SPOILER ALERT - Enzo’s closes this Sunday 3rd December. The Great raconteur, restauranteur is leaving. We have been entertained by this great man for years, he will be dearly missed

Enzo’s is always our favourite place to visit when in Southwold. This year was no different. Enzo makes our experience, he remembers us every year and is so friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were fantastic, and we can never fault our trips to Enzo’s.

As always, our visits to Enzo’s (twice in a week!) were great experiences. As well as excellent food and wine, Enzo’s hospitality is second to none and the limited number of diners ensures that he is able to provide a really personal touch. Highly recommended.

Absolute best authentic pizza I’ve had in the UK. We’ve eaten a lot of pizza but this is simple delicious and unassuming. Simple menus mean only one thing - that what you are getting is a perfectly curated dish. I will honestly think about this pizza regularly until I am back in august to have it again. Wine was perfectly paired, great desert options including affogato. Enzo is charismatic, lovely to talk to and imagine has many stories to tell, I could listen for hours. Genuinely southwolds GEM

This is a great - and slightly quirky - place. Beautiful pizzas and lovely Italian drink all cooked by Enzo himself. It’s a real drop of Italy in Southwold and highly recommended. He doesn’t do takeaways and you’ll need to book!

Menu limited, but don't worry. Beautiful Pizza served by a lovely Gentleman in Enzo. It's definitely worth booking as that is the only way you will get in. We will be back.

The best pizzas and the best experience. Enzo is an excellent host, a great chef and an enjoyable raconteur. What a really lovely place this is, worth a visit for sure. In fact I cannot recommend it too highly and we are going back again next week.

We visit Enzo’s 3 or 4 times a year. Enzo and his food are just the best, the wine isn’t bad either ! I’ve typed reviews for Enzo before, if you are polite, humble and fun, Enzo will be the perfect host and entertainer. It’s also a great place to meet people, the rich, not so rich, the famous and not so famous. We have had many a great conversation with some of our fellow diners all orchestrated by the main conductor himself, Enzo. By the way you need to book as front row seats are in demand !!

Having eaten many a Pizza over the years and explored many a Pizzeria in Italy It was with a degree of trepidation that I visited Enzo`s in Southwold - Suffolk. The little restaurant boasts a menu of just 3 Pizza`s with one special each day. Crikey, i thought, these would have to be very special indeed. And they were. Not just any old Pizza but fairly and squarely the BEST Pizza I have tasted anywhere in the world. Enzo is a class act. He takes your order, gets your drinks and cooks your Pizza. After Pizza there is a flawless cheesecake with icecream. Coffee is sensational. Go there. Be amazed. This is a very special place indeed.

My family and I rate this as the best pizza ever! Truly authentic and Enzo himself is a complete star. Such a wonderful warm, funny & interesting guy! We come back every year on our hols from Essex.

Wonderful experience! Everything previous reviewers have highlighted is true. Enzo is the experience! Menu is very limited but great quality. Nothing is rushed, plenty of time to chat about Napoli, football, the world!! Only problem is getting a table! Persevere as it’s well worth it!

Although currently only 2 pizza types available (Margherita and Pepperoni) they were the best pizzas we have had in the UK. Delicious, fresh and hot we devoured 4 (family of 4 including two Kids ages 14 and 9). Enzo operates a safe covid complaint and friendly place. The system is that you preorder and pay in the day and pick up at an allotted time on the evening. All works smoothly. Thank you!

Just had two amazing takeaway pizzas from Enzo's. Ordering, paying and collecting couldn't have been easier. If you like real pizza I recommend that you take the time to plan ahead and pre-order.

Had a wonderful take away of 3 delicious authentic Italian pizzas. Delicious and hot even after transporting home. Missed out on Enzo’s banter so can’t wait for him to reopen but a tasty alternative during these difficult times.

We had takeaway pizzas to eat by the beach one evening. Fantastic authentic Italian pizza. Great base and very good quality Ingredients. There were just 2 options. Margarita and pepperoni. It would be lovely to see a few more topping options as they get back on their feet but in the meantime these were delicious. I believe they offered pasta for takeaway as well. But all of our party were happy with the pizza. Look forward to trying a fuller menu inside when we return next summer .

Great to see Enzo today after all these years I used to eat at least three times a week in his restaurant in Gants Hill with customers and family which was a big successful restaurant and his experience has been transferred to Southwold and so has his great food can’t be beaten .The best food and best host .A presto Vecchio Amico love your restaurant and can’t wait to actually have a sit in meal .We will be back soon .

Me and my family have been a couple of times to Enzo's and have sat in - you do have to book as there is not many tables!! We went to Southwold again a few weeks ago and ordered 4 pizzas to take away which were as amazing as we remember!! Enzo is so lovely too - would highly recommend this place!

I’ve seen a lot of good reviews about Enzo’s but to be honest find it difficult to concur. It’s obviously busy and selling out every day for their takeaway menu but, for me, it’s poor value; small portions, not well cooked and expensive for what it is. Add on the application of 20% VAT when only 5% is payable to the government, and you’ve got a pretty poor proposition.Personally I’d rather buy a frozen pizza than pay over the odds for an average ‘authentic’ Pizza but I’m pretty sure there are plenty of other customers who will enjoy the offering.Not a recommendation that I can make.

