Amazing restaurant, with a great friendly atmosphere

Seems to have lost some of its atmosphere, hard to explain. Service was good as was the food generally although my steak was somewhat tough.

Fantastic quality of food and varied menu. Fresh fish was excellent. Great views and service too. Traditionally Italian.

As an Italian in can easily say this is the best Italian restaurant in the area, proper authentic food. Also dog friendly.

Greeted by Enzo himself with big smiles. Taken to lovely table & given menu & chose the fillet steak in mushrooms...absolutely delicious,tender & cooked exactly how we requested. Helped with wine choice by our waiter who was also full of smiles & attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant...superb in every way frm its cleanliness/spotless toilets/food & wine choice/excellent service& just a brilliant dining experience. On a weekend break & so happy we were recommend this reastaurant.

We arrived late-ish in town, wandering the esplanade we found this fabulous restaurant! Everything, from the greeting by Enzo, the delicious meal ( we had 3 courses), outstanding wine and attentive service was faultless. We chatted with Enzo after our meal and found him to be a restaurateur that really cares about his customers and his business. I highly recommend you dine at Enzo, it’s honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had during our 5 months touring the UK.

Fantastic Italian food. Will be back again I had the Tortellini Renato very tasty and fresh pasta, the host Enzo was great and made sure we were looked after in a relaxed calm friendly manner.

The food was lovely, but it felt very rushed , my plate was taken away before asking if I had finished my pizza , the staff are running around, and we felt like they wanted us to move so they could have the table , we didn't actually ask for the bill, it was put on the table as soon as we finished our desserts

Food and staff excellent. It's the best Italian in Weymouth. I had the Tagliatelli salmone - it was delicious my granddaughter hsd Pomodora which she loved.

Went here for our last day dinner,had the arribiata pasta and a chicken pepperoni and pepper pizza made into a calzone..food great service great all genuine Italians..one thing I will say is the chef has the staff literally running back and forth to collect the food when it's ready..1 ding of the bell and if it's not collected in 10 seconds there were several more impatient "dings"..one poor girl was actually running all the time we were there to get the food out..even another staff member working behind bar had to join in as ding ding the chef was slapping the bell like a man possessed..now I understand he wants his food out hot and on time but this was crazy if you get sat towards the back you will see this.. overall a nice place to go I just felt for the staff

To say the meal was rushed is an understatement. Eight of us had been served drinks, starters and mains and had paid the bill in less than an hour. This is the most unwelcoming Italian restaurant I have ever been in. The food was bland and just ordinary to say the least. The Mackeral tasted of vinegar (at least it had a taste) but the calamari clearly looked like the frozen ones from supermarkets, but with no flavour. Mains- well what can I say that hasn’t already been echoed by many others that have left reviews on here? If you were tasting it blindfolded you wouldn’t know what you were eating. The most attention we got from the staff were when we were leaving. No curtesy check, no asking if we would like more drinks, nothing. We would not go there again. If I could give it no stars I would. #dontbother #tastelessfood #wasteofmoney

I enjoyed the anti pasto misto starter but my main (Spaghetti Carbonara) just didn't taste of anything really, other Italian places it has been very tasteful and creamy but here it is awful. We weren't asked if we would like any more drinks part way through the meal and the service seemed quite rushed, as if they wanted us to leave.

Seated us on a busy Sunday night without reservation and were incredible all night. Being as attentive as possible when they were clearly swamped and busy! Beautiful food and lovely area of the beach! Couldn’t recommend this place more but I recommend getting a reservation first!

Fantastic service and the best fillet Steak I've had years

It was a special night for me and my partner. The food was very good but everything was very rushed giving the impression that they wanted you to eat and go quickly. We were processed rather than a relaxed service. The waiter never asked if the food was ok This is disappointing and I think they should learn from similar comments made in other reviews

Was there this evening and must say an absolute credit to them , the food , the service , the atmosphere was absolutely 5* last night of our holiday wish we had found it sooner

We came here for our 15th wedding anniversary. We were seated in an area where lots of customers and staff walked past which wasn't relaxing. The service was almost too good as we had a three course meal in an hour. We felt a bit rushed. Food was nice but not worth the price. This was the most money we have ever paid for a meal. But it won't be a memorable occasion.

me and my boyfriend are italian, we are here on holiday and we wanted to try this italian restaurant, we were really very satisfied, the food was delicious, the fish super fresh and the dessert really delicious, the staff super kind and friendly, very nice and professional, we will definitely come back in these days

There were 2 of us on a Sunday evening, the whole restaurant was full, we hadn't booked, they seated us quickly, the waiters were very kind and helpful, the food was excellent!! The clean restaurant is precise. The best mussels I've ever tried 😋. The pizza was excellent too, a great experience, if I ever return to those parts I will definitely go and eat at Enzo's! Congrats on the service and great food!

