English Breakfast And VEGETARIAN CAFE in North Tyneside

Am ashamed to say the my order today was microwave slop, raw potatoes, packet mash, must have got the Yorkshire pudding from herons and the so called smoothie was frozen crap in water. Will never order again. So disappointed 😞

Went off reviews for a vegetarian breakfast, but unfortunately, they use the same grill for the vegetarian food as the meat. The cook said he cleans it down, but it was a No from me. You can't call it vegetarian if there isn't a separate prep and cooking area. Deep fat fryer used for meat. It's not really clean. Tables still with crumbs on, floor under griddle dirty with oil and food debris. Totally put me off. My partner had the Fat Cat breakfast. Mushrooms fresh, black pudding fresh, sausages deep fried, black pudding deep fried. Not given the option of buttering the toast yourself as it's done for you. I never received my order, I think the address was wrong

I specifically left a note for this shop and once again got order wrong happened a few times now sent wrong food won’t be using again what’s the point in leaving a note if yous don’t take a second to read it 😣

The food and service was amazing, it's so lovely to have vegan + vegetarian options. The guy that took our order gave us recommendations and let us modify our breakfast to how we like. Definitely a regular spot for us now, thanks so much!

Got the large portion and it literally had me unable to move for an hour 😂 hot and lovely cooked food! And the rainbow cake is lovely 😋 highly recommend.

Delicious breakfast sarnie as always

A little gem in the heart of Wallsend. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, a very chilled atmosphere and ample seating (this was at 9:30am so will get busier during the day). Definitely value for money. Ordered 2 different types of breakfast and they did not disappoint. Food was phenomenal, everything cooked to perfection. So much so that we couldn't finish because of the portion size. This has now become our preferred breakfast venue and look forward to future visits 😁

I asked for bacon not to be crispy. It came crispy. Both sandwiches in the bin

Have ordered takeaway before and were well yummy 😋 but went in the cafe today, and it was perfect ordered scottish breakfast and veggie breakfast with a mug of tea and latte 😀 staff was great! Will definitely be back!

Gorgeous food, will definitely be ordering again

I've never actually visited the cafe but I often order from here and love it. The range of vegetarian food is incredible, but they also sell meat so me and my non-vegetarian friends can order from the same place. My Muslim friend also loves the no pork breakfast. I feel like the cafe really caters to everyone and the food is delicious

Will never get a breakfast from anywhere else

As someone who doesn’t eat red meat but not a vegetarian, it’s so difficult to get an English breakfast so was thrilled to see the turkey bacon and chicken sausage English breakfast. It was so delicious, and would definitely recommend!

We have really enjoyed our English breakfast. The veg option was nice too! My son loved his rainbow cake. The staff is very friendly and has done everything to make us feel welcome. Perfect spot for a bite before or after visiting the Segedunum.

I was abit disappointed tbh I’d asked for a few substitutes as I didn’t want 4x items(toms, mushrooms, black pudding 2x hash brown) and I only received 2 and then changed toast to fried bread. And they didn’t plus eggs wherent cooked right they where jellyI think when your paying £9 for a breakfast you should get more if your wanting top dollar

Full order was barely warm. Ordered cheesy chips & received plain hard chips. The beef dip was cheap, chewy and microwaved. The kids nugget meal was clearly sat for a while & was rubbery. Was not worth the money spent and won’t be returning. Wouldn’t recommend.

Unfortunately the food arrived cold it looks like it wasn’t delivered in a thermal bag. The restaurant did wrap it in foil in an attempt to keep it warm but the driver didn’t use their thermal bag which in this cold weather wasn’t a good idea

Lost a full chicken curry due to the new boxes it’s just fell out the bottom onto the floor when taking it out the foil

Cardboard carton very flimsy for a meal of mince and dumpling had almost collapsed. Also smaller than previous plastic container so less food but same price shrinkflation at work. Because container so flimsy meal almost cold when received. Will not be ordering the mince again.
