Tried this place looked at reviews can’t say I wasn’t blessed to find this gem best king prawn curry I’ve ever had and on my third visit in three weeks , not sure how the other food is at the moment as the curry was that nice I’ve had to order 3 times on the trot , give it a go

Ordered for the first time tonight as our regular place has become more expensive. Food was so yummy and the perfect portion sizes. There’s even enough left for tomorrow. Will be ordering from here from now on!

The food was cold but ok once heated up. However I’ve never seen portions as small as this in my life. The chips and sauces were about half as big as I’ve ever seen before. It was expensive too . Feeling quite ripped off obviously !

Great place to eat, food was good, hot and tasted fresh. Went back again later for another dinner!

Have used emperor.for many years.the food and service has always been excellent.cant fault them.and the meal i had last night was exceptional.

Ordered food this evening on Uber eats. Chicken satay, duck and chicken fried rice. The duck was awful unfortunately. Very dry. My husband didn’t eat it. We went for this takeaway due to its high ratings, but won’t be returning.

I have been using this as my local chinese for a decade and have tried many others in that time but none compare to Emporer! Great prices on food, cheap delivery and great service always recieve free prawncrackers/fortune cookies when I ask. Food is always hot, fresh and high quality. Recommend ordering through their website directly as it works out better for them and you!

The best Chinese takeout by far. The food has never disappointed, is always warm, generous in portion size and a taste above all other competition. We searched for a while for a decent Chinese and after much let down, we finally found Emperor and we have been regulars ever since! Always order for collection and the staff there are always friendly, quick & efficient! Emperor Chinese the GOAT!🔥🐐

Delicious food and excellent service. Food arrived when I was briefly out, driver hung food on door so the cats couldn't reach and then called back later in the evening to make sure I got the food OK. Brilliant.

£30 on dinner and the chicken and vegetables were sweeter than pudding. We had to throw it away. The were soaking in thick sugar syrup. Yuk!...Thai vegetables in sugar syrup?? Beef chowmein and duck ok though. But overall expensive pretentious food.

First time I've ordered from here, food came quickly and was really hot. Was really enjoying and it was tasty, until I found 2 hairs in my chow main so was put off and couldn't eat it.

Fantastic little takeaway. Had a ‘Munchbox’ for £12.40, which was filled to the brim and had a bit of everything. It was excellent value for money and even sharing there was still too much food! Some people may find the food a little greasy however everything was piping hot and fresh. I would thoroughly recommend. The business takes card too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Another good Chinese and quick delivery

Used to get delivery's from here regularly without a problem but in this case due to a rude driver (belive driving a red yaris) called me and asked me to come downstairs to collect my order, I don't live in a block of flats I live in a maisonette, which wouldn't of been a problem but with me and my wife being covid positive only a cpl of days ago we are not allowed out, I said this to the driver and his reply was "that aint my problem" when I rang the shop they didn't even apologise or anything just said so u want a refund then. Will never go here again. Just another case of a lazy rude delivery driver.

Disappointed - Ordered in advance for 19:50 through restaurant’s own site (a painful checkout process where delivery was added last minute) arrived after 25 mins (usually not a complaint!) but amazingly arrived cold and generally unappetising.

Love it, recently moved to Hall Green this is my favourite Chinese, which is a fair accolade given how many are in such close proximity, food is always to a high standard and have a wider range than some other take outs

Reasonable pricing, food consistently good (customer for almost 20 years). Staff friendly. Service quick in shop, acceptable for delivery Fri/Sat eve (usually within 30 mins although they often quote a little longer in busy times). Only reason not to give 5* is there isn't a "wow" item in the menu. Recommended.

Meal took an hour 20 to arrive. Asked the driver if food was hot, driver said it was. Food was luke warm at best.

Turned out to be pretty good, really enjoyed the curry and stir fry. Very generous portions and I'd say it's pretty good value. Delivery was incredibly quick for a Saturday night too.

Everything is nice apart from the spring rolls which taste like glue.

Friendly staff. Good service. Great menu. Prices a little over average but not excessively. On site parking.
