Fascinating place and an amazing array of goods from the past and also have a nice lunch

Best emporium in the area. Very clean and warm, with lots of interesting things to see and buy.

A lot of beautiful items, some at a great price, everything was displayed nicely. Good cafe, all the staff were great.

We visited the garden centre for the first time since it reopened a couple of weeks ago. What a gem of a place it is now. A lovely selection of plants, beautifully presented and the prices are so much better than anywhere else we've been. This will certainly be our go-to garden centre from this point forward!

Stop here every week for gluten free cakes and breakfast cannot fault it the cooks are very good and staff very polite and friendly.5/5. Cannot fault them. Thank you bob/Mandy.

What a find! Our first visit here, ostensibly to get a family heirloom clock repaired but was totally unprepared for what was inside. The place is a total Aladdins Cave, with anything and everything you could want by way of gifts, nick nacks and memorabilia - and in addition to that a very excellent coffee shop cum restaurant. We only had a coffee and a very delicious cake on this occasion, but when we come back to collect said repaired clock we will try some of their other fare from a surprisingly extensive menu for what is quite a compact restaurant, but it doesn't feel small, it's cozy & friendly with sofas where you can lounge with friends and enjoy a coffee. It's not at all hard to find, right beside a busy holiday route to the South Coast, so don't drive past, go & take a look!!

Interesting mix of goods &bric a brac

All the ladies at the desk are so kind and can't do enough to help you. Lots of lovely things and good coffee too. A particularly good place for beautiful clocks.

It's well worth popping in if you're passing. Not only a cafe but a garden centre and antique emporium as well. Fodd is simple but home made cooked to order and very nice.

OMG amazing place full of unusual finds

Delicious cakes and teas served on vintage China made for a memorable time. Have driven past many times, but so glad we dropped in. A good choice of meals and cakes were available, served by friendly, hospitable staff.

This was a surprise. Having passed the site too often we decided to visit . Excellent coffee and cheese scone that nearly beat me With the antiques center here think this is going to be come a regular visit

Plenty of items to arouse curiosity you can certainly spend time here, after went in the cafe for a meal as sign said hot food served all day to be told that they had stopped serving hot food, it was only lunchtime came away disappointed and hungry oh well!

They wouldn't take order for 2 coffees & cake at counter, spoke to waitress on floor, she wouldn't take order either, although had order pad in hand. Sat down waited ten minutes, then gave up (it wasn't busy) they looked at us, but didnt speak, so i said we had wanted to order coffees & cake, one said 'we were too busy', no apology and no attempt to take order from me then! Whole experience beggars belief! The last visit was iffy on service. No excuse for such poor service and communications.

This is now called The Cabin ,within Wardon Hill Trading Post.We went at lunchtime .They cater very well for people who have special diets.My wife suffers from Coeliac disease so has to have Gluten Free food,no wheat in it.The menu here can be adapted to suit any diet.She had the cauliflower cheese which had a small side salad.She said it was piping hot ,lots of cauliflower with a thick cheese sauce.I had the Ploughmans with 3 mains ie Ham,Taw Valley cheddar and Stilton.Large slabs of both the cheeses and 2 slices of ham accompanied by a fresh salad,pickle and pickled onions and a brown roll.We had pot of tea and Americano coffee.£27 for everything.The lady who served us was cheerful and chatty and enjoyed her job.They have toilets and its all on the flat.

A very interesting mixture of antique/collectable "stalls", garden centre, sporting gun shop and a great cafe serving a wide range of food, drinks and good cake all under one roof. Ample parking on site with easy access. Good place to spend time browsing or buying.

Never have I ever been charged for tap water before! Food was very average & since when did a cream tea come without tea? That was extra!! Well worth a visit. Lovely cakes and food in the cafe. I had a cream tea with two warm fruit scones which were delicious and my mum had carrot cake. Stopped here on the way back from Poundbury Garden Centre. Never being here before. Very welcoming. This is the second time I've been here for lunch. The food cannot be faulted. It is delicious and well presented and the portion size us good. The staff have excellent customer service skills. Although I didn't have cake, the cakes on the counter look absolutely perfect. I would strongly recommend this cafe.
