What a wonderful Italian afternoon tea with champagne! We were greeted by a lovely young waiter who showed us to our table which was laid out ready for us with a crystal water decanter and matching glasses, beautiful yellow and white teacups, saucers and side plates, the cutlery was a good quality and all matching. The champagne cork popped, and we were served with a glass each of crisp dry champagne....no Prosecco here, this was the real stuff! The menu was explained to us and the food was freshly made and absolutely delicious, just so different to the usual sandwiches that you get with an afternoon tea. We each received our own teapot of hot tea. The cakes were all so different and bite size and filled with chocolate or custard plus there was scones, jam and cream of course. The service was outstanding, and it was so nice to have the same young man looking after us for the whole experience, his manners were impeccable, and he is a credit to the restaurant.

The cocktails and coffee were very nice I have to admit, however the food was terrible. For an Italian restaurant I ordered a pizza which came pre cut and in a square shape ( non authentic) and to top it off the base was soggy the mushrooms un-cut and the cheese was non existent. I ate it because I was hungry however I will never be returning. The staff were very friendly and welcoming but it took over 10 minutes to be given a menu and 15/20 minutes to order a drink. The pizza was on level with a primary school cook it yourself equivalent.

We visited for Afternoon Tea on Friday 9th February. The whole experience was wonderful. From The welcome we received, the friendliness of staff and the food was delicious. It was a little different to the normal afternoon tea with open sandwiches but very tasty. The cakes were all amazing too. The table was laid beautifully with beautiful china tea cups etc, We were driving so couldn’t enjoy the 2 for 1 on cocktails but from what we saw they looked superb. We will definitely be back again. Well worth a visit.

decided to try somewhere new whilst visiting town and had a quick gander at the menu before going to look in some of the shops, after thinking about it for a bit we decided to visit here for a sandwich and a drink as we only fancied something light for lunch. we ordered 2 of the Chicken Milanese panini and a ham and cheese focaccia as well as 3 teas. the drinks arrived quickly as did the food. the food was delicious and we really loved the fact the chicken sandwich was not caked in mayo as well as the salad was not covered in dressing and we were offered oil and balsamic to add to our liking. the staff seem really freindly will defo be back to try some of the pasta

Me and my patenter came in last Friday as a friend recommended. Did not disappoint I could honestly say it was the best pasta dish I have ever eaten! We will be retuning frequently. Waitress was also very polite and friendly ☺️

Enjoyed my visit but a delightful lunch was let down by badly made tea. A pot of hot water and a teabag in a separate glass isnt the way to make tea. The teabag needs to be in a pot of boiling water. The water wasnt boiling. I could hold the pit in my hands. I did raise it and the manager agreed with me that she knows how to make tea. So why doesnt she tell the people out back making tea 'the American way'. Please sort it out

Me and the partner went here on Friday 21st February and can honestly say this will be the last time we go. We went because my partner is gluten intolerant and they seem to offer a large selection of food without gluten so we decided to give it a try wish we had not bothered as the place was disgusting there was food on chairs next to us dirty glasses on the table that your expected to drink from with food still on them even when new glasses was brought over they was still unclean. The staff need more training around allergies as we watched our waiter pick up a gluten free pizza with her hands to place a pizza cutter on the plate do they not understand regarding cross contamination?
