When you stop in a place for coffee, the coffee had better be good. The coffee was good. The owner--and I assume that's Elaine--was very pleasant. I had a slice of the lemon drizzle cake, and not because it was gluten-free though it's good to note the bakery has gluten-free offerings. The cake was flavorful, but dry. Maybe that's because it's gluten-free? I honestly don't know but I wouldn't order it again. There were other bakery offerings I might sample because all of the goods seem to be homemade and that's just worth trying. It's a small place, and was warm and inviting on a chilly, wet December day.
