Enzo Ristorante & Pizzeria in Weymouth and Portland

Enzo's was a lovely treat on our Dorset Holiday. My partner loves Italian food and has gotten me hooked, so we couldn't pass up after seeing this along the Esplanade. The Restaurant seemed fairly busy however we were seated quickly and had drinks in good time. Our food order taken not long after. The food was lovely with excellent portions and fair prices, we also had some Garlic Bread on the side which was an excellent idea as it was so lovely. The staff we're very welcoming and the Owner/Manager was an excellent Italian chap with a very welcoming personality. The restaurant was decorated nicely with images of Italian celebrities, vehicles and memorabilia, just adding to that excellent atmosphere. No complaints at all, we will definitely come again next time we are in Weymouth.

I’m not from Italy, and this was actually my first time trying real Italian food – and wow, what an experience! Monzo completely exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was cozy and full of charm, making it the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing meal. We had the seafood noodles, which were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The Italian pizza was incredibly fresh and authentic – you can really taste the quality ingredients. And the ice cream? So smooth, rich, and absolutely delicious. Monzo gave me a perfect first taste of Italian cuisine. Highly recommended!

We visited Enzo’s after finding their website. Greeted by Enzo, he found a table for us without a booking in a very busy restaurant. Gluten free options available on all pizza and pasta dishes, a main reason we came here. The pizza was exceptional, I had the picante, pepperoni with roasted peppers, thin base, true Italian style I enjoyed it very much. The gluten free carbonara was excellent. Service was perfect, timely, attentive with no pressure to rush. We didn’t have to wait long for our food at all. The real deal, authentic Italian experience in Weymouth. Delivering what we thought was excellent quality, varied cuisine, with a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend booking a table, we will next time and very much looking forward to visiting again soon. Thank you.

Me and my friend came here for dinner without reservation. The staff were friendly and quickly found a table for us. The food was made very fast despite the large number of people and was delicious! Thank you!

Fantastic service by all the staff. The drinks were fantastic and the food was amazing. The carbonara was the best weve had in UK. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful seafront view. Lovely amount of space upstairs and downstairs.

Lovely staff and delicious authentic food

We came here as my daughter wanted an authentic Italian meal and it didn't disappoint . The pizza was amazing and the carbonara was so tasty . We all enjoyed everything that we ordered was lovely and service was super fast we had main meal drinks and dessert and were out in just over an hour.

We arrived at 2pm, which we did not realise was closing time for them! However, they were very kind and still gave us a table. Food was absolutely delicious, probably the best Italian food I’ve ever had! Staff were very attentive and very nice. We couldn’t believe the prices, very humble but we thought it was an absolute bargain. Will definitely come again

My 9 friends and I were in Weymouth for a camping trip and wanted to celebrate on the final evening. We chose Enzo's and from the start they were amazing, the waiting staff were attentive , entertaining and kind. The food was incredible with stuff for our whole group even though we had a few dietary restrictions. Incredible, would return in a heartbeat.

From the moment we arrived we felt incredibly rushed, food came out within 5 minutes, which was no time to cook what we ordered from fresh. The "Tagliatelle Pollo e Funghi" was bland and did not taste as if it had any goats cheese at all. Not worth the price and overall a disappointing experience.

Very busy restaurant but never felt rushed. Very friendly staff throughout and made to feel very welcome and at ease. Both of us had a starter and a pizza each....really good food with the best pizza since our recent trip to Rome.

Went for a large group meal with 16 of us and the staff couldn’t enough for us. The food arrived promptly and all at the same time. The quality of the food was top notch, I would highly recommend.

Excellent, tasty food with prompt, efficient service - what's not to like. Only 4* for atmosphere as when we visited, there was a boisterous and noisy party of 10 so it was difficult at times for my wife and I to chit-chat and hear each other - otherwise a lovely dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary...

We had a fantastic Valentines meal here. Great service, great food, great atmosphere.

An absolutely fantastic Italian dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The owner was present on the floor, adding a personal touch to the experience, and we even had the opportunity to chat in Italian, which made it feel even more authentic. The food was simply outstanding—the spaghetti carbonara was perfection, rich and full of flavor, and the lasagna was equally delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented and expertly prepared. Overall, an amazing experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves real Italian cuisine!

