Lovely food and attentive staff! An early sitting, everything was fresh and very tasty. Would recommend to couples and groups.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight. The food was outstanding, so was the staff and ambiance of the restaurant, well done! We live local and have struggled to find a good Indian restaurant for some time now, so lucky to now have you on our doorstep.

Me and my partner visited the elaichi this evening for a traditional Indian meal and the standards were very much met !! The staff were excellent very welcoming and the food was delicious will definitely be making a return visit!!

It was our 10th wedding anniversary and we’re both very busy at work, Being a week night and shattered we wanted to celebrate but be close by to walk to and walk back home. Walked into frimley town and walked in and no prior booking, service was great, mo was our host and lovely, he recommended stuff and went out of his way to recommend stuff after our original waiter had take our order and suggested stuff that was brilliant and given to us free of charge to try and learn. We have now found our new fav curry place and given this area it’s shocking for good places to eat! We were very happy! Had a lovely meal and will be back for my birthday in December! Comimos una comida aquí hace un año, y la comida era adorable. Oído de algunas personas ya que no es genial, pero siempre me gusta probar de nuevo ya que no soy siempre desanime lo que otros dicen si he tenido una buena comida allí. Por desgracia, ojalá me hubiera escuchado a todo el mundo. Una semana para llevar a mediados ordenados ya que mi marido y yo estábamos a casa tarde del trabajo. Nos dijeron que sería entregado en menos de una hora. Una hora y 15 minutos más tarde de nuestra cara, comida insulsa llegamos. El cordero pasanda y pollo madras estaban sin sabor y el pato tikka era blanch un extremadamente seco (sé tikka es seco, de todos modos, pero este pegados a su paladar). No comer allí, lo cual es una pena porque su nuestro local india.

Visitamos como grupo familiar (6 adultos y 3 niños pequeños) y nos sentimos muy bien acogidos, incluso el personal hizo todo lo posible para mover una mesa, así que cabía en el cochecito para nuestro más pequeño (4 meses).La comida era maravillosa y tenían una gran selección, realmente disfrutamos de la bengala Pollo Korma y lo recomiendo encarecidamente.Estaríamos encantados de visitar de nuevo la próxima vez que estemos en la zona.

Hemos estado comiendo aquí por más de 5 años cada par de meses. . El personal es amable y cordial, no se de prisa y se encargan de las peticiones especiales (nuestra hija tiene una alergia, así que este es coco el único restaurante le trust). Te recomiendo totalmente. . La comida es de excelente calidad y un servicio amable, te hacen sentir bienvenido si su sólo dos de nosotros o cuando toda nuestra familia de 10 - 15 personas llega, así que no puedo recomendar lo suficiente.

Tenía un encantador almuerzo aquí, éramos un grupo de 15 comensales, pero nos sirven rapido y amablemente. La calidad de la comida es muy alta, vajilla y cubertería encantador y limpio como es agradable, cómodo y moderno mobiliario sillas de respaldo. No había ningún tipo de queja de nuestro grupo acerca de la comida, todos disfrutamos de nuestras comidas y no teníamos prisa para salir. No hay cobro de servicio a la factura, a pesar de ser un grupo grande.

No se molesten en ir de nuevo, tirado gasolina, no disculpa.

We have been using this restaurant once every few months for a couple of years now. The place is spotless, the food is reliably good and the prices are reasonable.

Elaichi has nice food at a reasonable price. Just don't EVER use the car park behind the restaurant. They are notorious cowboys that will fine you £60 for nothing and harass you with ever increasing demands. Just google 'Civil Enforcement Ltd'. My whole party got fined and it has put me off ever eating in Frimley again. The businesses on the parade really need to do something about this.

Fancied a curry and decided to try somewhere new and ended up at Elaichi, for their eat as much as you like, the food was Fab & great value for money, definitely worth a visit.

Tandoori Prawn starter was pleasant. We're not big eaters, but it was on the small side. Main Lamb Rogan was okay, seemed a bit mushed. Lamb tikka main was nice and sizzling with onions. Naan breads are good. Service was very friendly, however, we were getting empty plates taken away during one of us still eating. Overall, okay, but probably a one off visit.

