Aunque no gemimos. . . . . Acabamos de intercambiar bebidas! !

No voy a volver

Average. Not as busy as other city centre places but it still takes a while to get served. Friendly staff. The cake I had looked a lot nicer than it tasted - very artificial tasting.

I visit on average twice a week and the service is second to none. Very clean cafe and the staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Although not waitress / waiter service, if the staff aren’t busy they will ask you to take a seat and they will bring your drinks to you. Try exercising your taste buds and have chocolate powder and cinnamon sprinkled onto your cappacino. There is easy access for wheelchairs and pushchairs by using the lift. Why not pay Eighty Two a visit when next in the city centre.

The cafe was nearly empty, which suited us! We were served by a very pleasant young lady, who couldn't do enough for us. The drinks and pastries were very good too.

1. I know it takes a while to make a decent cup of coffee but on my visit I was second in the queue & the wait was interminable. 2. We had to ask to have the table cleared. 3, There was no toilet paper in the toilets. When I complained I was told they weren't their toilets, they were next's. Obviously, this coffee shop doesn't do customer satisfaction. Local management needs a good shake-up.

Went to lunch about 1.15pm not a lot of choice in sandwiches/baguettes so went for the soup Tomato & basil soup ok but bread rolls had been overcooked in microwave and unable even to cut asked for a replacement which took about 5 minutes but that was also over cooked. Asked to speak to manager but apparently no manager. Wont be returning

We were heading back to the car park when we remembered Eighty Two cafe on the top floor of Next. It was virtually empty and we had very good service from the young man and a very good coffee. The place was tidy and the tables cleaned - just a shame the floor let it down.

A nice quiet escape from the chaos of the shopping mall. Coffee is always good with a selection of cakes to accompany. They don't always have the full food menu in stock but what they do serve is always of a good standard at a reasonable price too. Regularly visit here when I am in shopping.

As the legs start to tire...head away from the maddening crowds and find this little hidden gem upstairs in Next Really excellent service and a great choice of fresh danish and cakes. The staff will heat up the croissant so the butter will melt into your tasty danish Nice amount of seating and a stool seating bar area Well worth steering your Need A Brew radar for this place

Eighty Two coffee never fails to please - good coffee in a stylish, relaxed environment. My favourite is their mochas which are wonderful! Staff are always extremely friendly.

Coffee was great, couldn't fault it, stylish decor and fab staff. A delight to sit in comfort rather than the mess of Costa and Starbucks. A real hidden gem.

It was by chance that I discovered this delightful café, and now I will sing its praises. It should not hide its light under a bushel! Helpful staff, good coffee (and, by all accounts, other drink and food), very comfortable surroundings and a nice clean toilet contributed to a pleasant and relaxing afternoon break.

I am now proud to say I am a regular at this delightful little coffee shop inside Next, Drakes Circus. Every time I go I am greeted with a smile, and nothing is too much. I often request to have a weaker coffee than they normally offer, and the staff always carry out this request without a problem. They also offer great ideas for which cake to try next! My favorite has to be the Bake-well Tart! I see how the staff interact with families and I must say I'm very impressed with how accommodating they are! I am yet to try their baguettes however the jacket potatoes and soup options are always piping hot and delicious! Very nice quiet little place!

We have frequently visited this cafe for a morning coffee and cake on a Saturday but find that more than half of the time there are no fresh pastries available. The stands for them are there waiting but they are empty. When queried with the staff we are told that they are not ready yet. This we fail to understand. The cafe opens at 9am, we get there after 10am, the place is quiet at that time as custom has not yet peaked so the pastries have not sold out they have just not been baked on time. Why? If you know you open at 9am why are all your foodstuffs not ready at that time? An occasional problem resulting in pastries not being ready an hour after opening can be forgiven but week after week is inexcusable. The problem is that these pastries are delicious which has, so far, kept us going back more in hope than expectation that there will be some ready when we get there. Sadly I think we will have to move on.