We had dinner at Enzo's, we wanted to eat Italian and we had a great time. The place is welcoming, very Italy style, the waitresses are very kind and attentive to the customer. The food is of quality. I highly recommend it if you want to eat well and feel a bit at "home"

Lovely choice of gluten free food though a little disappointed to pay extra for gf pasta.

Are starter of crab cakes needed a bit more crab but main couse was very good as was dessert the coffee liquor was poor and before we had finished are wine the bill was presented on the table. Being an Italian restaurant don't think you can have a romantic meal. All just a little rushed.

VERY disappointed the food was tasteless .

I sat down at 13:40 and was greeted by the waiter saying to me that the kitchen closed at. 14:00… As I was alone I could not but help thinking that this was a little out of place… I nevertheless ordered an Aperol spritz, some garlic bread and the Salmon and avocado salad. The food arrived very quickly and was very tasty and well presented. I was also offered some freshly ground pepper by the waiter. I proceeded to enjoy my meal whilst watching the beach and the passersby, several of which were told upon enquiry that the restaurant was closed, which caused some confusion as several guests including myself were still eating…

Absolutely love this place! Never had a bad meal here & highly recommend. The restaurant itself is gorgeous with modern decor, the staff are very attentive and courteous with an authentic Italian charm, and the food is delicious! The fillet steak is the best I've had. Very accommodating to children with a good ample kids menu - the pizza & pasta portions are big for children & they always eat it all! Thank you so much to Enzo & his team.

Went there for dinner tonight as a family of 4. Were seated in the basement (even though they saw the pushchair we had). The staff came across very stressed and rude. Got the wrong beer (non alcoholic instead of a regular one) and a half-ready pizza. When I mentioned this to the lady serving us, she took my plate away in a rude manner immediately. Some minutes later I got another, but wrong pizza. As we had limited time, I had to leave the place hungry. Avoid this place. They have no customer orientation.

Booked ahead for our anniversary, on arrival we were quite abruptly told to stand to the side and wait, they then seated another party of guests from behind us, we were asked 3 times what our order was before we had chance to read the very small print on the menu, after that the food came one course after another and slammed down on the table so quick we were in and out in less than 40 minutes after we were seated, this was supposed to have been a celebration evening for us but felt like a big rush to get us out to seat another customer.

Everytime we go to Weymouth we make sure we always book to go to Enzo. The food is amazing, the service is always friendly and attentive and the staff are so welcoming also with a lovely location right on the seafront. Would highly recommend and we will be back the next time we are in Weymouth.

I had Lemon Sole which was cooked to perfection, two huge fillets and my husband had steak Diane which he said was tender and a wonderful flavour the vegetables were fresh and with lovely crispy roast potatoes. I had the French apple tart which had very rich melt in your mouth pastry and my husband had the tiramisu which he said is the best he’s ever had! All the staff were very attentive and good humoured and we had a lovely chat with the owner who is a chef himself and certainly knows his stuff. All in all we had a perfect authentic Italian meal and can’t wait to go back.

First time dining here and we were very impressed. Food was fantastic and the service was second to none. We will def be going back when we're down here next.

We ate very well, what struck us most was the kindness of the Italian owner, his name is Enzo, he was too kind to us, helpful, offered us coffee and more! Even the very good waitress who is also Italian. I highly recommend eating here. Well done!!!!

Fantastic find. Myself and a mate of mine thoroughly enjoyed pizza and pasta. Service was great from the ladies and the two gentleman who seemed like great leaders; the personification of passion that I love to see from Latino restaurants. We had two courses in this restaurant and were rushed to finish our meal within half an hour in order to make space for new customers to have a table. Food was dished out alarmingly quickly, less than 5 minutes after recieving drinks. Chicken was raw in places, arribiata pasta tasted somewhat ready-made/shop bought. Waiter took my friends knife away to replace it with a steak knife but was never given one. Couldn't get the waiter's attention so had to grab a knife from another table. Waiters were rushing around as if it was Piccadilly Circus, this was not a relaxed Italian meal. Bella ciao! (not) We shan't be returning.

