The large shish was equivalent to a small in most other Kebab takeaways. Salad looked like it had been sitting on the counter for a week!

Threw it straight in the bin!!!! Never have I had such a poor take away. One sliver of cucumber and tomato in a large kebab. Meat so dry because it’s been stuck in a pot for ages. Phoned to complain and couldn’t understand the staff. Not good. Hayes kebab so much better.

The chicken and lamb shish meat is very tough and overcooked. And as another review suggested, they do re-fry the chips! Avoid.

This place never disappoint. Everything is always fresh and the staff very friendly. I strongly would recommend this take away.

if you want something to eat after 11 pm , there is nothing around anywhere , except Efes - It's open late, the people are friendly and you get a nice meal

Lovely fresh kebabs from here. Never had any issues always a polite and quick service. Reasonable prices.

Efe's will never let you down after a night out! Friendly, full of laughter and so many kind faces. Open late night so fantastic after you've been drinking too!

Efes Special only came with 2 pittas (1 of which was burnt) instead of 4 as on the menu. Shish & Kofte meat was burnt. Salad, chicken & donor all great. Only came with chilli sauce - no garlic sauces as on previous occasions

Yes, Efes has been here for a long time. But the quality and quantity of food has diminished and so has their responsibility to satisfy the needs of the public. They need to make great improvements to gain the reputation they used to have. Remember you have a choice, and so does Efes :(

Friday night Kebab.... Chicken Shish or Chicken and Lamb combi if you like your food. Excellent meat and salad.

We live relatively close so have used Efes for both weekend takeaways, and for post night out munchies. Got to say I dont know what the negative reviews on here are talking about. My boys (and I) love their burgers. I've ordered everything from donna, to chicken shish and always found the food tasty, the salad fresh and the burgers cooked to perfection. It can be a little lacking in customer service hence the 4 stars, but if you want beaming smiles and a birthday song when you walk in, go to TGIs. This is a great local kebab house and as long as you dont expect anything else you will be fine.

I'm surprised to see bad reviews below. We really rate the kebabs from here. Granted we only ever have a chicken shish but that's because I think you must be mad to want to eat a doner! The kebabs are cooked fresh in front of you, the peppers, tomato and onion are plentiful and nicely charred and the chilli sauce is hot. I also find the chips to be hot and not greasy. There is nothing to complain about here, they serve top notch kebabs.

Not been in here for a long time.And I have to say I wish I hadn't. I got a meat and chips out of there last night,and it was pretty bad.When I opened the box there was never a fivers worth of food in it. It tasted ok but the meat had chipping of bone in it,which I spent the rest of the evening trying to remove from my teeth. Never again.

Was looking forward to a late night lamb doner kebab - when I got home I was greeted with a very strange metallic smell when opening the packaging - after a few mouthfuls I realised the meat was off! I was immediately sick. My husband agreed that his also tasted strange. We immediately binned the offending food, but obviously not soon enough, as today both my husband and I are suffering with griping stomachs and violent diarrhoea. This was the only meal we have had over the last 24 hours! Will never be going back to Efes and recommend others boycott it too - until they serve top quality meat like they used to do years ago!!!

The service was poor. was not given salad with kebab and was only given a handful of chips! Wouldnt go again

I ordered a quarter pounder and chips, good value for money however I found that the chips had been re-fried. Therefore they were very dry and tasteless. I don't know why they think they can get away with doing this, as I won't be re- visiting again.
