Entree in City of London, Westminster

Stopped here on a whim and enjoyed fresh pastries, fresh squeezed juice, fruit, delicious coffees and tasty egg/salmon and egg cheese pastries. Very friendly service too.

We needed a local venue for breakfast as hotel we were in did not have a restaurant. We needed to have an early breakfast before checking out our overnight stay. This looked like a clean venue and was open from 8am. We arrived before 9am. The only downside was they didn’t accept cash just cards. (This may have been temporary) We paid by card. The food is fresh and of high quality. Only Georgian cafe/bakery I’ve ever been in. While there it was visited by tourists, locals and people on their way to work. This road has a number of eateries and includes Gail’s bakery a couple of doors down. This seemed better, which is why we went there. It was clean and one person at front of shop polite. I had a bun with mozzarella, lettuce and ham, with a cappuccino. Couldn’t fault either. My friend had much more but is vegetarian and can’t recall all she had. The fruit looked fresh, etc. Venue had some Georgian art/posters on one wall. Seating clean and comfortable. Apparently, they have a venue also in Berkeley square and Notting Hill Gate. The rest are in Tbilisi or Baku. So these three London venues are only ones in the UK.