When some restaurants reopened during the pandemic what they offered and how they offered it was all very confusing. With Enzo’s (takeaway only at this time) it is very clear - 5 choices (2 pizzas, 2 pasta dishes or meat-balls), order between certain times and collect between certain times. And if you don’t like anything about that ..... I’d suggest you go somewhere else. Enzo is a great guy with an enthusiasm and passion for authentic Italian food. And from what we had last night, he does it very well. We will be back.

Okay this is really simple. If you like the look of what's on the menu this place is brilliant. Want to off menu? Go somewhere else.The joys of this restaurant are many. Menu, simple. Pizza delicious. Service, friendly. Atmosphere, quirky. A delight to go somewhere that doesn't fit a corporate template.

PLEASE do not visit if expecting a domino's pizza, this guy is an Italian, making a traditional Italian pizza...…….. Enzo is a guy running a restaurant with a passion, probably don't need to say anymore. But always look forward to a visit ;-)

Had evening meal at Enzos last night. Food excellent, host excellent, ambience excellent, price very reasonable. A small lovely restaurant. We will return on our next visit to Southwold.

Enzo is a truely wonderful individual, I tend not to go often at all as I consider the place such a special treat! Prices are reasonable, sizes are good, pizza is bloody delicious and I've always felt truely welcome. Thank you Enzo!!

The guy who runs this place is sooooooo rude it's actually very funny! Just take a look at his website & you'll get the just. Restaurant was empty but he says you have to book! Thought we'd give it a try but his attitude to customers became a reality when we went in there! Walked straight out again, the place is a joke and run by a bloke who apparently wants to put customers off. There are too many good restaurants in southwold to put up with such an appalling attitude, so we took our custom elsewhere! Also closes early evening 8Pm!!!

Love Enzo’s! As do the whole family. Authentic Italian pizzas, no messing about. Taste is fantastic and the bases are the best, bar none. Restaurant is full of football and Italian photos and memorabilia, making it a unique place to eat. Every time we visit Southwold we try and get in here once, of course it depends on whether Fulham are playing at home!

Tried to book very late on Saturday night and Enzo tried very hard to be accommodating. We decided to visit on Tuesday instead and we weren’t disappointed! Amazing pizza. Great personalised service. A real gem. If you want authentic Italian pizza, we would highly recommend.

So so disappointed with Enzo’s attitude. My daughter rang to ask about the pasta (as it says on the menu) and he was very rude to her and she got very upset. Basically he said he didn’t do anything apart from pasta with Tomato sauce on it, and pretty much if you don’t like it go somewhere else.

I called and book with Enzo, he was a fantastic host a magnificent cook and an all-round lovely bloke! Food was great and the Limon 🍋 Chelo was to die for! Will certainly be heading back here again sometime soon!

Wow we have have just had the most amazing meal in Enzo's we felt like we were in Italy, The food was outstanding, the service was second to none, Enzo is a true Gentleman and we even got chatting to some lovely locals that eat there regularly (lucky lucky people) It was that good that we have rebooked for another night during this week and we can't wait !!! We had 2 delightful meals herewith the most delicious pizza. Enzo does everything himself so booking is best as he spaced things so he can cope and you don’t gave to wait too long. He is a charming host, the decor is very eclectic and the food divine. We ate there on the Sunday of our holiday and my husband got up on Monday saying let’s go again but we managed to restrain ourselves till the Tuesday. A third visit was out of the question as we returned from our holiday on the Wednesday

Enzo is so welcoming. The whole experience is like having a meal cooked for you in someone’s home. The pizza was truly the best I have ever eaten. My vegan niece was with us and Enzo was able to cater for her. Top restaurant - highly recommended

Been to Enzo on every trip to Southwold since he has been opened and have to say what an experience,enzo takes your order,cooks it to perfection,then serves it to you ,he is one of a kind and a great Italian chef,book early though or he will just tell you he is fully booked ,unless u r Robert de Niro or tom hardy

Quirky, intimate, unique venue that we enjoyed greatly. You have to want a pizza and nothing else but they are great and made and served by a true personality. Will be one of our lasting memories of Southwold this summer.

First time to Southwold and we stumbled across this little gem. Enzo couldn't fit us in off the street but took my details and he phoned us to confirm that he was able to accomodate us a few days later.

We were lucky to be able to walk in and eat here when on a day trip to Southwold. We were welcomed with open arms into a little part of Italy in Suffolk.

Great atmosphere and owner - pizza was good but very expensive for the portion size and overall meal cost sadly.

A complete gem, both the restaurant and the eponymous owner, who is also the chef, waiter and I'd imagine does the washing up too. That's right, Enzo does it all. Like all good restaurants, Enzo's (or is it just Enzo?) not only serves up great food, it's also an experience, or should I say he...or...oh, never mind, just go there (unless you hate Italian food)!

Fourth time here. Enzo is a star! There are no other staff. Talk to him about football, wine, beer, Italy! The guy is wonderful. Very limited menu but wow! Tonight we both had a side as a starter. Gran Parma Reserva. Simple salad of Parma Ham, Gran padana cheese and leaves with balsamic glaze and olive oil. Followed by 2 of the Special Bob pizzas. Spicy tasty and cooked to perfection. A bottle of house red and we’re at 50 quid! Brilliant. Book to make sure! Only open evenings unless there is large family gathering at lunchtime. And be nice if you’re a Chelsea fan. The guy is a Fulham nut! Enjoy!
