I was recommended to visit an Eggslut next time I was in London by a friend, so on my most recent visit I did just that. Eggslut Fitzrovia was conveniently located to meet up with my friend. The store is clean and modern. Staff were very friendly, we ordered straight away and took some seats upstairs. Staff will bring your food to you. We ordered the sausage, egg and cheese and smoked salmon sandwiches with some fresh orange juice. I love a McDonald's sausage and egg mcmuffin so my choice was to undertake a comparison. The sandwich is a beast in size, very filling. It tasted very nice, first bite and the egg yoke ran everywhere (grab several napkins). Food was delivered quickly. Overall we were very full afterwards. I would have loved to try some of their sides but we had a big lunch planned and didn't want to spoil that. Price wise it's what I expected for a central London establishment so do not go expecting a cheap breakfast. It's not going to replace my Mcmuffin (as a more regular breakfast option when travelling) but I'll definitely be going again on another trip to London.

Firstly yes it's expensive! However, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a smile as we walked through the door and the food was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing, with top quality ingredients and great presentation. We would definitely return

I’d heard about Eggslut on YouTube; I do have eggs regularly for breakfast and wanted to see if they measured up. I had a friendly welcome when I arrived. After submitting my order on the app I was soon treated to a delicious breakfast. The dish in the pic had beautifully cooked eggs and delicious potato. The bread was perfectly toasted and paired well.

I absolutely loved the place and the food! First meal is half price on the app which is great because it is expensive, however, in London I expect that. How else do they pay the rent?! I will definitely go back. My one criticism is regarding staff and training. They were very friendly, helpful and sweet. Lots of them too… BUT… we were sat upstairs at about 130-245 and towards the end of our lunch, the upstairs emptied out. Then a girl started mopping the floors. Then she informed us upstairs “is closed”. Meaning, “you need to go”. Hmmm… we are the customers. It ISNT closed until we finish and leave. Clean around us but do not turf us out. We’ve paid to be there. If we stay all day then so be it. But staff should never ever ask customers to leave an empty restaurant at 245pm! I tried to exit via the bit she had just mopped. She said “no no!” I then asked if she wanted me to walk on the table to get out as the other way was SO tight. She could have so easily just mopped the bit I would have walked on for ten seconds! But NO. I had to squeeze around the one table left unmopped. TRAINING! Not ok. By all means, close the area but never make your customers feels unwanted as they won’t return. Such a shame because it’s an amazing place with flawless food! And they are very sweet and helpful, as I said. But training needs to cover this!!! You’d think it was common sense, but clearly not!

This has been on my list to try. Finally made it on a Saturday afternoon. Lives up to the hype! Staff were lovely, friendly and pleasant. I had the smoked salmon which was soft scrambled free range eggs, chives, smoked salmon, red onion and herbs sauce in a warm brioche bun and a coffee. I dined in. It was delicious. Unique but simple. I enjoyed every mouthful. So messy to eat, loved it! Suggest dining in. Very satisfying. I am still full five hours later! Generous with ingredients and so comforting on a chilly day. The coffee was spot on. Couldn't fault it. Order at the counter and if you are dining in, a member of staff will bring your order to you when ready. Nice branch. Cosy. Some seating downstairs, more upstairs. Nice atmosphere. A few small negatives and the difference in a 4 and 5 rating. Price. Nearly £20.00 for a 'burger, breakfast roll' and a coffee is a lot. Yes it was damn good but this is still a lot. Cleanliness. Tables were dirty and it was difficult to find a clean seat. Would recommend otherwise. I wouldn't go regularly based on cost but as a treat for sure.

Oh wow! Very tasty sirloin steak cooked medium rare perfectly - one of the best I've had. Friendly service, and obviously has some regular customers - book in advance if possible. We paid just over £50 per head for a shared starter (duck rillette - looked home made) and two sirloin steaks plus a couple of drinks each - very reasonable for steak in central London.

I have been dining here since 2017. They offer excellent Burgers with high quality meat. I also enjoy their cheesy fties and the macaroni and cheese very much. Their grilled cheese sandwiches and fish fingers are very delicious as well. I wash these food down with variety of milkshakes both regular and infused with alcohol. I wish this business to survive the COVID-19 Disaster.

Our friend who has recently turned 50 was playing that night in the band and invited us for drinks and live music. The performance (5live acts) was superb and we had no problem to book table on the same day for a delightful dinner with one vegetarian and one chicken main course (okra was the star of the dishes and cooked superb) followed by really scrumptious desert. We paid £50 for 2 people with 2 alcoholic drinks. It was easy to find and parking on street after 7pm is not an issue.
