Intimate and stylish in an understated way. Very convenient for the harbour/shopping area.A really nice man served us who was a credit to himself and his employer in being friendly and attentive. The coffee from local roasters Yallah was consistently excellent. Nice pastries too. We went back repeatedly as we loved it so much. Gem! Why would you want to go to a chain cafe???

Whilst the big coffee companies take over our high streets, it is great to have these small, cosy, friendly cafes in Falmouth. The coffee and the hot chocolate were great, the selection of cakes, varied and tasty. It’s a tiny coffee shop but well worth the visit. If you are near the Trago end of Falmouth it is on the opposite side of the road.

Avoid the Costa, Nero, Starbucks et al and have coffee here instead, a great local coffee shop. Wish you'd open one in Bideford

Every time I am in Falmouth i make sure I pop in for a coffee. To draw stuff! Would recommend the Italian biscuit they have in the glass jar. Forget the name but they are mentioned a lot in sopranos. So I do feel a little like Tony every time I go and get one.

Tried both their large and small shops, and same great coffee and service at both. Really great coffee, especially if you're a coffee nut, and they treat you as if they're happy to have you there - not trying to rush you or sell to you, like so many other places. My only complaint - can't they open one up to replace Costa on my High Street?!

We visited a few times for morning coffee during our holiday. Very passionate staff who know their coffee and will happily advise on the most appropriate one to suit your taste. There were two blends on offer during our visit. Very friendly staff and really keen to share their passion without making you feel stupid. We had a cake with one of the visits which was very tasty. Very small but we always managed to find a seat. Highly recommended if you love coffee!

Espressini must be one of the smallest coffee shops in Falmouth but their coffee is one of the best. The Barista explained the various coffee options to us and our selections were made with great skill and care. Prices were what you'd expect for an independent coffee outlet. well worth a visit.

I'm bemused as to why an advertised flat white at £2.65 becomes £3.50 if I choose to have the more responsible soya alternative to cow juice. Also, on entering, the guy 'working' there looked positively miffed that he would have to put down his Jack Kerouac book and make a coffee for someone. It's a shame, this place is right on my doorstep and I drink about three coffees a day from the high street, I will be going 100 metres elsewhere to for coffees at 2/3's the price from now on. This is Falmouth, not Copenhagen.

Nunca realmente ha sido en café, probado unos pocos como los típicos de Starbucks y Costa y no disfrutar de ello. Rastras aquí por un amigo y ahora estoy enganchado en su café. No beber en ningún otro lugar. Excelente.

It's a painfully trendy, tiny little shop that serves expertly made coffee. You can sit inside, but I think there are two seats in total. It's ideal for those who drink their coffee like Italians (standing up and really quickly) or for those who want to grab a cup on the go. It beats all of the chain store coffees hands down.

We stopped in here yesterday for a caffeine fix and to get some shelter from the mixed weather. What an amazing little coffee house which has a bigger sister cafe the other end of Falmouth. We met Alex, the barista and he provided excellent service. His knowledge of the coffee being served was superb and he also helped us with tips for what to do in the area more generally. The coffee was of a very high quality. If we get the chance to go back to Falmouth, we will undoubtedly be returning to Espressini. Our advice is step away from the mainstream chains on the high street and give this place a go if you are a coffee lover.

We called in for a take away coffee and the filter coffee was the best I've ever tasted. We had to wait about 5 minutes for it to be made which was a pleasant experience and the wait was definitely worth it. Beautiful flavour and very reasonably priced. Avoid the major chain coffee shops and try here!

After a long night of been up with my little girl I was in need of a serious caffeine hit, I normally frequent the nationwide coffee store further along town, but when I saw this little coffee house I thought I really can't be bothered walking, let's give it a try!! For once my general laziness has paid dividends because I can honestly say it was the best coffee experience I have had!! A Warm greeting, a Barista that took his time to explain the various roasts and then match my request (espresso) with the best option! And then the actual coffee, it was amazing, such depth of flavour, it smelled great too, I finished my espresso and ordered a cappuccino and a bit of carrot cake to take back to work!! The cappuccino was amazing, and the cake was lovely! The fact it's less than 100 yards from work is a real bonus, so have been back today with a friend and can happily say, even thought it was a different Barista the outcome was the same!! I can see my loyalty card been completed very quickly!!

Being an espresso freak couldn't resist calling in. Friendly welcome and informative on the coffee choices. Tried both of the espressos available, the Nicaraguan single blend was a revelation, fruity and distinct flavour. Will be back again this week, that's for sure.

Very friendly greeting. Had a nice coffee and cake. Lovely guy who served us chatted to us about the coffee and brewing methods then sent us off to the other shop where we could buy the coffee. Just as friendly in there. Glad we stumbled across this gem.

Lovely place to visit for a coffee in Falmouth - my boyfriend is obsessed with good coffee so this was a great find for us! Coffee was lovely both times we visited, lovely touch to be given a jug of water without even asking. The barista was chatty and friendly, and the place is a great spot on the high street to sit and watch the world go by.

Nice to have a choice of coffee in your drink and unexpected to have a good flat white this far west but they managed it. Bit quiet but good location at the far end of the main drag as the other quality venues are the other end. Limited food choices but I didn't come to Falmouth for it's natas!

What a little gem this coffee shop is. We popped in for a quick take away but found seats in the window so decided to sit for a while. A friendly barista greeted us and from a large choice of beans made the most delicious coffee we have had in ages. The cakes looked rather tempting too and I had a wonderful Portuguese custard tart and my partner a yummy chocolate brownie. The shop itself felt very continental and trendy we could have been in Italy. This will be our regular coffee stop in Falmouth in the future.

From the moment I read the chalkboard sitting on the pavement outside, marked 'Speciality Coffee' I knew I was on to something good! I walked in and was immediately greeted with a friendly smile and felt totally welcomed by the young barista behind the beautiful bespoke copper and wood bar. With a selection of seasonal espresso and filter options on offer, (each marked on a hanging board behind the counter) we discussed all of the different coffees. The barista was very knowledgeable and was more than happy to offer advice on which of the espressos worked better as a shorter or longer drink and the characteristics which I should expect to taste from each, as well as the filter coffees and available brewing methods. I decided to settle for the No.39 house blend as a Flat White, accompanied by a delicious Portuguese egg custard tart. I was offered to take a seat whilst my coffee was prepared and opted to sit at the bench bar in the window and watch the world go by. I was very soon presented with a gorgeous flat white which tasted exactly as described, chocolatey, nutty and super smooth and sweet! I really love the intimate aesthetic of the shop, the carefully selected decor and furniture feeling homely and familiar, inviting you to relax and while away some time. I also found that the intimacy also lent itself to participating in conversation with the other customers who came and went whilst I was there, something which you will scarcely find anywhere these days. With a great selection of equipment and coffee available to buy and take home, this speciality coffee house really does tick all the right boxes for me, and many other coffee lovers I'm sure.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.

My experience at the copper coast was absolutely brilliant, I had a festive burger and of all the burgers i’ve had in my lifetime it’s definitely in the top three, not only this but the customer service was perfect very quick and also very kind. This really got me in the festive spirit and can’t wait for christmas!

Wish we had read other reviews first! Very disappointed, outside of hotel and views lovely inside tired and dated. Greeted by a sign on the main entrance explaining to go around the back of the building and ringing to be eventually answered by a polite but rather eerie character. There was no bar on offer over the whole weekend and no dinner available as he wasn't sure if his mother had been shopping!! Unfortunately the bathroom wasn't clean and the breakfast average. On the morning of leaving we received an email to say payment had been taken and we saw no one as we left, a very odd way to run a hotel business!
