As a family, we have done many escape rooms. This room was one of the more disappointing ones. We didn't ask for any clues but were regularly told what to do - instructions rather than clues. We completed the room in 34 minutes so it was unnecessary to be revealing so much since we had plenty of extra time to work things out. On leaving, there was another family waiting to go into the room. We had obviously been rushed through to get the next group in. My daughter had paid for the escape room as a mother's day present so I felt very disappointed for her that we had such a lacklustre experience.

We did the Magical Escape Room! It was lots of fun and quite a bit of head scratching! Thankfully, with the help of some clues, we escaped! Lovely friendly invigilator who explained everything. We're hoping to try the Space themed room next! Reccomended.

Whilst on holiday in the area we decided to do the VALKYRIE FALLEN escape room. Having done a couple of other escape rooms we were looking forward to it. Unlike other rooms there was not any team work required & several of us were left with nothing to do. It was really underwhelming & quite disappointing. Would not recommend. The lady who looked after us was very good though.

It probably didn't help that when we arrived the bus escape room was being put back together after a few days in a different location. More time was needed to do this I think as some things didn't work properly or looked a bit broken. We have done quite a few escape rooms and love the tension building but unfortunately didn't get that feeling at all, partly because the countdown clock wasn't started so we had no idea how much time we had left. Clues were given at different points but they were a little too much...telling us exactly what to do with the information rather than suggesting where to look. So we felt that we hadn't solved much at all and finished it in 30 mins. One surprise panel fell open on its own which meant that when we did solve one clue later nothing happened. When we solved the final puzzle nothing happened except the door opening to tell us we've solved it (I suspect something else was broken here) I don't want to be too hard on them, the young lady running it was lovely. But my suggestion would be to give themselves enough time to fix things up in future and find a way to give clues rather than solutions. Possibly we just had a bad day and I'm sure that this room would be good at other times.

It’s been a long time since I have had such great food especially in a pub! Had the pulled pork burger an it was really tasty, my companions had the chilli beef and really enjoyed it. Really recommend!

We did the bus escape room which was really enjoyable and a fun set up for a room! We were also allowed to take our dog, who is usually very chilled out during escape rooms but was a bit frightened of the bus. The staff were really kind and allowed us to have the door open for him and even looked after him for a bit so we could continue.

Meeting friends for a late lunch ,using the outside space that has been utilized so well with 3 booths that have heating if needed .I would recommended reserving the booths if that is what you want .We had a great time in a relaxed welcoming enviroment .

Good fun in the escape rooms, lovely outside area for drinks with live music was a plessant additional surprise.

This was the second time we have visited for coffee. It’s great outdoor seating when the weather is good. Lovely helpful , friendly staff.

Tried their new venture of a Sunday roast in the afternoon. Good service considering we were a large group. Excellent portions and quality of meat- pork or beef. Range of hot vegetables which were not overcooked . Live music from 5pm which was great .

Great music , and atmosphere , food was delicious and the staff very friendly Lovely place to go and eat outside in the pretty courtyard with canopies and fairy lights , mix of all ages and suit any occasion Highly recommend

Fantastic service from McCauley. Made us feel very welcome And Who served us exceptionally. The whole experience was amazing. There was a little delay on the food but McCauley was there to assist on needs. I would definitely come back again because of the service that McCauley did. Also the other staff were amazing as well but McCauley was was so great! I want to thank you all at the Rabbit hole for making us feel welcome. Such an amazing atmosphere.

Group of four teens enjoyed the VR session. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Enjoyable activity for all and something new they hadn’t done before.

Having done a few escape rooms in the past, I can honestly say that the CSI room is not great! Some clues were irrelevant, just all very disjointed confused and unsatisfying! There is another escape room next door which may be better? Escape rooms should make you think and should give you a sense of achievement when completed but this just left us thinking ‘what was that all about?’

I've had two meals now since the new head chef started. New menu change. Both meals absolutely stunning, great food, great atmosphere, attentive staff. It's also nice to see the head chef out and about asking about the meal and if it was enjoyed, something rarely seen nowadays but appreciated. This place has lots to offer and has escape rooms which is great fun for a night out with a meal afterwards! A real hidden gem 👌 Great for hen and stag nights or night out with friends!

We had so much fun in the magical escape room. The clues were hard to figure out so the hints were needed. We managed to get out with 8 minutes to spare. We would have come back to do the CSI room if we’d had time, maybe on our next trip to Devon.