Went three times during our two weeks holiday. Would recommend to anybody. Great food very friendly staff and the owner was lovely.

Authentic Italian, all waiters speaking in Italian. Owner very engaged and part of delivering service, ensuring his customers enjoy themselves. We were seated around 6:15pm on a Saturday in early July, didn't need to book. Restaurant half full. Seating both upstairs and downstairs, very large restaurant and decor is really beautiful, calming atmosphere. Separate toilet facilities for men and women, well kept. Food service was prompt. Pizzas delicious, thin and crispy, generous toppings, quality ice cream for dessert (chocolate pieces in the chocolate ice cream, strawberry pieces in the strawberry). Happy to provide extra plates and spoons when we wanted to share. Only area of improvement I'd mention is being more welcoming to children - having something to do whilst they wait (most restaurants provide crayons and colouring) and waiters didn't seem to want to smile or speak with the children. We have a much better time as a family when we are all engaged at the restaurant. It didn't feel unwelcoming, but it would have made a difference to our children's experience.

My wife and I visited Enzo with a friend on 2nd July 24 and really enjoyed our time there. The staff are very helpful and polite and the quality of the food is excellent. We will look forward to our next visit. Thank you 😊

Amazing food for great value. Lovely atmosphere inside the restaurant with the view of the sea from the window. This was exactly what we needed after a day of cycling around Weymouth and Portland. Service was very quick here. The banoffee pie here is the best dessert I have had at a restaurant. Thank you for a lovely dinner!! Fully recommend this place !

Great food, good value and good service

I've been visiting weymouth for years and always wanted to go here. Finally got here tonight, and it didn't disappoint at all. The 3 courses I had were absolutely amazing and so tasty. I will be going back next week to try something new and will be back for sure next year.

Had to wait a bit to be spoken to and finally seated despite having booked ahead. That asides service excellent from there on. Food was delicious, as was on previous visit. Service between courses speedy.

Booked a table for 2 people in March/April this year for our meal this evening 28/6/24. Table booked 19.00hrs, order taken within 10 minutes of arriving, drink order taken within 5 mins, bought out straight away, our meal was bought out to us after 5 minutes after ordering, so not fresh and not cooked from scratch, my linguine was not al-dente. Waiter did not even ask how meal was Felt very rushed this evening, out by 19.50hrs, so unfortunately will not return as experience was not a good one this time, this was 3rd time visiting too

Everything was perfect. The food, the service, the view. Will go back there again.

Great italian on the seafront of Weymouth, food was good quality and arrived quickly. Only downside was the waiting staff at the end of service was different to the start and we had difficulties communicating with them that we wanted the bill. They just kept saying random words and smiling.

Had a wonderful evening at this lovely Italian restaurant on weymouth seafront. The food was fantastic. Crab cakes to start, spaghetti carbonara main and profiteroles for dessert. The waiter who served us, Leo was wonderful! He worked so hard as did all the other staff. ♡

Went to celebrate my wife's birthday and there was 7 adults and 3 children under 5 and the staff were excellent. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. They also put a sparkling candle in my wife's dessert as a surprise for her birthday. Excellent service - will definitely go back when visiting weymouth again.

grub & service good, but the waiter tipped someone's desert down my back & brand new JOE BROWN SHIRT & JEANS , he was very sorry ! he wiped me down with a paper serviettes, spoke to whoever was in charge who had a s..t attitude ! he told the waiter to take £10 off the bill out of his own wallet!!..... wasn't even offered a shot of that mankie lemon stuff, also check the service before booking, will be giving a miss while we are here.We are one of approximately 100+ caravans at the rugby club for 10 days, .........?

Food was good but experience was let down by the waiter spilling a banoffee desert all over my friend. Quite a mess. No discount or recompense offered for the clothes which were very sticky. Situation further exasperated by the Ower telling the waiter he would loose 10pound from his sallery which further embarrassed us and cased an uncomfortable atmosphere

After looking forward to having a meal after reading the reviews what a let down, ordered two fillet steaks they were that tough you would have needed a saw to cut them. They replaced with two sirloin that wasn’t much better. Our friend had to eat their meal alone as did we. Spent over two hundred pound and not even a complementary drink.