Never seems to be busy when we drive past. Thought we would give the Sunday All you can eat a try. This place is a little gem. Food and service is very good. They just keep asking if you want more.

We aren't local but were staying in a nearby hotel. We came here based on trip adviser reviews but were really worried when no one else was in the restaurant at 8:45 on a Saturday night. We though we'd made a big mistake. However, the food was really good! It was lovely & fresh & not oily. Chicken shashlik particularly good. Aside from a slight awkward atmosphere as waiters outnumbered customers, we were pleasantly surprised.

Been to this restaurant a couple of times now and the food is always excellent and the staff very helpful. The food is not as greasy as some Indian restaurants, the owner, Sid, is really welcoming and not overbearing, plus full of good advice on choices. Highly recommend.

Somehow this restaurant did not seem to work as well for us last week. The waiter seemed really very odd, no smiles or any particular reaction to greet us or when delivering food. The food was fine (the Chicken Shashlik is particularly good!) but somehow the atmosphere was lacking and the wines have changed since our last visit (and were not as good) although, when asked, the staff seemed to be completely unaware of this. It is worth noting that the actual wines are now not noted on the wine list ... just 'Merlot from Chile' for example.

Went out for a meal here Thursday 2nd June. Firstly I must say I've eaten in a lot of Indian restaurants in the uk and this one comes top of my list for great food and great service from the staff especially from Baz . So for all you Indian food lovers, this restaurant in Frimley comes top of the list for excellences.

This is a local restaurant that up to 6 months ago I had never tried however a local radio station offered discount vouchers so I bough them and tried it. We have never gone anywhere since.

We love going here with friends. The staff are fabulous,always willing to offer advice on the menu, attentive yet not in your face constantly asking for more drinks or up selling when taking your order.

I suffer with food allergies and it is always a mission to find places that are willing to help etc. Eilachi was suggested by a friend and they were so accomodating and helpful with advising what I could eat from their menu. I visited Elaichi with my wife on an early Wednesday evening. We were welcomed when we entered the restaurant and escorted to our table by the waiter (Sid). We got some drinks and looked through the choices on the menu. We ordered Starters followed by lamb madras, Roshani Chicken, Keena Naan, Mushroom rice, Sag Pannir. Food arrived piping hot and was enjoyable.

Had other takeaways in the area before but fancied a change so tried this one out and was not disappointed . Ordered online (do worry some times working away with new resturants) but was total satisfied with the time taken and the food when it arrived . Will be ordering again when in the area thank you elaichi .

My bf and I decided to give this local restaurant another go but I wish we hadn't. The service is not overly friendly. we were given a table right in the middle at the front as were told that was all they had to offer us. that was not the case as about 3 other tables remained empty during the evening. the barman has very poor English and couldn't understand when I said 2 gin and tonics. I had to say it THREE TIMES before he eventually understood me! We felt rushed to place our food order - must have been been asked 3 times in the first 10 minutes. When we were ready, we then felt ignored and had to ask to order. The food was good quality but the prawn puree was bland. we shared a mushroom rice (tiny and only really enough for one person), aubergine bargi (nice) and ordered one curry each. the chicken massala was tasty and the other curry was ok but nothing special. We shared a bottle of wine and a pistachio kulfe although this tasted like vanilla icecream with a few ground nuts on top. All in all VERY expensive. When we got the bill, we realised that we had been served double measures of gin and charged nearly £14 for the privilege PLUS £3.50 for two tiny bottles of tonic which equates to nearly £17.50 for two drinks!!! the whole bill came to over £70. We found this exceptionally expensive (more pricey than in central London!), extremely mediocre and will not be back again. Taking my parents out this evening and will be taking them to a local Thai house that we favour - there are loads of excellent restaurants in this area so the Elaichi had better up their game and down their prices!

Good tasty curry ,reasonable prices ,good service very friendly ,they deliver which is always good for those nights you can't be bothered

Being local to Frimley we use these guys on a regular basis not only for take away but our choice for a local Indian restaurant. My recent visit was with friends for a birthday and luckily enough it was on a Thursday, and Thursday and Sunday they run 2 for 1 price night which is great for a mid week treat. They are also on the the list for Tastecards too.

