Island Fish and Chips in Bromley

All of the food was cold and we ordered large portion of chips and only received a regular portion. Took ages to arrive

I ordered Shish kebab and chips, and got doner kebab and chips.

With a very fussy family to please, they managed to cater to and please everyone! Food was hot and delicious and delivered with a smile! We will definitely order again!

Meal was brilliant, but I also ordered a can of Diet Coke but for some reason it wasn't included in the bag, so I would like a refund please.

Kebab was up there with the best of em, chips perfect, and considering how ridiculous the prices are in other kebab shops in the area, I think I’ll be going here from now on 👍🏻👍🏻

Saveloy has no taste was rock hard chips just coated in oil was so soggy they feel apart picking them up and the ****ing don’t even get me started batter wasn’t even cooked properly could scrap it off with a knife will not be ordering from hear again a shame as my family have been going here for years new owners have ruined it since the took over 5 years ago

Sadly we didn't think the fish was rock as it was full of bones and stringy bits which is very unusual

Absolutely disgusting portion sizes paid £21.50 got a soggy haddock soggy sausage and batter and the Chip portion size is absolutely ridiculous worse than a kids portion man didn’t even communicate on the phone. Thought I’d try a new chip shop absolutely disgusting avoid at all cost no sympathy for customer and greedy people clearly to give such terrible sizes of portions out. It was cold . Didn’t enjoy this at all. I warmed it up but not very nice .

One chips in usually wrapped in paper £2.50 next day ordered large came in a box... less then the £2.50 amount got charged £3.70 plus 50p for a second sauce on top (not seperate pot) i understand businesses are tring to make money but for a standard fish and chips this is petty and stinchy. No other fish chips does this.

One of the meals was completely smothered in sauce so much was inedible. I called restaurant to advise and gentleman said “not my fault” and put phone down on me. Would not recommend

chips soft and fish barter uncooked. had to navigate around food and eat cooked bits of chips and fish. disappointing as was really looking forward to it.

Ordered 2 kebab and chips, no chips arrived at all then its not the same wouldn’t of had kebabs if known, shop said when I rang come and get them I said no Im in with kids he said ok next time get chips and can drink when you pass. To me thats not good. £26.

First time buying here and loved it. Yummy chips and portions are better than our usual place which have gone downhill recently.

Really good fish and chips shop. The mixed kebab is very generous with lots of veg to go with it and bread. Friendly service. Been going there for over 5 years as I write this. They've got sausages as well, and a lot of other extras.

Fish had a lot of gristle, it had more batter than fish. Fried chicken was dry, really salty and luke warm

Food was awful, dry and tasteless. Also the kid serving had lots of Warts on his hands which is very of putting. Not recommended.

I have bought fish and chips here previously, but today the service was not that great as according to the gentleman I only ordered fish but no chips. The fish is good but service appalling. I will definitely stay away for sometime. I visited today 18th of January 2018, and the owner was in and had a great service.

Food was good however the service is very bad. The customer service that I received was very rude and I will never go back because of this. I was overcharged and when I spoke to the staff member they told me that I owe them more money. And they was shouting because they thought I didn't pay them the correct money. At the end of it I gave them the money and walked out. I will never go back to this shop again! Very bad service

The fish and chips is well worth the money and the taste of their fish and chips are delicious
