Great food, especially the fish! And a good range of drinks available. Service was attentive without being overbearing and the restaurants ambience was very smart, yet still relaxed. Thank you!

This is a great little hotel and Italian restaurant. Stayed here many times and on each visit the staff have been brilliant. Always helpful and flexible and go that little bit further to ensure you have a good experience.

Top notch service, brought my partner here for her birthday for a meal, hotel and breakfast! She said she felt like a princess cause she was treated like royalty! Staff was extremely accommodating, parking was limited and small a tab difficult but staff member moved their own car in the rain for us! Cannot recommend any higher, 15/10 amazing!

Ennios was an absolutely wonderful experience. We booked it for two nights before our cruise out of Southampton. The hotel is a short taxi drive or long walk to the cruise port. The rooms are absolutely wonderful. Spacious, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and great shower. There is a cute bar adjacent to the restaurant and a nice sitting area with tables and comfortable chairs. The restaurant is wonderful and the food is fantastic. Breakfast is included and just perfect with a variety of choices. The best part about Ennios is the staff. All are personable, happy, helpful, and kind. Antonio, Nina, Sam, Hassan, and Joe are all wonderful members of this fine hotel and restaurant. Anything they all could do to make our stay perfect was the first order of their day. They will also gladly make a taxi reservation for you at any time with a very professional, on time, and high-quality transport company. An absolutely wonderful experience!!!

These guys really know their business superb hotel fantastic food and wonderful service. The rooms need a special mention as they were quite wonderful and particularly impressed with the near silent air conditioning on a very hot day. All the staff went out of their way to make our stay seem very special we will certainly be back one of the very best hotels we have stayed in for a very long time

We were party of six, had drinks at bar followed by dinner. We were unpleasantly surprised with the quality of the food as have read many recent good reviews about this restaurant and look forward to nice dining and evening before our cruise. Every order were not up to mark - oysters not fresh, mussels hit and miss with some fresh and some not fresh, calamari fritter too oily, their special lemon sole over-salted and veal chop overcooked. Nothing seems right for our palates. Rather disappointing meal.

I visited the restaurant recently and was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service from all the staff. They were attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Leighton, in particular, stood out with his passion and lively personality, adding a special touch to our dining experience. We even had a great conversation about rugby, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The food exceeded my expectations, both in taste and presentation, with the lasagna being the highlight of the meal. I highly recommend this place!

What an experience! We set out on a Sunday evening with another restaurant in mind, after being disappointed with the said establishment we headed to Ennio's in hope for a better reception. We had two dogs with us so we sat outside, (which was just perfect in the sunset and to watch the ferrys come and go) our first encounter was with the lovely waitress bringing our dogs a fresh bowl of water, how thoughtful! After this every member of the team were so welcoming, attentive and made us feel special. The food was amazing, so tasty; in our sons words..... incredible! Thank you for a lovely evening!

Ennios is a very traditional, high-end Italian restaurant (which also has rooms). As locals, we have only been to the restaurant: which is excellent. Food options change regularly and are varied. In my experience, it is one of the best places in Southampton to eat fish, although the meat options are also great and the pasta is very good too. There is a large and well-chosen wine list that also has interesting options at the lower end of the price scale. Service is discrete, professional and very, very good. Desserts appear to be made in-house and are great. It is not cheap, but is still very good value and we enjoy going there for special occasions.

Just fantastic! Had booked in at the tapas next door due to the amazing reviews! After 4 dishes, poor food and poor service we left. And wandered into Enios in the hope of a table. The amazing staff accommodated us. And the food was amazing and the service too! Thank you for saving our night before our cruise. Xx

I can't say enough good about Ennio's! They have to be the nicest people in South Hampton! Very accommodating, very friendly, the food is great, the room is cozy. Christoph (manager) helped me by ordering a wheel for my wheelchair when it broke. He ordered it from Amazon so that I could get it the next day. If you need a room in South Hampton or just a night out to eat...GO TO ENNIO'S!

Graduation dinner here. Service was excellent, drinks were amazing. Food was delicious and the ambience was great.

We reserved Ennios for a meal on the evening of the 18th of July the night before our cruise. It was a short walk from the Holiday Inn where we are staying. The staff were friendly, attentive but not fussing over us. The food was amazing, fresh, and tasty. The choices of wines and other drinks to accompany the meal were varied and we had no problem choosing our selection of food and drinks. We would definitely recommend others to try the restaurant, it will not disappoint?

The dining is phenomenal, well crafted dishes each in both presentation and flavor profiles. Extensive wine selection; not just expensive wines (they have those too) but also carefully selected wines that are relatively inexpensive, but difficult to find without industry contacts. Friendly and social atmosphere, without rushing. Some of the few poor reviews here deal with timing; this is intentionally not a quick venue, but one where you should bring friends, should ask for advice about wine or dish, give compliments if earned, and ask for your check when you are ready. Calling for an appointment is appreciated, even if by just a few minutes, to ensure they can give their full attention. They treated us and other patrons like family. We stayed in one of the 10 rooms, and had 2 breakfasts + 1 dinner. I believe the only way to have breakfast is with a room. The breakfast was incredible. I had the "Romsey" both days; smoked salmon and hollandaise with lemongrass and basil. The location is excellent for cruises, short walk or long walk (perhaps 20 minutes) depending on berth. Interesting neighborhood sites and shopping within half a mile in 3 directions.

The team at Ennios provided us not only with a 5 star hotel/service experience but also an incredible fine dining delicious Italian dinner in the restaurant the evening of our precruise stay. Making a reservation, subsequent communication about our stay and support to coordinate a taxi the day of departure was seamless. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Shower pressure was great. As there was no elevator the assistance with our luggage was very much appreciated. The bar area has a cozy and welcoming ambiance. Note there is limited on-site car parking so if driving yourself, bear that in mind. As a boutique hotel you must ensure to make arrangements with them if you are arriving late in the evening. Rooms include a kettle, mini frig and mini bar. We did not walk around the area and can only advise it's across from the ferry terminal and close to the cruise piers.

We stayed here and had dinner and breakfast. Excellent all around highly recommend as a place to go when visiting Southampton or departing on a cruise. If we ever get back we will stay and eat here.

A warm and cosy restaurant, with a very friendly atmosphere. The food is outstanding, cooked beautifully, and served by wonderful waiting staff that contribute to the dining experience just as much as the chefs in the kitchen. "La bella figura" of Italian cooking is on display here

Didn't stay in the hotel but had an absolutely lovely meal here for our anniversary. A enuine and authentic Italian - you won't find pizza here but a variety of pasta and Italian meat and fish dishes all served with a happy smile. The restaurant has been voted best Italian in Hampshire several times and it's well earned. Service was pleasant but very Italian, don't be in a rush to go anywhere and you will have a lovely time

Disappointing early evening meal in the restaurant. Nice old building and pleasantly furnished. Convenient location on the waterfront. Restaurant service ranged from surely to friendly depending on the waiter that attended to us. Menu choice seemed rather limited. Both of us have dietary issues and both ‘mixed salad’ and ‘chunky roasted Italian vegetables’ couldn’t apparently be served without some ingredients (which suggests basic bags of cash and carry products!) Not at all exceptional for the prices charged. When again in Southampton we will certainly be looking elsewhere.
