Such a bad run-down place, two of the three ladies' toilets has been out of order for ages, no hot water to wash hands, bad path outside with lose paving stones, card machines don't work sometimes!!!!!!!!

It was apparent the services were severely understaffed on the day of my visit to get food and downtime from driving. All the toilets were closed including the Disabled Persons loo! Considering the dozens of people coming in behind us with children and adults with a disability looking for a comfort break, this is a tragic and stressful situation that should never have occurred. Sincerely hope the management of EG GROUP resolves this problem so it does not happen again.

Can't give less than 1 star. Toilets broken. Service station stinks. Needs to be shut down. Avoid

Toilets out of order. I thought it was a legal requirement for food establishments. Massive queue at the petrol station for one toilet.

Toilets were closed, car park was an illogical nightmare, and the inside of the services building was grubby too. Dogs also aren’t allowed inside. A solid one out of five experience.

What a sorry state. "Toilets closed" notice on the door. Tried the Travelodge who couldn't have been less interested if they tried. The Shell garage, inevitably had a queue out of the door despite the overly-optimistic "only 3 people to queue for the toilets" sign. On top of this the lights along the footpaths weren't working and there wasn't enough parking. It really was failing to provide anything that could be reasonably described as a service.

Horrid. WC closed. Mass pile ups. Staff disinterested.

6:20pm on a Friday - peak time for travelling you'd think. Subway closed, Greggs closed, TOILETS closed. Only BK open. No microwave to heat baby food or place to change a baby. Nearest toilet (x1) is around the corner in the petrol station and predictably has a queue for it. Surely these are basic necessities at a service station. Oh and seating area.. closed.

Only small place for food toilets are poor condition and one out of action. Petrol station is better for food

Google listing said opening times were 10am. This is incorrect, the Services open from 5am and Greggs opens from 5.30am, it is Burger King that opens at 10am!!! Only 3 cubicles in ladies toilets but were clean.

Disgusting. Filthy toilets. Only two food outlets open with very limited food (all fast food) and drink options.

The toilets always smell of stale urine. I use it every week and a few weeks ago you could smell it in the eating area. I sit in my car now

This stop was totally disgusting n dirty, toilet for the ladies, totally stank, wet floor, just one step up from peeing in the bush, makes me wonder what the kitchens were like, clean or not, some of the seats where ripped, if you are disabled I feel sorry for ya as out of order, needs someone better to manage them

Lovely stop over for 30-40 mins during a long 10 hour road trip across the country. Cleaning staff were engaging, friendly and even funny.

Toilet for ladies not good enough. Will never visit again

Have used these services a few times over recent years on way back from Cornwall. Over the last couple of years the staff and the services are deteriorating badly, whilst the grounds and building are showing clear signs of neglect and lack of maintenance. Today after driving for 4 hours, we made our regular stop here, only to find the seating area taped off, Burger King and subway closed. As for the staff at Greggs being the only food outlet open, they were too busy taking to each other and people they knew about their personal issues rather than serve the increasing queue. When we were eventually served, my baguette had been thrown together and the various parts thrown into the general direction of the bag for me to find it all fallen apart when we got back to our car. Couldn’t be bothered to go back and complain as the staff looked so disinterested that it wasn’t worth it. Won’t be using these services again. Shame, as this used to be a lovely little and well maintained service area that was a pleasure to stop at.

The toilets here are not adequate for the demand on one of the busiest routes to the south west.

After sitting in traffic, needing a wee, on the a303 for 2 hours I couldn't believe that this service station didn't have any working toilets. The Travelodge were refusing entry to theirs so I'm afraid we had to make do with the bushes!

A small but we'll stocked service and a nice place to stop for a break. All very clean and comfortable place.

Not busy when we used it, but we got what we wanted as we were on our way home.

We always stop here when when we are travelling on this part of the a303. I've given the 3 stars for the food at Subway and the ypung girl who served us. She did a great job considering she was on her own. There was only 1 ladies toilet and the disabled toilet working. The disabled toilet was absolutely filthy, toilet roll all over the floor, hand dryer wasn't working. I mentioned this to a young man who was sweeping the floors, if you could call it sweeping up. All he said was I know." All the floors inside the building were filthy so much so we ate our subway in our car. I know it gets busy, but I'd rather wait to use the toiletwhilst it was being cleaned up. Very disappointed

OMG toilets are disgusting, sanitary bins overflowing in both toilets, 3rd toilet out of order, hand dryer not working, this is a serious health hazard. Also the floors in the eating area were sticky and dirty hadn't been swept this is all at 6 am in the MORNING . It had just opened.

Called in on Sunday afternoon. Main toilets closed for no apparent reason. Only toilet was a single unisex one in the garage, with a twenty five minute queue. Whole area tired, scruffy and uncared for. If you are heading towards London carry on driving for ten minutes and you will find an almost new service area. Avoid this one at all costs

Staff did their best but whole place is a shambles....everything dirty, long queues, drinks machines constantly needing maintenance. We eventually got our order but too unpleasant to eat inside! Suspect its appalling management....

