What a special treat! Had pre dinner drinks in the bar with a really nice outdoor patio. Lovely view too. The meal was delicious (all of it) and the service and environment made it extra special, thank you!

Elements restaurant at the Aldwark Manor hotel. The starters cold duck breast and French onion soup were delicious and the presentation was fantastic. For mains we had the Barnsley chop and Beef cheek bourguignon, the meats were cooked perfectly and so soft, tender and flavourful. It would have been better if they had abit more veg as only a couple of pieces. Great restaurants location and they retracted the roof as it was a lovely day, which was so nice to look out at the gardens.

Enjoyed an excellent meal at Elements. The restaurant has been beautifully styled, with funky prints, a glitzy central bar & elegant, leather booth seating. Additionally, it has an open terrace overlooking the grounds, which was a fabulous place to be on a sunny evening. Staff were all super friendly, really attentive & very professional. And food was also superb.

We ar Te here because we were staying in the manor. Two sirloin - two apple crumbles and two gins. My sirloin was only ok and when paying £28 - I expect a little more than ok. Apple crumbles were served with a sorbet and fresh custard. An absolute delight. Delicious and lots of it. Ordered local gins and they were nice served with fever tree. The bill was £99.00. I thought this was overpriced, given that I have served better steak and I am not a chef. The restaurant itself is lovely and we ate here for breakfast - that was ok. Sausages not really to my taste - but beans served in a separate little cup. Unlimited toast, drinks, cereal, fruit - which was part of our booking.

Visited as a couple 7 March. We were staying in the hotel. Ambience was good. The eating area could perhaps do with a bit of updating but it is fine. Menu is a mix of pub classics and more adventurous dishes. I had one of the latter as a starter, Lamb Tagine Roll with harissa mayo and smoked aubergine purée. Very good. The roll had chunks of lamb and the mayo had a kick. Tasted and presented very well. I had steak and ale pie for main. Appeared home made with real chips. Again very good Mrs W had the pork belly which she enjoyed too. We had a very nice bottle of NZ Sav Blanc as well. Very good value.

We were staying at Hunton on holiday and wanted a local cafe so that we didn’t have to drive too far, ‘The Nest’ did not disappoint. What an incredible location, really friendly staff and gorgeous scones. Given that my Mum made thousands of them when we had a restaurant (and hers were always delicious), she gave 10/10 for the cherry one and I’d give the same rating for my yummy cheese one. If you like scones, stunning views and cute animals, this is the place for you!

Just had an Indian delivered to our lodge from here and it’s one of the best Indian meals we’ve ever had, amazing, hot, generous portions *****

Good to still have an actual shop to shop in. Although, they had wrong prices on shoes. They actually cost more than the ticket price. As previously said, nice shop to visit.

Cosy and friendly little cafe attached to the Millbry Hill shop but with its own entrance looking out over the bridge and the River Leven in Stokesley. Would definitely recommend the cheese scones.