The intention was for a quick coffee prior to shopping. In fact it took ages to be served at the counter because there was only one young lad taking the orders and dispensing the coffee although it was far too busy for one person to cope adequately. Eventually the coffee was reasonably good. Access for disabled is just about possible but not at all easy so the overall experience was blighted by both slow service and awkward access.

Visited this cafe for a rest with my daughter after doing some Christmas shopping and was pleasantly surprised as I didn't realise this place was there. Good selection of food and the service that went with it was outstanding. The young man with the northern accent who served me greeted me in a chirpy manner and was very friendly. Gave some recommendations on what to have also. Served me quickly and efficiently and stood out above others due to this customer service. Would visit again!

After visiting the cafe for the 2nd time I found on both occasions that staff were very 'slap happy' with no customer service skills by the majority of the staff . (Not all staff i must add. ) Mainly on my most recent visit I found I was asked for my order 3 times (and then felt like I wasn't being listened to) for the server to then to walk away with no explanation. A colleague of his did take over very prompt but again had to repeat my order. The food itself was fabulous with no complaints there, nor are there any complaints about the seating/dining area. My only complaint is the lack of customer service skills.

Next and possibly a franchisee have pumped cash into a modern well equipped cafe situated on the upper floor of the Next shop in the Drake Circus precinct. It's all there but it lacks personality character and a welcoming service. There's no buzz or lively feel to it. They need to pull out the proverbial and bring it to life.

This is very close to work so have been 4 times in the last 3 weeks. Food to be toasted, ciabattas, sandwiches etc are in the chiller - they get warmed up and put back on the chilled plates so by the time you get it, they are cold. Had a jacket potato yesterday on a freezing plate. No tea plates, they were using espresso coffee saucers as plates. Staff need training, manageress trying to do far to much and barking orders. No process for ordering food, it gets brought out and the staff guess whose it is.. If you are talking you can miss your food. Could be really nice with some improvement.

I always pop into this coffee on my lunch break from work. It is always clean, tidy and has a pleasant atmosphere. I am always greeted with a smile and great, friendly customer service. The coffee brew is well balanced and they sell a good selection of singe origin coffee beans to buy. Great selection of teas, cakes and pastries with Gluten Free snack options available. Varied seating available, from cafe tables & chairs, sofas, for the more relaxed dinning experience to a seated bar option for a quick coffee.

Excellent friendly polite staff, myself and some friends stumbled across this beautifull cafe puerly by luck, i am a fussy eater and requested for certain ingrediants to be left out of my order, the staff could not have been more helpfull and even offered a substitute ingrediant as a replacement, my friend has a 3 year old and she loved packing her own lunch bag from the large kids section they have and it was really good value for money 5 items for £3.50 they offered anything from sandwiches to yoghurts they even have a colouring station to keep the little ones occupied, if i had to give constructive criticism it would be i would like to see a wider range of hot food

Pleasant enough. Bit less tidy than the Favebook page suggests but pleasant staff, coffee brew is OK. They have and sell some novelty single person White teapots with a built in shelf so that you can pull the bag up onto the ledge rather than let it stew or flow around on the table or saucer. Slight overkill on the squirty cream toppings to the milkshake. On our visit there was a big cancer charity promotion. Place is OK, probably more amenable than the big coffee chains but on balanc not quite as good as some of the new independents. Useful pit stop if you are in Next and need a break. No carry outs yet. Listing needs photos.

I have had donuts, coffee etc from this little food hall, great friendly staff and loads of choice. I had an egg and bacon bap this morn which I enjoyed but could with the egg being runny and whites of egg not burnt and bacon slightly more cooked but still enjoyed it. From the looks of the egg white the pan needs cleaning more. Still enjoyed though, but egg should b runny

I have been here a few times with my partner or with friends. The atmosphere is always good and I like that they have a selection of board games you can play. The beers are always good. And I recommend the burgers which they don’t stint on the portions.
