English breakfast included two hash browns and plenty of toast with tea or coffee included in the price (50p extra for a hot chocolate) Table service and take credit or debit cards. Was well worth the visit on a Saturday morning on the way back from Banstead Woods parkrun

I am currently traveling in London and I came into this cafe to eat breakfast, the welcome was simply incredible with a feeling of being at home, as if it was my big brother or sister who was taking me served my dish, plus the food was simply delicious. If you pass by here, don’t hesitate!

Really good cafe large menu with lots of choice. Haven't been to this cafe before that was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and service. It had all the choices you would expect from a modern cafe. Very reasonable prices. We would definitely go again.

I’ve been in many cafes in my time but this one beats them all. Food comes out quickly and the food is second to none. There’s always a personal service with every customer that comes in. Absolutely excellent in my book. Definitely worth a visit.

When I entered, I had the impression that I was entering someone's house... everyone knows each other, is smiling and seems to be having a nice time (customers and staff). I joined them and for a moment I felt like I was at home. Thank you.

I have previously scored some 4*s but this is unfair and a mistake because they are simply superb, work exceptionally hard, have a massive menu range and are the friendliest of folk throughout. The bus depot drivers 100yds away are prepared to walk the distance to enjoy the food. It could easily be the depot canteen!

Extensive menu and great food cooked with quickly by a hard working Turkish family. They have v good friendly interaction with customers, many of which are bus drivers. I applaud them for the experience and always tip

Great food at a great price. Just round the corner from work and convenient to pop in for a quick bite to eat, always plenty of choice to try something different each time I visit. Never disappoints!

Just new in South Croydon and this café make me feel so welcome. Staff are really friendly and warm, got couple of hot chocolate on the house for my little ones with marshmallows, that make kids so happy. Food is delicious and really good portion. Ellys south Croydon is the best cafe in all London I have been to others but it just don’t beat ellys the meals they serve are freshly cooked to order and the portion sizing is very large it will fill you up with one bite I have been going here for many years now the quality and taste is still the same thank you guys 5 star all around ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thank you guys for the level of service and friendliness and taste fantastic .

It's been a number of years since I last came here and the food is as good as ever with generous portions. The decor has been updated as well which is nice. I will definitely be heading here again if I'm in the area.

Lovely cafe, staff are so welcoming and friendly. Food is on point, staff keep the cafe CLEAN!! one of the cleanest cafes in existence. Next time I am trying the curry as another customer had it and it smelt sooo good!! The atmosphere is chill even when it's really busy.

Proud to say this is my local because I've tried many cafes and this one is the best in any area I've been to hands down. My favorite dish is their Spanish omelette, no where beats it!

Good atmosphere tidy hygienenic, not too bad ground coffe (not intstant) friendly stuff. Ovbiously the owner is good salesman. Who drinks instant coffe are....... You know who they are.

Go with the reviews and the locals. Great food, great service, great coffee. We had a mixture of breakfasts, full English, sausage and egg roll and eggs on toast. Caramal milkshake was excellent and so was the bargain £1 coffee ( I had 3)

Ellie's Cafe has become my new favourite spot! You can sit inside, or outside under shelter and watch the world go by! The food was delicious, but what was even better are the people. They made me feel so welcome from the moment I walked in, with their big smiles and friendly faces, and they made sure I was well looked after! I definitely recommended Ellie's Cafe!