We have visited many times and all our meals have been excellent. The service is second to none and the staff are very friendly. They also have a very good online takeaway ordering system for delivery to your home. They are happy to adapt any of their dishes to your liking. My personal favourite is Chicken Tikka Jhal which is spiced perfectly for me. Highly recommended.

Awesome curry! Friendly staff, great menu, probably best curry of my life, no fat or oil in the sauce! With every mouthful I did not want the meal to end! I would highly recommend this restaurant to any curry lover! A+++++++++

We were very late, not arriving at this restaurant until well after 9pm. They made us very welcome, the service was excellent and the food was great, particularly the chicken shashlik! This restaurant is very well presented and the wine is reasonable too.

This has to be the most blandest curry I have ever tasted.

The friendly efficient service from Sid and his boys never fails. I was surprised by how great my first curry here was, they have never failed to deliver many, many visits later.

I ordered this as a takeaway because I was staying in a nearby hotel. I thought given the fact that it was a Friday night the food would take ages to arrive, but I was wrong! It came in just over half an hour, the food was hot and tasted absolutely gorgeous! Best meal I've had in ages, just wish they had a restaurant in Sheffield! Top marks!

Have eaten here a couple of times and the service has been attentive. They are flexible if you wish to alter the dish a little. Find the ambience a little too bright! Staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome.

This was our second visit to Elaichi. Returning home late after a lecture at Surrey University, we needed a reliable, inexpensive restaurant close to our route.

You can smell the coriander and hear the hot, sizzling iron plates as you enter Elaichi's double doors. The toasty heated floor radiating heat through our feet was very welcoming on a cold evening.

Visited here with 7 others on 2nd May '15 and had a very good evening. Service was absolutely spot on - a couple of the party ordered things not on the menu and nothing was too much trouble. Food came out fast and hot and everyone agreed it tasted delicious. I had the chicken pasanda and it was gorgeous! The only negative thing I would say is that it was edging towards expensive - £1.50 for a chutney plate to have with your poppadoms and £9.95 for my main (no rice or naan) is just edging into the next price level for me. Would definitely recommend the food though!

I had both lunch and dinner at Elaichi. The food was excellent and I had a really good conversation with the staff about spices and chilli's. I highly recommend them.

We visited here a few weeks back as part of our monthly curry club and I have to say it was delicious, food was hot, tasty and fresh. Staff were very efficient, friendly and offered a great service and recommendations! We lived it so much we ordered a delivery last weekend and it didn't disappoint!

We really enjoy the dishes here. They are fresh and bursting with flavours. They are not the typical English style curry which are sometimes thick with ghee. The owner is always on hand to describe the dishes and spices used. They will adapt dishes to suit your taste. We quite often order deliveries that always arrive on time and hot.

The food quality is excellent , the menu extensive let down by indifferent service, Elaichi could be a great restaurant with some attention to the customer service, you want to see happy people with a smile. .

We have been here a number of times and always had good food and friendly staff. However, on this occasion we were extremely disappointed. The waiter was very dismissive and when we tried to ask for more drinks he ignored us so we had to call him back!! I ordered a Bhuna Salmon for my main course but it was some sort of white fish. I had to stress to various staff that it wasn't salmon much to their insistence that it was. Finally, they took a sample of my fish to the kitchen for the chef to clarify what fish I was actually eating. The waiter never returned & instead they gave us a discount on our bill. I was quite happy to pay full price for the meal if they could clarify the fish. Even now, I don't know what I ate that night!! Such a shame as we will not be returning afterthought experience!!

I've given this place five stars only because I couldn't give it higher! Always a pleasant meal in a family friendly atmosphere. If you want to chat then the waiting staff will chat. If you want to be left alone, they leave alone. Very attentive to detail and to what is going on at the table. I like that! As a person with a mild intolerance to a certain food they have pandered to my funny little foibles and I have always had a good experience here.

