First visit to the tea rooms and I’ll certainly be back. Lovely indoor and outdoor space beautifully kept with pretty flowers, seating areas and a lovely view from the garden. We were served afternoon tea served in traditional tea cups/plates. The sandwiches, scones and cake we delicious with tea/coffee top ups. The ‘icing on the cake’ was the service. A very attentive young man brought our food promptly, topping up our drinks and regularly checking if we needed anything.

We had a wonderful afternoon tea for 26 of us yesterday, in the marquee next to the tea room. The wind & rain were relentless, but Liz and her team did us proud & the sun eventually came out! Great fresh sandwiches, lovely variety of flavours, tasty scones with jam & cream & fabulous cakes and strawberries to finish, with copious amount of tea - couldn’t have asked for more. We will be back!

We passed this wonderful place on the way to buy plants, so stopped on our way back. What a fabulous find it was. The premises were spotless, the staff friendly and welcoming and the food surpassed our expectations. We both had Paninis, one with Bacon and Cheese, the other Brie, Bacon and Cranberry. They same with salad garnish and crisps and more than satisfied our hungry appetites. Thank you, a most enjoyable experience

Was so looking forward to going back to this place but disappointed. The coffee tasted of very little and the choice of cakes was minimal. Used to love the Vic Sponge, Coffee & Walnut, carrot cake but none of these on offer. Looked like it was concentrating more on fry up breakfasts.Shame as it is a beautiful spot for a traditional tearoom.

The tea rooms have just opened their inside rooms, having had a marquee to keep going during The Pandemic Period, which has driven us all bonkers: how nice to come back to doing something as normal and pleasurable as enjoying a splendid brunch! And splendid it was - my husband had the best full English he can remember and my breakfast bap, with perfectly crisped bacon, as I asked, was wonderful. The place is spotless, the staff friendly; what’s not to like?! We shall definitely be back: they do lunches, afternoon teas (bookable in advance and looking very toothsome) as well as coffee. A great addition to a great little village!

My experience was greatly marred by being short changed - it took two phone calls before the matter was corrected and, though the error was that of the cafe, I was put to inconvenience and charged for the postage. Lesson learned pay by card. Nevertheless the food was good as was the service. The venue is humble but ideal for small groups, say 20, when the room will be full to bursting.

What a wonderful place to visit. A hidden jem, set in lovely surroundings. You can eat inside the small, attractive interior or outside (weather permitting) in the pretty garden. Menu varied for snacks, light lunches and wonderful home made cakes, Sometimes there is a wait as everything is freshly made but always delicious . Do try it, you will want to visit time after time. Enjoy!!

I attend a charity in Henley and I went out with a group of adults from the charity. We were made very welcome and were served quickly, although not rushed to finish in any way. I had a ham and egg baguet which I can recommend. Fresh bread and very tasty. I also had coffee which was plentiful and strong and the bill was very reasonable.

I didn't visit the store only the tea room, which is really a cafe as they serves proper lunches not just tea. Had a lovely tasty jacket potato and my friend had a lovely salad platter. Followed by meringue with strawberries and cream, and coffee cake. Very quaint with rows of novelty teapots hanging from a beam. Not much room inside, about 6 tables but same again outside, so gets busy. Hand knitted toys, jams, chutney etc for sale, also painting by local artist. Staff very friendly and place clean, has customer toilet. Parking can be tricky near the cafe, which is behind the store, as on the only road in and out of the village but two spaces for use of blue badge holders behind the cottages.

Even though I live within 10 minutes this was my first visit to the tea rooms. It's in a small, beautiful village and is hidden behind the village shop. The service is very friendly, prompt and polite. We enjoyed a nice pot of tea with cakes - yum.The tea rooms are small and costly, definitely a nice village feel and they are very welcoming. I will be visiting again soonParking is located on the road outside but it's a very quiet village and a no through road.

We had our wedding reception at the Old Boot on the 7th September and it's hard to put into words how amazing the team were in making it such a memorable day/evening. Mel and Michael were amazing in the run up to the event. Totally calm and collected in planning. Things I was worrying about where instantly addressed and my slightly frantic Bridal brain was put at easy at every turn. The Tepees and garden looked incredible! ALL The staff were charming from start to finish. The food was EPIC...some of the best I've ever tasted at a wedding, all the while feeling very relaxed and unstuffy. EVERY guest has commented since on the amazing venue so I would strongly advise anyone looking for somewhere in the area to go try it out. Brilliant!

Lovely sunny garden with plenty of seating and shade. Excellent varied menu from which I chose the smoked salmon and then a ribeye steak. My partner had pigeon and then monk fish all of which arrived piping hot and was very tasty - we cleared our plates! Definitely would recommend this pub both for a drink and for food. The garden is lovely, they are dog friendly and the interior has had a stylish makeover which makes sitting inside a pleasure