Quite tight area, had to wait 20mins for a chair

Although small it had what you need, toilet, food, car park, petrol, and rest. The only downside which is why I gave 3 stars, is the pavements cancelled do with some serious attention. Slabs were loose broken, if tired from driving and you need a rest or desperate for the loo, it could be a problem if you're not careful

We hired a car as we were here on holidays from Australia. The car unfortunately broke down on the motorway. We needed to borrow a phone to call roadside assistance and a lovely young lady named Destiny from Subway said she was more than happy to help us out. We waited almost 9 hours until we were picked up and were very grateful to Destiny and Sarah from Salisbury cleaners that were happy to stay for the entire duration until help arrived. We were very appreciative for all the support we received throughout this stressful process. Couldn’t be more grateful to the staff there and would definitely recommend visitors into the town :)

tbf it put in effort - but it does go down as one of the worst service stations I've stopped in hampered by it's windy road and questionable car parking spots, it really isn't suited for a busy rush food? it's got the big 3 toilets? get in a portaloo ambiance? surprisingly calm

Clean n tidy rest stop with good food available

If you need to stop and this is your only option I would recommend you keep on driving... Tiny disgusting toilets, very little options for food and drink (although I had my first Gregg's coffee which was actually quite pleasant), and you'll need a degree in quantum physics to navigate the car park. Avoid.

The worst rest area we had in England. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurants and there is no outside seating. Seating inside is also extremely limited. No free WiFi and toilets are not clean either. Overfilled trash cans.

Easy to find off the A303. CLEAN loos and three food options. OK parking.

Plenty of parking available here both in front of the stores, but also just a minute's walk away. Located with petrol and hotel. Overall outside is reasonably tidy. Inside the services there are tables for the food services options. Clean and tidy. Toilets were also clean and tidy. This location was busy when we visited on the weekend.

Hey guys, So, on our way back from Seaton (where we stayed with our good friend, Goose!) we popped by here for a little pit stop. Have to say, we had a LOVELY time. The ambience was flatter than the coke BUT they had some lovely hats. If the young man behind the counter just chucked on a bit of Capital FM, then I reckon you have yourself the hippest services this side of Andover. Enjoy! M and the crew x

The entrance was flooded. It was Tough to drive from the deep water. Subway staff are so unprofessionals and rude.

Nice clean stop over, polite staff,good choice of food and drinks.

Expense, difficult to park and feels like temporary building

Smelly, dirty toilets. No food available - closed. Just unpleasant. Remembered why we haven't stopped here for years... It has actually got worse.

Nice little service station with 3 choices Subway, Greggs Burger King. That's it but that's all you need. Clean and tidy.

Awful place. Three ladies' toilets and only one was working. The paper towel hung on string as hand blower was not working either. Dirty place.

These places are really useful. You expect services on motorways but on A roads, they are usually just a petrol station with a shop. Here is a mini services with different eating options. Glad it was there.

Quite small place. Travel lodge adjoined. Several choices of food outlets. Not alot of tables to sit down. Car park not overly big but enough spaces. Small section at the back where u can let a dog out. Adequate place to stop.

When we arrived it was late Sunday so most services were closed but there were different options, subway, greggs, etc

The toilets were not very clean and the men's toilet hand dryer wasn't working. The cleanliness could definitely be improved.

Absolutely awful. Tried to take my disabled child in to loos and had to give up. They were disgusting and unusable.

Awful, awful, awful. Toilets filthy, urine all over the floor, driers don't work, cramped. Probably same rude woman in Greggs, they must employ them specially, pretty much scolded me when I asked if something could be warmed like it said on the pack, what am I here for? Didn't bother in the end. Family bought something in BK, missing items from their order. Dirty tables not cleaned all day. AVOID!

Convenient stop for your journey

Very busy. Not the fault of the services. Very bad design entering the premises of the A303 that needs to be amended. Direction Signs are difficult for guiding you back out.

It's what one would expect from a services stop.

Worst service ever seen. The place needs to be three times bigger for all the people. Too less parking. Bad Toilettes.

Loads of places to eat Staff were kind and friendly

Updated 20230721. It's a welcome break after navigating Stonehenge, and Greggs, Burger King and Subway means there is sufficient fast food to satisfy a bunch of folks. Parking is ok, but the spaces are a bit narrow with only just enough room to turn. The toilets do smell though... The gents was quite uriny, and the dryers in the ladies apparently didn't work. Hopefully this will be fixed next visit.

Really long queues for the food places here so grabbed a sarnie and coffee from the garage. It's got what you need for a quick pot stop. Even though it was busy there were still parking spaces available.

Burger King doesn't take 💳 payment and the fries were overdone. Gregg's coffee was good.

A Shell petrol station, a Travelodge, Burger King, Greggs and a Subway. Cannot tell you anything about it apart from I needed a leg stretch, toilet break and a cuppa tea.