We are regulars at Sids and always love the food and the warm welcome , yet to find a better curry house locally. The Charlie special should be tried , because it's named after a genius :D

Recently visited with a business colleague on a Monday evening. The restaurant has a very modern feel with coloured lighting and an electronic 'fish tank' so forget your preconceptions of a typical Indian restaurant. There is plenty of space around the tables so you don't feel crammed in. the menu offers a mixture of the traditional and some different dishes. When the food arrived it was well presented and the portion sizes were just the right size for two hungry guys but not over large. The food was delicious with a good level of spicing that didn't destroy the other flavours. The garlic and coriander Naan was particularly good. I look forward to a return visit.

It's not often I give 5 stars but this was a lovely restaurant and the food was really tasty. The naan bread was probably one of the best we've had. It tasted freshly made. The spices in the meals were perfect and the service was great. We'll definitely come here again when we're in the area.

I must say that the meal was great fresh as it can get. Quite a small restaurant on a fairly busy Saturday night. Tables are small, making it difficult to have all the dishes well arranged for sharing. Took a while to place our order as waiters were busy with other tables. A large range on the menu, with quite a number of duck and seafood dishes, which is unusual for an Asian restaurant. We tried duck (tikka or shaslick) but we wouldn't have known it was duck. The aloo gobi came without the cauliflower, but was replaced when pointed out. Portions are rather small for the price compared to other restaurants we frequent.

This was our second visit to Elaichi and we enjoyed it just as much as we did on our first visit. It was a very busy Saturday evening, but we didn't have to wait long to be served. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Wine is not over-priced as it is in most restaurants, which was a bonus. The menu is slightly different from many Indian restaurants and they have a good selection of fish and duck dishes. I think this may be a family favourite now!

Went here after golf at Pineridge as two parties travelling in opposite directions and this was local to the golf club.

Went here for a dinner when they were doing buy one get one free. This only applies to mains but it will a pretty good deal. The food was tasty and well made, restaurant clean and well presented. The staff were efficient and friendly and were keen to show off their hottest chillies when I announced my interest in hot food, they were great and made for an enjoyable (and spicy!) evening. Might be a bit pricey without the deal but we'll worth a visit.

Looking back on it I have averaged 2 visits per week to Elaichi in the last year. So after 100 visits what do I think...

First time visiting this curry house with seven family members. Menu not as huge as some other indian restaurants in the area, but what we had was lovely. Perhaps the menu could say mild, medium or hot against each entry as we had no idea. Only minus point was when we had finished our meals, our glasses were taken away and we were not asked if we wanted anything else, dessert or coffee, which I thought was a bit odd. Apart from that we enjoyed the food.

I have to fess up that I am no aficiando of this genre of food generally preferring anything else and, at my previous house, only visiting the local Indian restaurant (all of forty yards away) about once every four - six months. However I've been to Elaichi five times in four months and going again tomorrow as we both enjoy the food and the friendliness here. The dishes we have tried seem to have a slight twist of flavour to the run-of-the-mill versions and the hot dishes (Jhal, from memory) are agreeably spicy not head-boiling, ear-steaming or tongue-searing. Sid, the manager, is a gent and the service has always been unobtrusive and efficient. As said, I'm no expert on curries etc, but I'm really enjoying going here regularly and would definitely recommend a visit

I was very impressed with Elaichi when I visited for the first time in Feb-14 (bar the parking ticket I got from the private parking crooks over the back), so I thought I'd try the takeaway the following month...and pretty much every month until now. It's delicious, never takes too long to arrive at my door. I highly recommend their work.

Decided to take the family out Defoe a curry and thought would try somewhere no been before. Booked a table for 7.30pm. The restaurant was small but clean with neon lighting. Food was great, came on time and plenty if it. Service was good and generally had a pleasant evening. Not the best curry house in the area but would return and sure of busier would have had a better atmosphere.

Used this place for the first time as well reviewed on tripadvisor. The meat samosas were very good as was the meat biryani but the reshmie kebab was the smallest portion I have ever seen. However the aloo papad chat was so sweet!! and no papad. Why is Indian food getting so sweet. Also no info when we ordered as to delivery time