We decided to go to Enzo for a midweek treat and wanted somewhere quiet. We were seated on a nice table and the initial service was ok. Starter was fine but we then both ordered meat dishes for mains (Chicken and veal). The mains took a fair time (over 30 mins) considering we were the only guests at this time. My chicken dish was a tad small to say the least! Not being piggy but a slither of trimmed chicken breast around 1/2inch thick is not what I expected. My wife ordered veal and this came as 2 x slices of wafer thin cuts like you would get at a deli counter. We had a plate of veg (dozen or so small chunks of roast potatoes and a few spoons of peas and carrots) to share! Afraid the portions sizes here need serious reviewing by the owner, it’s not often you go hungry after eating Italian but this was indeed the case. The meal quality was “ok” but we have had far better elsewhere. We did explain to the owner that we were a bit disappointed by the portion sizes which were stingy for the price. Enzo seems to have the same enhanced reputation by locals as Rossi’s which to us again is average. It seems compulsory that if you live in Weymouth you must love Enzo and Rossi’s but honestly travel over the ridgeway and you will find better!

Amazing food! Really friendly staff!

I've been coming here with my wife since we first started dating; a rare place where quality is consistent. Their food is always delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. If you want great tasting Italian food in Weymouth there really is nowhere else I'd recommend. I do highly recommend booking in advance as they get very busy in the evening.

Service was good, however food was below average. Pasta was cooked well, but the sauces were bland, and the tiramisu was basically just melted mascarpone. Wouldn’t order the tiramisu.

Great Italian restaurant / Pizzeria. Interesting pictures around the walls of the restaurant, giving a real Italian feel . Host and staff gave excellent service . Well priced . Nice location just off the beach great views out , and of course fantastic food . Pictures of the view outside , and a couple of pics of the great Sophia Loren and Richard Burton … ( The picture of Sophia Loren at Enzo reminded me I had them ) I’m sure they would have loved this restaurant too ! I had the spaghetti de mare. Absolutely delicious. My partner had the Bolognaise… Absolutely delicious.. All in all 10 stars!

An Italian restaurant in an amazing location such a shame they don't have the first clue how to cook pizza. The evening spoilt by a surly waiter who took offence at one member of the party ordering tap water.

Seems to have lost some of its atmosphere, hard to explain. Service was good as was the food generally although my steak was somewhat tough.

As an Italian in can easily say this is the best Italian restaurant in the area, proper authentic food. Also dog friendly.

Greeted by Enzo himself with big smiles. Taken to lovely table & given menu & chose the fillet steak in mushrooms...absolutely delicious,tender & cooked exactly how we requested. Helped with wine choice by our waiter who was also full of smiles & attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant...superb in every way frm its cleanliness/spotless toilets/food & wine choice/excellent service& just a brilliant dining experience. On a weekend break & so happy we were recommend this reastaurant.

We arrived late-ish in town, wandering the esplanade we found this fabulous restaurant! Everything, from the greeting by Enzo, the delicious meal ( we had 3 courses), outstanding wine and attentive service was faultless. We chatted with Enzo after our meal and found him to be a restaurateur that really cares about his customers and his business. I highly recommend you dine at Enzo, it’s honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had during our 5 months touring the UK.

Fantastic Italian food. Will be back again I had the Tortellini Renato very tasty and fresh pasta, the host Enzo was great and made sure we were looked after in a relaxed calm friendly manner.

The food was lovely, but it felt very rushed , my plate was taken away before asking if I had finished my pizza , the staff are running around, and we felt like they wanted us to move so they could have the table , we didn't actually ask for the bill, it was put on the table as soon as we finished our desserts

Food and staff excellent. It's the best Italian in Weymouth. I had the Tagliatelli salmone - it was delicious my granddaughter hsd Pomodora which she loved.

Went here for our last day dinner,had the arribiata pasta and a chicken pepperoni and pepper pizza made into a calzone..food great service great all genuine Italians..one thing I will say is the chef has the staff literally running back and forth to collect the food when it's ready..1 ding of the bell and if it's not collected in 10 seconds there were several more impatient "dings"..one poor girl was actually running all the time we were there to get the food out..even another staff member working behind bar had to join in as ding ding the chef was slapping the bell like a man possessed..now I understand he wants his food out hot and on time but this was crazy if you get sat towards the back you will see this.. overall a nice place to go I just felt for the staff

I enjoyed the anti pasto misto starter but my main (Spaghetti Carbonara) just didn't taste of anything really, other Italian places it has been very tasteful and creamy but here it is awful. We weren't asked if we would like any more drinks part way through the meal and the service seemed quite rushed, as if they wanted us to leave.

To say the meal was rushed is an understatement. Eight of us had been served drinks, starters and mains and had paid the bill in less than an hour. This is the most unwelcoming Italian restaurant I have ever been in. The food was bland and just ordinary to say the least. The Mackeral tasted of vinegar (at least it had a taste) but the calamari clearly looked like the frozen ones from supermarkets, but with no flavour. Mains- well what can I say that hasn’t already been echoed by many others that have left reviews on here? If you were tasting it blindfolded you wouldn’t know what you were eating. The most attention we got from the staff were when we were leaving. No curtesy check, no asking if we would like more drinks, nothing. We would not go there again. If I could give it no stars I would. #dontbother #tastelessfood #wasteofmoney

Seated us on a busy Sunday night without reservation and were incredible all night. Being as attentive as possible when they were clearly swamped and busy! Beautiful food and lovely area of the beach! Couldn’t recommend this place more but I recommend getting a reservation first!