This is not only the best Italian restaurant in Weymouth, but I’d probably say it’s the best Italian restaurant in Dorset. It’s very authentic, with all of the staff actually being from Italy. (Many Italian chains don’t have any Italian staff! ) It’s a family run restaurant, with photographs of the family on the wall, which is a great touch. The food is great, and very tasty, no matter which dish you go for, and the service is fast, and polite. I have been to Enzo’s many times now, and will continue to return. Please keep up the great work Enzo, and I’ll see you soon. Brad

I went in out of curiosity, because usually in Italian restaurants or pizzerias I find staff from other countries and instead I was stunned. The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is relaxing and classy, ​​the staff (ALL ITALIAN) is welcoming and friendly but above all the espresso and cappuccino are delicious. Thanks Enzo, it was a pleasure meeting you, I will definitely come again

15/4/24 We wanted to dine at an authentic Italian restaurant during our trip to Weymouth from Bristol, and we came across Enzo’s. From start to finish we couldn’t fault it. Very friendly and welcoming staff, the variety of food on the menu was great, something for everyone. We all had pizzas and they were cooked in perfect Italian style. Very efficient service and great value for money. We would definitely recommend and will be returning next time we are in Weymouth.

Just a fast food restaurant with over priced sub standard food. We ordered the veal and the slices were ribbon thin and tough.

In our quest for Italian cuisine, we stumbled upon Enzo Italian Restaurant, drawn by its promising ratings and proximity to our location in Weymouth. Our culinary journey commenced with the bruschetta and mussels, both of which proved to be flavorful delights. The mussels, though served as starters, boasted generous portions, while the bruschetta impressed with its simple yet delectable combination of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. For our main courses, we opted for the linguine risotto and Pollo Amalfi. While the risotto delivered on taste, the calamari unfortunately fell short, being overcooked and disappointingly rubbery. Similarly, although the sauce accompanying the Pollo Amalfi offered a burst of flavor, the accompanying vegetables lacked the attention to detail that would have elevated the dish. Despite its promising start, our experience at Enzo Italian Restaurant ultimately left us feeling underwhelmed. While certain dishes shone with flavor and quality, others fell short of expectations, resulting in a mixed dining experience.

Visited this lovely Italian restaurant whilst visiting family and the food was very good and service was friendly if the more inexperienced waiting staff made a few faux pars (handing us dessert menus after the starters!). An enjoyable place to be and a good selection of dishes to choose from. The white bait and scallops are both excellent starters, and the cheeseboard was good. The pasta dishes went down well with our group but I was a little disappointed with the portions for the veal and vegetables if I'm honest. Maybe another visit to try the pasta next time, might bump the grade up a bit?

Awesome pizza and a banging salad. Very nice wine as well. Travelling for work and dining alone, I often find Italian restaurants not quite so welcoming, however I received a warm welcome and excellent service. The food (pizza picante) was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while, accompanied by a really nice tomato and onion salad. I’ve only scored 4 for atmosphere as it was a cold Tuesday night in March and the place was only half full so I don’t think I can give it a full 5* but I certainly don’t want anyone to think it was lacking in that respect.

Nice Italian restaurant on the sea front. Lots of seating. Split level upstairs. Downstairs to the toilets and same size restaurant again. Friendly service. Nice food. Good value.

Starters, we had calamari, very chewy and rubbery, so over cooked. Lasagne is very bland, and no flavour was quite disappointing! However my partner had tagliatelle which he said was very nice and that he enjoyed it. Table service was good, but that's about it. Shame really, as I was expecting a lot more from the reviews.

We had a lovely evening up to the point the waiter asked us to move to another table because somebody else had booked our table!! The chicken was a little bit overcooked in one of the dishes.

Abbiamo trascorso la sera dell'ultimo dell'anno da Enzo. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene e siamo stati in allegria fino a dopo la mezzanotte ballando musica molto gradevole. Anche durante la cena la musica dal vivo ha rallegrato la serata. Non so se torneremo a Weymouth, ma se mai dovesse succedere torneremo da Enzo.
