El Pincho in County Durham

Vinimos aquí el 3 de noviembre como sorpresa para mis tías de 70 años. Éramos 13. Tuvimos un gran tiempo. La comida era preciosa me tomé la mini hamburguesa italiana. No tenía nada de mini, era bastante grande. Los cócteles eran preciosos también me encantó la pinacolara. Nuestro servidor era Liam y él era tan amable y trabajador. Él es un crédito para este restaurante.

Me encanta visitar aquí, siempre un gran servicio y una comida preciosa. Muy recomendable tanto para comida como para bebida, gran ambiente. Un gran saludo a Jane que hizo un esfuerzo extra por nosotros durante nuestra última visita.

Dinero escocés no aceptado, aparentemente £ 20 La moneda escocesa es demasiado arriesgada para aceptar, el personal del gerente / bar en realidad me preguntó si tomaría el riesgo de aceptar un billete escocés de £ 20, las palabras me fallan

Ayer tuvimos el mejor día de la historia celebrando el cumpleaños de mi hijo en la calle 21. Decidió que quería un buffet y el buffet que le proporcionó El Pincho era excepcional. Todo el personal era maravilloso y realmente nos cuidó. Gracias por hacer que sea un día realmente memorable x

Tomamos el té de la tarde, la comida era deliciosa, un servicio fantástico todo el personal era encantador y servicial. La chef salió a ver si estábamos contentos y disfrutando, ella era tan agradable y servicial que hace un té de la tarde agrietado con muchos gustos diferentes. Muy recomendable

Brought are friends here on sat 7th Sept from Nottingham We went for a bottomless brunch The service was first class Food was amazing Our friends had a chicken burger and a chill burger and both said , it's the best burgers there had This pub is the best in durham Bar staff are excellent and the service is first class Just want to mention jane , who is the chef , your food was outstanding what you cooked for the 4 of us Music is excellent when the dj starts at 3pm

Probably if not the best afternoon tea I have had. There was a massive amount of food, very well presented and the taste was exceptional. Staff were lovely and smiley and made sure everything was perfection. I would recommend this place 100% for afternoon tea. Pricing was perfect and I will be going back. Keep up the good work and well done. Outstanding!!!!!!

My hubby and I recently had a tapas lunch at El Pincho on a trip to durham. Staff where lovely but rushed off their feet. Aperol spritz was lovely and hubby enjoyed his guinness. Food was lovely especially the belly pork and the chicken loaded fries. The squid was delicious too. We had the king prawn and chorizo which was really disappointing and a little cold. Overall a lovely lunch and we'll definitely be back.

Incredibly friendly, serving delicious tapas - very generous portions. The chef, Jane, cooked every dish to perfection. Thank you. X

The service wasn’t up to scratch twice we sat with empty glasses and had to go to the bar, we also had to ask where our food was which took over a hour, some waitresses worked there arses off where a few younger ones did hardly nothing and would rather talk to the DJ we also witnessed one of them talking to another waitress like dirt, the atmosphere and the music was great just little things let it down

Excellent food at this nice lively and atmospheric restaurant in beautiful Durham. There were 5 friends for lunch and we went for the tapas. Absolutely delicious. I had the Moroccan lamb and sticky belly pork. Also some sweet potato fries. Everything was beautifully cooked. Couldn’t fault it.

Impromptu visit to Durham from Northumberland after a long week at work on a Friday evening. We stepped in due to the live music and had a great evening. Thanks! Cocktails are weak and are from a cheap ass mix bag, though. Had to buy a spirit to top it up.

Lunchtime Offer 4 Tapas dishes and 2 drinks for £30 is tremendous value Meals were excellent and a generous portion. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend a visit.

