Erol's in Welwyn Hatfield

We had a very nice lunch. My partner and I often come here when eating lunch in Hatfield. The staff are quite pleasant, don't hurry us and they serve good food

We sat down and were a bit rushed to order something to drink. The cafe is clean. Received quick but freshly cooked meals. My partner enjoyed jacket potato

Although the woman rushed us to place our order, the food which we were served was very good. Lovely chips. Nice sausage and egg sandwich opening times are not stated

Erol's is a cafe in Hatfield Town Centre in White Lion Square. It is close to the library and also there are other stores close by including the Asda supermarket. They sell a wide variety of food including snacks for lunch as well as meals and also breakfast. They also serve a variety of drinks. The lady who served me was friendly and welcoming and I ordered my drink and paid for it when took a seat outside and I hardly had to wait any time before it was brought to my table.

This café is very good for breakfast and lunch the service is really good and the food is delicious. If your looking for a nice place to eat its Erol's.

My partner and I had a nice lunch. The waitress was helpful. I was just disappointed that they don't have whole bread. It was good.

This is one of those well established, been here for years, family-run places that serves up a wide range of good solid traditionally English dishes that will appeal to builders and pensioners, families and people passing through who want a nice clean place to eat. You can eat in or outdoors in covid-security and will be served from behind a screen, with a smile. The coffee is also very good, and it is all very well priced. You will not be disappointed!

I came across this family run traditional cafe by chance whilst visiting Hatfield on business. It is very clean and great value for money. The coffee will put the high street giants to shame. Well worth a visit.

Eating here is a very pleasant experience. The tables are clean and well supplied with condiments. Nice easy to read menu. Excellent waitress service. All food cooked to order. No long waits. I had the all day breakfast, delicious and not a spot of grease or oil to be found on the empty plate. Prices are good, food is excellent and service great. What more can anyone ask for.?

Good food at very reasonable prices. Lovely staff! All-day breakfast is a must! One of the best small cafe's in the heart of Hatfield.

I lunched here and had a vegetarian omlette with salad and chips. The omlette was excellent, the slald nice and fresh and the chips were just right.

Not been to Erols in over 8 years Passing through Hatfield for business and thought I’d have a takeaway coffee They gave me a drink in so I sat as it was windy outside I must say it was a really terrific cup Freshly ground beans and only £1:60 Really happy

Popped in today for late breakfast. Service was good. Food was amazing good old fashioned fry up. Value for money nice mug of tea. Will visit again

A very quiet café that's in a busy town centre. The staff are friendly, the food is very good & also a good price. Light and airy, tables are not cramped on top of each other. Only down side is the toilet, only 1 men & 1 ladies, but cant have every thing.

Everything appears to be cooked after you have ordered which means everything is lovely and hot and fresh. Service is good, seating comfortable and the menu has enough choices for everyone. They are happy to substitute any item is you ask them to. Prices are reasonable and you can sit outside if you want to

I have known Hatfield for many years as my late father worked for BAe from immediately after the war until his premature death in 1980, and I was a student at the Polytechnic until 1984. At that time Hatfield town centre was quite modern, bright and lively. However a number of events such as the closure of Bae (apparently 90% of the employees lived in Hatfield whereas the new business that came only have 10% local employees), the opening of the Galleria and the opening of the vast Tesco on the former Jack Olding’s site. The centre of Hatfield has been dying for decades with numerous shops, like the motor factors and the shoe shop, leaving/closing after trading for decades with any replacement tending to be a variant on the ethnic food shop theme. The large market has now shrunk t a few stalls near Boots. Hopefully it will be regenerated but I cannot see it happening until they get independence rather than playing second fiddle to Welwyn Garden. End of rant!

no good food. i tried once but will never return because it was so poor. Do try harder and do something special.
