cheese was stuck to the packaging. Will never order from here again.

Ordered online xl kebab they sent large instead and spicy pizza they sent meat one took over an hour to arrive and was cold rang to complain they said take it up with grub hub avoid this place as a waste of money

Been ordering kebab from here for a while first 2 times was superb now every time we order the meet is always dry hot when we get it with in minutes bloody cold and very dry evan the pieta bread is so dry i have called and said before about it being bry but still the same salad not in a box just plonked on top sorry will not order from here no more just waisting my money will get my kebab meet from pound shop in future much better believe it or not

Run of mill pizza, pre made bases no love just cheese on top. Tomato base weren't great either wouldn't recommend

We stated at the haven, orchards caravan site and the price of a takeaway there is extortionate! We found this Gem on Google and used this instead! Lovely friendly welcome from a lady amd the guys working on the grills. Clearly a popular place as they were constantly doing online orders and delivery people were in and out. Had a nice family feel to it and the guy even carried my order to my car as it was quite a lot! Suggestion: improve your own website! And get some decent pics of your menu online. Took 15 mins to drive from orchards and parked in the Lidl carpark for free (up to 90 mins) a 1 minute walk over to the shop which is on an awkward bit of road by the mini roundabout.

Staff are always friendly, even when they're very busy they still find time for a smile and hello. The food is always prepared fresh and hot. I totally recommend their chicken kebabs, lots of meat and salad.

Absolutely vile, went to the dog literally, ordered a pizza and wasn’t cooked and the kebab meat was greasy as hell. Literally felt bad giving it to my dog. Delivery was spot on though at least they get something right.

Lovely food but the delivery charge is ridiculous. Just eat £3.50 & on food hub £2.00 on top of your order. So will not be using this kebab shop again 😞 not at them prices especially as other kebab shops in Clacton-on-Sea are free so will be using Dillons 2 as food is just as good and free delivery 😀

Made an order (small order, I might add) at 6.45 and it’s now 20.12 and still not here! No answer in the phone posed off is an understatement!!!

The pitta tasted stale, they put the chilli sauce on kebab would have been better separate made the stale pitta soggy aswell.Would not shop there again!!

Took to long to be delivered, chips were cold and hard . Pizza had 6 pieces of pepperoni on it . Avoid

Good meat, I always order x big kebab mix, the only bad point is, not a lot of sauce and salads for such a large amount of meat, and large fries are not big, service very nice, fast delivery.

The food was cold by the time it was delivered to us and the donner meat was very dry . Complete waste of money so Will not be ordering from here again.

Decent kebab shop, definitely has more flavour then the other ones in town. Can some times be hit and miss with the donner meat, but I always go back 😅

Ordered last night just a margarita pizza some chips and 2 Donner meat wraps only to eat with my partner and 2 year old and hours later projectile vomiting everywhere and we still are now today food poisoning!! Definatly won't be eating here again do not recommend!

On arrival of food no salad in the kebabs although salad was ordered. Contacted the establishment who read the order out to me and I confirmed that the order was for salad in the kebabs. The person who answered the phone said he had a driver there and would see where he was going but if not would bring some salad out himself. No salad arrived. It may only seem like a trivial mistake but I expect to get what I ordered. Will not be using again.

Friend ordered us all takeaway on Saturday evening. Estimated time was about an hour. It ended up taking numerous phone calls, visiting the store in person and 2 and a half hours for our food to arrive. While eating my chicken burger, I then discovered that the middle was all pink from being undercooked. I won't be eating from here again.

I love this place! Proper 'London' kebabs! Staff are really friendly and the portions are great. IMHO, best kebab shop in Clacton! Update:- Still fantastic value for money and great portions!

Delicious , warm, well cooked with flavour , big portion. My child love it. Ordered for the first time. I was impressed how tasteful can be . It was difficult for me to find something good and finally I found. I was busy for one hour when i opened the package, the food was still warm and so delicious.

Cold food 40 minutes late and tasted like it had been sitting around for a few days not good at all, won't be coming back

Always cooked perfectly, never had a bad meal from them - even on Christmas Eve the food was quick, hot and 10/10 for taste!

Had the “Spicy Fried Chicken ” this was truly awful It was overcooked, greasy and so dry it was impossible to eat and ended up in the dustbin. It was truly atrocious. On a plus point it must take a lot of skill to get chicken to taste this bad. Never sgain

Never had a issue with Essex kebab and have always thought they are nice for food as have used them for years. Sometimes the delivery is a bit later then they say but Tonight I ordered at 7pm said 1 hour, at 8.30 (after calling) they said it will be 10 minutes. 9pm comes still no food so call again to be told that the driver has broken down. So rather then calling to apologise, it's just left. I've asked for a refund but have been told they cant as they have lost my slip with the machine code on it. So now no food and no refund. Definitely wont be using again, definitely dont recommend and think others should be aware too.

I had a chicken kebab, which was nice... But it's not what I ordered, I appreciate it was late in the evening, But if you haven't got the lamb kebab please don't fob people off with chicken, just communicate.

EDIT Waited 2hr start of week and fobbed off with 10 to 15mins. 2hr in the end. Binned menu Portions bot the same as 1st and 2nd order 1st time trying here as thought didnt deliver where I was. Very nice food, amazing pizza, fast delivery. Couldn't fault 5*

If i could gave no stars i would .... Ordered 3 x doner kababs , cheese and chips and a Rambaba ... Arrived a little late not a problem .. The problem was they had put a frozen rambaba in the same bag as the food ... Yep thats right a frozen Rambaba? ... So food was cold but we all tried it doner was dry and pita tasted and smelt like It was going out of date . and all went in the bin waste of money. Dont bother

Just walked in and ordered my food this evening. Got to say the food is fantastic and the guys were so friendly. Even thou they our working flat out with other orders. i had my food within 15 minutes of arriving. Great price good honest guys. Definitely recommending essex kababs to friends.

If I could give zero stars I would. The chicken was very overcooked and very greasy. It was the worst chicken we have ever had. After ringing the shop to talk to them the customer service was as bad as the chicken

Orderd a kebab, two burgers, chicken and chips at 9:30 and it didn't get delivered until gone 11:30. And when it did turn up the kebab was missing and the food was cold and the chicken boxes were falling apart, after i phoned them 3 times they finally delivered the kebab gone 12. Wouldn't recommend id you don't like waiting around for cold food

Late delivery. All meat dry and burnt, I dont know how you can burn meat to that extent. All went in the bin. I phoned up and was told I will get a replacement and a note with my details has been put on the system. I said OK I wont leave a bad review until now.... I ordered the same meal tonight waited 1 hour 30 mins, delivery driver said its £13.30. I said no its a replacement. He phoned essex kebabs to check and asked if they read my comments. The man in the kebab house wanted to talk to me and said it doesn't work like that. So they lied to me and he said I have to pay the Delivery driver £8, which I refused and said tell the driver to take it back. So its 11pm now and no dinner! Delivery driver was polite and friendly. The kebab man in the shop was rude on the phone. And I will never order from here again, and would advise everyone else to never order from essex kebabs. Terrible service. Terrible food. Liars. And rude.

Worse kebab ever 1 and have hours late,chicken shish x3 was worse ever,chips cold and soft, Dont take my advice try it,it will defo be your last.