Fantastic service and the best fillet Steak I've had years

It was a special night for me and my partner. The food was very good but everything was very rushed giving the impression that they wanted you to eat and go quickly. We were processed rather than a relaxed service. The waiter never asked if the food was ok This is disappointing and I think they should learn from similar comments made in other reviews

Was there this evening and must say an absolute credit to them , the food , the service , the atmosphere was absolutely 5* last night of our holiday wish we had found it sooner

We came here for our 15th wedding anniversary. We were seated in an area where lots of customers and staff walked past which wasn't relaxing. The service was almost too good as we had a three course meal in an hour. We felt a bit rushed. Food was nice but not worth the price. This was the most money we have ever paid for a meal. But it won't be a memorable occasion.

There were 2 of us on a Sunday evening, the whole restaurant was full, we hadn't booked, they seated us quickly, the waiters were very kind and helpful, the food was excellent!! The clean restaurant is precise. The best mussels I've ever tried 😋. The pizza was excellent too, a great experience, if I ever return to those parts I will definitely go and eat at Enzo's! Congrats on the service and great food!

We had dinner at Enzo's, we wanted to eat Italian and we had a great time. The place is welcoming, very Italy style, the waitresses are very kind and attentive to the customer. The food is of quality. I highly recommend it if you want to eat well and feel a bit at "home"

Are starter of crab cakes needed a bit more crab but main couse was very good as was dessert the coffee liquor was poor and before we had finished are wine the bill was presented on the table. Being an Italian restaurant don't think you can have a romantic meal. All just a little rushed.

VERY disappointed the food was tasteless .

I sat down at 13:40 and was greeted by the waiter saying to me that the kitchen closed at. 14:00… As I was alone I could not but help thinking that this was a little out of place… I nevertheless ordered an Aperol spritz, some garlic bread and the Salmon and avocado salad. The food arrived very quickly and was very tasty and well presented. I was also offered some freshly ground pepper by the waiter. I proceeded to enjoy my meal whilst watching the beach and the passersby, several of which were told upon enquiry that the restaurant was closed, which caused some confusion as several guests including myself were still eating…

Absolutely love this place! Never had a bad meal here & highly recommend. The restaurant itself is gorgeous with modern decor, the staff are very attentive and courteous with an authentic Italian charm, and the food is delicious! The fillet steak is the best I've had. Very accommodating to children with a good ample kids menu - the pizza & pasta portions are big for children & they always eat it all! Thank you so much to Enzo & his team.

Went there for dinner tonight as a family of 4. Were seated in the basement (even though they saw the pushchair we had). The staff came across very stressed and rude. Got the wrong beer (non alcoholic instead of a regular one) and a half-ready pizza. When I mentioned this to the lady serving us, she took my plate away in a rude manner immediately. Some minutes later I got another, but wrong pizza. As we had limited time, I had to leave the place hungry. Avoid this place. They have no customer orientation.

Booked ahead for our anniversary, on arrival we were quite abruptly told to stand to the side and wait, they then seated another party of guests from behind us, we were asked 3 times what our order was before we had chance to read the very small print on the menu, after that the food came one course after another and slammed down on the table so quick we were in and out in less than 40 minutes after we were seated, this was supposed to have been a celebration evening for us but felt like a big rush to get us out to seat another customer.

Everytime we go to Weymouth we make sure we always book to go to Enzo. The food is amazing, the service is always friendly and attentive and the staff are so welcoming also with a lovely location right on the seafront. Would highly recommend and we will be back the next time we are in Weymouth.

I had Lemon Sole which was cooked to perfection, two huge fillets and my husband had steak Diane which he said was tender and a wonderful flavour the vegetables were fresh and with lovely crispy roast potatoes. I had the French apple tart which had very rich melt in your mouth pastry and my husband had the tiramisu which he said is the best he’s ever had! All the staff were very attentive and good humoured and we had a lovely chat with the owner who is a chef himself and certainly knows his stuff. All in all we had a perfect authentic Italian meal and can’t wait to go back.

We ate very well, what struck us most was the kindness of the Italian owner, his name is Enzo, he was too kind to us, helpful, offered us coffee and more! Even the very good waitress who is also Italian. I highly recommend eating here. Well done!!!!

Fantastic find. Myself and a mate of mine thoroughly enjoyed pizza and pasta. Service was great from the ladies and the two gentleman who seemed like great leaders; the personification of passion that I love to see from Latino restaurants.