Nice setting but the 2 girls serving at the bar were absolutely terrible. No attempt at customer service , looked like they were arguing with each other and that the customer was merely an inconvenience to their own priorities

Went for a Birthday treat after reading the previous reviews and must say we weren't disappointed. Tried a selection of Tapas dishes which were delicious. We accompanied the food with a bottle of Pinot Grigio wine which was lovely and joined in with the party atmosphere with a couple of cheeky cocktails. All in all we were looked after by friendly staff, ate great food and drink and enjoyed the fun party atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

After previously only having drinks here (what an atmosphere by the way) we decided to come on Mother’s Day afternoon to sample the food as we’ve heard great things. From walking through the doors till leaving the attentiveness from the staff is impeccable. We were quickly seated, drinks order taken and promptly brought to us. The food was absolutely beautiful. I’m actually mad at myself for not eating here before now. Can’t recommend this place enough! Can’t wait to try their bottomless brunch. The decor as absolutely beautiful. What a gem of a place

We gave this a try on Thursday gone and werent dissappointed. Beautiful restarant in a beautiful setting on the river at Durham. We found it very easy to find after getting off the bus from Belmont. The service and the food was superb. We opted for the tapas and each one was delicious. In the words of Arnie we will be back. Stongly recommend this place you wont regret im sure.

Bar staff were excellent and very welcoming.drinks a little pricy but an enjoyable night even though a noisy quiz taking place

Fabulous service, delicious food, good atmosphere. There was a singer with a guitar followed by a quiz when we were in which really added to our evening.

Fabulous food. Friendly helpful staff. Took advantage of 25% discount on food and drink at the moment. Been in when its quiet and when its bouncing. Great experience either way.

Well through the experience I’ve had I can openly say this place is outstanding, Food is a 10 along with the staff that were taking orders and serving they were so polite, greeted at the door by the lovely owners, possibly the cleanest toilets I’ve ever seen thanks for the experience. What a piece of work the owner is, on asking for drinks politely she looked us up and down as if we were dirt on her shoes! She has quite the reputation when you read back on other reviews! We sat down and then heard her slating other customers she was absolutely horrid about one lady! We couldn’t wait to leave never will we be back, go to the curious mr fox they will show you how customer service is done! Avoid avoid avoid!

Ordered our first drinks and was told that if we were almost done we could order our next. I had an inch of corona and was told by a very rude member of staff that I had half a drink left and couldn’t order another: was then told those were the rules, we could stay or leave. Didn’t feel like I could tell my party to leave so we stayed. Spoiled my day the way we were spoke to. Really felt like leaving after the manner of the member of staff who had “150 people to deal with” I counted 22 including us at that time. Know the staff member would say I had half a drink left but that isn’t accurate. Really ruined my day. To the point that I was in tears. And the two hours for the table is for the table not drinks, it’s 1hr 45. Shame because it was okay, Liam our server was fabulous but I won’t be back. I don’t come out to be made to feel like crap by a member of staff.

We had been to this restaurant two years ago and it was fine. However, this time the experience was bad. We were celebrating a family birthday and it was spoiled. The drinks took a long time to come (the restaurant wasn't busy at that point). When the meals arrived I was shocked to see that my fried chicken was burned to a crisp - not gold brown as it should be. As a result it was basically inedible, rock hard and the meat dry. I pointed it out to the waiter and he said that he would tell chef, but no offer was made to take it back to the kitchen. My husband said it should never have left the kitchen. On top of that the music was literally deafening and I have hearing loss so it was very uncomfortable for the others in our party. The two young men who served us were pleasant but when we went to pay I showed the cashier my food (I took a photo) she very grudgingly lowered my bill. Won't be returning.

We visited this bar in Durham on a Friday when there was live music - the food and drink was great, the music was great and everyone e was pleasant and helpful -

Love this place fab music, food is beautiful, staff are lovely. always go for drinks here when I am in Durham atmosphere is fab only downside is bar queues but that’s to be expected when it’s busy.

My friend was dragged out of the bar by both arms for trying to use the disabled toilet - she has an issue with her bladder (I don’t know the ins and outs as it’s personal) however yeah, she was dragged out by a male who wasn’t door staff, and when I asked him what had happened and if he would provide his name, he swore at me and told me to f**k off outside. So yeah, I’d NEVER return. Shame cause it’s a nice place but it’s ran by a horrible man.

We arrived and only us in !! Staff sitting around waiting for customers. We were given menus Hubby ordered 2 beers 3 warm Pincho's for £10. Steak and 2 types of KIng Prawns and Canarian Potatoes Tapas Food was amazing The chef came and asked us if food was ok We couldn't fault it one bit By the time we were half way through eating the place filled up £40.10p was a very reasonable price We will return Well done to all the team
