Shawarma Wala in Birmingham

Amazing service and very delicious food at shawarma wala. I recommend it to everyone, the food is very clean and fresh and the people who work there are well mannered and very friendly. Hezha served me and he done an amazing job I have no complaints.

Ive been here twice now and it honestly gets tastier and better everytime i eat from shawarma wala. The service is on point. The food is 1000/10 alhamdulillah i recommend and will go again in the future In Sha Allah. I have no complains honestly.

Staff are rude and dismissive. Manager didn't bother listen to my concern about missing items in my order. I'd say instead of spending money getting paid reviews and promotion take care of excisting custoners. Unfortunately I'm never going back as other places serve the same with much more respect to customers. This place used to be my family go to on Sundays.

Shawarma Wala, you’ve got my heart! Every visit is a flavor explosion, I honestly can’t get enough of the superior shawarma here. The meat is perfectly seasoned, tender, and grilled to perfection, but let’s not forget that incredible in-house made shawarma bread, soft, warm, and the perfect companion to the feast! The staff is super friendly, and you can tell they pour love into every dish they serve. The Mrs. and I were smiling from ear to ear, and let’s just say, the plates didn’t stand a chance. We wiped them clean! 😋 God bless you all for making such incredible food, and may you continue spreading shawarma joy for generations to come ❤️🙌

Tried this place for the first time and I must say the food was delicious the service was amazing.. will definitely be visiting again.

Food and service are both excellent. Considering how busy it was, the service was fast. There's not much seating space. Parking can be an issue, but can easily park at the Morrisons carpark and walk.

If I can share one piece of advice, it would be get here early. Especially if you wish to try the lamb shawarma. Twice I have visited and twice I was late, the lamb was sold out. The chicken shawarma is beautiful. It is succulent, juicy and tastes gorgeous. I would give this place 5 stars, but the lamb shawarma runs out quick, so for this they loose a mark. The fries were fresh, the salad was on point. I particularly enjoyed the pickled elements. Portion size is hearty, more than enough for one person. If you are light eaters, one portion can be shared amongst two as a good snack. Price per meal ranges but generally is sub £10, around £7 mark (without drink). This pace is busy, rightly so. as such please be prepared to wait whilst your food is freshly prepared. Staff are friendly, and helpful. I would return, and I would recommend.

This place definitely suffers from an overhype problem. While it might have garnered a reputation, the reality fell short of expectations. My main concerns centered around hygiene, which seemed questionable. Beyond that, the food itself was unbalanced. It felt like they compensated for a lack of meat by overloading the dish with oil and salad. The cramped shop space contributed to an uncomfortable and, frankly, toxic atmosphere. Overall, a disappointing experience with Food and service Not worth it better to go classic for doner meat and chips

Was always reluctant to go in this shop as didn’t want to Waite in the cue as it was always busy, but once I tried it, what could I say I have been back every time I have been around. The place is small nice and clean. Food is amazing nice and fresh. Prices are very reasonable

Shawarma Wala’s food is a solid 10/10 – the meats and fries are delicious! However, hygiene practices are concerning. Sometimes staff handle all cooked items meats, fries, bread with the same disposable gloves, hardly using tongs/ utensils. Even though the food is cooked, this risks cross-contamination from surfaces or other ingredients. For a place with such amazing food, basic safety like utensil use and fresh gloves should match the quality. Please fix this.

This has to be the tastiest shawarma I've tried in Birmingham I had the lamb shawarma wrap with mayonnaise, humus and chili and salad and it was very tasty and the prices were reasonable will definitely be back again insha'Allah

Incredibly popular place. Schwarma was a little too oily but still very nice. The service is super super efficient even though the queues seem long. Shame the store isn't bigger as I'd love to sit in and eat and the seats are always occupied whenever I visit. Highly recommended

Service was fast food quality was not that all. Less quantity and no quality. Got a shawarma mix which included about less than 20 chips in total. Chicken was really dried and they wasn't a lot a of meat too. Over priced!!!!

Staff were attentive and polite and went above and beyond to meet me and my family’s needs. The succulent smell of shawarma and crispy chips enticed my taste buds and when I tasted it, it was by far the best shawarma I have tried in Birmingham! Prices are reasonable and definitely very good value for what you pay. General cleanliness is good and there are a few tables to eat in however due to the high volume of traffic I'd recommend taking out. Customers waiting 'spill' into eating area.

The place was PACKED. After ordering the food, experiencing the service of guys and then finally tasting the food the busyness of the place made sense. Top service and the Lamb Shawarma sandwich meal was spot on. The bread was soft yet had a crispyness to it, the Shawarma was absolutely tasty, the sauces just brought the sandwich to another level as did the mix chicken & lamb shawarma sandwich. Not the biggest place, a tight squeeze a few tables indoors and a few outdoors BUT I wouldn't dwell on those little obstacles. The food and service makes up for everything. A MUST try.

Had a great experience at Shawarma Wala! We ordered the chicken shawarma wraps and the chicken platter. We also wanted to try the lamb shawarma, but unfortunately, it was already sold out – a testament to its popularity, I guess! The chicken shawarma was delicious, but the real star of the meal was the amazing naans – so soft and fresh, they really elevated the whole dish. The price and service were both fantastic, and the environment was comfortable and welcoming. The only minor downside was the sauces – while they were fine, they didn’t stand out and could be improved. That said, the overall experience was great, and I would highly recommend Shawarma Wala for anyone craving fresh, flavourful shawarma!

Nice Kurdish Shawarma. Place is clean and well maintained but super busy most of the time. Prices are economical. Lamb shawarma run out early I guess. Seating isn't enough for big families. The owner and the staff are very friendly. Free Kurdish tea. Overall good place for Shawarma and pizza!

The atmosphere is amazing as soon as you walk in. Even though the queues might be a bit long, they offer free tea to everyone to help you relax while you wait for your food. We were there this week, and we loved the Shawarma chicken and lamb are very tasty .the nan bread is fresh as well.

Ordered mixed sharwarma pizza at lunchtime. Shop was busy..so they are doing something good. Was told 20 min wait for the pizza ..no problem with that. Unfortunately the pizza base was undercooked and the top was overcooked. Dough was not fluffy soft or light..in fact it was tasteless and difficult to eat..

Nice tasty chicken Shawarma with nan bread

Just amazing- really fast service even though at times the place gets jam packed. I’ve recently visited and was able to catch my breath with a free Syrian cup of tea- so lovely. Ma sha Allah. I do get a bit anxious when it comes to having my wrap being made up_ they need to chill out with the rushing a bit- as I feel they need to slow down and tailor the topping to the customer’s taste rather than rushing to get the wrap wrapped up. Otherwise- 10/10 best shawarma in bham 🔥🫶🏼🫰🏼👌🏼👌🏼🙃
